Ok, why not go off topic... matthew thinks this thread is dumb anyway. In simulating neural activity (which I know little about), how detailed are the models of dendritic arbor and spines?
Warning, jargon below: I mean do they attempt to model all the postsynaptic feedback factors (AMPA and NMDA receptors, various GPCRs and G-proteins, etc) to level of the cytoskeleton, or is it just calcium influx -> greater weight? Also, how is the weight of each synapse adjusted according to distance and number of branch points from the soma, is this corrected for dendritic thickness?
What would the effect on firing rate be if a certain treatment increased the proportion of distal dendritic branches while decreasing the number proximal to the soma (i.e. results of sholl analysis)? Assume same input firing rate, homogenous spine density, etc.
You gotta be paid by BP. Just gotta...

More arguments about something that can't be proven or disproven in this lifetimehttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=62099.0Is global warming real? Yea. So is global cooling. It was called the ice ages dipshits, and it wasn't because of a lack of pollution. You say some stupid shit sometimes. Seriously. These "Ice Ages" didn't happen over just ONE century, like we are seeing now with global warming... Anyways lets not bring that debate here...

The flaw is that no one needs to prove what you think they need to prove.

Sounds like he has not done any of his homework...
But then again why would he?

Coinhunter I still don't get why the 12 million coins are needed to protect the network.
Can you please explain it to me in explicable detail?
I think you owe me at-least that much.
P.S This is a serious question RS. Don't dodge it like you always do.
Lets do this 1-1 WHY ARE THE 12 MILLION COINS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE NETWORK?

Not surprised.
You are like the Patriot fans GeniusX.
Bandwagon to the core...

Buddy,
You just need to RELAX.
I can't stress that enough. Not having enough friends IRL can make that much harder to do, because believe it or not, we need individuals in our lives to get our mind off things. If not we go nuts within our own creations.
Start going to some Bitcoin meetup groups, "get social", and I think many of your problems will be ratified.

Not as much fun without Atlas here though ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Banning Atlas was a mistake.

I was doing dual 6990's water-cooled, with an active pump, and a Zalman Reserator (with fan). After about 4 months of consistent use I can say it is not worth the hassle/ time/ money / hazard that comes from running high powered video cards at max settings with even the strongest pump (I paid over $100 for mine) or the best cooling mechanism. Bottom line is, it's not as stable as getting some fan cooled cards. Or better yet some FPGA's (need more money upfront, better long term ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) )

For those of you who believe the crap al gore spews, then you need to have your fucking heads examined. You guys do know that one of his most recent purchases of realestate was a fucking home on the shoreside. U'd think if he really believed in that shit he was spreading, he would have build something up in the hills. As for the OP, speak that truth brotha ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Real intelligent.

This forum is epic simply because of the amount of free speech allowed. The conversations get intense, but I love every second of it. Vote against.

Solidcoin was the answer to everyone problems. Now Solidcoin 2.0 is. Solidcoin 2.0 was the answer to everyone problems. Now Solidcoin 3.0 is. Solidcoin 3.0 was the answer to everyone problems. Now Solidcoin 4.0 is. Solidcoin 4.0 was the answer to everyone problems. Now Solidcoin 5.0 is. repeat ad infinitum...
This looks like the output of the following loop
while(Coinhunter.wealth < 0xFFFFFFFF) Solicoin(version++, rand());
+1 lol. He needs to get rid of the "protection fund", and start issuing out coins from scratch. Hell he can even charge the tax (to help foster community growth or w.e lol) but the damn "cpf" and 13 million coin premine scares the crap out of me.

Yes, there we go. That is what this thread has been about. It only took you three pages to get beyond your stereotyped way of reasoning. Unfortunately consuming this info takes time, and I am still only reading introductions. Honestly there are some similarities between pharmacology and climate science (response of a system to an external forcing), perhaps I will try to move my career in that direction.
It's rather unfortunate that you must belittle it because it's been demonstrated that that propaganda has indeed swayed your opinion. Actually it makes sense - in order to cover up the embarrassment of you having fallen for said propaganda (Richard Lindzen), confusing it for real science, you now feel the need to indicate that the information I have provided is of no consequence to this thread. Please state what you think my opinion is. In case it got missed due the fast pace of this thread... I really want to know this. I think you believe greenhouse gasses are not a contributing factor to Global Warming when in-fact they are. If that's not what you believe, then you are just simply trolling, and trying to push false ideas on Internet for whatever incentive (money?) it may be...
