So what exactly is this you are doing, are you saying we should follow your bets ans play and tip. Or its like you are showing that you get your bets right? Is this kind of service. I feel you should add some more information as this is really difficult to understand and doesn't make any sense. If someone gets it post here so we all know.
8722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FortuneJack Played Me again! Ask before you deposit. on: June 27, 2017, 10:36:38 AM
Op though your case now seems solved I would advise you to be more alert when you solely rely in ads. It's often the case where ads are done for getting users and it's a legit practice, it is the user who needs to be careful. How ever I am glad op will get his money back! I feel he should be awarded the bug bounty, but then again it's their discretion. Well op since your problem is solved I feel this thread can now be locked down, or if there is anything left to be solved keep it open.
8723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What games are best suitable for PvP gambling? on: June 27, 2017, 09:57:00 AM
I believe that cryptocurrencies can revolutionize PvP gambling and turn it into a big industry. In PvP gambling players play against other players and also bet against them. The most widespread and successful PvP gambling game is poker, but what other games do you know that work well in gambling? Before the Internet some people gathered in parks and played chess for money, but nowdays it's hard to play chess competitively on the internet due to the power of chess AI. Also, there are altcoin projects that allow people to challenge each other and bet on popular online games like CS:GO or Dota, but so far they didn't accomplish any major success.
So, what do you think the perfect PvP game for gambling should be?

Player Vs Player will require a good site to make it first, and I feel sports like cricket, football would be far suited for this kind of games. It's a pity there are not good sites that can actually do it, then I wouldn't mind to play on adult wresting if there was a way to play on it. Football would be my biggest bet to succeed as there are so many leagues and tournaments, i am sure all will like it.
8724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pyszne.pl Starts Accepting Bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 08:58:51 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/polands-largest-food-delivery-website-restaurants-starts-accepting-bitcoin/

Wonder if DoorDash and competitors will follow? Seems like a smart move.

Hahaha this days, I feel that each and every company who doesn't want to spend money on marketing has just to put up that's it's accepting Bitcoins, it gets free marketing, and this is actually really very good cause if a Poland company can accept, who knows Starbucks, Mac d and all also follow suit this would be incredibly nice. I feel this is a good news amid all news that coming Bitcoins way.
8725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the bitcoin run out? on: June 27, 2017, 08:50:50 AM
i'm not sure but it will happen!

Hmm don't know but I don't think any one of us will even be alive to see it, simply Bitcoin is being adopted at a rapid phase, and I don't think that it shall end anytime soon, so for that matter I don't see Bitcoin death anytime soon, but then again there only 21 million Bitcoins available so once they are mined out, will determine what actually happens till then it's a wait and watch.
8726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bloodbath on: June 27, 2017, 06:19:26 AM
Now is the time to buy the dip and fill yer bags.

I feel there shall be further dip as we head to the august 1st Count down, I am expecting it to go below 2k and then bounce back to 2.5k so I would suggest to hold back your buying spree and buy when it breaks 2k. Though it's seems like it has formed some kind of resistance I feel it will yet fall, so let's see what happens if it falls or It doesn't in any scenario, I don't think right now is good call for buying, wait and watch.
8727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which website do you recommend for starter gambler? on: June 26, 2017, 12:12:42 PM
hi i am new to bitcoin gambling and looking to make some quick cash, which website do you recommend for me to go gamble? thanks

There are many scams sites so it's good to see that you are verifying, so I would suggest you signature site, Bitdice simple, and easy to use. It's the best site I have played on and I don't think anyone has a complaint against it. Then you could try primedice and rollio that's the only sites I ever recommend cause played on these three only.
8728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Based on People's Faith on: June 26, 2017, 10:34:36 AM
I was researching and reading a certain Whitepaper from a good token project and this statement really struck my thinking:

"With no government or “anchor” backing up cryptocurrencies, the only foundation that cryptocurrencies have is people’s faith in their value. In other words, solely the market mechanism determines the price of cryptocurrencies. At my time of writing, that faith is worth is over $2000 per Bitcoin and this doesn’t spur from the Bitcoin’s intrinsic value, but from what it allow users to do."

In this case, what will happen when that same trust from Bitcoin holders can be diminished or for heaven's sake be gone...would that be the end of Bitcoin?

This also  lead me to the question: is Bitcoin really a store of value or more of a medium where our trust is plastered on?

I am bit amazed actually, you do research read papers and you don't know a simple concept of demand and supply. Bitcoin rises when it's in demand and supply is less or some major event happens, like Japan accepted it and rest is history, now it will fall if it supply exceeds demands. It is important to understand basis first, before reading papers, you can even head to the economic section you will enlighten yourself a lot.
8729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin savings account? on: June 26, 2017, 09:47:12 AM
Is there any upcoming project that would act like a bitcoin savings account?

I don't think there is but there is yet a way you can earn interest, however I would like to clarify that I have not used it, nor do I know anyone who has, but the site is trusted so I am suggesting. The site is called freebitco.in, you need to register there and deposit your Bitcoins there, and they pay a interest to you. You will find all the details on the site, however don't go for the bonus, or lottery tickets. Just use it as a wallet and get interest 4.08% yearly interest.
8730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: June 26, 2017, 09:12:22 AM
So my initial plan was to invest more into bitcoin on a weekly basis but with the possibility of a split on August 1st I figured I'd wait a little. If there would be a split, there would certainly be a drop in price so maybe a good opportunity to pick some more up rather than doing it now. Normally I tend to make these kind of decisions for myself but since I don't fully understand what will happen August 1st I figured this would be the best place to ask.

Well Firstly secure your coins, using private keys then I feel defer your purchases is a sensible ideas, cause what may happen on August 1st is sure to change the course of Bitcoins forever. I don't know if coins price will drop or will it suddenly shoot up its best not to make a investment now, rather wait for the future and it's hardly days now so I believe you should not make a purchase, or keep on observing and see if prices fall then go for it.
8731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you keeping your crypto records? on: June 26, 2017, 09:03:08 AM
It occurred to me that if I wanted to get rid of everything I'd be liable for capital gains and if The Man wanted to know the origins of those funds I'd better get my house in order as it's rather convoluted.

To those ends I've dug out all the old private keys I could find, noted forum posts for giveaways and taken screenshots of exchange histories to show to my tormentors.

Say if something like Byteball really did end up ginormous that's a lot of money for nothing coming from a mystery origin unless you have some sort of paper trail such as your forum posts or wallet backup.

Are many people here doing the same thing? It may pay off a long way down the line so it's worth a few hours of notation and tucking those things away.

So basically you are worried that the taxman will be coming to haunt you that you had been trading in Bitcoins and that you did not pay your taxes, I don't think I am worried as there was no law that I had to pay taxes and I am not going to pay taxes, as simple if I wanted to, I would not buy Bitcoin. Even if we hide all the history, our IP address can be traced back to us any way to get rid of that. I keep on deleting from my mail box Bitcoins mail. That's the only thing I know.
8732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Won't Believe This Stupid New Law Against Cash And Bitcoin on: June 26, 2017, 04:27:17 AM
Quote
Recently a new bill was introduced on the floor of the US Senate entitled, pleasantly,

“Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017.”

You can probably already guess its contents.

Cash is evil.

Bitcoin is evil.

Now they’ve gone so far to include prepaid mobile phones, retail gift vouchers, or even electronic coupons. Evil, evil, and evil.
These people are certifiably insane.

Among the bill’s sweeping provisions, the government aims to greatly extend its authority to seize your assets through “Civil Asset Forfeiture”.

Civil Asset Forfeiture rules allow the government to take whatever they want from you, without a trial or any due process.

This new bill adds a laundry list of offenses for which they can legally seize your assets… all of which pertain to money laundering and other financial crimes.

Here’s the thing, though: they’ve also vastly expanded on the definition of such ‘financial crimes’, including failure to fill out a form if you happen to be transporting more than $10,000 worth of ‘monetary instruments’.

Have too much cash? You’d better tell the government.

If not, they’re authorizing themselves in this bill to seize not just the money you didn’t report, but ALL of your assets and bank accounts.

They even go so far as to specifically name “safety deposit boxes” among the various assets that they can seize if you don’t fill out the form.

Oh, and on top of civil asset forfeiture penalties, there are also criminal penalties.

Right now according to current law they can imprison you for up to FIVE YEARS for not filling out the form. Five years.

But apparently that doesn’t go far enough to protect us against evil men in caves.

So this bill aims to double the criminal penalty to TEN years in prison.

And if that weren’t enough, this bill also gives them with new authority to engage in surveillance and wiretapping (including phone, email, etc.) if they have even a hint of suspicion that you might be transporting excess ‘monetary instruments’.

Usually wiretapping authority is reserved for major crimes like kidnapping, human trafficking, felony fraud, etc.

Now we can add cash to that list.

It’s not just government spy agencies to worry about, either.

Banks in the US are already unpaid government spies, required by law to fill out suspicious activity reports on their customers.

Then Congress started expanding those requirements to include other businesses and industries that might come into contact with cash.

Stock brokers. Casinos. Currency exchanges. Precious metals dealers. Pawnbrokers. The Post Office.

According to the law (section 5312 of US Code Title 31), those industries are also required to spy on their customers for the government.

But under this new bill, they want to forcibly recruit even more unpaid spies, including any business which issues or redeems ANYTHING that’s prepaid.

Prepaid credit cards. Prepaid phones. Prepaid retail gift cards. Prepaid coupons.

So, Amazon.com, which issues and redeems prepaid gift cards, will be required under this bill to file reports to the government.

For that matter, TGI Fridays and Chuckee Cheese will also become unpaid government spies since they both issue and redeem prepaid vouchers.

Truly these Senators have figured out how to strike at the heart of ISIS.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-14/you-wont-believe-stupid-new-law-against-cash-and-bitcoin

US banks and governments showing once again they oppress innovation and progress and work hard to keep people from succeeding at their dreams or ambitions.

Will russia pass a similar bill I wonder? What of japan, canada or australia? I think they will be pressured to pass similar bills in the days to come.

This may only affect the united states as only americans are heavily armed and globalists seem to focus more on the USA for that reason.

This doesn't make any sense and it will be a stupidest idea if this bill is allowed to be passed, I don't think any senator or the government will even dare to pass this kind of bill. If let's say this bill does gets passed it shall create chaos across entire country. I think people will take it to streets if this bill is allowed to pass, I believe it shall be shot down.
8733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to pass on your bitcoin inhertance on: June 25, 2017, 07:50:54 AM
Lets face it HBB (hit by a bus) can happen any time

what is you mechanism or plan to inherent you BTC to your loved ones?

particularly if they are not IT literate.

In my view A person could easily loose your coins in so many ways if you do not understand what you are doing.

So basically you are saying that what happens when some one passes away and his loved one does not know about his coins. One way I feel, is to let the closed ones know that one has Bitcoins. Secondly then give them a demo how to recover them in case anything happens. However hide the private key and leave clues to find it. That's the only way.
8734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLEASE SIGN THE AMAZON BTC PETITION on: June 25, 2017, 07:01:36 AM

I don't think so Amazon will accept bitcoin anytime soon, as much as we all like Bitcoins we keep forgetting, only Japan is allowing to be used freely, rest have not restricted it but no official word on it. Then the issue of commission that seller and Amazon will have say they sold it when prices were low, but had to pay commission when prices were high, to many points, I don't think they are equipped to handle Bitcoin but good luck with your petition who knows it may actually give them food for thought.
8735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin started taking capsule hotels in Japan on: June 25, 2017, 05:06:54 AM
As the Japanese government acknowledged Bitcoin, more companies in the country are beginning to accept crypto currency as payment. Among them there are several popular Japanese capsule hotels.
Based in Tokyo, the Anshin Oyado Hotel, run by the Sanza Group, became the first capsule hotel hosting Bitcoin

If we ever were to write the history of Bitcoins I feel Japan would features high on it. They have single handedly taken Bitcoin and brought it every where, has helped the price shoot up and while we always spoke of Chinese holding a lot of hash what did they do, nothing, in fact due to the clampdown on exchanges the prices had tanked, I so want to travel to Japan cause it's is a beautiful country also now it's cost effective cause they accept bitcoins.
8736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ALIBABA TO ACCEPT BITCOIN BEFORE AMAZON & OTHERS on: June 24, 2017, 02:01:44 PM

Alibaba should be the next global giant to accept Bitcoin according to 4,500 participants in a survey this week.

52 percent of respondents to the survey by Digital Currency Group creator Barry Silbert believe the Chinese marketplace is next in line to embrace the virtual currency.

Other options included Amazon (31 percent) and Google (12 percent), while only five percent of those answering on Twitter believed Facebook would be the first of the group to get serious about Bitcoin. According to Barry Silbert

For a moment I was like I should make my purchase from Alibaba, but no lol, I think whoever does accept it, will be a master stroke cause it will open a whole new audience to them, and it shall take them places. I am yet waiting for one of them to make a change and accept it, it's kind of strange that they have yet not implemented it.
8737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 24, 2017, 08:38:05 AM
I can't believe that Manchester United just let Harrop walk away, those of you don't remember he's the guy who scored hatrick in non leage game  and a goal on his debut today the club let's him go for free and then later pay 100 Millon for him. I do hope Fabinho, Morarota, Persic, wanted Bakayoko but I guess we will have to settle for matic. I hope they finalise all the deals soon. The waiting is irritating. Sad to see Januzaj leave, he has the talent, he is the next ronaldo and yet he can't stay, I wish his deal cancels and he stays at the club and improves.
8738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market crash on: June 24, 2017, 08:29:09 AM
I'm just curious. What if bitcoin and any other alts market fall and you invested all your money into this. Would you rather do Panic Selling? and How would you compensate all your losses?

Why do I feel op you have bought your coins at a high price, anyways to your questions well it's a possibility it can fall, there nothing you can do about it. No one wise enough would do panic sell, instead they would move on and leave Bitcoins as it is, or even accumulate more. This is actually hard how to compensate, you can't do much except wait for the prices to be back that's the only option.
8739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: June 24, 2017, 08:25:58 AM
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

Have you heard of the story of a 12 year old kid who wagered with his mom that if he will be a millionaire at age 18 he will not go to college. To his mothers surprise he is now a millionaire and never went to college. His secret he bought bitcoin at 12$ with a 1000 $ gift from his grandmother.

If we also dream of getting rich in the future it is now time to invest in bitcoins. Many said that we will be experiencing bubbles more often, that is true but we have survived it and still bitcoin keeps moving on.

If we want to get rich invest in bitcoins today. The price of bitcoin today is at 2600$ and moving up but imagine its value 5 to 10 years from now.

Yes this boy story is unique and really inspiring, I don't know how he arrived at his calculation but he made the best decision of his life and I am very happy for him. Well I partially agree with you that it's the best time to invest, I prefer not to go whole in, I would say buy small or in bits at every fall and continue doing so you build a average, once you buy a whole coin it can be a pain if it looses value, but then people will say it can gain to. I would stick to my perspective.
8740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Google Bought Blockchain.info on: June 24, 2017, 05:14:35 AM

Considering it was posted by a legendary member, I am bit surprised to see that op choose not to read the link, it clearly says Google investment arm and not Google, for a matter of fact this are two different entities and putting the title as Google only helped them sold the article, op should have read it in full. Though it's good Bitcoin us getting recognition, I hope it shows some positive results and Bitcoin price shoots up.
