882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site closed? Why? on: August 26, 2017, 10:28:15 PM
I'm still curious after directbet closes its site and then keep popping up some gambling sites shutting down their business. But after looking at the auction section I was surprised to see rollin.io auction off his site and they also said that his site was for sale.

What exactly is happening on the gambling site?
Does not the gambling site give big profitable to the developer?
if the developer will continue to get the profit from a gambling site, then why did they shut down the effort that has been built since long?

Do you have an answer to this question?
Let's discuss it.

It's called cost of doing business.

For example, directbet was On-Chain bookie, which mean they were paying TX fees on every bet.
And with this/current $6/transaction, they have 3 choices:

1. Transfer the cost to clients: this mean client to not get anything on a winning bet under 0.0015 and even then, this is hude -ev
2. Make a min bet of 0.1 for example and continue to cover the TX costs. But how many players are betting min. 0.1?!
3. Move to off-chain betting like the rest, re-writing their whole platform.
4. Close the site.

And so on.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Price-of-currency Betting on: August 26, 2017, 10:24:11 PM
Is there Price-of-currency Betting at any site? Like it was Bitcoin Betting at btc-e (bitcoin isn't principled for me). Help me find it, please.

Yes, Onehash have it but you need to be very careful betting there.

Site is OK. But they use mutual betting odds calculation, so every bet is changing the odds until the very last second.
Just look it, read the FAQ and watch one market from few hours behind to it's closure.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missed out on DeepOnion, looking for next big airdrop on: August 24, 2017, 11:55:23 PM
Well it seems I missed out on DeepOnion, am now trying to keep a look out for next big airdrop that's simple to enter and with the next potentially well put together altcoins

It wasn't exactly an airdrop as they required to wear their signatures and many more conditions.

You could check daily for new airdrops in those two sections:

Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins)      https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)     https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Just your Ctfl+F and search for airdrop on new topics.
885  Economy / Gambling / Re: theBTClottery on: August 24, 2017, 11:50:51 PM
When I open your site the whole Header I see is: WELCOME TO THE BITCOIN LOTTERY.

Instead I want to see:

- Jackpot
- Participiants
- Time to next draw

Also, fix your title: thebtclottery - it's not very attractive.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NXT pump coming soon on: August 20, 2017, 11:45:57 PM
I got on the train just a moment before IGNIS 1st round to get sold out Cheesy

Now I believe that there will be a pump on NXT in next 2 weeks. If IGNIS  round 2follows the round 1 success, the price may goes to the moon!
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: buying btc with xrp... on: August 20, 2017, 11:42:15 PM
im trying to get my head around buying btc with xrp.
Is there an formula to apply to compare the values against aud?
ATM xrp/btc is low, it seems like a good time to buy, but is it?

I really don't get your logic.

Why would you use your Ripple to buy BTC right now. As you are saying xrp/btc is low.
Ripple is just under <4K satoshi and this is 3 months low.

If you lost your faith in Ripple, it's ok. But otherwise you need to wait for XRP to rise and exchainge it for higher amount of BTC.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Segwit is activating. Lets take a moment to thank everyone on: August 20, 2017, 11:38:17 PM
It's early for celebration. Still there are 2+ days until the full activation.

It's almost impossible, but if the hashing power get a move to BCH  in next 24-48 hours, Bitcoin will be deadly wounded.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum plus on: August 20, 2017, 11:34:10 PM
For me this project is SCAM.

They are trying to use the Ethereum name to gain funds. And now there aren't any updates on the project.

I didn't/wouldn't invest a satoshi in it.
890  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin to paypal on: August 20, 2017, 10:13:11 PM
Hello i am a pretty new bitcoin user but somehow I managed to get 0.05 btc. I wanted to transfer them to my bank account or PayPal and I tried  sites like payticoins or onestpay but I've just probably got scammed for 60€. My question is: do you know any good sites where i could exchange my bitcoins to PayPal or bank account? I am using blockchain wallet

Most of the service who offers BTC to PayPal are scam.
PayPal is reversible. BTC not.

I will not make a list of legit/scam. But I can tell you the easiest way to do it on your own, without even paying 20% margin on that.

1. Just choose some site who is offering BTC Virtual Visa. Use the search function.
2. Register and make yourself a Virtual VISA (0-$2).
3. Deposit funds there
4. Upload the funds with the Virtual VISA into PayPal.

And you are done.
891  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦♦♦ Coinasino.com | 3 Stunning Games | Multiplayer | Bitcoin only | Fair on: August 20, 2017, 09:59:50 PM
I like your site. It's nice looking and I have few suggestions:

1. Add watch tab for all bets. Sometimes people just love to watch what is happening without registration. Check any of the big names.
2. Increase the Affiliate commission. Currently almost all of dice sites are offering better terms for their partners.
3. Remove the gradient from Top Nav tab
892  Economy / Digital goods / Re: GOD DICE SIMULATOR v2.4 : let's crack the odds - by simulating your own strategy on: August 20, 2017, 09:56:16 PM
Move your topic to

Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Digital Goods

Your spreadsheet looks good and good coded. But I don't understand why you are wasting so much energy on 'calculating' something you can't beat in a long run - the house edge.
893  Economy / Gambling / Re: User vs User gambling on: August 19, 2017, 11:20:06 PM
Let's make some rules how betting will be proceeded, favorite sports and escrow guy and we could start the fun Smiley

But at least for me, escrow is a must.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GameCredits at $1.75 right now a good buy? on: August 19, 2017, 11:14:02 PM
What do you guys think?

It reached a peak of $5 before the correction...could easily go x2 or x3 imo to return to previous levels

I think there will be a new low ~$1 before any correction.
They still need to release GExchange  and Game.GG before any real chance for increase. Until then they will only fall.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: digibyte speculation (august and september) on: August 19, 2017, 11:10:07 PM
I still think there is a light in the tunnel for Digibyte and I have a buying order at 99 satoshis. I hope somebody to fullfill it before the rebranding and then price to rise. If nobody fulfill it until then, I plan just to cancel it and forgot abit DGB.

896  Economy / Gambling / Re: User vs User gambling on: August 17, 2017, 10:35:55 PM
User vs User gambling

I am up for it and we can use escrow to avoid any loss.

My skype : casiokbtc654@gmail.com

we can create group and gamble with each other.
User vs User gambling

I would try it for sports betting and of course escrow Cheesy

How often do you bet?
Do you have some stakes in mind?
Do you spoke with some popular escrow guy on this? Fees?
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins needed for martingale on: August 17, 2017, 10:32:31 PM
Just use the Search function.

If I recall it correct, on 49/50 the biggest losing steak was OVER 20. Which is enormous amount of money if you play even with 1 satoshi starting bet. And it's pointless to lose your time on 1 satoshi bets. More over most sites have timing limits for bets under 100 satoshi, making you to wait 1-2 second between bets.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple still viable? on: August 12, 2017, 12:01:05 PM
I don't like Ripple for few reasons: It's "The banking" coin and devs have a way too many coins to drop off.

In past few months XRP already lost 66% of it's value and I don't see a reason to goes up. My guess is that Ripple is slowly going to its Jan level of around 1000 satoshi.

It's not viable.
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question Saturday 08/12/17 Is Bitcoin going up to $4300 in next 2 days, Y or N? on: August 12, 2017, 11:06:27 AM
Min prediction is - N.

Most likely it will first drop to 3,300-3,600 level and then if manage to surpass the 4,000 barrier, it could goes to 4,400-4,500 in matter of
hours.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've been banned from every decent UK bookmaker - Where next? on: August 12, 2017, 10:49:04 AM
I don't think you can get banned from playing if you just winning legitimately. Likely OP has been doing something bad that would result in his bans.
I am not sure why he mentioned trading, I think it is no where near sports gambling or even gambling in general.

Seems you don't have any real knowledge on sportsbetting.

Almost every fiat bookie and lately even few bitcoin bookies are limiting to 1-5 euro per bet every winning player. Is some cases - direct bans.  One of the few exceptions, but not always, are Pinnacle, SBO and 5Dimes.

By trading, OP meant trading on sports betting odds in betting exchanges like Betfair for fiat and BetBTC for bitcoin.
