881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Gambling Slang and Terms that Beginners Should be Aware of on: January 09, 2023, 11:59:13 PM
But these cannot guarantee that you will be profitable in gambling, what we need is experience and strategies. Once we have that, we will lessen the chances of losing and be able to increase the chances of being profitable.

Actually, knowing those terms is not a factor to be profitable in gambling.

It's just for reference for newbies who are having a hard time understanding what betting type should they choose.

Although it's not mandatory to know all those terms as they will surely be able to learn them on the way, kind of a good approach if newbies will enter the gambling not empty handed with those gambling terms.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 09, 2023, 11:59:02 PM
Durant misses at least two weeks, that would be a huge loss to BKN. They rather choose losing to Miami than losing Durant. Just when he broke another record and went up one more place in all time top scorers list, he could've gone one more place next game. I hope he'll return healthy soon.
Kyrie is playing great lately so I don't expect many losses from Brooklyn in this period. Sure Kyrie will use the ball more and Simmons should take more responsibility. T.J. Warren and Watanabe will get more playing time. Coach Vaughn will find a way to win games, Nets have a good squad. I don't think they'll go down just like Suns.

Injuries really spoil the good rally of a team. That was unfortunate to happen now that the team is getting a good winning streak and this is the first time, that their drama stars are working together as a team with no issues or drama or what.

Good thing though that it happened this elimination and not in playoffs.

In the meantime, expect that Irving will do his job in covering what Durant will miss.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 09, 2023, 11:56:44 PM
The Bay Area Dragons are still at disadvantage next game. Expect the odds for them will be over at @2 again in Game 6.

It's now official that Andrew Nicholson won't play the next game. He is not yet fit to play according to the team's source.

With that, Ginebra can close out the series with a high chance but Dragons won't surely allow that to happen easily.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 08, 2023, 11:55:21 PM
21,823 audience at the Mall of Asia Arena in Game 5.

The audience is the second-highest all-time at that venue. The most audience recorded there is Game 7 of the Philippine Cup between San Miguel Beermen and Alaska with 23,616. That's the game where SMB bounce back from a 0-3 deficit.

And crazy stats this Finals as this series between Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons is averaging 17,000 live audiences per game.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Cassino Continue With Wagering Requirements, If Abuse is Eliminated? on: January 08, 2023, 11:49:45 PM
3: what conditional do you think could perfectly replace the wagering requirement in a casino that will serve players' purposes and also protect the revenue of the casino

Since this is a newly added question I will answer this;

My answer is, no need to think of other replacements or changed in the usual terms.

Just apply the usual wagering requirements and no need for a replacement or something.

The revenue of the casino is well-protected already with the current system. Players on the hand will just do their usual approach to meet the requirements.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 08, 2023, 11:46:34 PM
Always consider that gambling is for fun and shouldnt really be treat up the other way around.

That's the reason for those gamblers who are just not considering their loss as important. You guys are considering gambling just for fun but didn't realize how much you spend and lose already in total with that kind of mindset. It's more fun to win than to lose and stop with this gambling for fun because for sure, those with that mindset end up being regret every time they lose. Smiley

Maybe the reason also why your luck is not that high as you consider gambling a joke.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 08, 2023, 11:41:29 PM
In the absence of Anthony Davis, Thomas Bryant is being more utilized and so far looking good.

Established last game with 29 points and 14 rebounds, he is clearly improving in every game. That line of stats is not his usual before.

Hope that he will be able to continue that good performance as the Lakers badly really need a product like that from their role players.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Are Players Going To Trust Casinos If They Don't Show Solid Evidence on: January 08, 2023, 11:37:58 PM
Even if you don't want any evidence but when the time comes that accusation piled up and mostly all of these are unresolved and players have valid or solid evidence, I bet one day you will doubt the integrity of the casino.

Then until that happened then, for now, I won't think about being doubtful about that casino I'm playing with.

Let's see how our preferred casino deals with these complaints before taking action.

If there's no problem yet that we see, it's quite not appropriate to just imagine things now on what we will do. Our reaction will automatically trigger once that said site we prefer shows inconsistency and is not reliable in defending its name to those complaints.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 08, 2023, 11:34:47 PM
Now, let's be some superstitious and say, if you play only when luck appears to be on your side, would you call that a good strategy?

I will stick to my usual stand since then, regardless if I'm feeling lucky or not, I will just gamble.

There is a time that I overcome my losing in a certain session and that means time now for a crazy winning streak.

Anyways, don't associate your superstitious belief in gambling as a strategy. We are risking money in gambling so don't always rely on just luck.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the maximum number of loosing streak possible in dice with 20%/5x win? on: January 08, 2023, 11:32:43 PM
No. It's proven that with using martingale strategy, not only you don't increase your chance, but you decrease your chance.
If you use martingale strategy, you will finally lose all your money. To succeed, you need unlimited balance. Since it's impossible to have an unlimited balance, the strategy doesn't work as excepted by some people like you.

Either way, be increasing your chance or decreasing, that's not how martingale works. So is the other strategy if we refer to luck-based games.

Martingale is NOT a strategy but rather a betting type or kind.

If used that kind of betting type is, all rolls are still subject to the provably fair and random hashes or seeds.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In search of reselling tipsters group on: January 08, 2023, 11:27:32 PM
just like what Blawpaw suggested, better look for free tipster threads here in the forum just like his thread in soccer. actually in this discussion board, you can already read some threads discussing all sports and giving their opinions or insights. in that way, you can already get some hints or tips on who you want to bet with. as much as possible, bet on the sports you are most familiar with. so you can understand where those tips are coming from. don't trust telegram channels offering tips, most of them are just waste of time or money, if they want you to pay first.

OP is not after the free tips that's why he created a thread like this. Surely, even though that was good advice from you and from others, he won't bother to consider doing it as free tips are not even his option.

He is looking directly at those users who are into groups with the same tier Trickpicks and Globalpicks as these groups offer premium picks on which I'm sure he thinks do have a good winning rate established since then.

The community has done enough to give him advice. Let OP do what he wants as replies that don't directly answer his question will surely be ignored.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 07, 2023, 11:59:17 PM
As far as the latest reports I have seen regarding the status of Nicholson, his status is still questionable if he can play on Game 5.

Regardless, seems the Dragons do awaken their inner strength as they were able to win without their import.

Not sure though if the same winning case again will happen in Game 5 if they will still play without an import.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Cassino Continue With Wagering Requirements, If Abuse is Eliminated? on: January 07, 2023, 11:59:02 PM
No way a wagering requirement will be eliminated. They just attract users but keeping them loyal will be a question.

For sure these users will just get the bonus and afterward, they will leave the site for good.

Definitely not a good idea for them to consider doing that and I doubt a gambling site will do that for real.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Are Players Going To Trust Casinos If They Don't Show Solid Evidence on: January 07, 2023, 11:57:40 PM
It depends on how the casino is responding to queries and complaints thrown at them.

We can't generalize it here as we really need a reference in order for us to analyze the situation.

We do have the common sense to know if the gambling site is doing crap responses to their users. Let's decide after reading a certain complaint thread.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 11:59:54 PM
If you follow crypto news, you might be aware about solana dog shitcoin called "BONK" is up 900% the past week . If you are thinking to invest in this coin, let me share an important fact regarding this coin. The top 20 holders 50% of the coin.

You can yourself check this here
https://solscan.io/token/DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCa6xjnB7YaB1pPB263#holders

So, it is obvious that they will eventually dump it. Those who are investing seeing the dramtic increase in prices will loose all their investment when it dumps.

Nice catch and information you have there. But for risk-takers, I'm expecting they already know what to do.

Once those big holders decide to dump, unfortunate for those who are only holding a quite small percentage of the whole circulating supply.

People should not feel FOMO for not abling to take a ride on the coin. 900% increase then deciding to make an entry is a risky move.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 06, 2023, 11:59:11 PM
Game 5 is very important and I'm sure both teams know it. The advantage of the winner in game 5 will put a lot of pressure on the losing team. The winning team can end the series in game 6.

In every game series, after it was tied in a 2-2, Game 5 is the considered turnaround of the series.

Teams winning in Game 5 won't be pressured at all entering Game 6 as win or loss, they will still have the chance next game. On the other hand, the losing team in Game 5 will be pressured to win in Game 6 as no chance at all if they will still lose it.

Bay Area Dragons are able to fight back without an import but it doesn't mean they can do it anytime. If no import again next game, Ginebra will now do everything to take advantage of it.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 06, 2023, 11:58:59 PM
I have to say around 60% from playing casino games and 40% from sports betting. I was able to get my Stake progress for around 40% to the Bronze level and I'm not that even a regular gambler and only wagering small amounts.

It means my bankroll is increasing thru several winnings.

Hope to keep up with that this year 2023.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 05, 2023, 07:30:20 PM
Chess tournaments as well as checkers may be a good sports field for the betting industry. I know I would bet in a chess match as I already did that against a friend. We have gathered a group pf players in my neighbourhood. Thrn we started with a betting game where we could bet on the winner ot we could bet on first player going for a check. Ithe experiment worked out fine. So, if there was a site where you could bet on checkers or chess would you go for it?
Chess is something an interesting game but making out bets would be only be possible or could really be seen locally or physically but not we can able to see up online.
There are several factors which would give out some hindrance for people to play, one is fairness which they would be that mindful whether they are fighting with a bot or a real person.
Next, the house or a platform cant really make money much on a long duration type of pvp game which means that it isnt something or doesnt look interesting for any company
or would consider on adding it up but rather they would be adding fast pace games like dice and other casino games.

Chess event = YES

PVP feature CHESS = NO

Better to risk money on chess events if bookies will list it instead of playing directly a chess match in an online gambling platform.

Since chess, if we played it online against an opponent, can be subject to the use of bots, our skills are all useless against the bot's algorithm.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 05, 2023, 07:20:47 PM
In my opinion. The biggest contributor to gambling addiction is revenge gambling. Which is gambling after a loss—doesn't matter how big, out of spite and with the intention of getting the losses back in the process. When you revenge gamble, you are not in the right headspace to make concrete decisions as your attention is more focused on winning than anything. And in my opinion this never-ending chase for the bag is what will cost you to gamble, lose, revenge gamble, lose, until you find yourself 6 feet deep in debt and in trouble.

This is the reality. We can't consider those usual services we see in a casino as the reason why gamblers end up addicted.

Revenge gambling or chasing losses is one of the reasons why gamblers keep coming back from gambling.

The worst, these guys might be having payments that are already due and gambling is the only thing they think can solve their financial problem.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 05, 2023, 07:17:16 PM
As I look forward to Game 3, it went into a close game although the Dragons were able to up by a big margin.

Seriously, the Dragons should not cry out that loud on social media with regard to officiating. In the first place, they are the ones to blame for why they gave up their good lead. There should be no Ginebra rally if they didn't blew that game.

As per sports analyst, Quinito Henson, it's also worth noting that Ginebra has 57 2-point attempts in that game and that lead to more calls and a trip to the free throw line while on other hand, Dragons attempted more shot beyond the arc with 41 attempts on the 3-point area and we know that fouls aren't that present beyond the arc.

The Dragons just need to stay focused the whole next game.
They almost have that game but when Ginebra is doing some rally, their momentum got wrecked.
