Accept it and fold. That's life (and that's poker).
Yes, it sucks, says the single man who's over 30. That's life.

my intuition says: we're sitting on a rocket about to be ignited my rational mind tries to find explanations for the intuition: - ECB Paper, ZeroHedge coverage / ... taps whole new reservoir of potential supporters and enemies, this might initiate wider public/academic discussion
- I see an above-average amount of newbs trickling in that seem to be quite educated and understanding already (not your typical gamer kid)
- Market turmoil ahead with the reward halving
- Long consolidation period has been going on
- Ongoing and increasing distrust of fiat money and banking system amongst the general population
- Bitcoin fundamentally rocksolid and more and more people "get it"
- All this taken together might push bitcoin beyond the next "critical mass" checkpoint of adoption / public awareness within the next 1-3 months.
- ...
- rocket ignition
don't jump off *pats self on back* My intuition was correct so far, lets see if it plays out accordingly in the coming weeks and months. Hopefully BTC will be $50 each by 2013, and I will be closer to becoming a millionaire.

Because nobody really cares, panic is FUD and not necessary for a healthy economy

Someone with no agenda just trying to sell their bitcoin is likely the most common reason. There may be someone with many coins from a long time back, who just needs money fast.

hash rate continues to crash does this mean their will be less coins produced then the weekly target? Yes, if it will not go up again

There really isn't a big reason to have too many cryptocurrencies. It is much simpler for everyone to stick with a single one, no matter which one they pick.

In my opinion, you should just try to obtain BTC in a different way, since it is a waste of electricity (protect the environment ^^) to mine with bad hardware.

Pffft I'm sure that's the kind of thing they said about flight and look what happened then, humanity needs to do this kind of thing for its survival, if we don't we'll blow each other up over the only remaining resource left on this planet.
Off-planet mining is crazy. Its way too dangerous and expensive. Its not beyond our capabilities, but its just way out there. Totally different from building the first airplane. The Wright brother's first airplane cost $22,000 in today's dollars to build. [source]If energy was free, and we could build bomb-proof robot spacecraft that could go 10% of the speed of light for next to nothing, then it'd be different. Mars rovers cost hundreds of millions each, and it's totally unsuitable for resource harvesting. NASA is ecstatic every time they have a successful Mars mission (and they should be). It might be possible with new technology very soon, you never know.

I have Bitcoins, I'm looking for a small prepaid card ($10 or so) for an online purchase.
Can anyone help me out?

Naw, an open beta (free) isnt worth 5btc, all that would have to be done is fill out a form for the beta.
It would take me time to fill in the form with correct, and accurate information to ensure the success of your application. Since time is money, I require money. 5 BTC to be exact. Just let me know when you are ready to purchase my outstanding and superior service.

DMCA are applicable only to zionist USA and puppet states.
Tor hidden service have no accountability, that's why the DMCA and national security letters are ridiculed on front page.
Yes, what makes me think is that there aren't any popular filehosting sites taking advantage of the legislation in Russia. There are some. rghost, letitbit, and at least 5 or 6 more that I can't remember the name, but they aren't used much on the Western Internet. Hotfile is the product of a Russian, but it is/was registered in Panama. Well as for rghost they have a "abuse" link which directs to an email address. With letitbit there is a specific mention of DMCA with the usual complementary form. It seems at least letitbit is engaging in voluntary corporation with content management firms. What's the deal? I must admit I've seen letitbit links, some of them went down too. See here: http://letitbit.net/ip_policy.phpletitbit.net (including but not limited to websites under such as letitbit.net) is an internet service provider as defined by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. section 512 ("DMCA") and as such, letitbit.net complies with all provisions of the DMCA and copyright law including Intellectual Property Rights. letitbit.net responds promptly to claims of copyright infringement reported to its designated copyright agent. letitbit.net shall accommodate and not interfere with standard technical measures (as defined by the DMCA) used to identify and protect copyrighted works and shall disable access to or remove content that it believes in good faith may infringe the copyrights of third parties as well as discontinue service to users who repeatedly make such content available or otherwise violate letitbit.net's Terms of Service.
letitbit.net has a zero tolerance approach towards copyright infringement, as such, we ask that you do not abuse the letitbit.net service by using it to distribute materials to which you do not have legal rights or authorization.
Should you have good faith belief that your copyright has been uploaded without your permission or authorization we suggest you send letitbit.net's registered agent a DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement. Real bp hosts will ignore abuse reports.
