It's all about number game right now .Lightning asic sold 75 MH for 12K and now they are selling 90 MH for same price .

I dont think theyve shipped any yet. they just have prototypes and claiming they are in stock

If you check their official thread , they have already shipped about 86 MH miners already .

forum members have already received them?

Can someone tell me how long do those ASICs last? and why?

perhaps years - depends on quality of manufacturing...

http://iroi.seu.edu.cn/books/asics/Book2/CH01/CH01.htm

but i heard a lot of the BTC asics last for a couple of months, why isn't it the same here?

its just all about ROI... these asic's lose value quick after they are released and in the market

the zeusminer seems like a better deal

18mh for 3k with 100% (now80%) free cloud hashing upgrade and shipping May31

to my knowledge they have never delivered anything to anyone yet

true.. but neither has hashra to an extent.. sure they've resold gridseed's but this is the first time theyve delved into the hardware fab side of things

895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 28nm ASIC Scrypt Miner on: April 29, 2014, 06:26:48 PM
With Zeusminer's now doubling their hashpower via cloud based mining promotion im not sure what is the better option... 15MH for 3.5k mining for 1 month earlier, or 36MH for 3k mining one month later

quick math.. with current BTC price and wafflepool earnings per mh/day the JTMiner 15M $3500 unit would ROI in about 104 days, and with the Zeus promo their 18MH(36MH with promo) $2999 unit would ROI in 37 days, making the JTMiner ROI around August 15th-20th and Zeus after releasing May31st would ROI July 10th or so.

still havent sold this locally, if someone wants to make me an offer please do!
897  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3.55mh/s scrypt rig (5x 280x) on: April 22, 2014, 04:50:25 PM
Yeah. I'm in the same boat- can't sell a 3.5 mh/s rig for $1500 when it's only making $5-$6 a day.  Sad

That is exactly why no one is buying it my friend. A 300 day return of investment is unacceptable in this business  Sad

IMHO GPU rigs are better sold for what they are: videogame graphic cards. If you attempt to sell them as rigs you have market @ around 200-300$.

Yep. Your best bet is to try to sell it with 1 video card in it as a regular system and sell the rest individually or part the whole thing out.

yeah that may be true.  I got an offer via Craigslist, ill probably go with that as parting it out and selling everything individually would net me 100 bucks more maybe than selling it as a whole.. not worth the hassle
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: April 21, 2014, 07:45:04 PM
To be honest I can't understand the appeal of being paid in coins that are not even mined by the pool (BC et al). The pool would have to convert via BTC anyway, so why not just take your BTC and buy your POS (pun intended) coin on your own. Am I missing something here?

Great condition, couple months old, wife just got the Galaxy S5 so no longer have need for this one.

Comes with Smart S View Flip Cover and a screen shield so the screen is in mint condition!

It did suffer a short drop once so there is a slight scuff on the chrome corner but no cracks and didn't affect phone in any way. (you can barely see it unless your looking for it)

BTC 0.83 shipped

Escrow welcome
