881  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY TIME!!! on: February 23, 2012, 06:29:59 PM
mini crash to 4.50, then rally will continue.
882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox - Skipping Sell Orders, or is it incorrect stats? on: February 23, 2012, 05:47:00 PM
One possible cause could be, text to float conversion + rounding made price to appear higher than it was.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this impact bitcoin and PayPal in the future on: February 23, 2012, 01:18:29 PM
I can already do this using online banking. You can only send money to other barclays customers using this service. So no, it is in no way a competitor to Bitcoin. And as for PayPal, who gives a **** about PP anyway.
884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the manipulator drunk? on: February 22, 2012, 10:27:33 PM
He just wants to keep the price down while he buys back in.
885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mexican Standoff on: February 22, 2012, 02:32:42 AM
Someone just bought a lot of coins, all those coins are now in ask wall to prevent price rising. All the asks put in front of the wall are being bought by the person who put the wall there. IMO

Just repost a copy of the thread with '[unlocked]' added to the title.
891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING about intersango/britcoin!!! on: January 28, 2012, 05:33:41 PM
Britcoin was the original name of Intersango.

They have had banking problems lately which they have been honest and open about.

So they are going to charge a fee, most other exchanges do this anyway.

My experience with them has been good and I'm sure they will resolve your problem.
892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lets Discuss The Price Drop - Has Trade Hill Caused this? are they Giving Up? on: January 26, 2012, 10:25:42 AM
Bitcoinica is my prime suspect.

Everybody leveraged to the max, and then there was nowhere to go but down.

895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradehill API down? on: January 23, 2012, 05:03:01 PM
I'm still getting 'SSL connection error'.

(Edit: working again now)
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradehill API down? on: January 23, 2012, 05:15:15 AM
I am also not getting a response from their API.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] What do you think the price will be 7 days froim now? on: January 22, 2012, 01:54:03 AM
Slow grind towards $7 IMO
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question about Bitcoinica on: January 21, 2012, 07:20:40 PM
since we have now day 3 with the * on the buy side.. i see some interesting things going on in future..^^
if someone go short is a fool, because that give money to bitcoinica and that will give fuel so ppl can buy and go against your position

That is unless someone go's short big time and starts another liquidation snowball effect.
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question about Bitcoinica on: January 21, 2012, 01:56:14 AM
No, but keep an eye out for the 'asterisk'.
