Sure you will always need fiat ,some people invested at bitcoin to get more money ,soo they can convert it and put it at banks at saving or some investment pack they offer,bitcoin has potencial and volatility not those almost safe services to make your money grow.

I would choose gold over bitcoin as I find gold is more safer in compare to bitcoins, and the future ob gold is safe while bitcoin is unpredictable, not sure how long it will survive.

Since the price is low it is best time to buy bitcoins.
Selling bitcoins at this point of time would definitely bring loss.
Speculations are it's price will rise again probably in June due to block halving.
