881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Bad Economy on: April 08, 2023, 08:31:26 PM
I'll be honest, is this financial advice yours?  I don't understand if you are telling us to be careful about investing in Bitcoin in a forum that talks about Bitcoin or if you wrote the first thing that came to your mind.  Obviously Bitcoin is decentralized and inflated by nature so it is natural that it scares traditional finance, indeed it will be its worst nightmare.
In my own opinion the post was very basic and a repetition of what has been said a lot of time. I wonder if some members actually understand what they write or they actually write what they feel the forum wants to hear.

Bitcoin is volatile just like every other Crypto-currency in the market, but the level of strength of bitcoin admits all of the volatile and it’s price value makes it a better option for any one who can afford it. This isn’t a financial advice.

Newcastle has started to pull all the big money moves that they are now capable of doing because they are owned by an Arab billionaire still they are currently playing amazing football.

It’s hardly a small minded team goes down in the first half and has the mentality to equalize and still win the match at the end of the day, to me they aren’t a small team themselves.
883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every Bitcoin Purchased is a Vote for Decentralization!! Poll on: April 08, 2023, 07:30:48 PM
Holding Bitcoin as a bitcoin enthusiast is very much different than holding bitcoin as an investor but the bitter truth is that we have people more concerned about the investment qualities of the bitcoin in their wallet than the actual decentralized qualities is can offer.

I won’t like I do want to make profit and it’s understandable to see Bitcoin as a good opportunity for investment, but failing to see bitcoin for its other qualities like fast transactions, no government interference, decentralization and so on then you know you not different from those against bitcoin regardless of if you own some yourself.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 07, 2023, 08:54:13 PM
Tank David faces Ryan Garcia. This has to be the fight of the year, for a long time Ryan Garcia has been calling out big fighters and no match had taken place, I see this as the biggest test for both men yet.

If I am to place a bet I would go with tank Davis I believe he is more technically gifted than Ryan Garcia and he surly punches harder too so I believe he should win this bout.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 07, 2023, 08:22:53 PM
It’s high time we all stop the unnecessary speculation right now guys, yea we are well aware the huge role Elon musk played in the public growth which turned it to a price surge for Dogecoin.

I still don’t think Elon musk still has that influence or he wanting to own such influences on Dogecoin. He owns twitter and he can decide what’s best for his business and it’s just coincidence the small rise on Dogecoin.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin overshadowed by economic lie on: April 07, 2023, 06:30:55 PM
It won’t call Any criticism against Bitcoin as an economic lie. You only need to check the meaning of economy and you would know that’s not an enemy of bitcoin I believe you meant government lies against bitcoin.

Well every one has access to the internet and can read up articles  And news even with the propaganda by government forces against bitcoin even in my country crypto-currency is frowned at I still make use of the internet and news and can decide which is best for me as an individual.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 06, 2023, 08:45:19 PM
The appointment of Frank Lampard shows that the new Chelsea administration aren’t solid in terms of handling a professional football team. It’s been down heel for Chelsea since the present owners took over.

My biggest problem with them was the move to saw to the sacking of Tuchel. I think he is a solid coach and chelae was in a haste to sack him and employe Graham potter who hasn’t has hood experience handling a big team.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: April 06, 2023, 07:50:36 PM
Well I would tell your the harsh truth, and that’s one of the main reason people give up on their businesses and that’s expectations. Many small and medium scale businesses owners have the narrative that they should be earning big time form their businesses.

The competition in any business now is huge and this factor you must consider when trying to grade how successful your business has been. I think you should not close your business just yet and weigh in factors like are you getting less than you putting in, how competitive is your business, have you found a better alternative and so on.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 05, 2023, 08:35:39 PM
I believe Barcelona deserves this defeat. They have really felt untouchable this recent time especially after beating Real Madrid three times .

This is a very important game for Barcelona and if they lose this they would be left with only la liga to be won this season. Well there is still time let’s see what they do.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 04, 2023, 08:56:10 PM
The match is almost over right now and currently it’s still playing out as a draw. Both Liverpool and Chelsea has been a calamity this season I must be honest.

With all this dropped point I doubt if they would make it into any position to qualify them for any of the European elite club competition. But we still have over nine or eight matches remaining for the league to round up.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains value haters on: April 04, 2023, 08:24:03 PM
Using my locality as an example I have noticed the resentment for bitcoin and Crypto-currency has reduced. This isn’t to say that it’s been eliminated but it’s not as it use to be.

This shows the world is developing and more people has started to find out the more benefits Crypto-currency offers them. I think the adoption level of Bitcoin would scale up in year to come.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 02, 2023, 08:35:42 PM
Chelsea had finally made the decision and sacked Graham potter. Honestly it’s painful, after enduring unnecessary loss all in the name of giving the coach a chance.

All that is nothing because the coach in the end got sacked and now Chelsea is in a very bad position in the English Premier League standing. Chelsea joins Leicester in the latest list of clubs who has sacked their coach.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 02, 2023, 06:41:05 PM
I don’t know about the rest but the case of FTX I would have seen it coming, the case of FTX was not all about it crashing, FTX has circumstances that lead to it crashing.

The boss of FTX made some bad decisions and took peoples funds to try to create more wealth for himself. Taking peoples fund without their consent is wrong regardless of the outcome of what he used it for. But in his case he lost big time from using peoples fund leading to a crash. This are the risk of centralized exchanges you should be watchful over.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 01, 2023, 08:24:44 PM
The English Premier League is back and it has picked off from where they left. Manchester City took on Liverpool to begin this weekends line up and emphatic victory over Liverpool who scored first in the match.

In the follow up games today Arsenal did not disappoint their fans as they put away Leeds city by 4 goals to one. But Manchester city and Arsenal too home the same point and goal difference in their respective matches.
895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pitching Bitcoin to a Whale Tank on: April 01, 2023, 07:30:35 PM
My answer to the question is very simple my we need an alternative system to the banking system. Imagine wanting to send money urgently to let’s say a sick friend out of your country and you head to the bank and you are asked to fill so much forms that kills time and not just that you may have to wait because the bank doesn’t work on weekends and transfers takes some amount of hours to days.  This is just one of the many disadvantages of the banking system and using the crypto-currency technology you don’t experience it.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: Is capitalism killing morality in the name of the law? on: April 01, 2023, 06:27:39 PM
Some would argue that Porn don’t directly cause harm to people nor does it cause loss of life. Infact pornography is a thriving business venture that many has been able to make Profits of it.

But the fact that people make profits of some doesn’t make it right if not some drugs should be legalized. I believe pornography should be optional to people of the right age and this law should be enforced and not just by clicking yes I am eighteen makes one an adult.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 31, 2023, 08:35:50 PM
France are always complaining about poisoning of their players, this same scenario was witnessed in last years World Cup when some of their players complained of illness gotten from their stay in during the World Cup.

It would be wise if the France football association can do a comprehensive health check on their players to determine the causes of this constant complains.
898  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Flutterwave hack: P2P users faces account freezing on: March 31, 2023, 07:43:06 PM
I have not been following this news but it has now caught my attention, after this I would do my investigations on it and also check out Flutterwave to see if it’s a legit platform.

Although from what you have written here I don’t see the correlation with the federal government ban placed on Crypto-currency this is a case of hack although I would do my personal research on it.
899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is it that is bitcoin is first in thought in mind in cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2023, 06:49:53 PM
Well the answer why Bitcoin comes readily in the minds of crypto-currency enthusiast first is that it’s the top one. Bitcoin isn’t the first crypto and I know many Newbies won’t be aware about this.

Bitcoin has the highest market cap, price value and also utilities. In my own opinion it’s the safest to invest in, it not controlled by any team or organization, it’s transparent and very profitable.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 30, 2023, 07:26:24 PM
Even if beer was banned from stadiums in Qatar what’s the big deal about that, before the World Cup we had some sort of ideas about the religious laws in the Middle East I don’t think it’s right forcing a country out of their own culture.

Regardless of all the critics Qatar raise the standards in World Cup hosting and I am not going to envy the next host of the World Cup because it would be hard to out do Qatar .
