881  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How did Mt. Gox become so successful? on: March 25, 2015, 07:05:31 AM
that time, exchanges in the world is less, and MtGox has more currencies which make mtgox available around the world

So Mt. Gox supported more currencies compared to other exchanges? How was it able to do this?

Mt.gox was the first few bitcoin exchanges that became popular. As it grew more people went and it attracted many many users. It eventually took the money and ran because of all the bitcoins that were being held by mt.gox

Just because a company happens to be one of the earliest in its market doesn't/shouldn't give it a license to do whatever it wants. Why didn't the Bitcoin community realize this when the first cracks started appearing and take their money elsewhere?

Was it because of the fact that Mt. Gox being the world's largest exchange made it have higher liquidity/trading volume/market depth than other exchanges at the time? Did whales prefer to trade via Mt. Gox as opposed to other exchanges because they knew that the market there would be able to absorb their buy/sell orders as opposed to other exchanges where the same trades would quickly exhaust the open orders? If so, then that's sad, but that's the only real reason I can think of.

I think as it is one of the first exchanges people tested small amounts in mt.gox. After awhile, people started to deposit larger amounts and people thought that it was "safe". This kept attracting more and more users. If mt.gox was say up at the same time as other exchanges were up, mt.gox wouldn't be as famous but since mt.gox was one of the first few exchanges people believed that it was safe.

How come when I share it the bonus is 15% and not 30%? And also you could share this multiple times for 15% over and over again.

The website shut down? Huh? Did I miss something?

Deposit was confirmed a few minutes after the website shut down. What happened?

The website is back up but a bit slow. Does anybody know any good scrypt.cc trading bots? I am looking for some.

885  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Member Account on: March 25, 2015, 05:12:20 AM
Usually People sell a member account at 0.05 because It is at around 100 or so activity and can easily become a full member. In your case however, It's at around 80ish activity so I believe the price range should be around 0.03-0.05

889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [DaDice] Signature Campaign Discussion Thread | Join The Fun! on: March 24, 2015, 08:19:34 AM
Do you plan on using marcotheminer's bot for the sig campaign? I know campaign managers are reluctant in using it because the bot doesn't check quality. You should hire a person to do this and update the bot every few days or so. I like it because it gives up to date stats on your post and your rate and how much you will be getting paid. Really looking forward to this in the future!!

This is a good idea to promote the website for other people. Just wondering how much mbtc can I get to wager? I may try and take this offer.

892  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why doesn't ghash buy miners for themselves with revenue? Business model Q on: March 24, 2015, 08:05:14 AM
Many cloud mining services allow you to trade gigahashes and doing this there is a fee involved so that's one possibility. Also they probably earn more money renting them because of the transaction fee and miner fee, if they mine themselves they probably wouldn't make a big profit.

Thank you to the admins! I regained my password to my account and can successfully roll. I hope I roll the 20,000,000 bet!

seems a lot of new posters suddenly sign up to say their account was hacked?

yet all the long time posters and people with 100,000 - 1,000,000 khash never have any issues?

hmmm, a little sus maybe?

An another note, I am yet to have any referrals for Scrypt.cc (not that i've ever given out my link til yesterday) so if anyone would like to sign up with my link - https://scrypt.cc?ref=baaSv i will offer a free DRK coin...have you seen the DRK charts lately?!

0.5DRK up front and then another 0.5DRK once you've kept atleast 2000kash for a month.  good deal?

First 2 people only please.  My DRK are very precious, i've held them for a long time!

Is this offer still available? I am willing to take it if it is as I plan on investing some back into scrypt.cc. Please PM or reply here for more info. Thanks!!
895  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Bitcointalk Newbie Accounts on: March 24, 2015, 05:45:41 AM
Prices are way too high. Would you pay 5$ for an account you could make in seconds? Ask yourself that. Bulk accounts are also much better because people can buy them in bulk to level them up and sell them for much more later.

I think it's because the accounts were created early. Since they were created a long time ago, you only have to make a few posts to get it to say a member account. I think that's why the older the account the higher the price is.
896  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTS - Bitcointalk Accounts (Member) on: March 24, 2015, 04:24:38 AM
You got a price?

Also, it seems like that escrow guy, will be out till tuesday.

I would like a .1 BTC per, due to most are 14 posts aways from hitting full member.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=998371.0

You're....joking right? Nobody is going to pay more than 0.03, maybe 0.04 for these.

Stop trying to rip people off.

Nah someone will but just not 0.1. Full members are 0.07+ so a few posts could do it. I am considering on buying it buy I don't have the funds right now.

Quick question, how is bit-x still mining when cex.io and zen cloud miner are down? Do you still make a profit when selling gigahashes?
900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: March 23, 2015, 08:21:51 PM
The market is still up right now. Should I auction my account or just sell my zenminers??
