UAE win just banged all my expectations and that's due the poor Australian performance , I said it before I don't like how both of these teams play but didn't expect Australia to be that bad and waste qualifying for the next

what I'm annoyed about the most is that I thought my outright for Qatar to be the best west Asian team won since UAE is the last other west Asian team
I still think that Qatar is better but now it's too much risk for me since surprises happen a lot in this competition , I may have to hedge and bet UAE to qualify to the final

now it seems that Iran is the clear favor to win it all judging but the qualifiers and how all of them played , I may take Iran to win the title if odds went to over X2.20
Could you imagine the odds for the ones who took both underdog teams for today?
Qatar was at 4.75x odds before the match started and UAE must of been over 11x odds pre live.
I bet live after they scored at the 68' mark and got 1.5x odds.

South Korea is one of the most strongest football team in Asia, they even managed to beat Germany 2-0 in the world cup held in Russia, I am pretty sad to see South Korea getting eliminated from the Asian Cup tournament, but Qatar did indeed scored an amazing goal from long range and I believe it truly caught the South Korea goalkeeper by surprise.
South Korea is a good team but comparing it to the 2018 German team is biased. Germany performance was just shameful in the last World Cup.
For UAE and Australia it is draw until the moment +65' with an Australian possession >60%. The Qatari scenario could happen again?
That has got to be the worst goal in the entire competition Australia just gave up to the uae.
Kruse passed it to the goalkeeper but it ended up on a uae defender and he scores an easy one.
It is just a shock to everyone Australia hasnt been able to put one in the net.
Didnt they score 6 - 0 against oman at the beginning of this competition?

What happened to the uae player at the last minute of regulation?
It looked like he snapped his neck during that header with the australian defender.

The S.Korea goal keeper did underestimate qatars striking force when put in the right position.
It skipped the ground but Aziz aimed for the g.k left corner all the way from the point of contact.
Totally caught him off guard then it smooth sailing to the victory because of their well known capability of spending as much time with falling to ground with the slightest touch.

There was a player going from a ligue team Nantes to Cardiff city.
On route to England his plane crashed.
Did anyone hear about this?
Tragic situation. It was a him and the pilot that were lost en route.
The plane has not been found yet since I think it happened mid week.

Qatar made history today qualifying for the semi final , I knew they will play good football and as expected Korea didn't dominate the game as bookies expected
won both of my bets and my outright bet is looking better and better , it will officially win if Australia was able to knock out UAE but if somehow UAE managed to qualify I can make a hedge next game and still secure nice profits

moving to the next game , to be honest I hate how both of UAE and Australia play and both teams were really overrated in the past games against weaker opponents
UAE defense isn't strong so betting on Australia to score at least 2 goals may be good (X2.17 sportsbet odds ) since Australia usually creates a lot of chances

to be honest I don't like this game or this bet a lot , but going for it just to enjoy the game since today secured a lot of profit

Yes I agree with you completely on your assumption on the next match today with Australia going up against the UAE.
Really unpredictable on the result but goals should be a plenty especially from the visitors but the hosts will not go quietly like S.Korea just did.
I saw the odds of the Qatar game and it was 4.74x before the match started and couldnt resist on taking the dark horse team.
Those odds were just to irresistible to pass up and glad you cashed in on the game as well.

Everyone brace yourself for the Australian Open 2019 finals between Nadal and Djokovic.

Djokovic destroys Lucas Poullie 6-2, 6-2, 6-0 setting up a finals shutdown with Rafael Nadal. It will be really hard to pick who's going to win the tournament this year as both of them are in the top of their game specially Nadal. As vella85 and me said before, those young prospect like Tsitsipas and Poullie usually melts down at this kind of big tournaments. Both of them reached the semis but it seems the lack of experienced really shows as the two performed way below of what is expected from them.

Predictions for the finals? Who you got?

Both players that reached the finals are both veterans, so it hard to predict who will win but most likely the one with a good body condition will win. I think Djokovic will win the finals because I think Nadal can't keep up with the pace that Djokovic will give to him.

Good point, and if I'm not mistaken, the last time they face each other is during Wimbledon 2018 semis wherein Djokovic outlasted Nadal in a dramatic fashion. That was the time that Djokovic started his magical run to regain the top spot. But this time its Nadal who is in top form, so I'm expecting another 5 hours match with a lot of momentum shift. I wanna hear other opinions as well.  Grin
5 hours long match! Well it's nice to see. I can't remember when was the last time I have seen a long match. I am interested to see a list of long matches in the tennis history.
I remember watching one of the longest last year with Isner (thought it was Baustia Augt for a minute) which was in a tiebreak and was 16 match points to win it in the fifth set or something like this.
But #5 was none other then Novak Djokovic and Rafal Nadal in 2012 Australian open which took 5 hours and 53 minutes.
https://www.sportskeeda.com/tennis/longest-tennis-grand-slam-matches-off-all-time-history
"Both the players were so tired after the final during the post-match presentation that they were given chairs to sit on. The Spaniard Nadal was up a break in the final set but Djokovic clawed his way back to level the score at 4-4. He broke Nadal in the 5-5 and then served out the match to win the final set 7-5.

Result: Novak Djokovic def. Rafael Nadal 5–7, 6–4, 6–2, 6–7(5–7), 7–5 "

Qatar cant be underestimated.
Watched their match against Iraq and they were solid defense wise. Offense is another subject but they held up good.
Is South Korea a super power in these Asian cup matches cause I have not watched them play yet.

Where have you been? Haha! South Korea and Japan are practically Asian royalty - and if you need a reminder of how well they play despite certain physicalities in height, you only need to rewind to 2018 World Cup to see how doggedly they can take a match.

All the same, I took a Qatar bet only because they are still the darkhorses of this tourney.
I just started watching at the 60 minute of the second half.
And from what I have seen so far South Korea has just been sitting back and not putting pressure on Qatar and thats why they scored at the 80 minute mark and are probably going to win the game.
And just now they are starting to want to score. They dont start to strike in the last minutes of the game?
Not to smart for a team to start doing with a qatar team whom I watched during their last game laying in waiting until they opponents are too tired to do anything.
And now they are leading they know how to waste time by falling to the ground and having their stretcher come on the field in the dying minutes of the game.
That seems to be the smarter team in this asian cup.

I see now why Tottenham hot spurs have over very high odds of winning their match against Chelsea the other day.
8788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 25, 2019, 10:42:08 AM
I didn't really follow ASIAN CUP and yesterday I lost because I bet for Vietnam vs Japan about goals over 2.5, lol. Now I want to try again for South Korea vs Qatar match with the same type of bet, which is over 2.5 with an odds of 2.44 or maybe over 1.5 odds 1.47, because I'm sure Qatar can provide great resistance to South Korea, so I'm not sure of the type of bet ML. Hopefully I'm not mistaken this time.
I wouldnt bet on goals for this match. It is a toss up really.
I went with Qatar to win and with the above person who said they are saying their might be an upset in this match.
I did go with an over for the Australia match going on later today. Those two teams know how to score and the host team will not go down without a fight. I put over 2.5 goals for with 2.39x odds.

Looks like we will see how Pouille can manage with a well rested Djokovic in about an hours time.
Will he end up like Tsitsipas and just be to tired to hold any type of game against the dominant Serb?
This to me is sort of like a finals match in itself.
8791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 25, 2019, 07:10:06 AM
How about Lakers now. Rondo is back and Kuzma cannot score.
Luke Walton might want to separate those two in his line up.
They were doing great without him and the energy is there. Now there is no more. If I were a Lakers player I will try to injure that finger of Rondo again while on the locker room. Grin
They need Lebron and without him the losing streak will continue.
We've seen how they play today, they are very aggressive at the beginning but when the opposing team had a double digit lead, they seem to relax on defense, they're not willing to win in a hard way, they are still very soft so they need a leader who can do all the things needed on the floor.
Well said. And Ingram or Kuzma do not show this quality of a team leader. They are just to young to do it and the time Lebron has been away has shown it. They put Ingram in charge two games ago and they lost. Kuzma isnt a consistent player himself so he is not even considered.
Maybe a Lonzo Ball but he hasnt been around the league long enough to have the experience that comes in being a leader
8792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 25, 2019, 07:05:51 AM
As everyone knows Kawhi Leonard is one of those players which are important for their franchise teams whose contracts are ending after the season is over. Lakers and Lebron are looking for more of these players to join the team.
And with news today has Kawhi buying a home in Southern California.
https://dailyhive.com/toronto/raptors-kawhi-leonard-california-house
It is about two and half hours away from the Staples center but still. It is a possibility he might be picked up by LA on the offseason.
That would be great, Lebron and Leonard playing together make them a tough team to beat.
Unfortunately, these are just rumors, there is no certain information that would link to a close possibility about signing with Lakers.

I agree that this is just a rumour for now. Buying a house in California doesn't mean that Kawhi will instantly move to LA and join the Lakers.

He is doing great in Toronto so it doesn't make sense to move to another team. And the salary cap will be too much as well so I don't think its feasible at this point. Let him enjoy his MVP performance in Toronto and bring the Raptors to the ECF.
Agreed.
There are about 12 other big name players whom are going to be free agents which Lebron and LA are shopping around for.
8793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: January 25, 2019, 06:01:05 AM

Tomorrow's pick

Minnesota Timberwolves -1.5 vs L.A. Lakers  +1.5

Again, I will be betting against the LA Lakers since Lebron is still not playing, also Lonzo Ball had an ankle injury and he will miss this game.
Timberwolves are doing well and I don't mind if they are playing on the road as they just dominated the Phoenix suns on the road, and Lakers is just a little upgrade of Suns with the current line up now, therefore I will not think twice but beat on the wolves.

My Pick - Wolves -1.5 - Let's bank it again.
Nice one yet again!
They beat Rondo and Lakers by 15 points so even those who chose the high odds -5.5 points would of hit.
I wasnt so brave and went with the Twolves win instead.
Good going. Smiley
Looking forward to your next pick!

Damn, after Paul George and Gordon Hayward injuries now major injury again happened in Pacers roster Victor Oladipo: https://www.facebook.com/kamotegamingph/videos/1985114361544446/

I was really hurt about this.
I am a pure Oladipo fan. Darn it. It was his steps trying to stop Siakam. He lost control of his legs and made a bad landing with his knee.
I really hate to see that kind of event.

Since they are one of the best defensive team, it could also affect the bets since Oladipo is one of their stars. I guess we could also use this to our advantage.
The odds will surely change.

They still won the game and the odds didnt change that much since I bet on them in live betting while they were still up over 10 points late in the third quarter.
I'm glad they still managed to pull out the win with the injury to their star player Oladipo. Since the raptors made me lose their last game.
I didnt watch last night game but if the injury was as bad as everybody says it was then I glad I didnt see it when it happened.
I hate seeing these type of serious injuries because they can be career ending at times.

With Russell Westbrook dominating the game and Lillard. Where he told him "He has been busting that ass for years!".
Which was hilarious to watch cause you can clearly see what he said without hearing him(no mics close by) and the look on Lillards face is priceless at the free throw line. Grin

They really have a "word war" since 2011 if Im not mistaken. Westbrook never won on the Portland Trail Blazers arena (Moda) since that year and just broke the curse in their meetup last January 4 (or 5? Im not sure).

Oladipo on his injury: "I just slipped and knew it was serious"

It's a season ending injury I guess and kind of "why??". Pacers is in good track this season sitting on a 32-15 WinLoss record and now this happened.
Westbrook and team are up against the pelicans tonight and the bookies have them for a definite win.
New Orleans played so bad last night against the pistons so I can see why they have them at near level odds for nothing to gain from betting on the thunder.

I've seen Tsitsipas play from middle of last year and if his style of play in the end rounds havent waivered I can see a good match coming up.
He has the energy and good forehand shots to make Nadal think twice of underestimating this greeks lack of experience in the later stages of an open.
Well he lost the first set , tried to get too many free points if you ask me , he should have been more patient but now in the second set he is handling pace of Nadal a bit better but well we all know Nadal . I think this match will end in 3 or max 4 sets in favor of Nadal .

Who else is excited to see Nadal v Djokovic in the finals?
Yes. He crumbled to fast and didnt look like a match in the third set and didnt even win a game in that final frame.
His inexperience this far in a semi finals really did show in the game.
I would really like to see Pouille beat Djokovic because I see his style of play much like Nadal.
This would make for a more interesting finals then the same old Novak being in the finals like he was in every one of them several years ago.

Tomorrow's advance Pick

Denver Nuggets +3 vs Utah Jazz -3

Utah Jazz loss against the Trail Blazers in their previous game, it was a close game but they weren't able to protect their home.
Tomorrow, they will be facing a good team also which in 2 consecutive wins with double digit dominating the Cavaliers and the Bulls, after they got dominated at home by the Warriors.

I'm thinking that Utah Jazz will bounce back and will not gonna allow the Nuggets to give them the 2nd straight loss at home.

Pick is Utah Jazz -3

Oh, I guess here comes another fixture in which we'd have to bet against each other, I'm not sure as to why I'm backing Denver Nuggets on this on though but I'll be going for the Nuggets to win this match.
Good luck bro, if the Nuggets will win you are gonna make a good winning, are you betting on the +3 or the moneyline itself?
Line now is +4 for the Nuggets, that kind of movement is good for the Jazz and OP were able to take it early, so he got the best odds in the event his bet will win. Both teams have injured players who are not available tonight but they have their starters so it's going to be amazing to watch.

I am gonna keep an eye for the big man of both team, I hope they will explode in tonight's game.
Good pick again Stadus Wink
They were dominating the nuggets the entire game and ended up with a 6 point difference.
Plumlee got into a fight in the middle of the second quarter and got ejected. So their big center was out half the game and the jazz exploited it to the best they could.
8799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 23, 2019, 11:16:46 PM
Wasn't expecting Raonic to lose to Lucas Pouille. Raonic played really well in the last few matches and after beating Wawrinka, I expecting him to reach at least Semis. fair play to Pouille though, countered Raonic's forehand quite easily. Nadal vs Tsitsipas next, I dont think Tsitsipas really has a chance. Considering that Nadal has one of the best top spin forehands. If he focuses on Tsitsipas's forehand it will be close to impossible for him to counter that, other than just slicing it. Federer had the same issue for a long time too, while facing Nadal. Its almost impossible to hit a topspin forehand when the ball is around and over the shoulder height. Going to be an interesting matchup for sure but should be another finals showing for Nadal.

So its going to be Pouille vs Djokovic in the other bracket. And Pouille has able to neutralizes the big serve of Raonic, but it was not a easy match for him. As I have said in my previous post, Djokovic was given a free pass so he will be well rested. I'm not seeing Pouille getting over Djokovic though.

As for Nadal vs Tsitsipas, I'm expecting Tsitsipas to give Nadal everything he can handle. I remember the last time they fought in Roger Cup, I wouldn't say that Nadal has a easy win against him, but I'm expecting Tsitsipas to perform better this time against Rafa. I won't be surprised if he pulls through.  Grin
So would you say this would consist of a five set game for Nadal to be able to overtake and go to the AO finals again?
If so will see what the books put up for an over on games and if the odds are good.
It might be a successful wagering option for a good hit if your wondering what to parlay your other matches with.

You can see a highlight of the dunk in the video below which proves at 30 years he can still contend with the 20 something year olds and he still has the spirit to make a run in the playoffs.
https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/russell-westbrook-to-damian-lillard-i-been-busting-that-ass-for-years-news.70110.html
I had them to win last night and made my parlay a nice one! Wink
Just wish I had put the btc I lost to the raptors single bet on them instead. Cry

Thanks Westbrook!
