High fees are the problem... that's why we have some alts and alt-chains. It's nice when we have alternatives, and I am more than happy when I can use some of them. A few years ago we had a period with crazy high fees, since that time I haven't used Ethereum and ETH tokens, and I decided to not pay high fees ever again. Now we can use different chains with really low fees & fast transactions, and that is a great thing... we just need more services to start using them, more options are always better than just one or two.

I guess some of us will gamble even more in the future... with more free time we will be like those ancients in Vegas who spin slots all day, we will just do that from our personal computers in our homes. If we become wiser we will probably play with lower bets, without much pushing... in old age, it's not smart to push a lot and get too excited I guess, weak hearts will not be able to handle buying bonuses with all-ins.

This 5-10% made me regret so many times! It was just like that, just a bit more and that's it... and it's not like it's not working, for a day or two, maybe a week and then it comes like a rocket when I get carried away and I just bust everything in minutes, literally! Doesn't matter if it's from a campaign, or if I deposited with the intention to go slow and steady, sooner or later I get in some "deep waters, and I get drowned".

And there's also a moment when I have a good run, but I decide to try slots... those slots can be so deceiving! I love to play them, but they can be so bad sometimes...

All in all, it's gambling. It's interesting to try different strategies and games, we would like to make some profit, but it's not as easy as it seems. Sooner or later we all figure that out.

If I decide to use some exchange I trust it enough to leave some funds hanging there. Some funds, for some time... never "all in" and never "all the time". If I don't trust it, I will not use it, simple as that. And yes, we will continue to trust CEXs with our money, numbers are clear about that, simply CEX has a lot to offer. Because of that I am ready to close my eyes on security and risk some amount just to take advantage of some stuff. In my case, it's mostly staking.

But I never risked some big amounts on that, for me it's like gambling, I will never risk more than I can afford to lose. But some people are ready to risk literally "all-ins", and that is not smart/wise! In years we saw many exchanges/casinos/cryptoservices falling down just like that, so that old one worked and will work all the time "Never keep all of your eggs in one basket"!

I guess some casinos are not patient, it's easier for them to limit the winning players than to wait for those players to start losing. I also think this is strange, maybe someone follows the players who win and watches how they play, they think that they won't start losing at some point, or there is little chance of that, maybe some algorithm is in question, who knows.

I join in congratulations, it's not easy to make a nice streak of winnings in gambling. I hope the OP will find another casino that won't cause such problems.

But we cannot generalize, some behaviors are suspicious and can set off an alarm... Some casinos have "wagering requirements" for every deposit, and I know it can stop money laundering, but people who make a lot of deposits/withdrawals and don't wager a lot can and will be asked for KYC at some point for sure.

I also don't like KYC, but we said it many times, when it comes to some bigger amounts we need to be ready to complete the KYC procedure... People who are not ready for that should avoid depositing and playing.

Well, some maxis would say that Bitcoin is the only coin, all others are shitcoins. I am not so strict, I think there are good projects around, with great potential. I would never say that Litecoin and BNB are shitcoins (and some others), they are here to stay, simply many people are using them, and I believe they will be even more popular in the future. So I guess we can say that shitcoins are coins that nobody uses, except scammers who manipulate their prices and lure other people with big promises about fast & huge profit.

Well, it's all about the bankroll and your bet size... Doesn't matter how much money you have, if you bet with most of your bankroll, the chances of losing everything are pretty high. But you are right that casinos favor the rich people, the ones who wager more... but every service is doing that, people who spend more money will always have more advantages and be eligible for more bonuses and promotions. So we can't blame casinos for this one, simply it's how this world works.

Maybe this is a bit "off-topic", but if this guy is winning millions on Plinko, I doubt you can have problems with $1k.

I would like to point out "Don't store a lot of money in an online account", no matter what service it is. But each of us (me for sure) has some amount we are comfortable leaving in the casino or exchange, for all sorts of reasons... staking or simply waiting for some free time and another gambling/trading session.

Well, there's a reason for that saying "Debt is modern slavery". While we are in debt we can't be free... the lender has the power in his hands and we work for him. That's why this system is so wrong, and that's why we need some big changes if we wish to see the world as a better place for all people, not just rich ones.

What you are saying is fine and advisable for people who trade with big capital.

This is in total contrast to "don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose". And gambling with money we actually don't have (borrowed money) is a recipe for a disaster. Nothing good can come from that, and I guess it ruins the fun... people who gamble with borrowed money are under big stress for sure, not being able to relax and enjoy the game and thinking about what will happen in a case of loss. Probably that loss comes in most cases, it's gambling, people lose most of the time, especially if we talk about lucky-based games and slots.

Well, you are very close (if not on the spot) about this. We can't be safe if put "all eggs in one basket", we can't trust one service with all we have. I gamble for years, and I trusted many services with my funds, but never with all I had. That's the difference. So people should never go all in just like that before they test the service. So the best practice to stay safe is to deposit 10% of your amount (more or less), and if that goes right you can deposit more, if not just stay away from that.

If you don't keep yourself safe, nobody else will do it for you...

In Serbia, gambling ads are everywhere... literally everywhere. On TV, radio, and around the town. and even though at the end of the ad, or under the ad, they say or write "This does not apply to minors" it is already too late... they saw/heard it. That is stupid, even thou I am a gambler I think that kids nowadays are bombarded with ads on every step they make. I think there should be some special places for advertising and special hours for gambling advertising... having them everywhere all the time is crazy, and this will create more problems for those kids in the future.

But it's on the government to regulate it... but they don't care as long as they are getting paid I guess.
