881  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 01, 2022, 07:42:47 PM
Been that Bitcoin is not backed by any centralized authority, community or asset, it is therefore wise first as a currency and not as a store of value; especially for salary earners in developing countries, low income earners and those who live on wages.
Because to be profitable in BTC investment, one must be a high salary earner who invests with money that has no future need, with reasons that volatility will always be a key player as long as BTC exists.
Btc did actually started first as a currency but later on people think it's also good to use it like an asset due to its volatility and the ability for its price to grow higher the longer you hodl it. For someone that is living on a well developed country or those who earns huge, then maybe they can use their btc mainly as a currency to send and receive money but for those who are low income earners, they are finding ways on how to improve their lives and this is where they discovered btc and use it as an investment asset. Low or high salary earner, both can invest and earn a profit in btc. It only boils down on how they handle their btc investment.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Industry experts believes BTC is primed to hit $106,000 on: August 01, 2022, 07:06:16 PM
There is a new report notes that Bitcoin will cross the $100k in 3yrs time by industry experts.
The Fintech firm which consists of 53 industry experts noted that investors should expect BTC to soar to $106,757 by the end of 2025 -468% of it's current price of $21,795 as at press time.
The panel thinks that BTC might sink to $13000 this year due to newer market realities influenced by the crypto winter, current issues and down turn of other part of the economy. The panel also said that BTC will likely reach a maximum price of $35000 before the end of this year.

Fred Schebesta believes BTC will see a new all time high this year, the panelist are also advising investors to buy more coins as there is positive outlook since the market is recovering from the down turn of previous month.

BTC has gained 10.71% in the past week to trade at $21,795 .as of press time. BTC coinbase premium has also indicate a high buying pressure on US institutional investors.
That was confusing, as some experts said that new ath will occur 3 years from now while the other said it will occur this year. Let's just assume that if no ath this year or two then it will definitely occur on 2025 because the halving is already done during those years so the price should also improve.

It's okay if the price can still plunge to 13k. In fact a lot of us are ready now as many have sold at 23k just to have a fund on them. A 35k up before we end the year is also better than seeing the price became stagnant at this level. A small growth is still a blessing so people shouldn't complain with it and who knows maybe that was the start of the bull run?

ETH changed though it hasn't been communicated. I was about to go and make a deposit for some Dota bets and just noticed that some of the characters I use as identifiers on my ETH deposit address has changed. For BTC, it's still the same, though it would be nice if they would inform us about these things because we are used to sending money to the addresses that we already know of since we believe they won't be changed. That or I am not really checking out emails lately.
This is the right idea, you should check it before you send it at all times and not just once. I have been playing here ever since it was opened. And when I tell you that I have been depositing by checking the address 10 times before I do it each time, I am telling you the truth.

Reality is no pretty, you could get screwed by a mistake at any time, and crypto is irreversible, if you do a wrong bank move, then you could at least call your bank, sometimes you will be right, sometimes you will be wrong, but at least it would happen. In this case, it is not going to be even offered, and that is way crypto transactions should be checked many times to make sure you are sending the right address.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: July 31, 2022, 10:35:41 PM
Mercedes has almost recovered all the disadvantages it had at the beginning of the championship.
On the contrary, I believe that with the new rules that will probably be introduced by SPA, Mercedes can become the car to beat.

It is unlikely that they can recover for the world championship even if mathematically it is still feasible.
By the looks of how ferrari is managed, there is no doubt that Mercedes will finish second this year, would be the first year they finish second after so many years, but it would be better than the third they were expected to be, and even lower if you compare how they were at the start of the season (bottas literally out qualifying russell type of moves).

This isn't a say on Mercedes though, sure they got better but we also have to remember that Ferrari probably has the best car out there this year, and they have made so many mistakes that they are literally causing themselves to lose, so if they finish third again, this would not be about cars anymore, it would be about the pit wall making huge mistakes.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: July 31, 2022, 09:55:56 PM
After Rıdvan Yılmaz's transfer to Rangers, the name Tayfur Bingöl started to come to the fore more strongly. He had made a successful impression in Göztepe before. He may have caught the attention of Beşiktaş when he continued the same successful game in Alanyaspor. Considering that we will only play in the league this year, I think the transfer of Tayfur Bingöl may be a good left-back transfer for us.
There isn't really a Besiktas support by the kids anymore, it is not going to be easy for them to target young talent when there are other big clubs which could offer the same amount and get more attention. Because, Besiktas is known to pay them a lot less than anyone else, and they put very low release clauses meaning they do not want them really, they want to make money off them.

It would be awesome for you if you are a kid that could go to europe, but if you can't cut it there, then it means you are going to be in BJK making very little money with very few chances of you getting to another big club in Turkey. So, it is go all in or fold type of situation for these kids now.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Macroeconomic Situation of BTC on: July 31, 2022, 09:36:39 PM
There are numerous major factors behind the current bear market.

Belief in specific characteristics of cryptocurrencies
Ukraine is at war.
People tend to follow others.
Interest Rates and Inflation

Special characteristic of a crypto could be that they are volatile and also decentralized but if people believes in it, will that cause the price to crash? That sounds weird but the action of the people towards a crypto can affect their volatility. It can be that the price will go up if many people buys and hodls but the opposite thing can happen once they sell.

About the Ukraine war, I think there is only a small impact in the price of cryptos because before the war came, the dip are already starting. Third is when people follow others but this is what actually happening now. Many people are buying but out of our surprise the price can still go down sometimes. The last item in your list is probably the one that has a big contribution on the fall.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: July 31, 2022, 08:51:11 PM

We can only dream because Bitcoin going that low is really a fantasy.
Maybe I will buy 1 BTC. But it seems that up to the price it is impossible. Although I know anything can happen. If you look at the history of ATH and the lowest price down so far, it's also not as easy as I'm familiar with Bitcoin.
As long as the consensus and confidence of the global community is not lost, hopefully the price will get better. Although this year is somewhat different due to the effects of the pandemic, making the world face huge inflation.  This incident is also new this time. This makes Investors fearful and prefer to wait and enter when the world economy improves.
That is the point in my mind. If it is 1k again then it means that something must have happened, I am not saying that it is a bad idea to buy there, but the reason why it is there decides the factor for me. If it's there because of some market manipulation and trading stuff then I am fine about it, but if it's there because something wrong technically, and finally someone figured that out, then it is impossible for me to buy it.

So, it's not about if it's 1k or 100 bucks or 100k because I will keep on buying bitcoin until I can retire, and I know I can never retire and I am doing horrible right now financially, but if I do not see a good reason to not buy it, I will keep on doing that.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The unpredicted rise of BTC in 2022-2023 despite predicted bear market on: July 31, 2022, 07:42:07 PM
As I was saying earlier, we can see the signs of a potential recovery as bitcoin is currently trading around $23500.
There might be a chance that $20000 could have been the bottom of bitcoin if the price sustains the current levels.
In that case we might see repeated corrections with the price of bitcoin upwards in every correction.
The difference between having some sort of amazing improvement and having some sort of ignorance about bitcoins increase is the difference people who make a lot of profit and people who are too late.

Bull is a forgiving period, so you could not buy bitcoin from 20k to 50k and you would still get in and make money because then you would make money from the rest of the increase and then there would be plenty of weird coins and tokens that people would throw money at. This is why I have to say that we are at the verge of a bull run right now, it is already started, and people could wait and be too late, but we will make more money than them, and yet they will not make a loss neither.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 30, 2022, 07:00:38 PM
arsenal london has loaned left-back Nuno Tavares to france ligue 1 club olympique marseille. the 22-year-old portuguese made a move to the gunners from benfica summer and made 22 premier league games last season.

Interesting to see Arsenal getting rid of him this quickly. I do not know if this deal is attached with "purchase by the end of the loan" type of deal, but I am guessing that if they liked what they saw with him, then they wouldn't really be doing this, meaning they didn't find him enough. Sure this could be a 22 year old kid finally getting some decent minutes and if he shows himself then he could find more minutes in Arsenal as well, nobody says it's impossible.

But, let's be honest, it's more likely that they won't do that and it would be very tough for them to do something like this. This is why I am not shocked about the current situation, would probably be him leaving for good in the long run.
890  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: July 30, 2022, 08:36:26 AM
Time really flies! I don't think they will do a pre monthly bonus as we just got our monthy bonus but would be a nice surprise. I am hoping for some more good sport promotions such as double or treble winnings as it has been a while before they last offered this.
Recently we received a post-monthly bonus from Stake. They started their birthday celebration with a pre monthly bonus in the previous year and it had ended with the monthly bonus. Maybe they have made same plan for this year too. However, there will be many other bonuses and promotions in between. The new season of premier league will start on the first week of next month. We may see those kind of double winning or risk free bet promo at the moment.
Stake is generous if nothing else. They will surely do a lot from here to next month, all of august will be filled with amazing shiny stuff. They always knew that, the path to get a lot of gamblers would be to give them rewards for being loyal, they knew that the first day they started. Primedice, even on very early days, had leveling where you would get more faucet earning when you were higher level. Meaning, from the very first day, to today, they knew that the more you gamble here, the more you earn here, and that means people will prefer here.

It's not just about rakeback/cashback type of stuff, it's about gifts, because gifts say something that cashback doesn't say, it is "we appreciate you being here with us" and that's what they will do in august, and in September and anytime after that.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 30, 2022, 06:48:41 AM
Quote
It's time for bitcoin to be more stable and less volatile as it is today, I hope that the price rises and falls no more than 5% per day, this can happen if the bitcoin marketcap can reach at least 1000x of the current marketcap.
Yes, the time is very near for people to experience stable pumping of Bitcoin because their teams are seriously working to make people to experience bullish season before the end of this year 2022. I don't think, this bearish season will continue next month before bullish market will start for long term traders to smile again in the market, because  the price has increased to $23,000 few days ago.  Showed that other coins are preparing to increase higher for their investors to believe that bearish season is about to over in the market.
It's clear that 23k was a good increase, we reached 21k and around before but 23k hasn't been reached that much until a few days ago, which is a proof that we need about the fact that we could go on about our business and increase the price again.

What people are not realizing is that price of bitcoin will go up eventually either they are in it or not, bitcoin won't wait for you, and when it does go up, some people will be too much behind to realize it. Maybe it wasn't this time, but it could be next time and unless they are there, they will be upset with the result and there isn't a thing they can do about it when it is too late. So either get in now, or just don't get in at all.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 29, 2022, 10:08:05 PM
Currently the two best teams in La Liga are Real Madrid and Barcelona. Although we can see that Real Madrid's rating is currently much ahead. However, Real Madrid and Barcelona will soon be on par in terms of the number of players Barcelona are buying into their club. But still considering the direction of the game or the direction of the player, Real Madrid will definitely be ahead.
From a player perspective, it seems that Barcelona are now looking to win the title again after a few seasons of their absence to win the title because a major reshuffle occurred when Xavi took office, even though it seemed that they did not care about their financial condition.
But obviously in this case Madrid are one step ahead because regardless of now Madrid are starting to regenerate their players and this means their aim is not only for the short term but the long term.
From the players perspective, Barcelona is in a "win now" mode and if they do not, it is going to all come down on their heads. So, they either accept that risk and get a job there and play their heart out to win something, or else they are going to be in a club that they signed with which doesn't have the money to pay them anymore. That's a risk I wouldn't take as a football player at that level, these are all huge names and instead of getting 5, you could get 3.5 and instead of having a possibility of 5 not being paid, you could guarantee that 3.5 instead. Anyone who doesn't see the financial trouble should fire their agent and find a new one because even I can see that.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 29, 2022, 09:33:41 PM
I agree with the last part. A few weeks ago, I posted here that African countries would perform really good in the world cup, if players like Pogba, Lukaku and Boateng decide to represent the country of their origin instead of the UEFA teams. But as you posted, there is no guarantee that these teams would even qualify for the world cup. If Lukaku decides to represent Democratic Republic of Congo instead of Belgium, then there is a possibility that the former may fail to qualify and we may never see him in the world cup.

BTW, I don't have any personal enmity with these players. Lukaku was born in Belgium, and it is his choice to represent that country.
But as for the first part, we can remember how badly played (and not in one game, but in several at once) the teams of France and England in the League of Nations. And this does not prevent them from being the favorites for the upcoming World Cup. I think we can evaluate Germany in a similar way. In fact, it is not known which of these teams will be in what shape at the World Championships, plus how luck will turn out. I would not underestimate Germany.
I do agree that big clubs played badly in nations league but that was only because they didn't care about that and it is only a glorified friendly and nothing more. Now? Now we are talking about that actually means something and that is why I agree that it is going to be something special.

I know for a fact that England would not play the same for example, because they wouldn't be changing the line up to see who is available, they will be actually putting all the best they could into this, and play the way they know, they barely lost the Euros just recently. So, I believe that we are in for a big ride, and that is going to definitely be awesome for all the viewers.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 28, 2022, 10:28:07 PM
Still not sure about Pogba's situation, he will probably need surgery but 2 more visits are ongoing.
Pogba is prone to injuries and has had very nasty and long-term injuries several times in the past. If he has had those operations, the question is how quickly he can recover. And before he is back to his old level, we are also busy for a while. They were able to get him transfer free. Maybe still on the market to see if there is another midfielder for sale somewhere? Juventus have a healthy bank account, right?
This is a bit different though, he didn't even played for the team yet, and he is already injured. Meaning, the whole plan of Juventus was to play him on the midfield and hope that he is still better than most Serie A midfields and overpower them. If they could have gotten that, then they would have played for the championship. Without him on the pitch, that would mean that it is not that much different from last year.

In fact, so much so that they are missing some crucial players in the lineup from last year as well. So, I am guessing that this won't be easy for anyone at all, it will probably take a while and it will probably be a bit of a problem for most.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 28, 2022, 10:17:59 PM
PSG front line is now too perfect because of the many great players who are there, so I don't think PSG should really think about many changes in the front line next season but not with their defense line, what Galtier said is true because if we look at PSG failure in the champions league yesterday defense was one of their weaknesses, maybe in ligue 1, PSG defense is quite strong because there is no other club in ligue 1 that is better but not so with the champions league which is filled with strong teams that have a club balance both defense and attack, so if PSG want to be able to compete strongly in the Champions League next season of course Galtier must be able to improve PSG defense.
I think it wasn't really about changes to the roster, but changes to the mindset and strategy that will make them better. In the end if they end up with something that would be profitable for them like very hardcore training, or a new tactic on the pitch, or some kind of new pressure defense, whatever it is that they could change with the same roster, that could help them win it.

Definitely messi, neymar, mbappe trio which didn't play too many minutes last season, could be awesome but lets face it, there is no guarantee that they would play all games together this year neither, meaning it will be hard for the manager to rely on just those three players.

Yeah I will have to agree with what most people are saying in this thread. If you cannot make it yourself and you do not have the money to buy the people who can make it for you, then you are out of luck. There is no way for you, a online-casino-newbie to put hard work into your project therefore I doubt you will find any investors who will be interested unless you are very slick at talking. You can try crowdfunding. But you need to show a very detailled and nice idea of the project before anyone will even be interested in listening.
What if he can be one of the customers first where he will also play gambling inside a casino and who knows maybe he will get lucky and win a big jackpot there. That will be a way a nice way to achieve his dream or he can also use his skill to earn and save up some money. He had a nice skill which was still in demand nowadays and the pay for that skill is also high. That one is more surer than gambling. Having some skill can be helpful in creating our own gambling site but nowadays there are now services which can do the job for you. The only thing that you will be needing is a good amount of money to pay for their service and also to keep your site running.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2022, 09:33:29 PM
Actually I think the same as you too. The chemistry in the team would reach higher levels in time as long as they don't decide to rebuild the team suddenly. When it comes to Horford I believe that he is still performing really decently despite being 36 years old now. Maybe they can make slight changes but this shouldn't affect the main starting five players much. This team deserve to play in the final series once again and to reach the championship at the end as well.
It is not about Hordford, they could replace him with someone else and still be at this level, it is about other players. The only big glaring problem they have right now is Marcus Smart, he could be a pesky defender but we have seen him do horrible when he was against Curry, meaning he could be stopping players at a regular season level, but he is not the type of defender that you would want to defend at finals level, hell even during most playoffs.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't be expecting them to keep Smart, nor Horford for a long time. Meaning a package deal with both of them to get someone younger and better would be better for them, so it is not a rebuild, but a good adjustment has a potential.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 26, 2022, 09:36:36 PM
The race was really horrible for Ferrari. Leclerc's unfortunate crash made him very frustrated. He was very angry for some time after the incident. These things exist in Formula 1 I'm afraid as everything can change by only one lap. However Ferrari were at fault as well. The reason is that they still can't give a proper-working car for Leclerc and Sainz both. After scary events in the Austria GP this time Leclerc was out of the race. Sainz also had a bad race because of a bad pit and unsafe release.
The problem is that team had the data from the rear tires which means that they could have pitted him earlier. When you are racing at the head and you are about to win and if you can't end up pitting at the right time and then you get a rear tire imbalance which sends you off to the wall, that's going to piss you off a lot.

I know it looks like a normal crash that happens a million times, but it was about the team again which is a problem for him. Dude is aware that as long as the team keeps making on these mistakes, even if you give him the best car then he is going to end up losing. He had the best car that day and he still lost, because team failed to read the data on his tires and didn't pit him earlier.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 26, 2022, 08:30:54 PM
I'm just sure Messi will return to Barcelona not as a player but more likely as a coach or whatever. He may be able to join for free next season but only if he is willing to cut some of his hefty salary I doubt about that actually so there is little chance of seeing him as a Barcelona player again next season or the next.

PSG probably won't let him leave for free at the end of next season and it's possible that Messi will get another year on his contract before the end of this season. He looks more comfortable now at PSG and as we can see, Messi has also managed to score a few goals during this pre-season.
I am not sure about that. Maybe he will play another season or two with PSG, but there could come a time when he is 35-36 or even 37 where he would be wanting to retire back in Barcelona. He may not be the player he used to be by that time, but that will mean that we are talking about Messi here no matter what.

So, he could come back with like 5 million salary or even maybe less who knows, and then we would talk about something possible and would be something about finances already done by that time, they could afford that. It is really a logical next step, but if he doesn't do that then Messi would definitely be 100% amazing coach for sure, there is no denying that.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Prices Are Getting Higher on: July 26, 2022, 02:52:00 PM
5 days ago I read that one of the posts on twiiter USDT is temporarily down https://twitter.com/paoloardoino/status/1538155542643888128 and are there other factors that make usdt stronger?
I am not 100% sure how the mechanism behind USDT works but in general stablecoins are operating in a way that is trying to make sure that the price of one USDT is always at exactly 1USD. This means that the company behind USDT is minting new USDT when the demand is high and the price of one USDT is starting to become higher than 1 $ or they are burning USDT when the demand is low and the price would get lower than 1 $. This usually works pretty well when the market is realtively stable but when that big Terra Luna crash happened a few weeks or months ago the whole market was shaken and even a huge project like USDT cold not hold it's peg 100%.
The idea is that there is this company, and that company has printed USDT and sold it for USD and then when you want your USD back then they will get your USD and give it to you. It means that there is a company that gives you something that could be traveling the whole world for 10 cents even if you send 1 billion dollars, meanwhile keeping the "real" money in their bank account.

This means that we are talking about the money staying in a vault until someone needs the actual cash, until then it could travel the world 100 times without spending a dollar on it. If we kept using USD instead of USDT then we would have spent billions on it and that’s how it works. All based on people trusting Tether company.
