881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coin I can mine in Microsoft Azure cloud? on: April 14, 2016, 12:55:53 PM
Hi

I have a Microsoft Azure account with offers me 150$ per month.
What could I mine with this plan?
From what I have read mining Ethereum is not worth now...
What other coins I can mine ?

Thank you

CPU coins would probably be more profitable for you on Azure rather than GPU coins, you can try HODL

I've never used microsoft azure, but it looks like they're partnering with Nvidia:
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/videos/azurecon-2015-applications-that-scale-using-gpu-compute/

If their prices are low, it might depend on the type of GPU virtualisation. It might become interesting to mine with the GPU... Not really sure about this tough.

On other cloud platforms, I would certainly point towards CPU mining, but also include the clear warning that CPU mining won't make much coins in the end...

I have not seem widespread availability of the N series instances yet, either they are still private or Microsoft scraped the idea

Account created Nov 2015

Post quality is not judged by you so saying your post quality is excellent instantly lowers credibility.

Therefore I would offer 0.0005
bctalkaccountpricer.info must've given OP the idea that his post quality is excellent. No it doesn't lower the credibility of the account. You don't know if OP is saying the truth. Also are you really here to offer that dumb amount or just spamming?

Op, do you hve any signe message available?
Also as it only have 120+ activity, can you lower the price? If you want to negotiate pm.

Pretty new Sr Accounts are not valuable at all unless said member is was involved in development or good services

I have manually looked through his posts and deduced by offer based on that, call me spamming or fake offer whatever, the same can be said of you if you didn't realise, if you are offering so much for said account, all I can say is good luck with your investments

Edit: Oh wait it's only a member account, forget it. I wish you all the luck you can ever get for his account with said price

another ponzi ?

Until someone else owns up winning the first round and it is not a new member it can safely be said that he is the one paying himself, aka he made the 3eth bid and got his original 30 + the other bids knowing that no one else would play his ponzi

Interesting article, but I think it is too early to say that ether is a worthy successor of Bitcoin. I would say one of the better ideas towards a bitcoin successor

500 satoshi doesn't seem worth it but the idea is very clever. "Smiley

I used to play this back when it started, it was very profitable back then, it has been awhile since though and I'm not sure if the question banks are the same

Which are the popular exchanges for trading in Singapore?

FYBSG

itBit (biggest Volume)

Quoine

CoinHako

Localbitcoins

I would recommend CoinHako, not affiliated

898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question About Staking... on: April 12, 2016, 10:58:26 PM
If I am not wrong, Gridcoin uses the most primitive PoS scheme, aka Peercoin like with certain improvements.

Staking would depend largely on the time coins has been staking in your account. The higher your so called coin age and the higher amounts of coins staking, the higher the chance of a staked block.

So to answer your question it probably doesn't matter once you start the stake process. Just be sure not to spend the stake coins, I think it resets the coin age even if moving from your own address to your another address.

Hopefully someone else more familiar with the process can verify and help you more

So if I want to store the block chain files in the blockchain

Imagine how big it will get.

Haha

Nice idea but no feasible with the already pretty humongous blockchain
