A 9 GPUs rig is compact, quiet and it releases not much instant heat, but I still suggest you put it in living room for more air circulation.
I ever installed 2 rigs with 12 GPUs in a small bed room which has a large window (size ~130cmx100cm), so now I have to deal with cooling and ventilation.

I think if you could purchase some Asic miners at very first batch, you could ROI in 4-6 months, but if it's not the case, ROI is not that fast, maybe 10-12 months like GPU mining. After that ROI, asic miner could not give you much option due to its low hashrate, but with GPU, its flexibility give you some choice on altcoin mining, basically you still could get more profit with it. Going with Asic mining, you should consider about warranty and its noise problem as well.

For me, the future of Ethereum is still promising. So I keep mining ETH with 60% of my total hashrate and try to collect more ETH via exchange in each dump and pump of BTC.

because on simple mining power limit is in watt and not %

GTX 1070 has TDP is 150W, so yes 80% PL is 120W as same as your setting. I tried many tests with 13 GPUs on SOS as well, optimum setting is: 120W, +120 Core, +100 Mem, 75 temp target, 70% Min Fan speed, average hashrate is 436 sol/s. I think it's not that high, but acceptable for me. When I did the same setting for 6-8 cards, average hashrate is about 445-448 sol/s. |

Guys I confirm that if you leave it as it is you'll receive coins anyway!!! I received my payout even if I'm in WAHTCH_DOG EXPIRED status! So just relax and let the devs work... Don't go in panic  I'm not sure this is the reason or not, but today as I checked in cryptopia exchange, it looks like someone sell in panic, also somebody's trying to collect as much as possible. |

I have been mining on btgpool.pro and pool gold. Pool gold had no payment 8 hours of wasted mining. btgpool.pro was beter i recieved one payment on my coinomi account. i stopped mining because i didnt see any change in my immature or pending balance at btgpool.pro. Now half a day later i see my pending balance increasing and im not mining. I think because of this everyone is getting nervous. I will wait few more hours to see if pending balance will reach payout if it does i will continue if not i will stick to my zcash
I used coinomi address as well but it looks like the payment will not be finished, the balance in pool.gold is 0 now. Actually, I quit mining BTG already. |

What's happened with VIVO masternodes? As I checked yesterday, it had about more than 500 master nodes, but today just has 22, the ROI is skyrocket as well.
As I wrote over your post they're entered in WATCHDOG_EXPIRED status, that means that they're not running sentinel.. maybe they are under windows and not linux, like me. Another reason for which I will have to build a linux machine... OMG    Thank you very much! I havent checked my wallet and upgrade status yet, it's installed in window as well. So it means during the expired period there's no reward right? |

For Equihash mining, as I know it's matter with Core clock rather than Memory. So my setting for MSI 1070: 80% Power limit, +100 Core, +50 Mem, hashrate is stable at 447 sol/s.

I am following the beginner's guide on mining Zcash on my PC. I am now at this instruction: "Paste this string inside the EWBF Miner folder we extracted earlier." I know where the EWBF Miner is, the string, and what they are talking about. But how do I find the "batch file" called "flypool"? I searched for "batch file" in the zcash miner dialogue search box and came up with about 40 options [many repeats] none of which was "flypool." There was one called "fypool" repeated about four times, but no "flypool." I would really appreciate some help here. You just create the new .bat file or edit the start.bat file. For example, you make a new batch file such as: "yonargi1.bat" and edit it like this: miner --server us1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user YOUR_T-address.rigx --pass x --pec --templimit 70 |

For ETH or ETC, you should purchase AMD RX series: Vega 64, Vega 56, RX 580, RX 470.
If your budget is big enough, you could buy state-of-the-art Vega 64, otherwise, RX580 is good choice, it is cheaper now.

So basically you are running at 9x% loading 24/7 which is dangerous. I suggest you find a 1200-1300W PSU which could let you run with 80% loading for safe and stable 24/7 operation.
