881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsta - scammer, rootcoin - scam on: December 11, 2014, 01:27:04 PM
are you guys ok? bitsta is actually a great dev and he plans to release his features soon. dont you understand that VRC BC URO didnt move in price for 5-6months then they started booming? Crypto alts 101.
We hear it for more than 4 months. Get out of here.
Devs of VRC BC URO was working. Your dev scammer only lying.

I think the dev of URO was also a scammer, and dumped the coins.
882  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: !!!SPLASHDASH SCAMMER METHOD/ALL INFO INCLUDED!!! on: December 11, 2014, 01:25:41 PM
Thanks sergvec, I will probably take a break now from Bitcoins. Perhaps when I get back I will be more cautious and only trade with more reputable persons like you. I didn't think much this time as I needed Paypal quickly for the Black Friday sales.
Yesh, its best to be careful, and never trade with new sellers for any amount larger than 20$ to be safe.
I recently required 50$ WMZ as well, and sent bitcoins first to a member account here. Luckily, I didn't agree to sending all the amount at once, and did it in 12.5$ increments.
He ended up scamming me for that, and never responded. But even if you did this, in your case it wouldn't help much due to paypal being involved.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: December 09, 2014, 09:33:33 PM
850CLAM added in 7hours give a 0.85% return in 7hours +/- the loss against players Tongue

If I have coins on just-dice (not invested) do I get a reward? I think dooglus said no, it will be given to investors

I think it would be a great idea to allow people who have CLAMs deposited on the site, to get the Staking applied as well.
But might be difficult to manage.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: December 09, 2014, 04:46:43 PM
dooglus, your going to make CLAM go to 0.01 Cool

0.0054 and increasing! 4.6..CLAM=0.0248.. If you were active in May 2014 you may have 100 of non dust addresses that have CLAM = 2.48 BTC!

1000 addresses = 24.8 BTC

The price should go down back to 0.001-0.003/CLAM as new CLAM is found then it will go back up to 0.005-0.02/CLAM

Why is this thread not in the alt-coin section?

It is.
Wow thats crazy. I don't even know if  I should even buy now. I thought it was high at 0.002, same at 0.003, and at 0.004 as well.
As to the speculation of it going to 0.01 BTC, I don't think it will happen. Even if it does, it will probably not stay there for long.
But hard to speculate.
yeah now its at .0083

this shit is dumb
The current price makes it hard for people to convert their BTC to CLAM and invest on the site.
And if the above calculation that 1000 addresses = 24.8 BTC was right, then now it should be about 43 BTC. Bitcoin repeating itself. Tongue
885  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - LIVE NBA BETTING | sportsbook and casino on: December 08, 2014, 07:03:29 PM
Never Said the sports betting wasn't legit, but i know for a fact the blackjack games are very glitchy and you will lose money from your balance out of know where, usually it double charges you, and it happened to me multiple times, i have had recent cash outs that worked but it stole about .8 worth of bitcoins from me from money missing from balance, and my issues were never resolved and never got an email from anyone.

Why would you even continue betting after it happened already one time?
I'd first clear it up before betting there again.

The actual problem is actually on the side of the casino that hosts it. Cloudbet, simple rents their services.
I have seen a lot of other platforms renting it.
886  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptomine.io - SHA-256 & Scrypt Unlimited Mining Contracts on: December 07, 2014, 09:53:46 AM
It appears pbmining ponzi just collapsed. Who's next?
What do you meanby ,  it just collapsed?
EDIT: Reading their thread now.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: FAKE BITCOINS on: December 07, 2014, 08:58:18 AM
Wow fewcoins has gone full retard on us now. There are no fake bitcoins, just double counting of ownership and people lying about how many they actually have.

What ever happened to the higher-than-average IQ forum members? I feel we are simply surrounded by low IQ's and it's only going to get worse as bitcoin goes more mainstream.

Its always going to happen, specially in the initial years.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC to Bank? on: December 07, 2014, 07:29:30 AM
Anyone know how to get BTC into your bank account? Thanks!
A lot of exchanges allow this once you link your bank accounts to the websites.
You can also use sites like Localbitcoins to get funds transferred to your bank account.
889  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: December 07, 2014, 07:09:00 AM

aab intentionally slow plays the bubble of krillroll which is also against the rules.  Though, I guess aab does seals a service by creating less overlay.

Against what rules?

"A player shall not intentionally excessively stall his turn(s) in order to alter the game dynamic, especially in order to meet a deadline such as a bubble or rebuy period ending."
-taken from the FAQ page
Despite aab from probably being a bot, I have seen a lot of people do that.
It happens a lot even on stars, and I wonder how to the poker sites determine if it is intentional or just to get ITM.
890  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Toasters to Mine Bitcoins on: December 07, 2014, 06:55:30 AM
I don't think they would be able to mine bitcoins at all. even if they are hacked someway to mine,
then they will only be worth using for altcoins.
891  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining Bitcoin solo on: December 07, 2014, 06:52:20 AM
Hi i see the network of bitcoin have not many miners like i thought because of pools i guess, is it possible then
to start solo mining for example with 25 TH/s and catch block with little luck??

Thank you in advance for your time.

I think neither solo mining nor cloud mining is profitable, hence mining in itself is not profitable for a long run, and now as time passes by with less BTC for miners as rewards for finding block chain would come into existence hence it would be more and more risky to gain something out of mining
That might also mean that the price will be driven up as less miners will dump.
THis might start happening by next year.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 07, 2014, 06:50:37 AM
The price is so sideways right now I'm neither losing nor gaining how boring Tongue
It has been this way since the last 2 weeks. Unfortunately the auction didn't make any difference either.
But its hard to argue. When price was over 600, it was stable, and since it was a strong price no one cared if it was stable or not.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 07, 2014, 12:02:43 AM
To the moon baby. I'm loving 'dat' bitcoin. This market is bullish as fuck.

That's the spirit lad.

THat has always been the spirit of people investing into bitcoin.
I guess we need more people believing in the technology and not only the price or bitcoin as an investment.
894  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 Free NetFlix Accounts almost daily :) on: December 06, 2014, 11:59:20 PM

895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? on: December 06, 2014, 11:57:26 PM
Bitcoin is now what? $470? Is it possible that bitcoin will reach that kind of worth a year and half from now?

Anything is possible.

Is it likely? No.

I think it is likely that it will reach 2000$ before the end of 2015. To achieve this goal we need to have more new buyers than sellers. As the price goes up, miners have to sell less to pay for their electricity costs and want to hold to enjoy the rally which push the price even higher.

Well you can't say that miners won't sell. if the price goes up to 600$, they would insta sell. A lot of miners, aren't in it for holding, they are in it, just to make that profit they can .
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Automated posting on: December 06, 2014, 11:29:56 PM

nice orderbook.

Are we going to see some interesting up moves this weekend?

You never know . A lot of people thought that price would go down due to the auction,
but it has been stable for the whole week, which is a strong thing for bitcoins.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com Relaunched! With CLAM! on: December 06, 2014, 11:27:50 PM
I can't believe people fall for this obvious pump and dump. And a shame the once trustworthy site is now used for such scammy business.
What the hell lol. The total volume of exchange today was around 33 BTC, much much more than the regular exchange volume.
And the price did go up, anyone invested fully, would only benefit by 10-15 coins. I don't think dooglus would do that for that amount.
Plus it also includes investments of others.

899  Other / Off-topic / Re: Geek Password Generator on: December 06, 2014, 09:19:46 PM
Hi Everyone,

Need strong (and funny) passwords to help secure your visited sites?

My buddy and I put together a funny geek password generator. Looking for opinions and ways on improving.
http://geekpasswordgenerator.com is the URL.

As always, donations help!!! Smiley

Nice site. Can the passwords repeat for 2 different users/visitors on the site?
Or is every password generated unique?

This seems like a great way to pump a coin. Great idea, I'm surprised Doog went along with it.
It actually did pump the coin. The trade volume today is around 33 BTC and the prices are up 150% from yesterday.
Definitely made a big impact on the price of the coin.
