881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is worst investment ever on: November 28, 2018, 11:27:06 AM
i bought bitcoin when it was for $14 k
now it's less than $4k. i lost +10k per one bitcoin.

Bitcoin is worst investment ever i could imagine.
You have to be very careful when making any investment. This can happen to any coin and not bitcoin alone. Also all coins are presently affected. Imagine someone who also bought ethereum at $1300 and now sees it a little above $110, that can also be disheartening. Sometimes, investing in long term can be saddening if you cannot take your mind off it.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have received some tokens. Should I sell or hold? on: November 28, 2018, 11:23:48 AM
Whatever token one gets at this time, if the price is not satisfactory enough and if you are not a good trader, it is better you hold than just sell at a ridiculous price. Sometimes i just wonder why some people decide to just dump tokens that are promising. Not everything you get, should be dumped. You need to first look at what is ahead before you make up your mind to sell.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fail 2018?! on: November 28, 2018, 11:02:16 AM
ETH fail 2018?!
What do you think guys ,can we see again price $ 10 ?
Will you be happy if price falls to that extent? I do not think that will happen and i believe no genuine investor or holder of eth, with good intention will dump to as low as that price. The only way that can happen is, if some people who have bulk eth intentional cause a dump to that price and that most times happen when whales are involved. That not withstanding, it will not happen.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i lost my private key of my etherdelta account on: November 28, 2018, 10:57:13 AM
I lost my private key of my etherdelta account.. there are valuable coins in my account..  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
can you help me, how to open my account?
if you know please reply

or

send me an email (samarahewanandasiri@gmail.com)
This is as difficult as losing the private key to any of your private wallets. It is unfortunate that you will not be able to recover it again, except by chance you are fortunate to have saved it in a place you cannot remember for now and you are later able to find. Another way in which it can be recovered, is if you did not close the account (like it appears on etherdelta "forget account"), you can still withdraw all the coins you have in there.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaigns for newbie to get Bitcoin on: November 24, 2018, 04:50:14 PM
Are there any campaigns for newbie to get Bitcoin ?
It is very rare to find such and if you eventually find one, the reward will be so small. So it is better to work towards having a higher rank, which will also increase the stake you would earn.
I can also see that you already have merit, which is one of the criteria needeydto rank up to the next level.
Just keep making relevant and constructive posts, which will enable to to have approved posts as activities.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: November 24, 2018, 04:45:11 PM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
This is why research is a very essential part of successful investment. There are so many things involved in knowing a good coin to invest in, if you do not want to lose your money. Some of these coins might look genuine, such as the so called bitconnect. I could remember some people were warned against it, but they never bothered to listen and they did not do enough research to make the right choice.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking your coins? on: November 24, 2018, 04:41:24 PM
Proof-of-Stake systems allow network participants to stake their coins and earn passive income. Are you staking?

Staking is emerging as an essential part of the modern cryptotechnology landscape. It is a great opportunity for anyone both to support consensus infrastructure, as well as to be rewarded for doing so.

Have you heard of Tezos' novel LPoS (Liquid Proof of Stake) system, for instance, in which you can either bake or delegate your XTZ to earn an income?
Staking has been in the system for quite some time now. Coins such as Wave, NEO and others have integrated staking on their platform for quite some time now and people are benefitting from it. There are also some new coins that have also introduced it and this tends to attract more investors. So, instead of tge usually mining that might might nit be cost effective for some people in some countries, staking is n a better option.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 24, 2018, 04:37:14 PM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?
Cryptocurrency has fallen to an extent where it is certain it would rise again. Those who are sure to have much profit  are those who invest now and hold. There are new developments being prepared at the background to make cryptocurrency a good investment for crypto enthusiasts. Some of which we have heard as rumours, but might turn out to be true.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It's time to sell on: November 24, 2018, 04:27:57 PM
I'm not spreading FUD and everyone is free to do whatever he wants. After all, it's your money.

What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.

I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. Only a few are worth investing in so instead of holding random coins, you may want to target something that has been here for a long time and still doing well such as ETH, BTC.
Of course, you might nit be spreading FUD and this would have helped some people who are on short term investment and have probably made some mistakes in their investments, such as investing in shit coins. Then sometimes, one might sell, but come back to but when the price drops again. Although, not every time we are told to sell, that we should sell, because you might end up coming back to buy at higher price.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The era of bounty hunter comes to an edd? on: November 24, 2018, 04:24:29 PM
Many people live there life as a bounty hunter. They were making some good money by just doing bounty campaigns. But good days are coming to an end. Now almost 80% campaign is scamming. They are not paying a single coin. So the golden days of bounty hunters are coming to an end  Sad
What do you think?
That is not what it is. Instead, it is an opportunity for the serious ones and those who have been truthful and faithful all the while to get better rewards. Presently, bounty will be more profitability, because some people who always cheat have been discourage and most times, they are the ones who go about, telling people that bounty is dead, meanwhile, the real bounty has just started again.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 21, 2018, 11:18:12 PM
Cryptocurrency is used in many places all around the world, cryptocurrency does not need any legal backing because it transcend individual control of it.  People are  using cryptocurrency in Europe paying for good and service with no hindrance!
Sometimes, i just wished I have the opportunity to use cryptocurrency directly for transactions, instead of selling on exchange or converting to fiat, before being able to use it for anything. Although, i have been told about business personnel, who use it to purchase goods and services from some countries. Which is easier for them, instead of using fiat directly for the transaction.

Yes, you might not be spreading FUD, but at the same time, people need to be careful when interpreting the advise you have for them, because there might be misconception.
Then selling at this time might look too risky, because the market is presently down and coins are selling low. You should only sell if what you have has profit in it. So sell, take your profit and buy later.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: November 21, 2018, 11:11:12 PM
Holding coin is not wrong, but for you to know what you are holding. Sometimes, you might hold for short term, just like some do to shit coins. There are so many of them that can bring you short term profit, but you have to monitor them closely, because such might dump at any time.
Trading on the other hand can be lucrative, but you must be very careful. The risk involved, most especially in bear market, is that the market in general might dump.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments on: November 21, 2018, 11:05:50 PM
This is one of the most challenging years in the world of cryptocurrency since the onset of its existence, but it has proved itself for not a profit-making year rather for investment time in the world of cryptocurrency. This is the best time ever to invest in cryptocurrency. We have been experiencing bearish time since the beginning of the year and this is still ongoing. The best alternative in bearish time is to do long-term investment. The wise ones always invest in this time while the foolish ones back out from the market. Bullish time will soon take over from the bearish time. Then, the wise ones will take over the market.

There are so many ways you can invest at this bearish time; the first one is to look for good projects that have great potential to be successful and invest in them either by buying their ICO or through the bounty campaign. Secondly, you can look for good coins or tokens that are already thriving in the market before the bearish and invest in them.

I will like to know your take from this post
Considering what is presently happening, it is clear that it is a year for investment, perhaps for those who can invest alone. It is also a year for traders, because this isa time for astute traders to make it the more.
This is not just for those who are investing their money alone, but also for those investing their time, effort and other resources, to promote projects in the crypto space.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 21, 2018, 11:01:23 PM
Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
Most ICO listing sites are more concerned about what they will earn. Every investor has to learn how to analyse projects the proper way, before investing. This is your money, so if you cannot research and be sure of what you want to invest in to be genuine, then do not invest. ICO listing sites are even becoming numerous these days and most want to make money from listing.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade? on: November 20, 2018, 11:57:30 AM
Hey guys, what do you prefer, hold till the end or trading? I know that people who are holding are actually saving crypto from total fall. But is it profitable to hold?
While trying to save crypto from total fall, one should also be very wise and not just sit back to watch. There are steps that need to be taken at this time of dip, in order to make some profits. If you cannot trade, you can just simply leave your coins and follow the trend of things in the crypto space.
Nonetheless, you can just think of what to do for a better investment, by also taking part in the dip, to buy the dip.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH progress in future? on: November 20, 2018, 11:53:02 AM
Some anticipate that the bull is in effect, but the market still might go lower and see a further decline.
Is it ok to buy at extreme values and worth taking risk?
My friend, if you are sure it has gone so low, it worth taking the risk. Sometimes, investment requires take some risk, because without that, you might nit succeed in it, but if you are going to take any risk, do ensure it is a reasonable risk, because there are some risks that are not worth taking.
The market that we present have is low, but who knows if it will go dip the more.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges on: November 20, 2018, 11:46:49 AM
Anyone know how long usually it takes for ICO projects to list their tokens on an exchange? Is it different with other exchanges?
Which exchange in particular are you referring to? Some exchanges presently are bring careful of listing just any project. So, they choose which to list. Then i think the selection will be based on how good the project is. So, if your project or the one you are talking of is one that would not dump unreasonably after listing, the exchange might consider listing it.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your plan for altcoin on: November 20, 2018, 11:37:17 AM
I still hold my altcoin and i plan to my all coin holding for longer time  beacuse  altcoin  give  a bright future  alt coin low now so i plan buy the coins.
Well, if you still have any altcoin you are holding now, the best would be to hold if you are not in serious need of money, because i believe their prices would have gone so low. Nonetheless, if you are still in need of money, it is advisable for you to just sell part and hold the rest, until the market recovers.
Do not allow the present situation situation of things to affect you into making wrong decisions.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a cryptocurrency now? on: November 20, 2018, 11:32:22 AM
From my point of view, if the market could fall this easily, just within a short period of time, barely a week, it simply translates that it can also rise easily. So i am not looking at too a time before the market can grow. It might grow anytime soon. Although, the fall might not have ended, before it will pick up again.
Then, presently, i am looking at making any investment now, until i notice stability in the market.
