Can't wait to read some reviews.
882  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Case Wallet launches Pre-sale at Techcrunch Disrupt! on: May 04, 2015, 09:39:57 PM
How accurate are fingerprint scanners?  Ive never used one.

I'm thinking this device is for more day to day use and not for storing large amounts of bitcoin?  Not sure if I'd feel safe putting 20+ coins in one and putting it in my safety deposit box.  I'll give it some thought though.  Looks very cool.

I've never heard of this celery exchange their partnered with to buy and sell coins though.

Volume would of been higher but there are no more asks.  There's a 1.7 million dollar bid waiting to be filled for $35 a share.

Investment brokers can't just buy bitcoins for there clients.  If a client wants part of there IRA in bitcoin this is the only way to do it until a true etf like COIN.

Ask wall on stamp is gone.

What's up with the 2k btc buy wall at $240 on stamp?
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: May 04, 2015, 04:33:16 PM
Seems like this will have little effect on exchange prices since no new bitcoins are being bought.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia / China Ban and strict US Regulations - Impact on: May 03, 2015, 07:23:40 PM
China wants to be the next world economy.  I have a hard time believing they will concede bitcoin to the united States.

New statement from Barry.

“Everyone wants to know when they can start trading — this is the Bitcoin Investment Trust, symbol GBTC. There were many, many steps along the way to be a publicly-traded vehicle, and I’m very proud of my team and all of the lawyers that got it done. But, we’re done. So essentially on Friday last week we sent out instructions to all the shareholders who have held for twelve months, and [explained] how to deposit shares into the brokerage accounts. That process — if you act fast, if your broker doesn’t sit on it — it can be 24 hours. So, we have no reason to believe we won’t start seeing trading — I don’t know if it’ll happen today — but it could happen tomorrow, but obviously we don’t have any control over it.”

So are we in the takeoff phase since institutional investors are about to come in?
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bold statement: Next target is low ~$700s (Awaiting scream of laughter) on: May 02, 2015, 01:02:24 AM
This could easily happen may 18th when xbt provider launches on NASDAQ Stockholm.  There purchasing bitcoin to cover each share sold.   Only need a few investment firms to want to dip there toe in bitcoin and that will translate to millions of dollars.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOOKING FOR PUMPER!!! on: May 01, 2015, 03:44:24 AM
I'm interested.  Would you be willing to call the coin bitcion?  Might be able to fool people with the misspelling and cause a pump!
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: April 30, 2015, 04:49:30 PM
I honestly just don't think any of the shareholders are in a hurry to sell there shares.  Few have probly even opened the email to read how to transfer there shares.  Its not like bitcoin is there only investment taking up there time.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum Computers in the News on: April 30, 2015, 01:04:26 PM
If they can break anything I'd be more worried about the nuclear launch codes then bitcoin.
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 30, 2015, 03:27:54 AM
Cool feature I guess.  Personally I'd prefer to never use fiat again.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: April 30, 2015, 02:21:49 AM
Shareholders probly arnt making transfering those shares a top priority.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: And it begins on: April 29, 2015, 11:09:21 PM
Sounds like 3 weeks at most for cheap coins.
899  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-29] Bloomberg: XBT Provider Launches World's First Bitcoin Exchange... on: April 29, 2015, 10:08:04 PM
Whats the ticker and where can i track it?
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: And it begins on: April 29, 2015, 09:41:05 PM
It starts trading on the 18th of May. Is it going to be huge? Perhaps worthy of having its own countdown?

Lets say a mere $10 million gets invested in the first week.  Which is peanuts in this industry.  40 thousand coins would have to be bought on the open market to cover the shares.  Seems almost too good to be true as this would increase the price 10 fold.
