881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cfinex.com - it safe? on: April 15, 2018, 04:58:34 AM
There are few people here, it's true. But there are no limits on the withdrawal and technical support immediately answers. Smiley

I think that you need to leave the large stock exchanges. Popular exchanges limit the withdrawal limits and require verification account. Popular exchanges have a bad attitude towards small traders. For example, support for weeks does not respond to tickets that are on HITBTC, that on Poloniex, that on Cryptopia.
That being said, you seem to not need other's opinions and made up your mind already or maybe this is a way of marketing this site. I saw that you post about this on your local board too.

It's true about the support tickets. However, if a user doesn't have any problem with the large exchange, why would he leave, right? It depends on the situation really. Also, most likely people will choose popular exchanges because of volume. Since this one is new, the volume is low plus there's no review yet.

So there has been no news since the ICO? Where is the communication?

The website hasn't been updated since the ICO.

Also could you please make a discord channel, Telegram is rubbish.
I saw a thread made by Sythyn last time. Well, an announcement that the tokensale was over (quoted below). Communication is on Telegram, they are active there (4-5 admins answering queries).

Dear friends!

Our Token Sale is over!
We are proceeding to the next stage of our project!
We are starting commercial operation and waiting for the listings)
Stay tuned for great news!
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tradesatoshi is a scam ? on: April 14, 2018, 04:39:54 PM
I did before and no problems encountered. However, it's been a long time, most likely there have been changes just like in other exchanges. Wait, you asked because you're planning to withdraw or just checking before using the site?

Try upgrading to 2.2.0.  If it doesn't help, please pm me your attested address.

Hi tonych,

Can I find rich list in the Byteball DAG explorer? If yes, please tell me how to see rich list of Byteball holders.
You can check the Byteball Top 100 richest list here https://byteball.fr/Top100ByteballRichest.php . You'll be able to search your address too to easily check if you belong to top 100. I'm not sure though if it's up to date.

Campaign manager must have monitor the spreadsheet after all Smiley
I've messaged needmoney after posting this thread and there's no reply as of the moment. Let's look forward if he will take an action.

Given the fact that he uses different telegram usernames, same address, (plus used my Bitcointalk username and profile link) - it is considered as cheating, right?
It's a bit strange, since he/she didn't use your telegram username. For me, this is a "failed attempt at cheating".
Failed if we could stop him from receiving payments, but it can be considered a success otherwise. Thanks for digging, with the information you've given I got to dig more as well. It seems that he also uses other member's telegram usernames. Not so surprising, thinking that why would a single person bother make several telegram accounts for every bounty.

From this telegram username @saa_aash, what you got was from the Photochain Airdrop. That Bitcointalk user (Sashafatychova) most likely is the true owner of the telegram username (@saa_aash) and that is his Eth wallet address (0x3f76aE158fC9b35b0F7e6f6d1c968BE635a0b0c4).

In my main post, I saw this telegram account on Kripton Signature Bounty Program : Spreadsheet - Row #14347, by searching the cheater's address. As I've checked the Eth address given in the authentication post above, I found out that this Bitcointalk user Sashafatychova also joined the Kripton Bounty using his telegram username and Eth address:

Row #2112 and #2214
Telegram Username: @saa_aash
Ethereum Address: 0x3f76aE158fC9b35b0F7e6f6d1c968BE635a0b0c4

Maybe the cheater did it on purpose (use of different telegram usernames) to be harder to dig. I just hope needmoney will consider not paying him (0x172C527c17Ad0A71204A8754896c926F5b00e74b)
886  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Quest - a brain twister, by solving it you get bitcoins! on: April 13, 2018, 09:17:52 PM
If you're concerned with that delta image thing, then don't share the original image anymore and just give the image with seed words on the exact date of the quest. Since you're sharing the original image on the site which is supposedly for the 26th of April, you need to change it with a totally different image (with seeds already) on the 26th so you will not worry if someone prepared about that pixel change.

I was a participant in Buzzshow bounty and I found out that my username and profile link were used by an unknown user to join the telegram bounty.

I've checked some bounty spreadsheets and I found another campaign(s) that I didn't even participated.

In this bounty he still uses my username and profile link, different telegram username, but the same ETH address.

I'll just message needmoney to check since he is managing the campaigns. Given the fact that he uses different telegram usernames, same address, (plus used my Bitcointalk username and profile link) - it is considered as cheating, right?

888  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 12, 2018, 10:06:52 PM
I cannot log into my account so I cannot submit a ticket, I have sent an email to support but I thought I might get a quicker response here. There is no support from Cryptopia here?
I wonder why did they add that sub category if the owner of the compromised account could not use it when not logged in.  Huh

I believe they didn't process any ticket nor solve any problem here, in this forum. If you can't submit a ticket, the best option that I could think of right now is to tweet them in their Twitter page. You could get their attention there but there's no assurance of it. At least you tried the options left for you. Oh, and one last thing that you could try is posting in their Reddit page.
Aside from the suggestion above, you can also send them a message on Facebook.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cfinex.com - it safe? on: April 12, 2018, 07:32:37 PM
I have not used it and I don't think anyone here does yet (I might be wrong though) since cfinex was just launched last March 15, 2018. Btw, will you buy BTC using Fiat or trade altcoins for BTC? For sure you'll get recommendations if you consider using other site than this.
890  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 12, 2018, 05:20:48 PM
Hello,

I believe I may have been hacked, my 2FA pin has stopped working and I can't log into my account anymore, can an admin get back to me as soon as possible?

I believe you'll not get any help here. Most likely you need to submit a ticket. Go to https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/UserSupport , on the drop down Category : Account > Subcategory : Compromised Account, then click Create New Ticket. I'm not sure if how long it would take though before getting a response and action.

I wonder what's supposed to be the problem. Huh
Obviously, a threat found.
The file seems to be blocked that's why it never opened. I have removed it anyway.

You will not received an email COMING FROM ME.

Someone doing some malicious activity here. The form and spreadsheet link was only sent to the participants and not on public.
I have received the same email message with bl4nkcode, however, the sender uses a different email address (see image below). If the spreadsheet is only visible to you and the bounty participants, most likely the one who did this attempt belongs to that list.  Shocked

Bitcointalk Thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3258054.0
Their website can't be reached already, maybe they took it down after you posted in their thread about the review.

Code:

Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

Their twitter account got suspended and their facebook page/account seems to be deleted as well.
893  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Better do not use HitBTC exchange! on: April 11, 2018, 03:25:09 PM
Another possible scenario was, during the time of deposit the wallet was online that's why you were able to get the address and before your deposit arrives the wallet becomes in maintenance. I thought of this because hitbtc seems to give a note and aren't giving a deposit address when a wallet is in maintenance (see image below which I got from hitbtc):

Hi,
I have received an e-mail from goinmerry master asking for my e-mail and HYBRID address. I tried to download your wallet but my antivirus keeps on blocking this, even during installation it's difficult and i can not proceed, can i just use your beta wallet?
I encountered this problem too after downloading the file in the mega link provided on the email, likewise, I can't install it, and I would like to ask the same question too if its safe with the beta version of the wallet.
I downloaded the wallet and Windows Defender did not find any threats. I even scan it manually and still the same. However, the qt doesn't open after clicking I allow it to make changes in my PC. I wonder what's supposed to be the problem. Huh

Is this project available on the market? Is there any exchange that is already trading internet of coins?
HYBRID not on exchange yet. For the next few weeks hybrid coins will be distributed among ico participants. I guess, after that you'll be able to buy hybrid.
i thought that it was already available at etherdelta , their where people who recieved their coins/tokens earlier because they already used the 7 blockchains , like eth , waves , xem.....

hope that it is the same . otherwise i made a mistake

https://etherdelta.com/#XHY-ETH
Yes, it was. HYBRID token was listed available at Omni, EtherDelta, Bitshares, CounterParty, Waves, and NXT. The list can be found at https://internetofcoins.org/en/exchanges before, but the page seems to be removed already. I have checked it via Google Cache, if you want to view, here's the link:

896  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SellingGiftcards Scam on: April 10, 2018, 03:52:42 PM
Another manifestation that some users are not making a thorough research before dealing online. You note that you would like it to be resolved, how? If you're thinking that anyone here could help you get your money back, that will not happen. Only possible action is to tag the user (well, he currently has 3 negative ratings from DTs).

Just move on and be extra careful next time.

what about the merit? can i earn it by btc?
Do you mean you'll buy it? NO and you should NOT. You'll earn it by contributing in the discussions. If you have a helpful and constructive posts, anyone with sMerit could recognize it and give you some Merit. It won't be as easy as 1,2,3, but it's possible to achieve. Don't ever think of buying Merits, most likely you'll end up losing your account when caught.

899  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Way to Scam the Bounty by the Manager on: April 09, 2018, 11:35:32 PM
Bes19 has a point, you should provide a strong evidence for this accusation. I have a question, for the Crestonium, aren't he going to distribute the bounties? He mentioned that he has been removed and blocked on telegram after receiving the payments for him, bounties and airdrops. I think he should distribute it still rather than hold it himself, regardless if it's a scam or not as he say.  Huh
Thanks Bes19 for consideration.

Yes jhenfelipe I am handling the payments for bounties and airdrops but even though I hand it all to bounty participants it is totally worthless since the behavior of the devs isn't an appropriate one to be called a good project. If there's demand of bounty participants of taking the tokens I will not hesitate to give it to them. 2girls it is not same scenario if you'd just reading my posts.
Regardless if it's worthless or not, imo you should send it to them. Isn't it best for the both of you? I mean when the time comes that the token gain value (just if ever), you don't need to worry about it anymore. Bounty participants will not accuse you that you did not send it to them as well. If you'll hold it, it might be a problem in the future. So I suggest, let the bounty participants hold theirs and decide what to do with it.
900  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Some guy got his yobit account blocked just for saying go go coin xyz on: April 09, 2018, 10:06:25 PM
If we assume that the claim is true, they could've just banned him from the Chat as the TOS says.
That should be the case, but Yobit seems to be unfair and inconsiderate if it's only a troll box violation. It is not the first time I read a post about an account that have blocked just because of that [same unsolved case posted here and several post about blocked accounts here too].

The way I see it is that they used this as a reason just to block his account and take his funds.
Plus, knowing that they have a poor support, users will just be tired of contacting them and wait for a response.

PS. I never had any problem with Yobit, but if I put my feet in the shoes of these people, that's what I have thought
