8781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BIP 148 and coinbase.com on: June 14, 2017, 11:19:15 AM
Hi wanted to know with BIP 148 about to be activated on 1st August is it safe to keep money in coinbase.com as it is or shift it to some other wallet, is coinbase.com equipped to deal with this? It's a big exchange and I am sure it will be, but reading a lot on the net it is not ready kindly advise. I am sure many coinbase.com users would have same query.
8782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone won freebitco.in lottery already? on: June 14, 2017, 04:31:31 AM
was just wondering if someone here has win some btc on the lottery
playing it since 6 months and never win any lotto, i'm starting to think that the adm manipulate the whole system  Roll Eyes

Initially there was lots of noise that whether lottery system worked or no, who were this so called winners, and we all believed that it was fake, but over a period of time the winners have woken up and pasted proof out here so we all have verified that you can win in the lottery, personally I had won 20$ second highest price in the normal roll, so I can say you need to try harder to win the lottery but don't give up, you never know never what may happen.
8783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: June 14, 2017, 04:26:43 AM
Still no one on the dev team considers this an issue?

I have sent multiple $20 transactions all with high fee ALONG WITH high confirm times..

Blockchain.info now has 2 different fee modes to send, both of which are high.

Ethereum will take over Bitcoin if this keeps up.

Well I do understand your frustration op, I realised the same when I was trying to send 0.84 $ and I had to pay 2$ in fees so I junked the transaction. Well the fees is a big pain, but to say eth will take over no I don't agree with it, eth is a alt it always will be a alt, alts come and go Bitcoin is here to stay strong. Eth is only being marketed well and hence I am bit wary of it in the long term.

8785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2017, 09:32:02 AM
Ac Milan has bought from Porto the young talent Andrè Silva, 21 years old, for 38M. He has already scored 7 goals in 8 games played with Portugal, and Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is a great player and will definitely become a champion.
Ac Milan has already made 4 purchases (Musacchio, Kessie, Rodriguez, Andrè Silva) and seems willing to return a great team

AC Milan are sure eager to become the European Superpower house in football as they used to do, i think this will help the Serie A thrive and become as competitive as it used to be. Other teams like Inter Milan and Roma shuld all invest in the game.
This is part of the promise of the new owner AC Milan that he will makes Milan great again with provide more funds to buy more players so in my point of view Milan hasn't stop to buy and maybe there are several players who came to Milan soon

yeah Milan trying to buy out their way back to succes as they now spent over €135 million on new signings this summer as Silva, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez. While the other side of Milan Club still struggling to keep his top players like Ivan Persic who is demanding to leave Inter the club wants €50 million (£44m) to let go the attacking  midfielder to Manchester United and they are offering him €40 million at the end i think that United will land him especially when United other target Antoine Griezmann has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid through 2022 with his situation unlikely to see him move out to them this season.
make Milan great again...
I think they have the vision to play next European competition where they have the huge and prestigious history. hopefully, they will regain their time, they already signed four potential players and hey also want to sign more players, in this case, Verrati would be the best choice for making this team strong...

Milan have spent close to 99 mil euros as of now. They have certainly gotten into rebuilding mode. Dont think Griezmann is moving anywhere for the next couple of years with the contract extension. ATM are also giving him a salary bonus for his loyalty to the club. Manchester united seems to have signed Fabinho foor 40 mil eur from Monaco(Not 100% as of now though).

Greizemen is moving to Manchester United next season as one simple reason you can see that his release clause has not been increased, and he forced it himself so that means his intentions are clear he wants to move and next transfer window he shall move. He almost got his moveI had it not been for the transfer ban on atletico, it's almost a done deal.
8786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where the hell is Satoshi? on: June 13, 2017, 09:12:39 AM
Hello folks,

I don't know if i posted in the right category of the forum but i am quite sure that the content of my post will be understood or what i am trying to say.

So we all know satoshi: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

We all know the genesis address: https://blockchain.info/address/1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

We all know this fact: "The first 50 BTC block reward went to address 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa, though this reward can't be spent due to a quirk in the way that the genesis block is expressed in the code. It is not known if this was intentional or an accident."

We all know all the shitty people who tried to convince us they are satoshi.

Ok..so my point is .. what if satoshi never existed? Iluminati right? But we all know Snowden case and what he said to the world. So in fact what is bitcoin? It is important for us to know who was the mind behind bitcoin project?

Where the hell is satoshi? Do we desearve to know the truth? What do you think folks?

Or maybe we are all satoshi Cheesy

cheers

Another thread talking about satoshi's but in the end it will meet same fate, satoshi's obviously won't come here and reply and no one here knows where he is or what happened, as far your knowledge satoshi's existed and he's real now don't know where he is or maybe he just wants to leave a peaceful life and guess we all should rather than be worried where he is.
8787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2017, 09:04:45 AM
As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow?

Now everyone knows about it and there is not a single country that doesn't know about Bitcoins, it's helping Bitcoins grow and March into all territories and that will help more and more people buy and sell through Bitcoins. As more and more people buy and sell through Bitcoins, Bitcoin price shall increase and plus it's popularity so it's would be good for the community that buying and selling through Bitcoin shall become faster and easier.
8788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 12, 2017, 10:36:13 AM
I've been in a few months making bookkeeping for every deposit / withdrawal i did. Sounds a bit stupid but I feel the benefit of it all. Like I can resist my desire to gamble after loss much or after get huge wins. did you wanna try my way  Wink

Worth a try though not sure it will work, basically if I get it right you think by creating a book where I note down all the profits and loos and then I basically arrange it as my account statement so I stay away from gambling maybe if I see i have incurred looses but what if I see that I have incurred profits, won't I be more eager to gamble more. It will work both ways and not only one way we see it. But will put this idea into implementation and see how this works out, if any one else is going to do it post your results.
8789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 12, 2017, 08:58:12 AM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?

First is join freeBitcoin then make a huge referral base, per facuets they click you will get reward points, then they have 2x and 3x reward points mostly on Saturdays keep on collecting that, and then convert it to Bitcoin bonus go for 1000% and try and click every hour, this is the best and simplest strategy to earn the highest satoshi's. All other facuets are very slow and boring and they stop a paying after a while.

The all time legend of clay strikes again, congratulations to Rafa Nadal. He really is a legend on this surface, let's see how he gets on soon during the grass season.

Incredible Rafa Nadal who wins the Roland Garros for the 10th time (2005,2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2017).
For the third time he wins the tournament without losing 1 set(2008,2010,2017).
Has lost only 35 games throughout the tournament (his personal record).

It is a great season for him, who is just waiting to return to the top in the ranking atp

There was only one man who truly deserved to win it once the joker had exhibited the tournament and Rafael is the God of clay he had to only win it. Salute to the playa who's given everything on the field and I am very happy to see him win it, he is the champ and the very f... G best. Ever since Roger form dipped his hasn't and that's a legend.
8791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 11, 2017, 12:09:17 PM
And the chokers are choking again, There goes my bet down the drain, RSA will always be the chokers, They don't rise up to the occasion no matter where they are playing. Lets see if they can make a game out of it or not, Anything above 250 may give them a chance, But that's a long way from here (Currently 165/5). India now has to play really poorly to lose this one, Should be a walk in the park for India.

Agree the Chokers are already choking again, had expected them to give some fight at least but no a meal surrender it's the typical way I guess they play at the big games. What a boring match, until they suddenly score runs and pick up to many Indian wickets this match looks a dead rubber to me, with India can take a cake walk in this match.
8792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big transaction fee in Bitcoin , really down the future of btc ? on: June 11, 2017, 12:06:12 PM
Day to day the price of the Bitcoin is increasing but with this a big problem arising that is fee .
Can you think that with the increase of the transaction fee of the Bitcoin will results into less use of the Bitcoin for transaction from one address to another .
And people will move toward the other cryptocurrency .
Or there is chances to improve the block chain network and increase the size of block .

I request to everyone to give you thoughts and views at this big problem of fee .

Ya the fee is getting a big pain, last time I tried to send 0.84$ and I was shown a fees of 3$ approx, which was ridiculous I don't even know what to do. I am not leaving Bitcoins but ya I hope the block issue is solved soon. Fees irritate us but the stability and the price rise no one give, so for that reason I won't ever give up on Bitcoin.
8793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries launching their own cryptocurrencies affect bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 11:15:07 AM
A couple of countries have launched their own cryptocurrencies and some are planning to do so. The governments know that bitcoins can't be completely centralized and hence creating their own fully centralized version of cryptocurrency. Legalising bitcoin and making it a part of a country's financial structure is in no doubt beneficial for bitcoins growth, but instead using blockchain technology to roll out their own digital currency and ultimately banning bitcoins, would it affect bitcoins progress? What do you think?

Countries with their own cryptocurrency, Ecuador, China, Singapore just tested digital dollar via Ethereum blockchain, Palestine is planning to launch their own currency and and a few countries are studying the blockchain technology closely.

IMO, governments legalising bitcoins is the best way to achieve mass recognition. On the other hand, if more countries launch their own digital currencies and proclaim bitcoin as illegal then that would definitely halt bitcoins growth, but only temporarily. Banning internet is altogether on a different level than banning bitcoins. So the growth would be halted, but the internet money would bounce back.

Streisand effect.

Quote
The Streisand effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.

No I do not think it will have a direct effect on Bitcoin, people will not like Bitcoin as a centralized it looses the core value if it's centralized. I personally do not like centralized Bitcoin what's the use of it. Bitcoin is left as it is it should not be touched or disturbed, and if people are smart they shall dump the centralized one and go for the decentralised one. Government should keep their hands of my Bitcoins.
8794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In preparation for August 1st rumor has it a pre release could happen! on: June 11, 2017, 11:10:33 AM
This is the 4th or 5th thread same thing happened last year they cried, built the hype and then when ultimately the day came they did not show up, same is going to happen on August one. They won't turn up and it's just another drama that's going on. Reddit is shit half of the things that turn up there are baseless and I won't ever trust it. So as I have said it in the past this shall pass, nothing shall happen to our coins this shall be another hopeless attempt another false alarm.
8795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to negative thinkers and innocent minds. Prove to them! on: June 11, 2017, 05:52:26 AM
For those innocent and negative thinkers, I certainly can prove to them like a comparison between their activities doing nothing on their home and comparing also what I've done saving my bitcoin in my online wallet. We can make an agreement just to monitor my investments, and to him/her doing nothing and just wasting the whole day watching movies. So the best thing on this is we gonna check each other's progress on whose going to generate an income? Will I be the one having profit from my invested btc or for them who just did nothing? I guess they've missed it out and the reality happening here is, the profit which I have earned through bitcoin which those people ignored. That's how we prove them the reality how bitcoin works on our lives today and they really needed to absorb the learnings we have.

So you want to hardshell your opinion that's nice but it's really pointless op, look for a very long time we all. Have tried this, spent hours behind these people explain them to only realize these fools just do not want to see it. And I guess I was done, here I am trying to help them, see the gains, the power but all they want to is block my opinion so I decided to move on, and I only explain when people are ready to hear it.
8796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is winning the Race - Bitcoin or Paypal? on: June 10, 2017, 01:09:13 PM
As an online payment platform, Bitcoin appears to have all the advantages over Paypal, making it hot for the online gambling world too.

Read more: https://bitcoincasinos.reviews/bitcoin-is-winning-the-popularity-race-against-paypal/

Bitcoin handsdown paypal is obsolete and does nothing and it's has lots of problems associated with it, plus the reversals is a major problem when doing any transactions in it. Then suddenly it blocks account or just deletes the information, and on top of it I don't feel the data is secure cause you keep on getting spam emails, where as Bitcoin works fast, identity safe and simple and easy to use.
8797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: June 10, 2017, 09:37:08 AM
It's been weeks now since i play gambling games or we may say casino games, sometime i played it just for fun but when i won, my greediness comes and trying to recover my lose bitcoins and want to earn more but ending up losing all my money. For me gambling is good just to have fun and beat boredness but if you want to make money by playing casino i think it's not a good idea because you never know how many luck you have it's either you lose all your money or double it. but most of the time i lose all my money for you guys what do you think of playing casino games is it good or not?

If you are playing a casino online you should be sure it's trusted and reputed, like the one in my signature, it's has a huge name and every one trusts it, plus they added some new games so it's got even cooler. Then you should also look for the history, read on the forum and see how their seeds are. It's always important to go to a trusted casino or else you run the risk of loosing money. Bitdice is the best casino to be playing online, don't take my word for it, come and try it.
8798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: June 10, 2017, 07:27:39 AM
While Bitcoin there are a few scaling options, it appears that a number of Bitcoin investors have been switching to Altcoins, and may not switch back to Bitcoins any time soon .
What will happen if investors continuously switch to altcoins? Will bitcoin crash ?

Those are fools who leave behind Bitcoins for alts, they are called alts for a reason. Nothing will happen to Bitcoin but these investors shall loose their money and shall go bankrupt trying to regain their lost money. Look at the alt coin history, how many of them last, Bitcoin has stood the test of time and will always be standing strong. I would advise you to ignore the alts only stay focused on Bitcoins, just cause of a handful investors going away it won't crash.
8799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you For or Against "Government" Regulation of Bitcoin. on: June 10, 2017, 05:21:56 AM
I noticed many pro government Regulation of Bitcoin popping up everywhere thesedays it makes me wonder whether fellow Bitcoiners are in support of these people or more focused on accumulating more Bitcoin & Altcoin.
Would Satochi be in Support of Regulation? Are you in support or against?

Definitely against government controlling Bitcoins. What's the point if government was to control it, that's the end of Bitcoin for every Bitcoin user. They will charge tax, keep a fix amount per user, and who knows lots of restrictions. It will spell doom for everyone. No one will benefit, so if I can I will fight it for as long as I can before allowing government to gain any control over it.
8800  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase transaction charge could somebody explain??? on: June 09, 2017, 10:31:28 AM
I have some earning i got through some faucet my initial days of bitcoin and it transferred to coinbase wallet even i dint want to send its very less amount like 20000 sathoshi today was trying to transfer amount to my original wallet i seen the transaction fees and i shocked please check the image . Network fees 111928  for 20000

In simpler words the fees that they were taking on selves, now they are passing it on to the consumers, basically for every transactions you do you need to pay a fees that's stated in your photo now doesn't matter if it less than a $, and funnily for transferring a $ you need to pay 2$ fee. But then they had notified this and changed the rules can't help it, and which ever wallet you choose will charge you fees so practically nothing you can do expect pay the fees or accumulate and transfer a high amount so fees will small.
