8701  Economy / Services / Re: ⛏ Ice Rock Mining Signature & Avatar Campaign ⛏ [OPEN] on: November 07, 2017, 02:09:41 PM
For all those who are posting applications to join the campaign, there is no use doing so.

This campaign was supposed to run till the end of the ICO and if you see icerockmining.io then the ICO ends today and so the signature campaign will in all probability end tomorrow.
8702  Economy / Services / Re: How to get paid in ETH or BTC ? on: November 07, 2017, 12:25:06 PM
Hi,for the bounties, do you know how to get paid in ETH or BTC ? most of manager campaign pay in Token ( but this currency is worthless, its a SCAM) , how to get paid in ETH or BTC please ?

In this forum we have campaigns that pay you in Bitcoin and altcoins. The "Services" section deals with mainly those that are paying in bitcoin. The "Altcoin (Bounties)" section deals with those paying in altcoins.

Most ICO bounty campaigns pay in altcoins and they are distributed after the token sale or so. However not every altcoin is a scam. Ethereum was not a scam - I took it up since you seem to know about it already. For detecting an ICO to be scam you need to do your own research. You can just call every project a scam. Again a coin is not a scam. A scam a method to swindle someone while a currency is a legal tender of payment.

But it seems you already have  negative trust from DT2 members associated with multiaccount abuse of campaigns and buying accounts. So you can go away from this forum and try to shitpost somewhere else.
8703  Economy / Reputation / Re: Buying an account to claim ownership of username on: November 07, 2017, 08:57:08 AM
I Think Before doing this Thing Sir, you should contact Person who is Eligible to give you "Just" Advice if It's okay or Not.
Account buying/selling only allows spamming shitposting farming trust and scamming. Read what has been posted above by Lauda.

Maybe This Wish will be Granted by Moderators and Admins Because As seen in your Trust Feedback it has more Positive Trust.
If a person needs an alternate account then can make a new one. Buying an account gives access to a rank which they did not achieve themselves and thus it is looked down upon.

Means that you Are Trustworthy Person But Be Formal and Professional to Ask before Doing. Cheesy
We have seen many trusted members in this forum grow their trust and then become trust farmers and scam people. The trust system is unmoderated and is in a total mess if you ask me. In this forum nobody can be trusted.

I may not Have the Authority to give Advice Because my rank is Member and you are Legendary Cheesy but, That is the best Thing I can suggest.
Your rank does not mean you dont have authority to advice anyone. Everyone is free to state their opinion.

8704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If selling B2X, how much will the trading platform matter? on: November 07, 2017, 08:49:53 AM
The platform to trade does not have much difference. The only difference I see is that some exchanges have bigger volumes and slight differences in prices. That would be important for those who are strategically dumping the coin at those exchanges which have the highest price or buying at those which have lowest price.

Again since you are talking about B2X then people will be mindlessly dumping it hence I would suggest you to use those exchanges which have declared of supporting this coin when it has completed forking - do you own research on this because I am least bothered about this altcoin.
8705  Economy / Economics / Re: How to train your money for costly bitcoin? on: November 07, 2017, 08:45:40 AM
Given the situation of bitcoin prices are growing higher and more higher since last few weeks is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with the regular small fixed amount of purchase. Earlier for 100 dollars a month or bimonthly I was able to see the reasonable amount of bitcoin ( or should I say satoshis). Nowadays the prices have gone high which feels real good for existing amount purchased so far. However at the same time getting clueless about how much should be put aside for regular bitcoin purchase. Because for 100 dollars the amount of satoshis we get is nothing.

Welcome to the world where the price of an article being 10BTC today becomes 1btc tomorrow. Since the start of the crypto market this has been happening. Now that bitcoin price is high I can understand you problem but there is not much you can do about it except that cashing out would be profitable to a large extent.

Quote
What do you think how to tackle the problem of investing in bitcoin on regular basis with prices going high and higher?
Personally I am holding bitcoin and not transacting much. However if you need to do regular transactions then I suggest buy smaller amounts of bitcoin keep the USD equivalent of that amount of bitcoin equal in all cases.
8706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surviving segwit2x hardfork on: November 07, 2017, 08:39:08 AM
I've cashed out all I had yesterday for $10k AUD each. I think the "free money" is a red herring and there's more chance of both chains combined being valued less than BTC today alone, than there being two highly valued working chains post-fork.
Im pretty confident that the original bitcoin core chain will be the one voted by the miners as the future high valued fork and not the new altcoins. But I think you have taken a good decision in cashing out. I will not be astonished to see if there is a price crash after the fork or maybe before the fork as well the fluctuations will be seen.

Quote
I'll be in cash and on sidelines assessing the market, then maybe put some in alts till the dust has settled.
Keep an eye on the price after the fork. I am sure there will be people selling and thus a good time to buy some bitcoin and maybe some altcoins as well.
8707  Economy / Reputation / Re: Buying an account to claim ownership of username on: November 06, 2017, 08:47:50 AM
I know that buying accounts in general is strongly frowned upon. But if there's an inactive account with a username I like, and I have managed to contact the original owner through external social media, can I purchase the account? I will publicly state that I own the account, and don't plan to do anything but on that account.

I don't see any problem regarding this, but wanted to make sure.

The account you talk about here simply has a username that you find yourself to like and not any other "plus point".
Now in the forum account sales only allow farming spamming and scamming according to Lauda. Now if we finely examine this then any green trusted account will only be allowed to scam others preferentially than a zero trust account.

Next you are saying that you will publicly claim that you are the new owner of the account. Darkstar also has an alt account which he/she uses for less secure connections and they also publicly claim that. Hence I dont see any problem if you do the same. The idea of the account abusing signature campaigns also goes away with this.

One thing that may be problematic is that if the person who was the original owner had some friends in the forum  and with whom they had previous trades by contacting on this forum and done on another place, or other social afflictions which Decoded will obviously not know of. Certainly we cannot expect the original owner to list down every other person whom they have done such deals. They may not always end up as green trusts and thus this is something I would not like.

However it is the sole decision of the DT2 members to decide and solve the problem. I am only giving my opinion in this regard.
8708  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: November 06, 2017, 08:35:21 AM
Do you think Amazon will accept bitcoin (in this year or next future )?

No and no. Amazon will not be accepting bitcoin - ever. You can count my words. There has been a running rumpor made by some FUD spreaders in the forum about amazon accepting bitcoin. However this will not happen and if it was to happen then there would be a official announcement from Amazon and also there would be a huge spike in bitcoin price.

instead of Amazon has received a bitcoin payment bro, as far as I know amazon has been applied in this year and it certainly can boost the price of bitcoin

What exactly do you mean to say? Your words make no sense. Also Amazon accepting bitcoin would make for some healthy growth in the price but this will not be happening anytime soon.
8709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price Worth $7500 on: November 06, 2017, 08:29:47 AM
Bitcoin Price Will Have ‘No Difficulty’ Hitting $10,000,
What makes you say so? The current rise in price is due to the fork that is upcoming. This growth is no doubt unhealthy and there is a chance of dump after this once the fork is resolved. The pump is temporary and people will be selling some bitcoin after they dump the new altcoin as well.

Quote
After Bitcoin hit $7,000 and stayed above it Monday, the virtual currency’s most famous fans are confident $10,000 will involve little effort.
The fans are confident? Give me a break from this hype. The fans are just on a propaganda to make money and cash out. Because they are simply speculating and going to dump if such price reached 10k

Quote
Will the bitcoin price reach $10k by the end of the year, then what about the altco price??
Altcoins will rise after bitcoin gets sold for altcoins. However if people sell it for fiat then it might not be so - which is however unlikely.

It will surely touch 10000$ till December end 2017.
Hold your position if you are trading or you have BTC.

You cant say anything for sure in crypto market. Holding bitcoin is what I am doing but there is no guarantee that prices will reach 10k and stay they for sometime.
8710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cartaxi Bounty Scam!! They Deceive their participants on: November 05, 2017, 07:26:12 PM

That's why they must be informed. Of course they have activities in real life but as soon as they informed, they will look into this if they have time.
Since they have these sections of the forum under their patrol in general, they will respond soon if they find your accusation genuine and worth looking into.

Quote
Buttheart people? We cant blame anyone?? What a comment from an experienced user here in this forum. Are you retarded? The details of payout have been changed the moment the campaign was finised. So it's just fine to you?Huh You will never complained?Huh Come on dont just increase your post count here shitposter.
That is the headache of the campaign participants. The manager can change the payments anytime they want. They are managing the campaign and they can do whatever they want. Fact is that if you participate, you are bound to the terms they set in and to all modifications that they do later on. However they are not responsible for you getting lower payment later on for modified terms. You cannot blame them for changing payouts. You have to accept that.

Quote
Another bullshit comment. The CARTAXI project is success!
You did not read that line - I was referring to ICOs in general. and that added part was just a side note to make people aware of the aftermath of an ICO and its bounty campaign.

Quote
And to add for your idiotic response, THE ETH ADDRESS ON TRANSLATION SHEET WAS BEING CHANGED TO A HACKER ADDRESS UPON DISTRIBUTION OF PAYMENT!! DO YOU THINK THAT IS NOT INTENTIONAL??? THE ONLY ONE WHO HAVE ACCESSED THERE IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER HOW COME IT WAS HACKED??
IN THAT CASE ITS STILL OK TO YOU AND WILL NEVER COMPLAINT? IDIOT!
Ethereum address private keys OFTEN get hacked and this is not a new phenomena. People get phished by the myetherwallet phishing links at times and its sucks to be the victim I can understand.

I am not in support of the fact that Cartaxi Bounty was not paid to the participants. However I would reiterate what I said in my last post that doing a signature or bounty campaign does not mean you are going to be paid - accept this and move on.
8711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestions for trading on: November 05, 2017, 10:03:10 AM
Hi guys, what is the best coin for trading . Give me your suggestions Smiley

The best coin for trading is bitcoin obviously - but this depends on what price you are buying the coin and what target you have in mind. For bitcoin I suggest people to hold it for long term. However at the current price it is not a good choice to buy bitcoin. Rather set buying orders at low price and pray that prices do drop in future so that you can buy some. Otherwise if you are desperate then you can obviously buy at the current price.

Other long term investments in Ethereum and Ripple are good according to me. Monero and Dash are also great options if you are looking to buy some coins in low price than bitcoin.

If you want to earn profit in trading, i suggest you ETH, the new version of Bitcoin, the more perfect of Bitcoin . Bitcoin's price for now is too high and it's not good enough to investing in it. But it's not with Etherum, everything is still new and price is still can be accepted.

Ethereum is not a new version of bitcoin - it if a different crypto altogether.
8712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: November 05, 2017, 09:57:53 AM
nowadays gambling industry is a very profitable sector of business, and much new gambling keeps coming out. I think it's gonna be hard for gambling industry to runs out of a player because many people addicted to gambling and some of the gambler make it as a source of income.

Did the Vegas casinos ever run out of players? It is human nature to dream of big and the millionaire lifestyle. Thus whenever people see ways of making money in a quick manner they forget that risk is also involved. But its good for the casino owners, because more of these potential addicts that join the casino, more profits for the owners and investors.

Gambling is not a source of income for the players but a source of loss. There are people who are really lucky and manage to win big but most people simply lose a lot and either end up in debt or become addicted to gambling trying to win back their money.
8713  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you know about hashocean which is bitcoin Mining on: November 05, 2017, 09:54:00 AM
I invested money in bitcoin hashocean.com and used to get daily small amount but hashocean is deactivated and lost my capital amount.
I felt tears for Hashocean website, I heard its been from so many years and genuinely paying but at sudden they closed it.
When Iam new to bitcoin I resulted with benefit of loosing just because of investing in bitcoin hashocean mining website.
I believe many users may also face like me with hashocean.  Cry   Cry

First of all you must understand that every cloud mining site out here is basically a ponzi scheme if not providing proof of location, mining farm and personnel working there. Most of them will not and thus most of them are scams. People are crazy about mining and since they cannot mine themselves they look for ways to earn by cloud mining and dont check the credibility of the site.

Hashocean was such a site and they have scammed a lot of people like you who had invested in them. Let this be a lesson for you and dont invest in cloud mining sites that do not provide enough proof for their mining farms.
8714  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cartaxi Bounty Scam!! They Deceive their participants on: November 04, 2017, 11:39:04 AM
I wonder where is the DT members now? They still didn't put a red paint on the scam dev on this project.
Obviously the DT members have a life and they are not hunting down ICO bounty campaigns which do not pay their participants.

Quote
A justice must be serve to this since if they will be tolerated like this they might gonna create an another scam bounty project in future, RED tag must be serve right now and I'm calling the attention of the active DT.
DT members are not internet police. You cannot expect them to deliver "justice" to every scam ICO out there. However they have been working hard in this and they will come to your accusation soon.

On another note I would like to add this to all butthurt people here - Signature campaigns and bounty campaigns are rampant and people are always ready to grab a bite of free cash by shitposting in this forum. Doing so is a privilege and if you are not paid for that they you cannot blame anyone because you are not legally bound to be paid by them. If you feel that the ICO may not be able to raise the funds and pay bounty campaigners then leave the campaign.

If you are so obsessed with "justice" then go outside and get a real job which pays you - obviously you dont even have the qualifications to do so and that is why you are still here.
8715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finaly done btc on: November 04, 2017, 11:26:52 AM
i guess btc is stable now ,market is recovery ?

Was the market ever stable in the from last year? Bitcoin has been on the rise for sometime now.  In future the price is increasing and there is no clear cut signs of recovery or dump. If you want to buy bitcoin do it now because there is no chance that the market will dump anytime soon.

i guess btc is stable now ,market is recovery ?
It's a rather difficult to guessed indeed, but I think it's not done yet, there is still a possibility that bitcoin price will still moving towards higher again from the present. Well, will remain stable or not bitcoin price at this time and so on, I personally really can't predict it exactly, can only thought it and guessing in accordance with my personal knowledge.

All I can say is that I will be HODLing for some time now. The price increase in the last week has been huge crossing 7k usd and now going for 8k usd I hope. If it touches 8k I will sell some. Price is down at 7.1k at this time so I guess people are dumping which is a temporary issue and price will be back on rise soon enough.
8716  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: November 04, 2017, 11:21:24 AM
I think the title says it all.

After a long time of thinking, reading and also investing a bit into Bitcoin I have to say that it looks for me that the main use is actually just pure Investment. It always looks like that everyone just talks about how great the Technology is although they secretly want to get super rich with a always raising price. Of course it's used with several shopping or daily things, but that's just such a small part of it.
During that, people who don't want to take the risk to invest call it a "Bubble" and people who don't want to lose their money just make kind of stupid speculations without any arguments.

There is arguments behind bitcoin. How the core works and how the transactions are secured. There are a lot of people who dont even know about the technology and to them bitcoin is just a pump and dump scheme which if profitable they boast of their earnings and if decreases in value, they simple start screaming - "its a ponzi". It is not so because the technology is there and you can view it on github, clone the repository, fork it and launch your own coin. It is true that speculators will keep speculating and you have to deal with it.

Quote
In the end (just my opinion) the price of Bitcoin is controlled by all the media (that's hyping bitcoin and talking about it everywhere) and all the really big bitcoin whales with e.g. like 10000+ coins can actually effect the market the most. Imagine what a few people with a huge amount of bitcoins could work out together to control the market and making money.

Bitcoin price is controlled by the traders of bitcoin. Now if there is some news and media article which may be favorable or not favorable to bitcoin the market will show changes based on what the majority of the traders believe in. So the action of media is secondary because those who are into long term investment plans for bitcoin will ignore all FUD spread by whoever it may be.
Quote
It's just weird, because it turns this, what everyone calls it, great technology in the end just to a fully commercial object to earn money. Which would be probably also the reason why it stays and raises all the time, because it's normal that everyone wants to make a big amount of money with this little effort.

There is nothing weird in this. The technology was built to change how the world economy acts. Now how the people have monetized on that is another issue. After all every human needs money to survive and thus they look for investments and methods to earn. The rise in price of bitcoin is what attracts investors.
8717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Silver: December hard fork on: November 04, 2017, 11:11:00 AM
I hope this is just a joke. But if not and it's a huge success (at least for the developer) watch this space as I release Bitcoin Platinum! It's just the same as all the other forks but it's better because it's got a better name!

Just a better name? I guess that is what forks is for nowadays. Since the hype of the first fork in August, there has been multiple forks and it seems like bullshit now. People are investing in bitcoin because of this. But this is not a healthy growth. These forks are ruining the name of a coin and people should stop supporting them. They have no monetary value - since we are all going to dump them all as soon as they reach an exchange.

The core is always the base or the lead, something getting into existence from the main chain at any point won't claim it to be the bitcoin. It will always serve as an altcoin with little more popularity than the other altcoins that gets developed on some other platforms such as Eth smart contracts or the waves platform.

Agreed it will remain an altcoin and will never be able to replace bitcoin. In ethereum and waves there is deployment of smart contacts - but that not similar to forking. That is simply a new coin that has been developed.

8719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do alt coin holders lose money when Bitcoin's price rises? on: November 03, 2017, 10:06:32 AM
When the price of Bitcoin rises, most of the alt coin markets plummet.
This is a common idea in the market. I do no know how far it is true or is it just a fake conspiracy theory. For me I believe in bitcoin and some altcoins not all. So that does not mean that bitcoin rise will make altcoins fall - if you think that people sell altcoins to buy bitcoin - it seems bullshit to me. But thats just my opinion.

Quote
(1) Does that mean that alt coin holders are losing money, or are the lower alt coin prices a mere adjustment in relation to the new price of Bitcoin?
Numerically yes the altcoin prices being lowered, if they sell at that price they will lose money considering they bought the altcoin at a higher price than that. But simple holding the coin does not mean you are losing anything. Its just like holding a penny in your pocket which has lost its monetary value.

Quote
(2) How do you determine if you are in the green or red? Do you look at the $ value of your alt coin, OR what it's worth in BTC?
Both are useful to determine that. On the major exchanges, you can listings in USD and BTC and also ETH. But for the sake of crypto we are mainly associated with BTC and ETH price.

However a coin being red or green is not something to be worried about. It is the future of the coin that need to be thought before you invest anything in it.
8720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i buy altcoin with ETH? if yes, how? on: November 03, 2017, 09:58:39 AM
There is a site known as shapeshift which allows conversion of crypotcurrencies. https://shapeshift.io

Not just ethereum to altcoin but any other altcoin to another altcoin conversion is also possible. Now not all altcoins are listed there, but majority of them are there and you can use them. I hope you can find the specific altcoin that you want.

Their service is also not free. There is a fee for conversion and the conversion occurs at current market price. So keep a tab on the price and do the exchange as you deem fit.

Also majority of exchanges allow purchase of altcoins with ether and USDT. I use HitBTC and they do allow that.
