It seems that if Mourinho really wants to bring in Andrea Belotti maybe he wants to have a good squad depth especially in strikers,
besides that maybe Andrea Belotti will fit into the scheme implemented by Mourinho,
We'll see what happens with the rumors later
I am happy to see the movement of AS Roma in this transfer market, especially after they signed Dybala. That means they are more serious about the upcoming season. And now they are targeting a new striker to add to their attacking power up front. As you said, squad depth is important because rotations can be done at any time because they don't lack quality players.
from the news that I read, jose mourinho is currently focusing on improving Roma's back line.

Quote
Reportedly, coach Jose Mourinho still needs a new player at the central defender post. Eric Bailly, a Manchester United player, is a target.

this season Roma really has to look stunning, jose mourinho also gave his team a target to finish in the top 3 series A and get into the UCL next season.

What Barcelona FC have achieved is to create a lot of expectation and a lot of talk about them, as well as excitement among their fans, but I can't wait for the league to start and see how they do. Signings do not equate to results and if the gamble goes wrong, there will be profound changes in the structure of the club.
despite the success of Barca in the transfer market this season, they have also done quite cruel things to some players.

Quote
Barcelona wants to terminate Martin Braithwaite's contract sooner. However, Barca is reluctant to pay off Braithwaite's salary for the last two years which amounted to 8 million euros. In addition, Barca also did not want to compensate for the termination of the contract.

Even so, news like this does not make a scene because many believe that Xavi's current decision is purely for the good of the future of Barca.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: August 01, 2022, 11:07:41 AM
That is why Government should not ban gambling.  Because if they do, they are missing the benefits from it.  Look at the scenario, the government ban gambling removing the taxation benefits from the industry and yet people still go after gambling, dealing with it illegaly.  So this proves that the government failed to restrict gambling in their jurisdiction and what more, since gambling is done secretly, they are unaware on the number of addicted players and surely will fail to implement programs that will help gambling addicts because gambling addicts people will not voluntarily submit themselves on the program due to the fear of possible legal action by the government since gambling is prohibited.
The advantage of gambling controlled by a country is that the age of players and gambling addicts can be controlled easily. my country is banned from gambling but many gambling stands illegally here, it is a big loss because the potential for taxes that should be received by the region is very large. Gambling is a potential business, the government can't fight it.

Manchester City team was considered to be the most favorite team to win the Premier League next season. But their performance against Liverpool was not as expected. Although it was a friendly match. However, both teams played with their main squads. I am not saying that Manchester City played badly. But, Liverpool's match strategy and gameplay were more organized than Manchester City's. Especially Liverpool's Darwin Nunez and Salah's performances were good.
I didn't think Man City would lose either. Liverpool dominated the game more, their playmakers were more creative. As for Man City, I agree that Man City have not been able to perform well in this pre-season. Halaand has also not shown to be the best striker. Their players also look unable to mix. I think the stats are inferior to Nunez's. Indeed, this is only pre-season maybe they are not serious yet and are still careful not to get injured. The score of 3-1 I think is too big a gap.
Haaland and Foden appeared barren in the Man City vs Liverpool match, to be honest, many were disappointed with the two of them. but Liverpool's attack line is getting sharper with the entry of Nunez. many fans are pessimistic about Haaland's potential at Man City this season.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 01, 2022, 08:29:06 AM
PSG's game under coach Christophe Galtier looks so different and it looks better both in possession and in attack, the big win against Nantes is proof of that and apart from that Messi and Neymar's game was highlighted and they did it very well and with that. I am sure that next season Neymar will prove himself to be even better because there is a lot of negative news about him.
PSG's atmosphere under Galtier's control is different, it's not only Neymar who looks stunning but Sergio Ramos too, I'm very impressed with the goal he (Sergio Ramos) scored against Nantes, it was his third goal during his time with PSG, this season he will definitely look more stunning again.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 01, 2022, 08:02:39 AM
This is in reference to a newbie thread in the gambling section about his list of casinos that surprisingly are not on this forum, there are too many of them some of them are already running 5 to 20 years already.

So I would like to ask are you playing in casinos that are not on this forum, if so what are these casinos and how's your experience can you recommend them here, can you name your own list
since the beginning I found out about this forum, I have stopped using gambling / casino sites that are outside this forum. My reason is simple, because I am more confident with the reputation of the crypto online gambling sites in this forum, gambling site services out there are more vulnerable to being closed.

After Cristiano Ronaldo complained about all the rumors, the media has calmed down around him. Nowadays it's really bad how rumors develop and spread, but I also think it's okay that he stays with ManU. What happens after his contract expires will be interesting.
I believe that if a big team entered the UCL and was interested in Cristiano then I'm sure he would immediately move there. next year Cristiano contract will expire, if MU next season does not also enter the UCL then with his strong intentions, there is no reason for Cristiano to stay at MU, speculation about Cristiano's future at MU is quite interesting.

Real Madrid showed us today that they prepared well for this season by having a solid performance against Juventus. Maybe Barcelona are attracting most of the attention these days but we shouldn't overlook Real Madrid for the title also. They are the last champions already and they are still very strong and maybe even better. I just wish to follow a championship competition between them until the end of the season. Because when one of them opens the gap too much the league starts to be boring.
madrid is really amazing, if juve is able to draw with barca then not with Madrid. many speculated that this final result happened because of pogba's absence, but the good news is that juventus will bring in pjanic (to fill the vacancy in the potential midfield position).
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 31, 2022, 06:39:28 PM
online gambling addicts can still stop if you have strong intentions, avoid everything that smells of gambling, busy yourself with family so don't diagnose yourself as an addict and can't stop gambling but be excited to stay away so you don't stress
I'm not an addict, but it seems that intention alone is not enough. Looks like someone else has to help to stop. Looks like there should be a psychologist who accompanies. Maybe it's like drug addicts. They will have a hard time stopping on their own. They need rehab. Maybe this applies to people who are addicted to online gambling.
not 100% of people who are addicted to gambling need the services of a psychologist to help them stop their addiction, there are also many successful addicts who quit because of the encouragement of loved ones, so I really agree with the support option from loved ones to encourage addicts to quit gambling if the gambling addict doesn't have the cost to go to a psychologist.

Chelsea made attempt to bring in a new centre back but RB Leipzig have not intention of letting go of the Croatian international. Todd Boehly's not giving up on this deal as binds a swap deal with Timo Werner loan deal but let's see how it goes because it all depends on the possible discussion between the two club. Chelsea are seriously in need of a centre back because their is big space at their defense line and looks like these young Players might find it difficult to fitin on time.
losing rudiger and christensen is the biggest loss for chelsea because last season they both performed amazingly in the chelsea defense sector. because kounde chose to go to barcelona then gvardiol is a good option that chelsea can choose, reportedly both teams (chelsea and leipzig) have almost reached a final decision.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 30, 2022, 06:52:56 PM
Juventus are still thinking about a move to sign Nicolo Zaniolo but I'm not very positive about Roma to sell him to any team now. It is like the time they need him the most because they would aim to have a better season with Mourinho. Zaniolo is a player who can play a critical role in making this real. Tottenham are also observing his situation from some distance and looking for an opportunity to sign him. I expect none of them to reach their goal at least for this summer.
Juventus' intention to borrow Zaniolo from Rome seems strong, but speculation about this is still confusing because it is reported that zaniolo is included in the mourinho project (roma core team). zaniolo is a good player even though he was injured badly a few years ago but that doesn't affect the quality of his game, no wonder why juve and tottenham are interested in him.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 29, 2022, 01:23:00 PM
This can be true if the person doesn't have  internet acess, it is hard for a gamble addict to stop no matter the change of environment since gambling is part of him. You gamble most times when less busy so only self discipline can play a major role on gambling.
Addictions are difficult to leave behind precisely because most of the time the reason behind their addiction can be easily obtained to the point changing the environment may not do much, and gambling addiction is like that, after all almost any person today that lives at a city has a smartphone with Internet access, this means that they only need to do a quick search, make a deposit and they can be gambling in a matter of minutes, so only those which are completely determined to leave gambling behind can ever recover from their addiction.
a few days ago I went to a village that was quite remote but there internet access was very good, I was surprised to see that there were several adults playing gambling through their smartphones, this shows that nowadays anyone can play gambling anywhere when connected to the internet, and the environment can hardly cure those who are addicted to gambling nowadays.

Many famous Casino is now doing partnership on different streamers. So in conclusion, Streamers contributes a lot on the increase of popularity of online gambling.

streamers have become a job for many influencers nowadays, and many sites also provide referral programs for their site users, I have also watched gambling streamers several times and they invite viewers to register via their referral link. from here I see that both the streamer and the gambling site are mutually beneficial. the more bonuses are given to streamers, the more streamers who try to make their audience play online gambling, and online gambling grow.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 28, 2022, 04:45:08 PM
~ How about you? Do you have Fengshui practice that you're observing when you are about to play or while playing

This very question sounds like an insult to me. How could you assume me being so stupid?!  Grin

But if seriously, no, I respect other people's beliefs. Believe what you want, just don't kill me for not being a big fan of your way of thinking. So, if gambling following some Feng Shui rules makes you happier, I'm totally OK with that. Only, Feng Shui or not, don't bet more than you can afford to lose. Just in case. Wink
We can always be strategic when it comes to gambling and we could also rely on our personal beliefs but we can't expect others to have the same strategy or belief as we do. Fengshui I think won't work especially for those who don't believe in it. It's just a good thing that we have the freedom to rely on our beliefs, culture, and faith in gambling.
as I have said, that fengshui will not only be effective for those who believe but will also be effective for those who do not believe in it. if you are in a gambling building that uses fengshui, you will definitely feel comfortable and the air flow there will make you feel at home for a long time, without you realizing you have entered into the effectiveness of fengshui even though you don't believe it.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 25, 2022, 03:48:53 PM

there are professional gamblers, they are very disciplined people, they are very social people, you can see them on youtube and they are people who live on gambling and from what I can tell they are not addicts. everything in this world depends on how we use ourselves. if we abuse and exaggerate and if we don't use knowledge then we can go down a wrong path, in the case of gambling people just need to have self control. such as alcohol, food, sex, politics... everything can make someone addicted if they don't have self-control.
people who are successful in everything are people who can control themselves (not controlled by thoughts and desires like addicts). addicts are sad people, they lose control of themselves and it makes them live a miserable life, I am quite grateful to be able to control myself when gambling and not become an addict.

Barcelona always surprises even in the transfer market this season. Barcelona is rumored to be experiencing a financial crisis but in fact the players who are brought in are always those who have high prices with high quality as well. and many players from other clubs who want to get into barcelona. like jules kounde. even though chelsea has cast a high bid of 55 million pounds. but the sevilla and jules kounde have not provided clarity to chelsea. but now circulating that the sevilla have given a positive sign to barcelona. that is ready to accept the proposal of personal terms.
The diplomacy carried out by the management of Barca and Xavi to get great players who currently fill the Barca squad really deserves a thumbs up. chelsea (who are competing for kounde too) will definitely be very upset with barca for losing the competition for kounde.  barca must be able to get the trophy back (la league and even UCL) so that all the struggles they put in to earn money, pay off.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Competitive gambler on: July 25, 2022, 09:54:20 AM
That is also the reason why I don't gamble that much in casinos because I already knew that it's not my forte and I'm not really lucky with it as I would be throwing down some money on the drain. I prefer to gamble sports because I can have more chance of winning as I know how the sports works but still won't guarantee a win even if we really analyzed it.
I gamble using sport too, but I do not gamble too much as well, because I know that the more I gamble the more the chance to lose. Gambling using sport is also very risky, just that the matches are not as fast as games like in casinos is the difference but very risky. In-play is also very risky, it makes the match shorter and the unexpected often occur as well especially if gambling more often. Sport betting can be better, there can be analyses but the fact is that it can still bring about money loss, the reason we need to be very careful and mindful of our gambling mindset
I am also not someone who often gambles, the majority of my gambling is only on sports betting. it never crossed my mind to make gambling as "my main way to make money", my principle is never to remember losing and don't play with money I can't lose.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 25, 2022, 03:43:36 AM

The price is too high and in football there are very good players on the market for 30 million euros. But at 17, FC Bayern also had Jamal Musiala and now he is 19 years young and has a market value of 65 million euros. So they can develop yuong player at Bayern and they will probably earn money with it. There is also Paul Wanner and he is 16 years old.

If indeed this transfer happens then Mathys Tel will become the world's most expensive young player ever bought. I also see that the price of mathys is very expensive, even though its potential has not been seen, but I'm sure bayern talent scouts must have other considerations so they can charge mathys to this high.

I swear on GOD! That goal from Raphina was top class, perfectly taken, technically sound was a thunderous and stunning blast that was. The next time they both will get the proper El Clasico game will be October 10at the Santiago Bernabue. They had a better game in the first half but they got pressing and pressured by Real Madrid. What I know is that Barcelona are also better at the Camp Nou no matter the form of Real Madrid, both club's would be anticipating for that game.
Well, that's a friendly game and Real Madrid didn't put all its force on it. There was some attempts from both teams and Barcelona was more threatening. A mistake let Raphinha score the only goal of the game and such thing should be avoided in the real El classico.

@Trofo, I think we should have a new poll for the coming season.
I think I will select Barcelona once it achieve registration of the new signed players.
reportedly kounde chose barcelona over other teams and this is a good thing for the barcelona defense.  in the elclasico match a few days ago (even though it was only a pre-season match), it was clear that the barcelona squad was already extraordinary, so with the entry of kounde to barca it will add strength to barca again in the back line, hopefully kounde to barca no more obstacles.

What about Newcastle in the transfer market? so far we haven't heard any big news there whereas previously many people predicted that Newcastle would make big changes in the team when Newcastle got a new owner with unlimited funds  Cheesy from the list of new players there are only 5 players who have been recruited this season and none of them are famous players while there are 9 players released, this is totally beyond our expectation or indeed unlimited funds are just rumors  Huh

Yeah good point. They were quite active in last transfer window after change of ownership but now they aren't showing their interest even. Maybe they are convinced with the current squad and don't want any further signings. Now I am not sure what their aim is right now in this season because they need some solid signings to be competitive this season.
newcastle has bought 5 players in this transfer window but all of them are not big names like haaland or lewand.  I'm sure the newcastle owner is working on a strategy that we can't predict. newcastle will find it difficult to compete with top Premier League clubs because their squad composition is mediocre imo.  what still remains a question mark for me is why the new owner of newcastle until now has not made a big transfer, is he short of money LOL.
