La mia opinione resta quella sopra (120-150k), diciamo realistico-prudenziale. Credo che gli ETF saranno un successone, ma non da giustificare acquisti irrazionali in così breve tempo. Serve tempoprima che il loro potenziale venga interamente liberato. Meno di quanto fu per l'oro, ma comunque diversi anni. Leggo in giro previsioni di 1 btc a 1 milione entro pochi mesi e le giudico barzellette.
Sono d'accordo. La stima dell'impatto dell ETF sul prezzo di bitcoin è difficile per almeno tre ordini di motivi: - Stima dei flussi dell' ETF
- Stima della velocità con la quale questi flussi arriveranno sul mercato
- Stima dell'effetto dei flussi sul prezzo di bitcoin
Per ognuna di queste domande ho letto le risposte più variegate. Nessuna di queste è scientifica, anzi le più scientifiche di queste si rifacevano ad articoli di dubbia attendibilità, vecchi peraltro di diversi anni (il famigerato moltiplicatore 118 di Bank of America). Di certo il rapporto tra realised cap e market capitalisation rimane secondo me un'ottima guida da tenere senz'altro sotto controllo. |

I came to this thread with a few ideas, but those were already been expressed: We need a new, more elite one to separate truly elite members from the standard Legendary members.
I would suggest 3000 Activity and maybe 5000 Received Merit as the qualification numbers.
Rank title - Elite or something like that (open to better suggestions).
As already pointed out, Elite would be inappropriate. I would prefer mythical (also a nice reference to Halo...). Of course, on the downside, I would be excluded from this new class... for the moment. Either one of these:
1. Mobile friendly interface
2. Security and privacy board
Mobile theme: I would like it very much. I am posting 80% of my content from mobile, and I am accustomed to all that zoom in, zoom out, and scroll, but I understand it is not for everybody. And actually, many new potential members are discouraged by this. The security and privacy board would be a great addition to the forum. |

Forse mi sono espresso in maniera ambigua. Intendevo dire che il lancio di BITO, che è un ETF su future bitcoin (quindi con tutta una serie di”problemi” per quanto riguarda la redditività) è stato lanciato ed ha raccolto un billion di AUM nella prima settimana. Nessun altro ETF aveva raccolto tanto, soprattutto dato che non avevano raccolto ordini “pre lancio”. Un solo ETF aveva raccolto più ordini al lancio (e non mi ricordo quale), ma la stragrande maggioranza erano ordini già piazzati e coperti. Ovviamente poi BITO è cresciuto molto poco (anche a causa del calo delle quotazioni di bitcoin), mentre gli altri ETF sono cresciuti molto. Ora BITO ha poco meno di due billion di AUM, mentre per gli etf più grandi siamo attorno ai 500 billion. |

non seguo attentamente le vicende argentine, quindi scioccamente potrei dire fesserie, ma credo che se come dici tu Milei che vuole eliminare la banca centrale, non farà altro che spedire l'intera nazione a morte finanziaria certa.
non sono tutti giovani e che sanno muoversi nell'era virtuale, c'è da fare i conti con anziani e gente che di tecnologia ancora non è pratica, e quindi eliminare praticamente dalla circolazione il pesos è una mossa estremamente pericolosa.
Guarda che se Milei abolisce la banca centrale, la moneta d’elezione sarà il Dollaro US. Di certo non il bitcoin. E di fatto già amplissima parte dell’economia era dollarizzata. Di fatto quindi non cambierà granché, se non che l’utilizzo del biglietto verde sarà di fatto legalizzato. |

Also, they want to avoid the GBTC risk of no go on the first date. They made good money with GBTC shares, and there is no point of simultaneously finance a competitor, and risk a discount widening in case of SEC denial. I wouldn't read too much into this move, frankly. |

If this is the "genesis block address", why I don't see the coinbase? I would have expected to se at least 50 BTC on that address, but I can see barely 50, after this 26 BTC sent.
And On the Genesis block, I can't see this transaction... Is this because it's the same private key, but a different public key format? Public key/ compressed public key difference?

Io credo che i Bitcoin per gli argentini possano rappresentare una miniera d'oro per loro. Lo stipendio minimo in argentina è di circa 11000 pesos che valgono meno di 100euro. Praticamente meno di partecipare ad una campagna firme qui sul forum! Ovviamente è un esempio di basso profilo ma può fare capire che a loro si può aprire un nuovo mondo e ottenere uno stipendio molto diverso e più importante del tradizionale pesos

Is that referring to the creation of a website, and attempts at monetization? because there are a lot of bitcoin related sites that allow playing around and manipulating of data, but no need to register. Or are you referring to google spreadsheets?
I was referring to the fact that the user could have her inputs saved on the chart upon returning to the webpage. But @bitmover did a very good job storing the data in the browser cache, which is a great privacy-related feature. So, no need to register. |

ETF approval is nigh, the real question is: "Will GBTC be in the same batch as the other issuers"?
Yesterday there was an X-space with the two BBG gurus Balchunas and Seyffart and the hypothesis that GBTC would be excluded from the day 1 launch surfaced, they both more or less agreed on that.
This could have massive implications for GBTC, which actually saw the spread narrowing to less than 6%.

Matrixport came out with a report today stating or predicting rather, that the ETF won't be approved on January 10th as many people are anticipating, and the price of bitcoin plummeted and lost about 8% of its yesternight stroke early hours of today.

I don't know why i missed this (any other relevant ETF-related thread around?) The Matrixport report is just rubbish and pure play speculation. On the very same day they issued a different report claiming there would have been a price jump to 50K due to ETF approval. Rubbish. Like the fake news a few weeks ago, everyone is trying to squeeze extra profit from this process. And I cannot blame them. |
