881  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe pageant women know more about economics then they let on? on: October 09, 2015, 04:13:19 AM
What benefit do they have in playing dumb when asked questions about the economy or finance? Wouldn't it benefit them to demonstrate how smart they are (in addition to their beauty and poise)?

exactly but then again maybe thats all ppl wanna see on the tv is beauty and who cares about intelligence?
882  Economy / Reputation / Re: please VOD on: October 09, 2015, 04:00:51 AM
I remember when i worked for girlbtc and the admin of that site received a neg mark for refusing to pay a guy out. Vod sticks to his word on his 30 day policy. If you do as he asks and contribute positively you will be out of the neg trust zone. 30 days isnt that long to wait and most sig campaigns will still be there in a month.
883  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should I delete my positive trust given to scammers? on: October 09, 2015, 03:57:00 AM
You should most definitely remove any positive feedback on a scammer so anyone else they try to scam doesnt get the wrong idea when looking at the scammers trust
884  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [poll] lenders fighting scammers together on: October 09, 2015, 03:53:10 AM
i like the neutral comment idea myself. remove it when loan is paid or make it neg trust if not paid. would be cool if members on default trust also stepped in and made the neg mark big and red for em if they dont pay
885  Economy / Digital goods / Re: žitcoin.com on: October 09, 2015, 03:15:22 AM
What kind of pricetag is associated with each domain? Im not exactly interested i just thought users would like to know.

887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 09, 2015, 03:04:25 AM
theres good days and bad days in gambling. sure its possible to have a huge win but i think youre correct, over the longrun you will lose your ass if you continue to gamble
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sports betting sites on: October 09, 2015, 03:00:31 AM
i personally use directbet 99% of the time but i will gamble on nitro as well. theres also betcoin , cloudbet , and fairlay. depending on what youre looking to bet id check the odds on each and every site before laying my bet

nice to see a guy calling players who cannot afford big bets uneducated. im sure that will bring members flocking to play. in all seriousness you really shouldnt act as if small bettors dont matter. its not their faults they cannot afford 2btc bets. little people matter too is all im saying

That's not what I meant at all. And for the record, I'm also not talking about 2 BTC, I'm talking a 2 millions time less, or $0.000242895

And the limit isn't even harmful to small players. In fact, I've seen several players who have been playing **MONTHS** without making a single deposit, and without ever betting less than 1 bit, all from the faucet. This is a behavior I have no problems with, nor do I even have a problem with someone betting a single satoshi. But someone who claims the faucet, then autobets (an average of) 20,000 bets isn't a use-case I particularly want to support, nor do I think it's really gambling.

that i can agree with. 1 sat bets arent gambling but some people do use 1 sat bets in the big hitter strategies and others like to preroll 0 sat bets or 1 sat bets before doing a huge roll. i wouldnt cut those kinda bets out completely
890  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: October 09, 2015, 01:51:23 AM
You're going to have to present the player with two different seed hashes, one for if they bet to win over a threshold and the other for under it. Gamblers can be a suspicious lot, and having two different seeds, one for big bets and one for small could turn them off.

Yeah, I don't see a way around that. But I'm not sure most players will care that much. The educated ones can still easily follow along (and likely aren't betting dust anyway, so it doesn't affect them).

But then again, I haven't been able to get through to most developers to properly use the provably fair, verify it and expose it  (which is strongly in my interests, as it removes doubts). I think 6 months later, probably 95% of volume are going through casinos that don't even bother to randomize the client seed ( even though I've repeatedly shared a gist on how to do it: https://gist.github.com/RHavar/a6511dea4d4c41aeb1eb ), let alone doing more advanced verification or saving the client-seed and hash to reuse if there's an error.  So if developers don't care (even with prodding), I have trouble imagining users do.

Im sure tha manager will clean up the spammers in this campaign. Not only does it make the user look bad it makes the site they represent look bad as well for allowing them to get paid. Give it time i think youll see some changes

i dont quite understand if you and the seller cant use it and you are both talking whats the problem... or the whole  thing is a wash
I think that the seller had a watch-only  wallet, the seller used that to exchange between him and OP. OP got scammed in fiat but seller didn't have any bitcoin at all.

This makes some sense, but my worry is, initially it was only 20 btc, yesterday when i opened the thread it was 205, now its 246, why are bitcoins still being sent to the wallet? I have 2fa for the wallet. I just dont understand what the guy is doing. He has not blocked me from contact and generally answers  my chats, but am wondering why he is so calm when 246 bitcoins are lying in that wallet nd he may never have access to them, i dont know if im missing something

are there any outoing transactions from the wallet? i know you say you have 2fa enabled but check to see if any outgoing transactions have happened. the guy may have a way around the 2fa and would show why he is not worried and is so calm
There are no outgoing even though i received an email from blockchain saying there was a transaction declined, its not only 2fa, the wallet is secured to my ip as well

then is does seem odd that hes replying to your messages and keeping contact but not releasing any money to you.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 05, 2015, 12:05:30 AM
I have seen players win 100btc on luckyb.it and thats not even the max prize. you can also win something like 20-40btc on primedice. you need big money to make big money in most cases but it can be done
894  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betterbets.io vs Rollin.io Winning picks on: October 05, 2015, 12:01:29 AM
It is just the beginning of the second day, but I am really surprised that rollin is currently having 17 times more wagered (818 btc vs 45 btc).

War is not over yet. I think BB can still turn over in their behalf.

I agree with you here. Betterbets has had many weeks with a 4k volume spike so dont count them out yet
895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 04, 2015, 11:58:55 PM
whether ppl borrow money to gamble or pay for something else does it matter? long as that person pays back the money can be used for whatever IMO. just be careful whom you loan to and get collateral and youll be fine

898  Economy / Services / Re: Ore-Mine.org - Signature campaign - Earn 0.08 BTC for two weeks on: October 02, 2015, 08:18:56 AM
I have became a senior member this week so I changed my signature to the appropriate one.
please update my status when you had the chance.

I may be wrong but im pretty sure that since you started this payment period as a full member you will be paid as a full member. I dont think your status upgrade would come into affect until the next pay cycle.

the neg feedback will prob kill the value of this acct as users wont be able to reg for a sig campaign. youll be lucky to get a .1-.2 offer
