881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] SonicScrewdriver - First coin over TOR with functional anon send - 0% prem on: September 15, 2014, 12:27:55 AM
I'll take some of you Popcorn  Grin. I have another question. How is SSD similar to Stealth? What advantages does SDD have, and what advantages does XST have if any over SDD? I fairly new to Crypto trading and am still learning, any advice or tips related to trading would be helpful. Obviously your big fans for SDD, but what advice would you give to a newbie trader?

So Stealth has an app out that allows for encrypted transactions to be sent over sms via an app. SonicScrewdriver on the other hand has anonymous transactions where the SSD receiving address is different from the TimeVortex address it was sent to. This also means you could use a single address for donations posted somewhere and each donation would go to a different address and those that donated wouldnt be able to see what others had donated either.

Now that sounds amazing! SSD has real potential to reach XST levels.

In all reality, it should.

First, look at the bittrex status page and you will see that both coins are usually 1 & 2 in the number of peers, which is an excellent measure of network health. Both have excellent block times and never deviate more than a minute or two form the target of 60 s.

But also objectively consider a number of attributes of SSD:

1. Tor built in
2. StealthTransactions, which give excellent anonymity
3. Full featured wallet with the latest optimizations
4. A solid dev who is attentive to all the little details of a coin, never letting a bug go for longer than it takes to fix it

[edit] I should mention that 1 & 2 together make SSD the most anonymous coin at the moment, so yes, it's hugely undervalued.

XST is a little different

1. Original design of the code base for both coins
2. StealthText, which puts anon in the hands of anyone with a cell phone
3. A large team with a lot of talent and ideas, as evident from the OP, website, etc.
4. Potentially ground breaking proposals for StealthSend

the 20% claim

What's the 20% claim that's bothering you?

Wow, still don't know what we are talking about? This: PoS interest: 20% annually

Yeah. If you stake your coins, you get 20% annually.

Good luck...this guy struggles to get his point across I think...perhaps he is arguing with himself?

Yeah. Horrible fud. I think the quality is going down these days.

The evidence is in Hondo's paper (bull sheet) when contrasted WITH EVERY OTHER ESTABLISHED COIN out there. You want exam[ples? Look them up yourselve. EVERY SINGLE ESTABLISHED COIN out there. Bar none.

Quote whatever is bothering you. No one can tell what you are complaining about.

I don't spread false rumours (sic), I post evidence. Always.

1. You "(sic)"ed the British spelling of "rumors". That's pretentious.
2. You haven't posted any evidence of anything you've said.

No. 20% presupposes that you stake your coins.
That is blatantly lying.

It's in the code, dingdong.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 14, 2014, 09:07:12 PM
Simple indeed: 20% presupposes 25% staking

No. 20% presupposes that you stake your coins.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 14, 2014, 08:55:38 PM
That would be 25%.... or maybe much less... it would depend of how many coins are staking... the average of those I guess.... then maybe not, because if the coins staking are over (or under) the average of all coins -Hondo has quite a grasp on this... if albeit obfuscated-, then the total will be altered accordingly.... Oh never mind...

You are babbling.

The OP says 20%. Shall I dig up the relevant part of the code for you that says 20%. If you stake your coins you get 20%. If not, you get 0%. If you average those staking with those not, the inflation rate is about 5%.

It's that simple.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 14, 2014, 08:44:49 PM
Does someone already know how the obfuscation of the blockchain will be done ?

On what is it based ? Has it already been done before ?

Thanks.

Not of the blockchain, but obfuscation is what has been done since the announcement here promising 25% interest which is not 25%, not even close

If you stake your coins, you'll get 20% interest. If you keep them on an exchange you'll get 0% interest.

More fudsters. This pump is going to be a doozy.

The accounts responding to the troll is just their own to make it look like people care about what they say.

No. There is something wrong with me. I respond to a lot of trolls.

Here, I'll make up for it:

Please stop replying to trolls. Big announcements from the dev team today. Can we please stick to this? Thanks.

But the trolls are so faithful. They aren't like cats. They don't eat as much as dogs.

The do potty everywhere, though. You have to take the bad with the good.

I feed them. They are like pets for me.

And you feed my BTCwallet  Grin

Three-peat. My pet is chasing its tail.

Sit.

No you haven't, you and the other fools still believe that alt coins will be a success, wake up!

Ah, so you are a crusader here to save the world from alts and you are starting with XST.

Good luck with that.

You just keep investing like a good boy  Cheesy

best thing to do is to put this dude on ignore list.  worst troll ever.  he even failed troll class.  its like failing clown college.. only worse.

Still on your lead boy, good doggy!

You are really the worst troll, and that's not like worst as in effective, but worst as in comically ineffective.

You and the rest of "we" should read some back posts in the thread. You've made a few mistakes here that would be obvious to someone who has done that. It's clear you don't know much about the coin, which is understandable. But your lack of knowledge is obvious and undercuts any effect that you are trying to achieve. You should pick a new coin and try again. And take the 0.75 BTC that your "team" has managed to scrape together and hit a coin that isn't doing 500 BTC of volume per day.

Just some tips.

Will this be a big success like Catcoin pmsl

"Catcoin has such excellent fundamentals, it will be a success. Catcoins have been cheap all day."

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Okay, good. But you see I moved on from that experience and learned from it.

You should learn from yours.

Why don't you quote some of my more recent posts then do some math.

I think he just needs a hug now.

Yeah, I need to work on my empathy.

You just keep investing like a good boy  Cheesy

Feel better with that out?

You invest while we get richer!

We? Interesting.
