Market depth @MtGox is frozen like shown below for a couple of days. It does not show actual data.

Ok, I have a backup of the ixcoin bitparking bitcoin wallet - I'm downloading the blockchain now to see if that address exists and the coins arrived. Is 1Eks95X2LozPJSfY7Zi5DRT66vdE7mUzLt an address owned by you? It's the change address from the transaction and can send the 80 btc back to that. Please confirm if you own that address and I'll follow up if I own the 80 btc address.
You are my hero ) Actually I dont know where did you get 1Eks95... address - seems its not mine. I didnt withdraw bitcoins from exchange. But i idid login there with [email]. My address is 1Aw8EB9CLUGnqNHyKfyr8hwpo9NNxqxaS

A new version, 32504, with source and windows binaries is available at http://i0coin.bitparking.com. This version has the following changes: * Add a checkpoint at block 131,130 * Merge patch from bitcoin to fix issues with database writes in the presence of lots of transactions * Add merged mining support, ported from the namecoin implementation The database writes patch fixes an issue that came up when the solidcoin 1 chain was under pressure from specially crafted transactions. I cherry-picked the bitcoin fix for the problem. The merged mining code pulls in the changes I made to enable merged mining. I haven't activated support for i0coin as an auxiliary chain yet as this requires forking the block chain. After a bit more testing I'll pick a block number to activate and provide another update. In the meantime you can test this on the testnet, or use it as a primary chain to mine namecoins at the same time on the main net. See this post for how to do that. doublec, please check your PM

Well, I found who received those 80 BTC. Thanks to google chrome, it reminded me all pages I visited at the time of first transaction.
Sent a PM to the owner.

I actually can't find any message logs associated with this recipient after 2 hours of digging.
I sent him 2 BTC @31 Aug 2011, possibly it was an exchange.
If anyone owns 1ZBxx8Qtpt7nzMcg8ihMQ3MsuMWmTbBUW please refund my 80 BTC payment.
But I personally do not hope for this.

Just mixed up "Receiving" and "Address book" tabs, crap... thay looks the same.
I used to use "Address book" in 0.3.24 client to get receiving addresses.
So I went to "Address book" and picked up some address to send coins to. I was sure it is my address, but this was someone's address i sent coins in a past.
And sent there 80 btc.
What a stupid GUI in new version, fuck!

To be honest, no one can guess weather bitcoin is going to be at $10 or $1 by the the end of the year, unless they actively force the change with there own pocket book.
Negative. This guy has dropped 30k BTC on market just for lulz not so far ago. And this was OMFG English thread. So what? Price was put back on previous trend line in a hours.

I didnt draw bounces and corrections. Just new lows.

I do not know about this rhythm, but the capability of the human mind to see patterns in everything is amazing In last months I always had a feeling that something bad will happen @mtgox in the start-mid of the month. And this was true for now.
|
|
|
I found that start of massive sell-offs on bitcoin market looks very periodic with ~ 1 month period. This picture shows blue lines with new lows starting from highest market price. Closer to the fall start selloffs were a bit frequent. In the mid of the picture they were much massive, but period was bigger. And close to the right period shortened again. Looks like accordion with a center in September. What is the source in those periods?

I still can not reproduce this bug in firefox. Seems it depends on browser.
There is no transparent proxy as I always sit behind openvpn. The host running openvpn daemon is under my control. This issue appears from Netherlands, US (VPN) and Ukraine (No VPN) IPs.

I'll try to catch it with Firefox (Linux), but still no luck. Actually I dont like firefox with their constant major version changes and use it very rare.
