8761  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 29, 2021, 12:25:27 PM
Is it possible that you have entered the costs for "Instant-Withdrawals" here?
I took another look at Bustadice, and you were right. The instant withdrawal option is ticked by default when you open the withdrawal page and I didn't untick it to see how it changes the fees. Thanks for the hint!

just want to add that you missed one of the oldest gambling crypto gambling site which is Primedice.
Thank you, Primedice will be added during the next update.

@Pmalek, did you register on all of these gambling sites, so that you are 99% aware of their withdrawal limits.
Yes. On some of the sites I had accounts before this thread. On the majority though, I didn't. I registered quick throw-away accounts just to check the withdrawal page to find the correct numbers.

I wonder if you could work in some sort of indicator as to whether these are automatic or manually approved withdrawals, along with timeframes for release (e.g. up to 48 hours) if it is relevant.
That would be a great addition as well. I would have to check the payment pages again to see if they mention that anywhere. Thanks!
8762  Other / Meta / Re: Google partial blackholing of Bitcointalk? on: April 29, 2021, 11:29:51 AM
You should be able to find it by googling for substrings:
Yet you can't.  In fact, AFAICT, no substring will make google return anything on the first page of that thread.
DuckDuckGo doesn't return any results either when searching for substrings.
When the below text is placed in quotation marks on DuckDuckGo, it doesn't find anything.
Quote
"All of these radical improvements in scalablity, privacy, and flexibility show up when you realize that "turing complete" is the wrong tool, that what our systems do is verification, not computation."
A search without the quotation marks shows no results from Bitcointalk.

If you put that same text in quotation marks in Google, one of the results will take you to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1361602.840 where one user quoted your text. Still, the correct thread doesn't show up in the search results.

What is weird is that even when you search with "site:bitcointalk.org" and entering a substring like the one below, Google still suggests the other thread that I linked to above and nothing else. DuckDuckGo does much better here as well.
Quote
Deciding if an arbitrarily complex condition was met doesn't require a turing complete language or what not-- the verification of a is in P not NP

With the new forum software being in development, I am certain theymos won't make any major changes on Bitcointalk unless it's related to the security of the board and its members, or directly influences the user experience when browsing the forum.

I can only recommend you try LoyceV's Notification BOT suggested to you by Insanerman. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and it works just fine.
8764  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New Ledger phishing mail targets individual users on: April 29, 2021, 10:41:00 AM
But i wonder if entering email address on the one hcp posted would be good or not because wouldn't they record any email address typed in though even though it says it won't?
That is a possibility, yes. No one can tell you that with certainty. Only the owner of the site can, and he can lie about it. If you think your data has been leeked, make a search to see what exactly is out there. But don't do it just to cure your curiosity.

I received targeting phishing emails a while back... the ones where it say we see your ledger has been logged in russia or some country like that etc.
That's different. Spam mails like that were sent even before the Ledger hack. Have you received the type of emails described in this thread? The ones telling you your assets are at risk, and you need to download a new version of the LL software?
8765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cars That Can Be Purchased with Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 10:32:58 AM
Well, it was possible already 3 years ago to buy (new and used) cars in Romania with Bitcoin. At least one auto dealer, present in a couple of western cities was accepting Bitcoin.
I guess this is the website of that BMW dealer > https://bmw-grupwest.ro/.
It's interesting that the site doesn't show any news that they accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I tried to search with "site:bmw-grupwest.ro crypto" and site:bmw-grupwest.ro bitcoin, but nothing comes up.

while Tesla keeps those bitcoins, what you've seen before were only shops using payment processors and while the payment processor was accepting Bitcoin, the shop received at the end of the day fiat in the bank account.
(Of course, if Tesla starts playing pump and dump games, I don't even know which option is worse...)
In some way, Tesla already did. It maybe can't be classified as a pump and dump scheme, but Musk made a statement the other day where he said that Tesla sold 10% of their Bitcoin bag. They took the opportunity to cash in on the price increase.

I hope that we will reach the point where we can buy chips and other snacks with bitcoin.
You already can if you use the Lightning Network and the store you buy at has a well-connected node. Netherlands is a place where some grocery stores allow their customers to pay via the LN.
8766  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 28, 2021, 10:26:53 PM
One of the good things with stake is that they don't have any minimum deposit amount and if you don't mind using another coin then you can use a third party exchange like Dinabot to convert your bitcoin to alts within the site and withdraw that way to save fees.
Depositing and playing with a small amount is a double-edged sword. Stake will allow you to deposit $1 worth of bitcoin, for example, but you need to bring that sum up to $27 or 0.0005 BTC to make a withdrawal. I haven't checked, but my guess would be that the min. withdrawal amounts are around the same regions for altcoins, am I right? You have to roll that money over many times or gamble with high odds and that's where many lose their money.

Can you consider a column for Bech32 support or Lightning Network support, please?
That could be added but I am not sure how to get that information from the casino. In my experience, some of the customer support reps I have spoken to in the past don't know whether or not the casino they work for supports Native Segwit.

from what I see like its just a Rollbit that does not set a minimum wd limit, I want to try playing there.
But consider that Rollbit had a withdrawal fee of around $25 when I conducted my research. So if you withdraw $30, you only get $5 in your wallet. The rest is used as withdrawal or mining fees.

Is the withdrawal fixed or is it based on how much bitcoin or crypto you are withdrawing?
On Stake, the withdrawal fees are fixed at 0.0002 BTC per withdrawal. It doesn't matter how much you withdraw as long as it's above the minimum threshold of 0.0005 BTC.
8767  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Sport i Kladionica on: April 28, 2021, 10:03:26 PM

Nađem neku pucačinu, odigram i dobijem skoro duplo. Imam oko 0.002 BTC, ali FJ zahtjeva 0.004 BTC za isplatu. Kombinacijom Dice-a i Thimbles-a stignem na preko 0.004 BTC i dignem skoro $200 na freebetu.
8768  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 28, 2021, 03:32:42 PM
I know it's just about BTC but how about considering tagging a site with other crypto withdrawal options aside from BTC? Then from there, the users will do the research about the fees.
That remains a possibility and something that I can add in the future. it does require plenty of work to go through each site manually and look for the information. Right now I want to compile a big list of trustworthy casinos and sportsbooks, and after that, I can include the requirements when withdrawing with other coins.

If I'm not mistaken on Stake, regardless of the current BTC price or current network fee, it will stay on BTC0.0002 no matter what.
Yes, that's correct. The fee remains BTC0.0002 no matter what.

If I may suggest to the OP, if he can also add the last updated date underneath or at the top of the table.
So people are aware if it is current or not. As some are changing fees according to the network activity.
Great tip, thank you! Added underneath the table in OP.

And to add also, those free withdrawals come with certain requirements and it depends on the casino.
So you also need to check those requirements as well.
When I make withdrawals from Sportsbet and FortuneJack, they are always free and I don't remember ever having a withdrawal rejected because I didn't fulfil some of their requirements. I do feel like FortuneJack has a ridiculously high minimum withdrawal amount right now.

But all of the money I deposit to the casinos is used when making wagers to make sure there aren't any issues with the rollover.

Minimum withdrawal fees on CryptoGames has been updated. It is currently 0.0005 BTC which is ~ 27 USD. Altcoins also has the same (equivalent to 0.0005 BTC) minimum withdrawal limit.
I am looking at the withdrawal page as I write this and the numbers are exactly the same as I put in the table. There is an adjustable slider that goes from 0.000051 BTC to 0.000255 BTC.
8769  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: sweeping private key - mempool min fee not met on: April 28, 2021, 11:22:29 AM
What fee rate did you use when you constructed the transaction? The mempool looks pretty good right now compared to what we had in the last 10 days. We have had 5 blocks in the last 30 minutes and the required network fees are dropping. Transactions of 11-12 sats/vByte are entering blocks right now, and everything below 4 sats is being purged from the mempools.
8770  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: old electrum.dat cant open on newer version on: April 28, 2021, 11:07:46 AM
Electrum doesn't use .dat files. Bitcoin core does. Are you sure you aren't trying to restore a Bitcoin Core .dat file in Electrum? If you are, that wont work. Do you have your 12-word recovery phrase? You wont need a wallet file if your have the seed. Just download the newest version of Electrum, verify its signatures, and restore it from your seed phrase.

If you insist on trying an older version, you get those here >https://download.electrum.org/.
But you should know that versions older than 3.3.4 are vulnerable to phishing attacks and it's not recommended to use those. Some versions can't even connect to the servers anymore.
8771  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How often Does Nano Ledger Have a Firmware Update? on: April 28, 2021, 10:58:29 AM
Start your Ledger Live client and if there is an update for you, you will see a notification about it under the Manager tab. These firmware updates are rolled out gradually. So, even if an update becomes available to me, it can take several days before you'll get a chance to update your device, and vice versa. If everyone started updating and communicating with Ledger servers at the same time, there would be a huge congestion. Something like that already happened a few months ago when it became almost impossible to download a simple LL software update, and it took days before the problems were resolved.
8772  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger "Data Breach" is very annoying and heart breaking! on: April 28, 2021, 10:51:42 AM
The point is not to let anyone know in public, that you own Bitcoin. Like for example in Facebook, boasting to friends that you are HODLing. It would only attract the attention of scammers, and other criminals, https://fullycrypto.com/did-ledger-hack-lead-to-stockholm-bitcoin-robbery
This is a completely different case from the first one and even though the article suggests that there is no evidence that links the couple to the Ledger hack, I am pretty sure that's how they got targeted. That and the fact they bragged about it over social media. 14 addresses whose owners reside in the same suburb could mean that more robbers start observing that place.

Šta radite ljudi, kladili se ovdje iko?
Evo još jedna tema vezana za klađenje i kasino igrice. Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos.
Istraživao sam koliko kripto kasina naplačuju svoje usluge povlačenja sredstava na privatne novčanike, i koji su minimalni iznosi koji se mogu poslati. Koga zanima neka pogleda.

Prijedlozi i kritike su uvijek dobrodošli.
8774  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 25th Word in Nano Ledger S on: April 28, 2021, 10:33:29 AM
How long ago did ledger had this recovery check app?
It doesn't really matter. If you trust Ledger with your coins and you use their native apps you can trust them in regards to the Recovery App as well.

Well right now... how much does it cost to send btc from nano ledger s address to a new address?  I know you can configure fees but the lowest fee is like how much now?
That changes all the time and with each newly mined block. Just use https://mempool.space/ before you want to send any bitcoins. Use the high priority recommendation if you are in a hurry, or the medium/low priority if you can wait a few hours or days. Please don't ask how much you will have to wait, that also depends on the state of the mempool.

Right now, at 12:29 CET, you can get a next block confirmation for 14 sats/vByte. At the time this post is finished and posted, those conditions can change.
Aaand we just found a new block, so you can get your transaction into the next one for just 11 sats. That's why it doesn't make sense asking what the current fee rate is and reading about it 2 days later when things can change within a few minutes.
8775  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New Ledger phishing mail targets individual users on: April 28, 2021, 10:14:22 AM
But its for sure putting your email here won't do anything bad to it right?
Security-wise, nothing can happen to your email address if you enter it there or on sites like haveibeenpwned. It might not be the best thing to do from a privacy perspective. Whoever created the site can connect anyone who enters his email there as being an owner of a Ledger device. Why else would you search his database?

Have you received targeted phishing emails already? If you have, your data has probably been leeked. If not, no reason to search the database because if your info was public somewhere, I doubt you could have gone this far without receiving some kind of crap. What this source can show you is if only your email got leeked, or more of your private info.
8776  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 28, 2021, 10:03:15 AM
There are plenty of replies and questions, so I will try to read and address them one at a time.

Did JacksClub.io started charging withdrawal fees? I thought they were free.
Yes, they now charge withdrawal fees as shown in the table in OP.

You can also add Gamdom.com since it was free the last time I checked.
I overlooked Gamdom, thanks for the tip. I will take a look at what they offer and update it in the table.

Other casinos that doesn't charged but it's limited and users must meet conditions in some cases,
1. NitrogenSports - once per week
2. OneHash - once per week
I didn't want to include NitrogenSports due to their negative ratings by members of this forum. OneHash is on the list.

Acedbets should be removed from this list because they are totally unreliable and there are many issues with people unable to withdraw anything from their website.
They are no longer active in bitcointalk forum and they don't reply to messages and questions about anything.
I wasn't aware of that. I checked their trust rating, and all they have is a neutral rating mentioning problems with withdrawals. I wonder why they aren't negatively rated if it's a serious problem. Does anyone else feel that Acedbets doesn't belong on the list and should be removed?

1) Are the information up to date?
All the numbers were taken from the withdrawal or payment pages of each individual casino or based on the info given by customer care representatives. If the info on the sites and that provided by customer support is wrong, so is the data in the table.
2) Why would it be free to withdraw fund from a casino when an exchange site don't even do that?
It's one way to incentivize more players to play there. The casinos profit plenty from players who lose every day so they can afford to cover the cost of withdrawals.

@Pmalek, since you add "adjustable" on roobet then you should also add it on duelbits since I believe that duelbits withdrawal fee is also depending on network congestion but I have to admit that the fee is still higher than most other casinos.
The fee changes constantly, but there is a difference between the two casinos you mentioned. Roobet allows the player to select the fees himself. They have a few options like slow, normal, and quick confirmation times. Duelbits doesn't have that. They only have one dynamic fee that changes depending on the state of the mempool. Hence the difference in the wording in my table.

I will check and address the other questions a bit later.

Thanks!
8777  Economy / Gambling / [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 27, 2021, 06:03:10 PM
Several elements make up the perfect crypto casino. Having low withdrawal amounts and preferably no transaction fees are two crucial features. In this thread, I have made a table showing the minimum bitcoin withdrawal amounts on popular crypto casinos and how much they charge their players for bitcoin withdrawals.

You will notice that some casinos are highlighted in either green or red colouring. The sites with the lowest withdrawal limits are in green, and those with the highest are in red. The casinos with the lowest withdrawal fees are highlighted in green, while those who charge the most are in red.

This is not betting advice or recommendation on what platforms to gamble on. Do your own research before using any of the mentioned sites.

- If you notice any mistakes, feel free to comment, and I will correct them.
- Casinos with negative trust ratings were not considered. Relatively new and unproven platforms likewise.
- All data was taken from the official websites, either the payment pages or based on the information given by customer support.
- Some of the casinos are based on BTCGOSU’s Top GOSU Bitcoin Casinos in April 2021.
- Both casino withdrawal fees and bitcoin network fees were considered when calculating the total withdrawal fees.

A bitcoin block has a weight limit of 4.000.000 weight units (WU). To understand how much your transaction "weighs", simply multiply your virtual size times 4. For the two transactions you made, the first one weighs 5328 WU and pays 30.0 sat/vByte while the second one weighs only 884 WU and pays 147.7 sat/vByte. Miners will always prioritize the second one because it pays more per vbyte and they have more free space to include other transactions.

In my town, we have a taxy service that drives around on the boulevard. They charge a fixed fee per person for each drive on the boulevard. That means that each person pays a fixed fee and the ride isn't exclusive for you. The driver can pick up additional people along the boulevard. If the drive is $5, one person pays $5, if two people enter the cab, they pay $10 in total, etc., you get the point. You have limited capacity in a taxy (that's your weight unit) and it's in your interest, as the driver, to fill it up and get paid as much as possible every time you drive.

Now you have two options.
You can take that tall and fat dude who will take up your entire backseat (he represents your 5328 WU transaction), or you can pick up that skinny teenager who weighs 884 WU. If you go for the fat dude, you wont have any more space on the backseat. Even if he pays $6 or $7 for the ride, it pays off more to drive the teenager for $5 because you know that along the way you will stop for more potential clients who will have room in the backseat and increase your earnings to $10 or $15. That is why miners will rather mine the 2nd of your two transactions because they know they will have much more space to include other transactions and earn more overall.
8779  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Which option do I choose to get an address to send btc to myself? (see pics) on: April 27, 2021, 01:15:55 PM
When you generate a new receiving address in Electrum, the software knows not to generate a change address for you, so don't worry. The addresses on your screenshot seem to be normal addresses. You can see your change addresses if you click on the change button. I think Electrum initially creates 6 change addresses. Nothing happens to the funds sent to a change address even if you gave it to someone to pay you. They have a different derivation path, but you have access to everything through your recovery seed.

Home robberies happen every day. Nothing in the article suggests that the bandits knew that he owned cryptocurrencies. We can't rule that out, and that possibility remains open. But it's equally possible that they went in there and took everything that had any value (like Lucius pointed out) or was tucked away somewhere as protection from prying eyes. Going by the logic: If he stored it away here, it must have some value.

The owner was also forced to revel his PIN code and one of the robbers was later videotaped withdrawing cash from an ATM. That can mean they either have no idea what does keys they took are, or they have the recovery phrase, they know what it is, and they didn't need to ask the owner any questions about it.
