"Only invest an amount you can afford to lose."

Probably one of the most common advice I've heard when it comes to investing in bitcoin; and I've used it a lot of times too.

Honestly, this is one of the best advice I've ever received in terms of cryptocurrency investment, because when I sat down and thought about it, I realized it's a lot like gambling, but with a few differences: in cryptocurrency trading, if you don't sell, you're not a complete loser, whereas in gambling, if your predictions are wrong, you lose everything. So, in my opinion, it is still a good idea to invest the amount that one cannot afford to lose, in order to keep focused even if the market is down and wait for the proper time, rather than panic and sell at a loss.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 07, 2022, 04:25:14 PM
I looked at the graphs of several cryptos and it is clear that bitcoin has now entered the green zone status and it is possible that the bear market will leave the bearish status and now fly away with the bullrun. it's almost too late for those who expect the bear market to go down again, but the reality of the bear market is no longer waiting for the losers who expect another fall. bitcoin has been able to rise from a slumping price of $33k so that the current market price of $43k is really strong support this week.
That's my own opinion as well, because bitcoin has experienced such a 30 percent increase in just two weeks, and the graphs are in recovery mode, I believe the bear market has come to an end for the time being. Those who are still waiting for a deeper dive should start investing now, because Bitcoin will soon bring smiles to our faces.

Finally, the African Cup of Nations has come to a close; congratulations to Senegal, Africa's 2022 Champions. It's a well-deserved achievement and a well-deserved trophy; congratulations to the entire squad, especially Sedio Mane, who worked extremely hard. Also, kudos to the Egyptians for winning the tournament's silver medal.

One year dun pass since our government through CBN run this matter, i wan ask something, how una feel say this matter dun affect crypto for Nigeria for the past one year? Has our community been affected by this policy. Any possibility dey say our government go fit lock up this matter this year onto say election go soon reach and dem go want make body sweet us?

Na true talk o. So like play like play e doh reach one year weh CBN and that Godwin Emefiele ban Nigerians from trading cryptocurrency. Na anniversary weh e supposed be sef. I no go lie, that ban matter really discourage many people from doing cryptos as nobody want to do anything weh go make CBN ban them accounts.
This our country matter self they somehow, like seriously that ban wey CBN been put provide fear for many people body, even people wey been get plans to invest in crypto they fear make CBN no reason their accounts. But as it is like this, are they really monitoring people account, because people still they do cryptocurrency transactions and them accounts they active, abbi na me no know the exact ban wey they? 🤔
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 06, 2022, 09:00:11 PM
Vinicius and Benzema are not in Real Madrid's starting XI today. Can we see the expected performance from the Real Madrid team today? I don't think so. We have seen the poor performance of Real Madrid against Elche and Athletic Bilbao in the previous two matches. Real Madrid drew with a weaker team like Elche. And Real Madir lost to Athletic Bilbao. Granada is not a weak opponent. Without Vinicius and Benzema, it will not be easy to defeat an opponent like Granada.
For some key players to be absent on the team doesn't mean, it will reflect in their performance, although this two players are very important to the team, because both of them makes the dangerous attack that scare opponents. Nevertheless the score line is 0-0 but in this match, we are expecting goals because Real Madrid will want to win the game.

senegal - egypt

who is betting that senegal will win the game?

who is betting that egypt will win the game?

I personally am more in favor of egypt winning this game
I bet Senegal to win because I have faith in the Senegal team, they play as a team and they have player that can penetrate the Egyptians defense, but right now the both teams are playing with caution, no one want defeat, as everyone is trying his possible best to maintain his position and defend his team, let's see how it will end but I still stand with Senegal.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 06, 2022, 08:37:05 PM
The way results goes in this  weekend FA CUP was shocking seeing Middleborough winning Manchester United and today Nottingham forest won Leicester city comfortably was shocking a scoreline of four goals to one. That shows how good Tottenham are winning a premier League side like Brighton three goals to one comfortably.
The score line for this FA cup is really offset, imagine Middlesbrough defeating Manchester United, maybe that's why Norttinhamforest have that confidence and they made it as they defeated the  premier league side Leicester city, which means the next round of the FA cup will be really interesting to watch as every team is now demonstrating their ability to perform.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 06, 2022, 05:59:40 PM
I really thought that Atletico was going to win this game, and even more so when they went 1-0 up.
But really this year on a defensive level what they are doing is completely disastrous. You can not score 4 goals this Barcelona.
The only hope for Atletico this season is the Champions League, but playing like this they won't get anywhere. Many times I criticized Simeone for being defensive, but this year that he wanted to be more offensive, he was left very badly behind and he was not very effective up front either.
Diago Semione is Atlatico Madrid's only problem right now; they absolutely need a new manager with a different mindset; his priority is always defensive, despite the fact that he has players that can compete with the opposition. Well, it went well for Barcelona; a 4-1 victory is not easy when you have a red card, but I believe they are totally back in the league and their new players are doing well.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: February 06, 2022, 05:32:11 PM
The covid19 pandemic occurred as an accident, but it also teaches us not to rely on one source of income because many people lost their jobs, and some poor people became poorer, but some millionaires who were in business doubled their assets. What I mean is that we should have another side hustle that is highly reliable, even if the pandemic affects it, it will be easier to recover. If you have some stable coins in your wallet, like as USDT or BUSD, and a pandemic occurs, the crypto market will turn bullish, allowing you to buy against a stable market period.

In 2021 Btc have many up & downfall ,still now it’s again moving toward the downfall ,as it was expected it will touch 100k at the end of 2021 ,does it still expected it will touch its peaks in March ?
I don't believe the cryptocurrency market has a clear direction because bitcoin prices fluctuate, and whenever Bitcoin prices begin to fall, virtually all Altcoins follow suit, proving that the market fluctuates up and down. No one can predict what the price that bitcoin will be in two months, but there is always hope because of people's faith in bitcoin.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 06, 2022, 02:29:59 PM
FA Cup games more or less went the way of the favourites yesterday, after some mild shocks weathered by the first two Premier League teams, but I doubt we'll see any surprises in today's opener -- and that's not me being an arrogant Liverpool supporter, just purely on the basis of the first 20 minutes of the game where we've not only been in control, we've had a few chances already --  when VVD is taking shots from the box, you know it's on.

Just looked like we escaped giving a penalty, Konate my man. Crowd at Anfield is popping, Diaz warming up too!
Liverpool have finally proven that big team in England, as they find it easy to dominate the entire Cardiff team, there performance was excellent as they took both the ball possession and chances created, with this match, I can't say but I still see hope for Liverpool in the premier league title race with Manchester city 😔.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 06, 2022, 02:11:59 PM
After the fight for the third place is officially owned by Cameroon, now is the time to wait for the final match between Egypt vs Senegal for the champion of Afcon. I predict that Senegal will be the champion. My reason is because Senegal is unbeaten in this competition and between duo Liverpool Mane is more productive than salah,  If Egypt has won this competition many times, maybe this is the time for Senegal
Football is a game of luck, but it can still be predicted; this match will be extremely difficult because the two Liverpool superstars have demonstrated their effect by performing admirably in their respective countries. Both teams are deserving of the medal for their efforts and dedication. However, I anticipate Senegal to win 2-1 because they have a good team that knows how to work together and are unbeaten in the competition; also, Sadio Mane is a very dangerous player who will strike panic in the Egyptian defense.

These trading tips and advice sound very good, and they're probably the right direction for new traders. I find these tips very encouraging because I can see some of the mistakes I've made and some of the things I've overlooked while trying to make a profit, and I've also learned the value of taking risks. Such advise is excellent and I recommend it to all beginners in cryptocurrency trading in order to minimize loss.

Great come back from the host of the African Cup of Nations, it gladdens my heart to see them come this far, although I intially wanted them to go further than this.
I think this is one of the best come backs in the history of Africa football.
A big congratulations to the host of the African Cup of Nations, I think Vincent Aboubarkar will be the highest goal scorer of the tournament.
It's not over until it's over, this is a good example of it Cool
I'd want to extend my heartiest congratulations to the host country; it wasn't easy to come back from three goals down in less than 30 minutes; this is a well-deserved victory; at the end of the tournament, the host country becomes the tournament's silver medalist; congrats to the entire Cameron team.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULDN'T THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOKENS BE MORE SUPERVISED ? on: February 05, 2022, 09:36:56 PM
These days, the number of scam projects in the cryptocurrency space is really getting alarming.
It seems as if creating a cryptocurrency or token is as easy as opening a facebook account, and that's why rug pulls and other forms of crypto scams is rampant now.
Shouldn't the blockchain technology restructure their requirements and tighten their audit methods to prevent or to an extent, reduce this menace?
I think some progressive actions should be made, like more strict supervising and audits and as well, due consequences should be attached to defaulters.
Cause it's really disheartening the loss being recorded everyday due to elaborate cryptocurrency scam schemes.
Yes, I believe this issue requires special attention because almost every day, new cryptocurrency projects are launched, causing many innocent people to invest in the project, which then turns out to be a scam. If there is a way to introduce regulation or requirements that make it difficult to simply create a scam coin or token, as well as a monitoring body to ensure that fake projects are limited, it would be extremely beneficial because scammers are always looking for new ways to make money.

I want to know with what platforms you are working with.

Great Day
There are many crypto exchanges that are really good and can be well recommended for beginners in order to give them proper guidance and adequate service delivery in terms of cryptocurrency training transactions. I normally use Binance exchange, KuCoin exchange and sometimes I use Hotbit exchange too also I do use pancake swap incase I have some tokens I will swap probably if the token is not listed on Binance, KuCoin or Hotbit. Those are the cryptocurrency exchanges I used, and I fully trust them and I believe they are recognized worldwide.

The thing there be say many people wey join memecoin, them been join am because them missed out on dogecoin or shibainu, na them be the type of crypto-currency hodlers wey no Sabi research, I no give memecoins any credits I believe say many of them they get utilities wey them no fit manage like P2E, Play to earn gaming platform and even Nft collection, bottom line them no look real again.
I believe u 100%, because some people self they follow hype wey people they give must if those meme coins, in order not to miss out the opportunity as they way they feel they miss during Dogecoin and Shibainu time. After they don jump buy coin, if the project no come go well they will be complain instead of doing a better research before investing.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 05, 2022, 02:59:06 PM
As many clubs has tried signing players of their choice, I can't see any news that Arsenal FC signed any player, I just see the transfer news of their former captain Aubameyang Goin to Barcelona on a loan deal, so I am confused, is it me that didn't see the news or Arsenal did not sign any player.
I show concern because before January, I was hearing that Arsenal are eying so many players but no one show face. I am just an Arsenal fan 🙊 that's why I asked.

Newcastle - Everton is one of the opening matches on the new week. Newcastle made some new transfers and I wonder how much powerful they will be in the rest of this season. They couldn't have made transfers like they imagined yet after being bought by rich people. But they should be focusing on not relegating for now. As they have still added decent players, we will see how they will perform against Everton. Everton are experiencing a terrible season now. Maybe this could be an opportunity to win for Newcastle but I think it would end in a draw.
This match will be one of the most difficult of the week since Newcastle United is striving to avoid relegation, which is why they are signing new players because the club's new ownership has enough money to bring players from all leagues. And if we look at their last five games, Newcastle has won three, drawn one, and lost one to Everton. Everton, on the other hand, has just signed Frank Lampard as their new head coach, therefore they will be expecting to win. This match will likewise end in a draw, according to my predictions.
