8701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to be a day trader? on: June 03, 2017, 07:57:16 AM
hello guys i'm pretty free nowadays got nothing to do so thought to give day trading a try i'm hodling coins for long term too but now i want to learn how to do day trading with a small amount since i don't know much about chart reading & TA so kindly leave some useful articles / links & advices below like when to buy & when to sell & how much profit ( % ) is enough.

Thanks

If you are going to start trading with altcoin to bitcoin and vice versa. You might want to go to the altcoin threads like speculations or their own ANN threads to see how good this coins are now.
With enough knowledge you might be able to make a successful trade.
If it is day trading I think it is enough to monitor a certain altcoin movement or you could download an android application which have an alarm whenever it will hit the price you prefer.
8702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: June 03, 2017, 04:10:29 AM
When you dont have anything more to lose.
I dont believe that people could just go away with a big amount to lose. There is always this thought of "what if I get lucky the next round?"
When you are winninhg it wont be a problem, it is easy to decide because you got the money.  On the other hand, losing is like a virus, it will eat you up until you got depleted and nothing more to lose.
8703  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2017, 08:22:01 PM

Im sure its easier to explain this to youngsters rather than older people. Maybe draw some lines with fiat and good to go

Of course teens will better understand how the work of bitcoin. Because they are the millennium generation. Of course today's teens are very familiar with technology, so it's not hard to explain to him

yes you are right the youngsters could understand technology better because they have a good picking power and also now a days the young generation is taking part in many technologies, for example in my country there are 8 and 9 years old Microsoft engineers, so think it is easy for youngsters to understand bitcoin.
That is amazing to hear about these kids that they are software engineers. I think your country will be more faster in the technology of software. You have to teach them about bitcoin and I am sure that they will get a higher success in the world of crypto and will support bitcoin and will give it the success.

Technology is really boosting the kids and will make new geniuses in our world faster to learn.
I have heard one kid who made an android application and made some USD just because of that.
This will be a new generation who will have kids that are exceptional.
But still it would be better if they stay at school. It is way too different in terms of teaching.
Maybe some of them will use bitcoin as their transaction currency in case they created another project for it.
8704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: June 02, 2017, 03:23:52 PM

Maybe half of it, because bitcoin prices do not go up and down, so to be wary I keep half of it with real money, I so because do not want big loss if price decline, but you can invest all if you want.

yes you are right that we should not place all of our funds in bitcoin because if the price come down then there will be loss of money, to me i have place 50% of my funds in bitcoin and the rest fund i have in fiats to spend it on my daily needs.

It is simple.
Don't put everything in just one investment.
It is not just bitcoin that is out there. You dont want to be sleeping in the streets after a huge breakdown.
Save something for yourself. You dont even need to save it to the banks just keeping it in a safe place would do good. You could also get what you profited from bitcoin trading then keep it.
8705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: June 02, 2017, 08:41:32 AM
We are talking and discussing investments, trading and earning bitcoins here. For our future and earning money through bitcoin not DRUGS.

True. But it became a part of it.
I was even talked about this since I knew about bitcoin.
Offered me cash plus 10 percent if i could provide bitcoins for them.
This is also one of the reason why others cant invest with bitcoin. Since they knew it was being used for illegal transaction it also changed how they look at it.
8706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: June 02, 2017, 04:12:35 AM
My biggest mistake of using bitcoin since i have 3 bitcoin in my wallet i didn't expect that bitcoin will gonna grow up like this i sold out all my coins when the price is at 1,200$ because im too afraid to bitcoin price will decrease that fast and after i sold out all my coins bitcoin price starting to rise and rise till it hit the price of 2000$ and still moving up this is why im blaming my self also it is too late to buy another to stack because bitcoin price now is too expensive.

If all of us think like that how could bitcoin still grow.
I dont think there is a late time to buy bitcoin.
As long there is still remaining bitcoin to be bought then it is always the right time even if it goes too expensive.
When it hits 1k usd many have thought it was expensive already. Until now.
8707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to store Altcoins (Is Bittrex/Polo safe) on: June 01, 2017, 08:20:14 AM
Man. Those are exchange sites. That means you just exchange it there.
If there is an available wallet for your certain altcoin then use that.
I am not saying they are not trusted but it is better to be safe than not.
You will lose nothing by doing that. In fact, you will be doing yourself a favor.
8708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why investing in the bank of a centralized cryptocurrency casino is a bad idea on: June 01, 2017, 05:59:37 AM
There is a thread here that talks about investing in a crypto currency casino and it is way too good that you will be amazed and somehow might get excited about joining them.
Cant see it anymore I think it had been buried. If I do see it I will send you the link and if I were you dont believe that link. There is a lot more to read than just that article.
What if that person is just a bitter for he had joining the wrong casino?
Try to look for more detailed explanation.
8709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin up altcoin dump on: June 01, 2017, 01:33:41 AM
Cryptocurrency is like a roller coaster.  Yesterday, everything was red.  Now today, everything is green.  If only you had a crystal ball to see in the future, everyone would be rich over night.

That will take off the balance of everything.
It is not always a win everytime we trade.
There will have to be losses in which we could learn from and see to it that next time will be different.
I have lost so much in trading but still it doesnt need to stop there.
It will be easier the next time.
8710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: May 31, 2017, 06:20:59 PM
Still it is hard to predict how all of this had happened. With just a small amount of time it can create al large leap when it comes to its price.
I just think the number of bitcoin that is circulating is really getting lower as days goes by.
If this continues and many will keep on holding there will be more waves upward that will come.
8711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The path to BTC 4K and ETH 1K on: May 31, 2017, 08:32:43 AM
So why is ETH is going up with bitcoin just like that.
I thought I have read a lot of people here telling that when bitcoin is up altcoins are down.
Now this is different. Just one change and it could be just like bitcoin.
1k is a lot of money. This better be a good story.
8712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That day when Bitcoin hits $50.000.- on: May 31, 2017, 06:33:51 AM
Damn. It's better to leave my mark in here.

HELLO GUYS FROM THE FUTURE!

Also, why would you sell your Bitcoins when they are worth $50k if you can use them anywhere? As you said, every shop accepts bitcoin as a method of payment. No more selling "digital currencies" for the "real money" called Dollar. Bitcoin IS the real money. LONG LIVE BITCOIN!

Btw, imagine if in the future each Bitcoin are actually worth $1m each. We will be laughing about such low value you are predicting...

I guess he somehow got shy and changed the 100 to 50 just being conservative.  Grin
Dang! Just imanginig it gives me the chills and also a big smile.
We are lucky to have been a part of this. They will be in chaos or maybe in a hustle to get some bitcoin because of that while we are just sitting down, relaxing or watching the bitcoin rising every minute.
8713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you feel when win in gambling? on: May 31, 2017, 03:00:22 AM
What else would you feel?
Of course it is happiness that will take over and maybe some pride that you did it by yourself.
Sometimes there is a sad part there.
When you got home all your things are outside your house and your wife is really mad.   Grin
Seriously dude, I will enjoy it and keep reminding myself that I won and I will boast it to my friends.
8714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: May 31, 2017, 01:26:26 AM
I'm not sure which young people you think will invest when they barely have enough to live paycheck to paycheck. The current generation born after 1990 are considered the poorest in the last 50 years.
Depends what situation you're in.  "Young" young people, like teenagers, have easy opportunities to mess around online in their free time and potentially earn Bitcoin, which I would regard as being all in.

If you live in a middle class family with your parents, sometimes it could be a great option.
in fact the trend of the young people is toward internet and computer, and therefore they are giving preference to online shopping and therefore they will online currency for that and that is the reason that they have the best option to use bitcoin for shopping online.

Not yet. If something interesting come up in that certain online shop that they are browsing they will just tell it to their parents who will be the one to buy that certain thing.
In this generation I see they cant stop playing games online. With bitcoin connected with that game then it will all just be spent for that purpose. They wont even care to read what bitcoin will be.
Sure they are online in social medias for almost like 24 hours but that still doesnt say they will be in.
I still dont agree with this and they should just go to school or maybe get a first job with his or her own employer. Socializing first with different people in their jobs rather than sitting in front of a computer without any friends.
8715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 30, 2017, 04:54:58 PM
Yes cash better, can directly be used for any transaction while bitcoin can only be used to buy goods online and need to work with certain parties.

You are correct but you are just looking there.
Try to move your head into a different direction and you will see.
Cash is just better for physical trading and buying stuffs.
What else could it do?
That just stops there. There is so much to be done with bitcoin specially now that it is booming in value.
Projects are being created and some are already accepting it as a payment option.
The best of all is investing on your own. You dont need a broker a manager or anything they call them. You are your own.
8716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: International Money Transfer on: May 30, 2017, 08:21:39 AM
Is bitcoin cheaper than other options for international money transfer? I have seen many agree with it and many dispute it, but not with hard numbers.

As other options are expressed in terms of a percentage (eg, 4% fees), this needs to be the comparison for bitcoin, at various amounts of money, despite that bitcoin transaction fees are apparently unrelated to the amount being sent. Let's also say for the sake of argument that a transfer within 24 hours is acceptable.

It is the same as other money transfer companies.
The larger you send the larger the fees will become.
If you want security then bitcoin is a good option.
For now, if you want cheaper one you can go with other money transfer and also speed.
That have been a problem for bitcoin for like 2 months or 3 now.
The fees are actually lower but because of the sudden increase in value it looks like it is expensive.
8717  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: May 30, 2017, 04:44:39 AM
Some say that there is a downtrend framing however I don't trust it. All specialized investigation can be rendered futile in any unforeseen development that is not expected, that is the reason i dont have faith in specialized examination, it's deceptive.

I dont believe that.
Examine all they want and I will just go with the flow.
If it goes down then buy more. If it goes up then sell.
It had been done for years and still it works.
Many have already taken profits with just doing that. Making a capital then rotate it as much as possible to increase the number of bitcoin that they will hold in the future.
I just trust my instincts.
8718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 30, 2017, 02:07:18 AM
Many points should be considered before that could happen.
1. Stability on price. People would not want their money dropping in value in an instant.
2. The transaction time should be fixed. Who would stay being a merchant when he cant see the payment coming after the trade.
3. A country with a high technology. Japan did it because of that. Not all are like Japan and it will take years before other countries could be just like that.
8719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was at 2500$ on: May 29, 2017, 06:34:19 PM
Just some movement with bitcoin price and they panicked.
What a nasty way to think of how an investment work.
If you cant take it then you could find another option to where you want to put your money.
There is the bank and mutual funds where you could profit "safely" like they say.
But how old are you before you would even see how much you gain.
8720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy? on: May 29, 2017, 04:20:09 PM
No time to waste. Buy if you feel like buying.
Think about this. Does anyone know when it will rise?
You can always make your own decision. Everything they say here will just be speculations.
There will be no exact or perfect prediction.
Regrets do come at the end.
