Hi ck
im running cgminer 4.9.1 version in my raspberry and i just saw two accepted works /1000 connected to solo.ckpool.org , but i didn't receive anything in my btc account, can you check is that the same block or 2 differents ?
brgds
Two 1k shares accepted is not the same as finding a block, or two blocks. but its suppose to share only if finds a block, no? specially if its a solo Yes this is a solo pool. But you submit shares similar to a standard pool. This gives us miners feedback from the pool that we are indeed mining. A 1k share means your share you submitted met or exceeded the 1k default difficulty set by the pool on startup of your mining. As you submit more shares the pool will adjust this difficulty up or down according to your hash rate. Then you can verify that hash rate with what the pool is reporting.

Not all the spikes seem to apply at the same time. But some does, so it doesn't seem like a single unit, but not always the same either. I have that with my S5, maybe you have a combination thereof?
The big one is you blatantly losing connection for a few minutes however.
I am thinking network because I am not pulling 50 amps continuously and I am sized well under 70%. I am leaning towards net, I loaded a couple of things like wireshark but I haven't seen anything obvious. I will take a stroll through my connections again and swap some cables, think simple for a bit and proceed. Much Appreciated and thanks for the solid pool, I'll get my connection solid as well. Not sure if I cut this post down to size correctly but I'm trying to help out this user. I will first say, you are on the right track but I don't think you will accomplish anything much but lose sleep. I am running Verizon FIOS here (fiber optic to the house) and still drop many a packet. When I questioned my provider, I was told that this was normal behavior as they customarily restart network flow to ensure that old connections aren't draining system resources...yada, yada. All I am stressing to you is this...don't chase a ghost! If you wish to proceed, by all means & methods, I wish you luck. I hope your hair can stand the pulling. Good Luck & Happy Mining ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) That being said, what is your ping loss on a continuous ping to stratum.kano.is?

Here's a dumb question. Why is there a decimal point in the reported bestshare stats for a given worker?
Because that's part of the number. Why guess when you can be precise? Given that only the whole number counts, it seems like a high noise to signal ratio. Do we really need 12 digits of precision? Also it's a bit depressing when there's twice as many digits in the fractional value as the whole number. My Compac sticks have got a long way to go ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I think it's just the number that Bitcoind dishes out so they display it directly.

A new round of massive transaction spam is underway again (won't affect this pool significantly as I've already put in place lots of customisations for this purpose).
Another round of massive spam. Over 20000 transactions, over 56 MB in size. We need BIP 100 asap. Since it's artificial, no we don't, yet.

Your in the Bitcoin forum. You need to post in the Altcoin section. Don't waste your time and electricity mining Bitcoin with your GPU.

It's not a Windoze version problem. It's a Security Essentials/Windows Defender problem. I got the same thing with WinVista and Micro$oft Security Essentials.

Ok but which version from windows built that supports: - SCRYPT to mine altcoins - Gridseed asic scrypt 80 chip blades
You need to post this in the alt coin section of the forums. You are in the Bitcoin section. There were some GCMiner forks that may do what your asking so go to the alt coin forum and ask there. Good Luck, Sam

Post to the S5 thread or to a thread that supports that cgminer fork. It's been posted several times (and is in capital letters in the thread topic) that this thread is for the OFFICIAL release of cgminer.
Stop creating noise by pretending to be the responsible user of this forum, when in actual fact you are just signature-ad spamming. If you are un-happy about a post, just report it to the moderator rather than spam us with your nonsensical posts (you've also just done that in the S3 thread!). He's just stating the obvious, which in turn will help the person who posted the original message, who obviously doesn't know where to turn for help. I don't see why you should have a problem with that.

The CGMiner developer asked you to post in his support thread. Edit: I'm not going to click on your link you provided so I have no idea what your error message is. You should be able to copy and past the CGMiner text output to the code tags directly to this, or the official support, thread.

Since that block wasn't really an orphan that makes #295 a 148.376% Diff block. Isn't that correct?

denigrating what the majority of people mining BTC consider good value, but I'll leave you to your own devices.
I mined NMC with the "majority" because I had no choice, NOT because I thought it was a good value. It's good to finally have a choice to not mine worthless alts. Thanks for that Kano!

So your saying that since the network as a whole had a period of bad luck, people shut down 70ph of hash during that time? Hash is Hash in the network, good luck or bad luck does not change how many miners are connected.
Nobody has any clue as to what the actual network hash rate is. It can only be estimated based on the rate blocks are solved.

It confuses allot people when they use block instead of round. They aren't interchangeable terms.

Maybe I missed it, I apologize, but why are there two numbers under "Invalids"?
A search for the word invalids found this Any reason why the invalid share count went up by 10x?
Hmmm ... good spot. My guess is a rejected block (I'll check and see if it was one of my rigs ...) EDIT: Nope ... best share on of all my rigs is 828,477,642 and biggest cum rejected share 279,149 It's one user who sends "hi" shares after setting a very large diff on his worker. He's been playing with his worker diff settings for a while ... Maybe he's trying to game the diff by changing it ... it wont work ... but I'll ban his account if he keeps doing it. ... and I've updated the web site header 'Invalids:' to show share % and diff % So it's easy for anyone to see that the invalids are being messed with ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It resets every block change ... so ... hopefully ... soon

Thanks for the reply.
I guess what I meant by which address found it, was which user/btc address submitted the winning share.
Bitcoin addresses don't submit shares. On this pool you can use your Bitcoin address as a worker name but that is a different thing altogether.

So my question is how did he already received a payment for the last block?
Kano always posts in this thread when he makes payments. He hasn't posted yet. Also, is there any way to find out which address found the block?
