881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who are the top traders at this forum? on: November 28, 2019, 12:56:45 PM

There are traders on youtube, showing their charts and even doing tutorials and giving signal to copy traders, they seem to be good at what they are doing, top trade of some kind but they may be using different username  here in bitcointalk. Sometimes they mention bitcointalk on their videos and so probably joining some discussions here in the forum. The real good one I followed is dogecoin fan, he trades the coin so much.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 07:30:16 AM
Its pretty doing well for them with fiat though. Its hassle and worry free and can be spent without connecting the internet. The would rather be disconnecting to the net if they were that pro since the government can really tap everything as long as they connect to a cell site. If CIA is going to watch out for these guys, they'd be checking who else connects to internet in the middle of a jungle or in the vast desert.  But with fiat, they roam around the cities untraceable and no scam.

Today we monitor transactions even just the 100BTC, we are already looking into it and where it goes.
883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 27, 2019, 06:38:37 PM

How do you use volume as indicator?  I'm still not that good at trading but have learned some of the trading systems before and they weren't telling about volume being an indicator. BTC does have big volume whether the price is low. There are few indicators that you just need to learn to start but you know when they say shit happens, it does happen when you only understand by the simplicity when they say buy low sell high
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 27, 2019, 05:58:54 PM
My way of earning while sleeping is HODLING; not sure why OP is not considering about holding as it must be an easier way of making big money without efforts.

Holding is not going to earn you crypto but will earn you USD. if you have 10BTC today and you just hold, it will still be 10BTC 3 years after holding it. That's not a good option still. You need to get dirty by investing using the 10BTC you got to let it grow but doing it won't be easy that you can sleep. Those big guys up there don't actually sleep while they have thousands of it, they work harder, trade harder to the point of shilling the coins they try to monetize.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: November 27, 2019, 05:32:05 PM

There must be a bullrun because I'm already broke. Well the chart says there will be bullrun after all its a cycle of crypto, this is the last halving by the way so there will be not halving after this and we may not be seeing this cycle once again. We already started seeing bulls after the price bounce when it hit $3k. We are already in the uptrend for months.

886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 27, 2019, 03:41:10 PM
Lending and bot trading is a no go for me.
Damn too risky and with lending information leaks. I don't like that idea even if I am the lender.

Bot trading have so much issues. You could get it wrong and all your capital will go down with it.
Staking is a good idea but it takes time and same with open trades.

I guess I will choose staking since open trades could be difficult and you might get bored with it.  Grin
With staking you could add more funds for a better return. Yeah, staking it is.

And you can't sleep when you see there are more than 10 people took loans from you that haven't paid yet. That is something that you might just need to call every hour when the due date is almost over.  Its not like doing it offline where you can send your best goon to knock the doors of your loaners.

Staking is good, requires a lot of funds but somehow profitable unless the project ends not the way you expect. We've seen this happen already with Minexcoin.
887  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 27, 2019, 03:12:56 PM

Maybe we will know it later after halving when miners are going to have to seek profit versus the amount of energy they spent getting only 6.5BTC. Prices will appreciate through how much the sellers are going to bid while scarcity of supply kicks. I'm still wondering despite how much crypto news were spread all over social media sites, the demands are not increasing. We are all waiting for that deflation to happen, and I guess right now there are more manipulators who keeps preventing it yet to happen.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Is IBM is on path to bring blockchain to the masses? on: November 26, 2019, 08:05:33 PM

IBM seem to have adopted blockchain already. A lot will adopt blockchain to their systems including these grocery stores and probably even the small companies we know today but the cryptocurrencies will not benefit from all these adoptions unless there will be crypto payments involve.  Just like the Chinese government, they only are interested to blockchain but not the currencies.

Private blockchains of course are just for the record of the companies, its theirs alone we have nothing to do about it. The adoption of cryptocurrency will still be slow compare to the technology behind it.
889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a sign of the next Bitcoin bull run? Or just another bull trap? on: November 26, 2019, 04:42:53 PM

We're not there yet, most of the whales are just accumulating more coins and the news, fake or not seem to cooperate with how they can accumulate more, its a combinations of bull and bear trap at every swing of prices. If the price will dip below $3k as being spread on some articles, we may never know until it happen. The one thing that is sure to happen is that if you panic and sell, they will pick your order.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 26, 2019, 03:42:27 PM
They are picking which project they will support since a lot of the projects these days are just scam and Binance, Okex and Houbi are avoiding projects that are associated with scams for it could ruin their reputation. When the market will be better, these exchanges including the non popular ones will probably launch IEOs every week to get money from people just like what happen to ICOs last 2017. So right now, its a slow pace.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do you make of heavily advertised/shilled crypto news sites? on: November 26, 2019, 02:54:20 PM
why would they run a sig campaign when they are already promoted by someone else  ? isnt that enough for them or what if they dont have enough budget to run thier own campaign  .

no problem on thier credibility for me as long as they are just a new's site or info site  and not a site that grabs money in return for something because i find it shady if they are poorly advertise   .

paying someone else to promote is normal and that is for them to gain visitors  .

The sad part is that if they join the army to spread the fake news like the articles that spread lately about Binance office in Shanghai. There isn't really a way for these new site to verify the things what is written by their authors unless they can provide sources and they got the info correctly.

I don't know either if these article sites are big companies like the Forbes so they could just be spinning articles from cointelegraph or big sites.

Beincrypto are hiring ambassador though and they offer 200€ per month.
892  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Binance acquires Wazirx to offer Fiat to Crypto Gateway on: November 26, 2019, 02:41:24 PM

That's a good news but a bit weird though because the news I heard was that crypto is banned in India. I have seen few threads here in the forum about the government of India not allowing cryptocurrency but this news contradicts them. And surprisingly they do have an exchange there. Articles these days seem really not quite truthful to what they publish.

Congrats to binance and wazirx.com
893  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: November 25, 2019, 05:58:34 PM
Considering women are paid less than men on average, it is totally understandable why they would have less money stashed away to actually invest. Think about it, a man gets paid 100 dollars for something and can save as much as 20 dollars for example (the numbers are made up) well considering women are getting paid 22% less and gets paid 78 dollars for the same exact work, they are down 2 dollars.

So, if living costs 80 dollars, men gets 100 dollars and women gets 78, how could women save money while they need 2 extra dollars while men could save 20 dollars?

Hence, why women can't get into bitcoin as fast as men since they don't have the same amount of power and money as men. There is no correlation between women hiring more women neither unlike one race hires same race more frequently so women have hard time finding enough money to save.

Women can. If the woman will marry the one who gets $100, she saves the $78 if possible.

Women who has enough knowledge in crypto combined to the knowledge they have to the previous industry where they have been could be a stronger attributes to get hired by blockchain companies. Like men, they are also capable of what men can do. Seen some women in crypto conferences and they stood p infront to speak, not all men can actually do it and confidently talk in front.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all exchange going to Alive in near future? on: November 25, 2019, 05:18:23 PM
Most of them will die when they don't generate volume.

20850 exchanges is really a lot. More than the number of known cryptocurrencies, I guess a lot of these exchange owners imagine the success of the first exchanges like MTGOX which wasn't even their plan to be one of the most used exchange during its time and then suddenly scam everyone in there.

CMC should just delete the ones that isn't really used by traders to help the community avoid scam by these. We recently seen one by cryptex exchange who didn't return the $210,000 worth of BTC.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do you make of heavily advertised/shilled crypto news sites? on: November 25, 2019, 03:47:19 PM

Its about competition and money making since they do have ads on their pages. Why they are doing it here is because they found out having a good number of backlinks in the forum made them rank on google search results. SEO still is a big thing for them even when social media platforms already had won the game. Traffic to generate money is big considering this  crypto is a new industry, not all people are still here which is why the race to make money out of the newcomers in crypto had commenced.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 25, 2019, 03:32:35 PM
If there is one thing that I would agree its not getting married. I think I read it somewhere "If you wanna change the world, don't marry" I ponder about it for some time but I only learned what it means when I got married. Too late I guess.

I still like having kids though. Its one reason why people strive hard and work harder to provide for their family and let their kids live better lives. Without the kids, there would be no reason to live.

A good question for you, do you know of any animal species need to get married to have a life? Any animal would do, from your nearby zoo, or aquarium. 😁

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming having kids is a fault. I don’t know of any animal that would settle for a monogamous marriage that what HUMAN species worship it for so many generation, which also limit its genetics to expand greatly to only to conceive the only one person they’re legally bind, and no more, for the rest of life, even after the spouse can be clinically proven infertile, you can’t spread the genetics, a total population control in disguise, or a genetics pool control in a rampant means. I begin to think that marriage is a political move from the medieval age, the very ancient punishment for the emperor to their slave, the emperor hate to have a bunch of animal behaved slave that would go around and destroy the source of quality human that worth trafficking, they decide to force them to get married, does it all make sense now?

Not type of history I have read over and over but most of the kings, they marry and get to have a kid to every daughter of a high rank official of every tribe they conquer in order to make a pact to both parties and have peace between them. All over the countries they gets to have kids. Today genes of the kings can still be trace to their people. We are not talking domination but having kids is important to him and parties he wants to make peace with.

When I'm old, I want my kids to also experience life. But I'd like to show to them to pay taxes and use bank if necessary.

897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How soon the blockchain industry can be adopted, is this within 2020? on: November 25, 2019, 02:52:05 PM
2020 though is going to awake the big companies to migrate to blockchain system because its worth doing than just with the old system where security is always an issue. The dapps today will make these big companies realize they are already behind to the development. But the beauty of it is that they do have all the information and people they can consult with and what to do. 2020 is where we can see a lot of publications about bitcoin and blockchain on traditional media sites.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you currently holding stablecoins(USDT, TUSD, etc)? Think again. on: November 24, 2019, 08:41:04 PM

By freezing means the government will force these centralize entity to edit the smart contracts of these stablecoins?

I wonder what could be done to unfreeze too. Because if it happens that you just converted all your BTC to stablecoin since the prices started to crumble but only to see yourself without funds anymore because the thousands you got are immovable.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 07:38:21 PM
The fact that altcoins like ETH, BCH and others are slowly gaining more use has made me thinking. If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?
I always support a diverse portfolio having multiple coins. I will invest more in BTC because of its dominance but I will spare some cash for alt coins (good one)  like ethereum, EOS, neo etc.

NEO are good to hold is one of the coin worth holding because it sends out GAS tokens for holders. I have been holding mine for years already and continue to receive still. EOS is cheap right now and have good potential to compete the platforms these days.

I'm mostly holding altcoins but just few BTC in my holdings, probably just 20% of my coins are BTC and these are just the ones I trade, the altcoins remain on my wallet.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: November 24, 2019, 06:22:21 PM

Shitcoins can still be added on exchanges though. A lot of them are already on the market. I just checked the telegram channels where I joined and just discovered one token that were only found in on exchange where I have no account was now added on mcaffeedex. Its not the kind of exchange you hope to see the coins you wanna dump but its there.

Now that its listed, I'm curious to see if its really going to be a shitcoin since the team had not scammed any but refunded the investors as well. The token I'm talking is HNY.
