BEWARE - Cryptoknowmics IS A MAJOR SCAMUPDATED on 8th November 2019I checked the first 66 pages of this scam thread and found 484 SCAM USER ACCOUNTS that are associated with Vitor Services pumping for hire or are accounts created specifically to promote this trash Cryptoknowmics project. The project owners and team are based in India but are passing it off as a high-tech company based in London, UK when all they did was pay less than $50 to rent a mailing address to show on their website. You will notice the ~ before each user, this is because if anybody wants to copy and paste them all in to their trust settings it makes it a little easier. I have just now copied and pasted the scam accounts in to my IGNORE list so I do not have to read their trash if I come across their posts in any thread again. I also added official mouthpieces CKM and Cryptoknowmic in that list for promoting trash cryptoknowmics: ~11uang ~AAleks ~acchussein ~aceana28 ~achmadtb ~acintriclawn ~aditya007o ~adityararief ~Afaqad Just found out today that my token I received from bounty long time ago has been listed on hitbtc and tradesatoshi all scammy exchange and I tried to send 1 token to tradesat just for testing how scammy it is until now and confirmed my deposit still not reflected on my balance after 50 confirmations on the blockchain this exchange must be removed from cmc not trusted exchange warning to all. They have taken selective scamming to a new level and if all the complaints were piled up they would probably stack higher than Mount Everest. Why are the authorities not closing them down? I am sure if just a handful of US based citizens reported them to the US authorities then they would shut down the website whether the scammers are based in Europe, Asia or anywhere else.

The price has fallen below $0.28 again but it will hopefully get over the $0.30 mark again soon.

Which would you recommend for fiat trading? That depends on what's available at your jurisdiction, it's hard to recommend anything as almost every exchange suffers from various problems, it's more about picking your poison if you really must deal with fiat. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Absolutely love that poison/fiat analogy And yes, nearly all exchanges suffer from problems one way or another so it is all about selecting one and taking the plunge, so to speak.

I need some advice.
Please could DOGE users give me some advise about which is the best wallet that can be used to securely generate DOGE addresses using xpub key? Is there one out there?

Ah, thanks. Curacao, interesting. Well as a minimum standard many gaming websites show they have some sort of incorporation use Curaçao Licence. In essence, if companies are incorporated in their country of residence they will probably be breaking the law as they will need a casino licence which will probably never be granted to a small company or start-up. Getting a gaming licence from the UK, EU or US for a small company or start-up with small amounts of funding will never happen. Registering a casino in Costa Rica such as when serial scammer Dean Nolan did with betking.io during the ICO in 2017 using an off-shore registrar is easy. So is registering in Curaçao. Neither offer investors or game players any real protection. One of the main things it does for the owners when using Costa Rica and Curaçao is that they remain anonymous, their names and addresses are not made public and are not accessible by anybody. In the EU you can go online and find background information on any incorporation including names and addresses of shareholders. A Curaçao licence does not actually provide any benefit to the end user, this quote in the link below just about sums it up "The greatest disadvantage of a license from Curacao is that it doesn't have much meaning": https://www.gamblingsites.org/laws/curacao/When Bustabit and Bustadice had an issues where some Bitcoin were stolen their owner ensured it was fixed fast and topped up the losses from his own pocket so bankroll investors did not lose out. That sort of behaviour has given Bustabit and Bustadice a great reputation and that reputation of the websites and its owner are a far bigger seal approval than the Curaçao seal.

vlom, Jollygood, mosprognoz - all the same. Spammers and shitposters, they don't care about the rules. but you can't do anything with them as they are big friends of this forum administration.
I believe you are banned, and you said you were leaving the forum? The Mod Log does not show his current user name as being banned, I just checked it but his original Vladdirescu87 account was banned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5168925.0How long can he troll and make a tiny nuisance of himself before he finally gives up or is permanently banned?

He is probably right. The suriving 1% or so will be enough to keep things moving. There are so many trash coins and abandoned projects out there, they have failed anyway. In the long run it might remain easy to launch a crypto but will they add value and have a purpose? I wonder how the concentration of dominance percentages (which currently is around 67% for Bitcoin) will change if anything beyond the top 50 crypto was removed from the equation.

They got me too. I was searching for a thinly traded altcoin. Only listed on 2 exchanges. I signed up for p2pb2b. Passed verification , made my deposit and bought an altcoin. Tried to withdraw, Transaction stuck in “waiting on admin”. Kept checking and status changed to “notifier exception”. Found this post and knew my coins are gone forever. Opened up a b.s. support ticket 2 days ago. No response. Asked chat about it. Got the same msg “wait”. Meantime coin is going up and up. Maybe a month or so I will get my original btc back or purchased altcoin but not counting on it. I’m sure if I do get anything it will be the lower of the values at the time. I have all screen shots if anyone cares. Also I’m down to file claims or forms if anybody starts complaining to the right people. Let me know. Til then. Thanks guys. Wish I would have seen this before I made a deposit. I am sorry to read about you getting scammed by p2pb2b. Please remember that coinsbit is also owned by the same scammers. All users must avoid those exchanges.

Which in your opinion are the best exchanges for crypto-to-crypto (non-fiat) trading that do not require KYC? I think Binance is mostly fine, at least for now (as long as you're not connecting from one of the restricted countries). Bisq isn't bad either but it's a different thing so it's very limited when it comes to volume and available trading pairs. Thank you for the tips. I guess it has to remain Binance for non-fiat trading. The reputation of Bittrex has been battered by several users posting here because of some past irregularities it had including accusation of selective scamming and inflating data and sending to CMC. Which would you recommend for fiat trading?

4.9 billion poured in a few months in a scam, bitcoin receiving pennies at that time... One proof if we needed one more that this world is f up! “It is a great turn-around. Somehow, I knew a day like this would come, my tears have now turned to joy. Our goal is to overtake Bitcoin and we are almost there. We are the new billionaires in town, thanks to our leader Dr. Ruja Ignatova.”
Triple facepalm!!! I think in the press articles I read it implies $4.9 billion as actual funding they received from investors. Right now they say she is in hiding but things will be cleared up as time goes by. What would be the point of having all that money if she looks over her shoulder for the rest of her life knowing she might be arrested if she is discovered.
I doubt anything will be cleared up more than it is already at this moment, the money is gone, the method they scammed is known, almost all the details are already known, what is left is finding her and what is left of the $. But, I doubt any will happen. As for the second part, you will be amazed how many people will take those risks for a few hundred thousand, here we speak of millions. Living a rich life for a few years or spend your entire life in poverty, for some the choice is obvious. I think it will be very difficult to hide billions of USD$. There will be a trail somewhere and the first to pounce on those funds when they are located will be the US authorities. Looking back it is hard to belive that this trash managed to close the gap on Bitcoin to the length it did.

That is common with plenty of projects. They run after investors during the time of the ICO and make promises but as soon as they get the cash they show their true colours.
They make occasional updates saying the team is working hard but they are just dragging out the inevitable. In many cases these types of "projects" were never real in the first place, many were scams because they never intended to make a real business and used the ICO to get rich by fooling investors.

always remember the liquidators are in this for the money, they are looking for profits like flies to shit ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) it is always about the money, just like the founders who quit their jobs before turning this so called "exchange hack"(running away with everyone's money) into a shit show. why is it so hard for cryptopia to just press the "enable withdrawal button"? same with the liquidators, well it is all in front of everybody..LIQUIDATORS ==> LIQUIDATES YOUR COINS. that's why they are called liquidators LOL, they are running the numbers for MAXIMUM PROFIT. Sure it makes sense the liquidators want to maximise their profits. If there was nothing in the pot they would never have taken the job on. I think the more people refusing to send KYC means the greater the share for liquidators and for those investors that did send their KYC.

No, I do not see Emery getting sacked.
Arsenal should look at Manchester United and learn the lesson of what happened after Sir Alex Ferguson left the club. Emery needs time to try and get things going.
