Dev Dropper, why do we suddenly need ETH in our address? If i recall correctly this wasn't one of the requirements when the thread started. I did comply per request, however if you are unable to read the thread for a couple of days (like i did) and then you don't have the time to read through all posts (which i did read) and req are changed then you have a problem  Just my 2 cents Yeah, it changed. Maybe the dev has logical reasons why he changed that. Let's see. But it's good thing that he applied the -70%, at least, it will be fair to those who voted though they spent lil effort on that. Means that to those who didn't get the -70%, they wanted to participate whatever activity the movement has and not only just waiting for the free coins...  If I'm not wrong this was an airdrop rule from the beginning, you must have something like 0.01 eth (I don't remember exactly). Dev didn't changed or maybe I'm missing latest news |

What's the generaal idea about Wct and miners reward here? I'm thinking of buying a few of them. Do they have any future value?
WCT is the Waves Community Token. There's a total supply of only 10 million WCT. Here's some information on them: Waves community token
Waves platform is all about custom application tokens and community based projects. Now, once we have basic token functionality, we start building crowdintelligence-based mechanisms for projects approval and screening. It should engage the community to monitor and vet the upcoming projects, and provide more exposure to valid projects. You might consider it to be some sort of DAO with enhanced security through a certain degree of centralization.
The Waves Community Token (WCT) is intended to provide a tool for community assessment of crowdfunding campaigns launched on the Waves platform and incentivize long-term holding by providing an additional income stream for WAVES token holders in the form of regular asset distributions. WCT will be a virtual community organization. It will be launched in several stages based on the technical maturity of the Waves platform.
Projects launching tokens on the Waves platform can request different services, exchanging these for a certain share of their overall token issue, which will be distributed to WCT asset holders as rewards.
Services include
- Business side verification
- Proof of Concept verification
- Token specs advice
- Help with testing
- Help with product and services integration
- An introduction to community
Based on current functionality the first stage of asset implementation will be as follows:
WCT will be distributed in stages over a period of 9 months to all Waves holders excluding exchanges. Distribution will take place on the 15th of each month based on a snapshot of WAVES balances. 20% of all WCT assets will be distributed in the first month, with 10% distributed each subsequent month. In this way WCT will constantly add value to all active holders.
The next phase of WCT operation will involve using the upcoming voting functionality. WCT holders will be able to vote for different projects. This will provide some level of community-based KYC and screening.Thus WCT aims to reward long-term holders, incentivise community engagement and provide added value to new projects hosted on the Waves platform.
The first distribution of 20% of all WCT tokens will take place on January, 15 2017. It will be distributed to all waves addresses excluding exchanges proportional to the average of daily snapshots of their balance.
As you see, there will be an important role for WCT in the near future of WCT, after the distribution has ended in 2 months. A noob question: doesn't you seem that wct is going to do what Waves should do? Why WCT if there is already Waves? Second question: I'm a waves holder, how can I participate to wct distributions ( ok snapshot of balance but after where I send it)? |

for this round maybe? doubtful but maybe! but certainly not for the rest. there is already way too much pending like voting in newbies oh not to forget the #2 vote also! so the end it isnt! I hope the next vote will be made as a poll, choosing among different options. With the actual voting system dev has too much work to do behind the scenes. But ok, this is the Genesis and all the Genesis start with something of epic. |

those that did vote but did not vote on number 2 receive -75% and their first vote is not considered or calculated. they are allowed to remain as founders.
those that have voted for both, are the only valid votes calculated.they are the founders and receive full benefits as such!

Your dubts are legit but the way you explain it seems just criticism. Give us some proposal! It seems dev is working in a fair way doing the best. Let's try to help him, don't you? If at the end this coin will has a value then good, alternatively no one is going to die. My two cent. gosh ... you just might be the only person who ever understood me.... you are very correct... its criticism. and meant to be exactly that! the thing is ... i dont hide it! i dont sugar coat it! and i am not a politician so i am certainly not PC and i dont even want to be as a preference. without two opposing sides of anything the value can not be held. black without white? a nice sandy beach without water is simply a desert! the two extreams have to co exist good and bad . so yea its full blown Criticism. my idea is... if you did what was required then your in if not your out ... no grey lines.. replaced only... simple as that... as far as the hard cap goes... we are no where near even 700 people on the list ! so if we have to wait and vete untill 2000 or 3000 this would simply be the death of this and would turn all investors away because we cant even get that amount to sign up for free! and by the time we actually do arrive at those amount of participants it would mean nothing anymore as all value has been pissed in the wind! so each and every cretin that voted for participants like 10000 or more is simply a waste of time and a waste of virtual ink on your virtual paper on your desktop! ! and causing this to become a joke! I agree with you. At the same time doors have to be opened to avoid that the stupids of ever start calling this project scam. They must not have any reason to say that. So I think we need an agreement . |
