8741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Myths and facts about gambling addiction on: May 17, 2016, 12:28:31 PM
I don't believe in everything OP said. It can be true for some people, but OP cant generalize things. Its individual thing, and tastes are different.
In this world, system everyone have some addiction. And everyone thinks that their addiction is better. Well I don't agree with that way of thinking.
Live and let other people live. As I see reality is that people who don't gamble talk more about gambling then gamblers.
Reality is that in every other case of addiction fighters against it talk more then addicts.
If people above don't like to gamble what are you looking in gambling section?
So you people have nothing better to do then to preach around the forum. Find something better to do...

Something better like finding passion and love... what ever that is I will respect your wish. Why its hard for you people to respect others?
8742  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 17, 2016, 06:33:09 AM
I see majority don't believe in such fall in bitcoin price. Everyone is waiting for halving and price to go up. I think the same, price will go up.
And I don't wait something like that for sure, for me price of bitcoin is very good. We are rising, slowly but rising. I think that is fine, I`m satisfied with that. I will try to earn on other ways and not on bitcoin price fluctuation. I think with this thread OP wished to say how we all wish some fast earning. Well I wish it, but in gambling not with btc price.
8743  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.01 BTC June 1 Prediction Competition! on: May 16, 2016, 11:49:19 PM
During times of slow price movements let's have some fun!

What is your USD price prediction for June 1, 2016? Post them below!

0.01BTC to the closest guesser! (BitfinexUSD @ 12 pm GMT)

501.7 $ is my prediction. I think I`m a bit optimistic with this prediction but I will try anyway, my lucky numbers and some feeling say me that I will be very close to this prediction.

8744  Economy / Services / Re: I've created most easy way to earn bitcoins from your photos, need feedbacks. on: May 16, 2016, 04:52:04 PM
This really sounds like a good idea, I can understand the concept and this can work good. But I think you will have problem with people who upload pictures from internet. Of course you can say that person that uploaded photo is responsible for that, but its your site you give permission.
So if you find a way to solve that problem you will have more chances for success.
I also think that porn and just adult photo would be much better for this type of service. Its my taste, if I would pay it would be for something like that. I will follow this thread to see the progress. I wish you good luck.
8745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Loss Ever. on: May 16, 2016, 04:13:58 PM
I am curious what was you biggest loss in a bet.

Mine was 0.2 BTC in 1 minute.  Angry Angry Angry

Mine for now is 0.8 in 30 minutes or less. I started with 0.1 and had so big luck. But in the end very bad loosing streak and I was back on 30. It was on Caribbean poker, then cause I was nervous put 30 mbtc on red and lost. But all in all it was great gambling, with such great hands. I played for hours and few times was on 0.5 then back on 0.15 then again big rise.
Gambling is that, sometimes we win sometimes we lose. But I blame my self cause I didn't run away in right time, I still need to learn when to stop.
8746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos: “Bitcoins Belonging to Satoshi Should Be Destroyed” on: May 16, 2016, 10:36:04 AM
Am I the only one who thinks that the idea of destroying someone's money is frightening? Just imagine all the huge negative exposure Bitcoin would attract.

You are not only one. I see many agree with that and its topic we don't need to open at all, cause it will lead us in wrong way.

So there is two possibilities here:

1. To stay in that wallet locked forever?

2. Or to be stolen?

In both cases I think there is no reason for fear. In first case it can be considered like there will be 20 mil. coins not 21. In second one what can thief do? Spent it in some casino or open one? Cash it out? Someone will buy that coins and they will be in safe hands... Its a lot of money but someone will need to spent it I guess.

Few days ago I was reading here in some thread how many people are involved in bitcoins and how many of them are active. Someone said 2 - 3 million people and I don't remember how much active, around 30 %. So Theymos can share on equal parts. Almost everyone will get 1 btc.

8747  Economy / Services / Re: Want to earn Bitcoin on: May 16, 2016, 07:29:08 AM
There is old proverb in my country, I will try to translate it : " Smart person don`t need advice, and it`s not worth to give advice to a fool."

In this case ( like in many others here ) instead of reading and informing him self, OP decided to ask very old question here. So I think it doesn't matter how good advices we give to him there is high chance that he will not even look at it. I started from faucets, claimed 50 satotshis per captcha sometimes, I was trying to make some money from faucets on dices ( so I claim free satoshis 200 at primedice, 1000 on pocketdice... ).. I watched service section for every job that I can do to earn 10 000 satoshis or if I`m lucky more... games and roundns section for different giveaways. Sometimes I had a headache from so much new information`s.

So there is a way, but OP need to go step by step. Good things doesn't fall from the sky. Everyone fish for magic formula, but for that magic you need to work, work, work.... if you are improving yourself each day your chances will be higher. Its like that for everyone.
8748  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: May 16, 2016, 04:45:27 AM
I have $100,000 to invest but want to safely double it in a year. Any suggestions?

I doubt that you have that money, person with that amount wouldn't ask others what to do with that amount. And even if OP have it, asking for free ideas is not ao good idea. This look more like advertise for scammers to come and scam him. Be fair and pay for good and safe idea, in that way there is more chances that investment will be successful.

For me investing in btc would be safest option, of course not with all amount. Never go all in, but with decent amount you can earn good. I believe its still good time for buying.

Next time pay some professionals for idea, you will look much more serious.
8749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: May 15, 2016, 09:32:52 PM
Bitcoin has been steadily rising. It already beat up the $400 mark and it seems to be going up to beat the $500 mark. Do you believe we will see it before the end of the year or not?

Thoughts anyone?

I thing bitcoin have power for even more then 500 $ until the end of the year, roughly prognosis is around 700 $. There is more then one reason why price need to grow up, halving, more active people, new sites that accepts bitcoin as payment. Even we have Japan and news that they will legalize btc. I think things are going very good this year for bitcoin community. And I don't see what can change that.

I have in mind that everything is possible, good and bad things can happen. But I will hope for the best and I will try to contribute to this community as much as I can.
8750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My computer have just been hacked for BITCOIN ransom! on: May 15, 2016, 08:08:25 PM
You should never have important information on a windows machine. If you can't afford 2 computers (because only total isolation is safe) you can just get constant backups on your usb pendrive of any sensible data, so if some fucker encrypts your computer you just have to format it and they will get nothing out of it. Also install malwarebytes anti ramsonware software.

Most people use Windows; OSX and Linux are the minority, it would be helpful to list ways to secure Windows best as possible. I will start the discussion if you are using Windows. If you are using Windows 7 the best advice I can give you is not to update to Windows 10. Stick with Windows 7 for improved privacy.

1) Use Firefox, not Windows Explorer or Chrome. Go to Tools > Addons > Plugins and disable Shockwave Flash to prevent malware delivered by Flash banners. At the minimum use uBlock Origin extension to block all other ad banners.

2) Use a top rated security suite like Kaspersky Total Protection. Even with Kaspersky use good hygiene. Never click on links or banners in emails or heaven forbid open an attachment. Even friends can pass on a virus or trojan by forwarding a bad email. Most malware is delivered by email, not websites.

3) If you have more than a few bitcoin use a hardware wallet like Trezor.

4) Make a system restore disc and store safely in case you have to reformat your hard disk and restore from a backup. Get a 2-5 TH backup drive so you have plenty of space for multiple backups and backup weekly.

I upgraded my windows 2 months ago and after using it 10 day I reinstalled lap top completely and return it to fabric settings. And I stayed there cause to much bed things with windows 10 happened to me.

I like you other advices, I also use firefox, have nice security, anti virus and anti malware . I don't have so much coins, but bigger part is in Trezor.. and I have several online wallets that I use for gambling and everyday transactions.

If something like this happened to me, I wouldn't pay ransom and that is my advice for OP. You have your files that is important, now start again but with better security. There is nothing else what you can do except to be more careful in the future and not let same thing happen again.
Of course paying ransom will give more power to this little criminals. They will try to do It again, so don't give them that feeling. Cut them in root`s.
8751  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 15, 2016, 04:03:32 PM
Be careful of E-coin. They imposed 3-workday waiting period for withdrawal without any warning.

Good to know that, its a bit long if you need to wait always for  3 days.

Very nice list, nice that someone made it. I know its not easy so thank you very much. I still don't have debit card. I didn't need it before, but it can be useful thing to have.

Looks like that shift is very good, my friend have xapo and he is very satisfied with that card. I have their wallet so I think maybe to try them first. Well I will wait with that, I don't hurry nowhere.
8752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be stable in 2020 on: May 15, 2016, 11:11:14 AM
Hm. I think it will not be stable on my own opinion ,because the exchange is always fluctuating the market value .the more users of bitcoins ,the more tendency that bitcoin will be more become higher amount , just like our fiat currency is fluctuating .

That is the real world, and future will be like that for sure. So depends from definition of stability we can even now say that bitcoin is stabile.
Normally more people join safer currency will be, but bitcoin is going in good direction for now. That is most important thing, of course there will be problems some bigger then other what we can do is to be prepared for that, and not to quit on first sight of big problems coming.
If until end of 2020 bitcoin have at least double more followers ( and I expect more ) we will have chances for going really high.
8753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌟Thoughts on investing then gambling🌟 on: May 15, 2016, 10:04:35 AM
Like someone said, keep it simple. You wish to invest in some casino, for example. And later you think to go to same casino to gamble.

So lets focus on big win: If you win big, money would be gathered from investors ( some percent`s from you also ) and paid to you so you will have profit from big win, and eventually some little loss from investing in casino.

But if you lose then part of your lost will go to you back cause you invested in that casino..

I don't think that can work. Only good thing about it is like you said you will not lose 100 % cause in one moment you will receive money from investing in casino. What are you doing is nothing more then rotating money, and in that I think you will have more loses then winnings.
8754  Economy / Services / Re: I WANT TO WORK AS CAPTCHA TYPER!! on: May 15, 2016, 01:47:16 AM
Hello everyone,i have at least 4-5 ours free for day to work. My rate is 100 captchas/ 0.40 $
PM who is interested!

You rate is very high, I don't believe you can find so high paying captcha service. And if there is such service they are not searching for people, people go directly to them.
Anyway don`t you think its better to play free roll poker tournaments on several sites for better money? After that you can try your luck on several good casinos ( you have one nice one ) with nice deposit bonus.. You can`t make threads and wait for luck to come, you need to search it and grab it.
8755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 15, 2016, 12:05:41 AM
My favorite game is roulette on a live screen, its just so exciting to do it live and its also that you can make good profits with it.
That's good for you to hear you are enjoying the game, it should be that way when we gamble. Anyway, for me I like sports betting because it is more exciting and it needs me to wait for atleast 48 minutes in order to know when your bets have won or lost. I like basketball (NBA) in particular.
Well in dice you even dont need to wait, it happens in one click and you will know the result Cheesy Or if you want to wait the result in longer time, then you could play poker.

Problem with that, is like 1 click, its also 1 click for rage betting..

Like most I know on primedice chat shows, "yolo" mind set since they lost the 90% roll or something.

Even bet on 90% chance to win, you have a high chance to lose too because provably fair. That's why i never bet on dice sites again, better gambling on sports book.

Roulette is a good game, especially live playing. Dice, sports betting, poker I play all but its never just game. Interface is very important.
For example I play Caribbean Poker a lot, mostly on betcoin.tm. and from recently I play on LuckyBTcCasino were playing have totally different interface and I like it.

Depends on the site I like some game more or less. Look and sounds are very important part of every fun we have, so better look and sounds attract more people for sure.

Bet on 90 % looks promising, but 10 % is not little. I played and won hands where I have much less then 10 % to win and I won in the end. So its gambling. Never bet all in, ever never..
8756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: May 14, 2016, 08:41:40 PM
Barcelona won this La Liga this year, congratulations for them and their supporters. Personally I don't like them, my team is A. Madrid. It was interesting season and in the end there was opportunity for surprises. Great games and I hope next year will be even more interesting.

A. Madrid didn't disappointed, 3 place in liga and final in champions league is good result. I hope they will defeat Real Madrid!
8757  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: May 14, 2016, 06:06:07 PM
"In the foreign exchange market and international finance, a world currency, supranational currency, or global currency refers to a currency that is transacted internationally, with no set borders." This is from Wikipedia.

I think bitcoin is international currency, you can exchange it in many countries, you can buy things with it, you can gamble with it... of course have in mind how old is bitcoin and how much progress bitcoin made until now.

I think in future bitcoin can achieve much more then any other currencies until now,anx maybe unite people all over the world in making something good.
8758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their bitcoin on a file, or on paper? on: May 14, 2016, 04:18:05 PM
Online wallet providers like blockchain.info make occasional mistakes that could result in your Bitcoins getting stolen.

In 2014 a guy by the name of johoe discovered blockchain.info made a programming mistake (reusing R values) that made it easy to calculate the private keys of its user's addresses. He calculated the private keys to all the vulnerable addresses he could find and moved the Bitcoins to a new secure address. Afterwards he contacted blockchain.info and paid them back. If he'd been dishonest he could have stolen those Bitcoins.

Quote
"Every bitcoin transaction is signed by two values – 'R' and 'S' – which prove that the sender knows the private key. If the same R value is used twice, the private key can be easily computed from the signatures alone."

http://www.coindesk.com/good-samaritan-blockchain-hacker-returned-255-btc-speaks/

I didn't heard for this before, actually this is very interesting story. Good samaritan is true headline, 255 bitcoins is very big amount. I wonder did he get some nice prize for his discovery.

With big amounts people should be very careful. I use online wallets for everyday needs and transactions but big stash is hidden somewhere.
8759  Economy / Goods / Re: Use your Bitcoins to purchase anything on DonaldJTrump.com. TRUMP 2016 on: May 14, 2016, 02:37:47 PM
Do you sell "I hate Donald Trump" t-shirts?

I think that one's are sold, they have just " I "heart" Donald ". I don't like politicians of any kind, they ruined this world. Mixing bitcoin donations with them in not good in my opinion.

I think the world is pretty crazy when we start donating money to Billionaires.

You are right, but its like that for centuries. And i understand how that was possible before, but now in information era where people can find truth easily this confusing me.
It looks like people are dumb and thats it, there is no cure for that.

I believe many people give donations for this things, but I wish to believe bitcoin community is a little smarter. I don't think someone will donate bitcoins here.
8760  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price going back to $250??? on: May 14, 2016, 01:27:20 PM
Well, if the price of bitcoin back at a price of $ 250, I think will be very many people who would buy it. it is most likely to occur.

Its much unlikely to happen. The price of bitcoin is on the rising side compared to the days when bitcoin experienced equal increase and decrease. I believe the price won't go that low to $250.

Chances for that to happen are very low, in my opinion 1 %. Of course everything is possible, we see surprises every day. But my bet is not on that for sure, I believe in bitcoin and I hope something like that will never happen.

People just trolling, bitcoin is on the rise and its much better to discuss where will it stop and stabilize. After how long we can expect new rising? Will we need to wait next halving for 4 years for something similar to happen?

I agree with some people, if bitcoin fall under 250 $ many will buy it again and they will buy at large.
