Why I said that you are right is that if you buy at the bottom line of the dip in lump sum and hodli for long term maybe ten years and above, you are very lucky because the market might not experience such anymore since at every new circle the ATH is always higher than the previous one. I only gamble once in a while back days when I just started gambling. It was my friends that introduced me to gambling and it was only when we are together that I gamble. This made me not to gamble without them and we meet during the weekend to have fun. I guess this was one of the reason that made me not to get addicted that much.
