881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 20, 2021, 06:44:59 PM
1. Gambling in fact has many negative externalities. If someone gets addicted, the likelihood is much higher to be depressed. Depression is factor, which leads to high costs for the society.
That's right but that can happen with any addiction, if someone is addicted to drugs it's even worst. I am not advocating for gambling but unless addicted, people can enjoy gambling just like they enjoy trips and other forms of entertainment.

I agree gambling is not coming for free of cost still I guess spending some money for entertainment purposes is not a big deal for most people with respect to their upper living standards. So, enjoying gambling within a limit and not getting addicted to it by playing it responsibly are the few things, every gambler must need to remember always while engaging in gambling.
882  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 20, 2021, 06:14:48 PM
Now when I try to contact the support, they simply just ignore and don't do anything about it. The owner replies at times and completely ignores to what I say.
If you are expecting a refund from them, you are going beyond the limit and that is why they are ignoring you. But, it has been more than 10 days of time and I guess you might have got reply from them by this time. Please update that into OP so that new readers will get know the recent things.

I don't want to keep talking about this and play the victim card since it is all my mistake but I would assume just like other websites, they should be adhering Responsible Gambling seriously and should've banned the account right away because of my request given through chat and email.
Such requests are not taken care of instantly, I think. That is why you should have asked the support how much time it will take and if they confirmed the account is now seized, you could have then blamed them if still deposits were allowed.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 19, 2021, 08:21:28 PM
Why do I see legit coins with real utility and transparent, excellent devs not doing well but shitty meme coins just flying?
Well the market is totally dumping and the market is trying hard to keep up the pace to get on top but it's still failing on doing that, Whenever there is a dump on bitcoin price all the alts suffer so It is up to you when to make out.

For the memes coin, they just do too much hype too much shilling that they attract people who want quick profits.
I do not agree that we are dropping constantly, remember we went to 30k and ever since that moment we haven't went down anymore and we try to crack over 40k and yes we do fail and go back down to 35k levels but at least we do try that and that is a very good thing, being able to even try for higher and higher prices is very important and a great aspect of crypto prices, because when it is trying that means it will eventually succeed, rarely we see it try to go up and fail to do so, when it goes down it just straight up goes down, it is not going down because it fails to go up, it goes down because people want to sell, so when it tries to go up that means people are trying to go up.

This is why I think we are in a great situation and not crashing or anything like that, we WERE in a bear market but we are no longer there anymore and doing fine.
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: June 18, 2021, 08:51:02 AM
Crypto is always a risky trade and there are many coins where only a handful of people control the market trend. Rather than taking a loan, learn trading, Do your own research and invest early in potentially good projects.
I guess there are 2 things we need to consider here; if OP is about to loan for the purpose of investing then I guess they may go for it and at the same time if the loan will be for the sole purpose of trading in cryptos, then I as well will suggest not to go for it for the same reasons like you have mentioned.

The loan would be from my family and interest free. If the value of my cryptos drop I'm willing and able to wait up to five years to break even.
If I were you, definitely I will not call that a loan because in more sense, it is kind of help we are getting from our family members (and from colleagues/friends) and definitely we are going to pay them back then why we should call it loan?
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 17, 2021, 06:43:16 PM
There is a good chance Jazz could make a comeback this series as well, I know that Clippers went ahead thanks to this game but they are missing Kawhi, and that means PG has to play like this every game and I doubt that he can, he hasn't been able to play like this for a long time, this was just one game, maybe he is actually good when Kawhi is not around and that's his thing, be the star or be nothing, but I still think Jazz has a good chance to win it.

Hawks on the other hand is a weird situation, I can't say sixers will comeback and win, there is a good chance they may not end up winning as well, Hawks is a team none of us seen them at conference finals, a Nets vs Hawks conference finals will be a weird one but I will still take it, since I do not have a dog in the fight it doesn't matter if it is sixers or hawks but I certainly believe they will be underdogs in that series as well.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of your coins are going to be worthless in years. on: June 17, 2021, 05:43:33 PM
More than fifty percent of altcoin I bought in 2014 are still very much around.  I bought ethereum  is still here,  Wave coin is still here. Lisk was considered as a competition for ethereum in those days but unfortunately,  was never materialized  yet,  the lisk coin is still trading after all these years.
Selective coins before 2016 are good to continue your holding; you sound like you are too good in choosing your coins for investment which must be the reason your list sounds like too good for anyone to have in their portfolio. I have few of them from your list but I did not invest into ethereum when it was new; honestly missed that due to lack of knowledge on finding good coins at early days.

The question to ask is actually what makes coin worthless? Is it the lack of development or not having a niche market that is poise to create new uses or solve existing or future problems!
Coins which are lagging in real world use case might be dying over the time; scammy devs do create coins and tokens just for the purpose of pump and dump then how we can expect them to be sustaining for years. Such coins will become worthless in years for sure.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: June 17, 2021, 08:58:02 AM
What are your thoughts about these 2 coins' future and is it possible that Musk will decide to the hype on something else also? Green coins are getting more popular. Why doesn't he mention any of them? Which one do you think needs such a kick?
I guess all the POS algorithm based coins can be classified as green coins, right? This way, I guess there are tons of coins will be available to adopt, right? Then what would be the point of mentioning any few of them? I mean this crypto world needs something unique and mostly the first ones are getting attention which must be the reason, we are seeing bitcoin is continuously getting value appreciations and dogecoin is one of the first meme coin which is the reason, it attracted lots of investors including Elon Musk.

I don't think Elon Musk will switch over to some other crypto in any near future unless otherwise something big happens with bitcoin or dogecoins. So, he may keep shilling and these two coins may keep continuing growing up.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: June 17, 2021, 07:01:14 AM
in every investment we need research about its project,we will find the advantages or minus by doing this. and its happen to future trading, without analisys both in technical or fundamental , lose our money will be easy thing.
Yeah, we must do risk only after strong research and analysis which must be the only part which distinguish our actions from gambling (because usually gambling do not require any other such analysis part). At the same time some people are actually gambling but in the name of trading but fortunately they are all making profits time to time because sometimes blindly buying and selling also getting them profits because of some basic fundamentals of this crypto space.

we must understand support and resistance because in that area sometimes prices react
Market may react at the support and resistance price levels but that cannot be the final one for the day; it means markets may move further beyond support and resistance levels that is the reason we are having support-1 and support-2 and resistance-1 and resistance-2 and so on.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 17, 2021, 05:28:12 AM
How to know when to sell is very similar to how to know when to buy.
You know when how to buy, you should also know when to sell.
Not necessarily. All theoretical approaches may not work piratically. I mean unless you are too good in technical analysis then you will never get any idea on buying and selling with the help of same approaches. This is the reason most traders are fixing their target levels at 10% or 20% from their buying prices. This may work but definitely lead to big regrets when they miss big rallies.

When we are good in fundamental things then we can go for continuous holding without worrying about when or where to sell still the target booking level will be based on our idea and may not be at the trend revering price levels.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You could die from trading. on: June 16, 2021, 08:29:02 PM
You could literally die from trading even if not from heart attack but if you deposit all your money to wrong coin which all of your money will be gone in seconds, you don't have to eat, money to pay rent and money to buy food. So if you are not wise enough to handle your money it could lead to many circumstances in your life.
Yeah, I think first of all you should learn to have patience and apart from having patience enough, you should also have a target and not try to cross that line you have set for yourself. Let’s say for example that you wanted to invest in Shib and you have plans of making twenty percent income/profit from it, once you have achieved that twenty percent income, there is no need to rush in again.

You should then calm down and give yourself some to consider your next move even if the market seems to be moving up after you have sold. So that you don’t end up investing your money again and then end up losing your money.
891  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 16, 2021, 07:49:24 PM

You can always keep the tokens in Freebitco.in account and sell for Bitcoin right there in Freebitco.in,you only pay the withdrawal fee then from your Freebitco.in wallet to your actual bitcoin wallet of your choice.I am keeping them as I believe the price will go up and when it does I will sell half of them for Bitcoin directly in the Premium tab of Freebitco.in website.I will keep the other half to not lose the free spins daily from WOF.

I still have to pay the fees either way. To have sufficient balance, there's a need to transfer from an external source which involves fees.

Unless this site supports BEP2 which unfortunately doesn't.
I guess you do have to pay fee either way, but when you do it on bitcoin that way you pay very little compared to any other place. This place has weekly withdrawal if you reach a certain threshold and you want to remove your money. Right now the weekly one is 0.00001746 bitcoin and that is really cheap, cheaper than any other place and that is very good, that is why I think if you really want to buy/sell fun token you can do it right on this website and can handle it as cheap as it gets compared to any other place. I know that its not simple to just let it sit there when you know you can trade it somewhere else, but you can withdraw it if you insist on that.

I personally never taken any of my fun tokens out, I never sold, I am just buying and leaving it there. That is the type of investments I like, the ones that are as long term as possible.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: June 16, 2021, 06:53:08 PM
Sometimes when I take a trade without stop lose, I'm always skeptical about the outcome of the trade because their is high tendency of the trade not correlating with my analysis due to fear of high loses. But I'm always surprised when the trade falls to my direction of trend but in all, stop loses is very good initiative and it's a way of maintaining risk management in trading.
Even after getting well aware of usage of stoploss, I believe it is completely a blunder mistake if you're still going for your trading without stoploss. I mean you may go trading without stoploss orders until you are not aware of the need of stoploss but once you come to know its usage then you should make use of it all the times. It means you should not underestimate the benefits of going for stoploss orders for our trades.

As per some of the people of this forum who are all experts in crypto trading, stoploss order is not only for cutting your losses earlier but it is also for the purpose of saving your time so that you will get chances to recover your losses as early as possible in upcoming trades.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Scarcity. on: June 16, 2021, 12:55:35 PM
Although scarcity is a basic problem, sometimes scarcity is needed because it has an important role in the economy. It is undeniable that scarcity is one of the most significant factors in influencing supply and demand. In the economy, the scarcity of goods plays a significant role in influencing market competition on any price base.

Rare goods are generally subject to greater demand, so they have the 'power' to play the price of goods higher. This is why rare items tend to be priced at a higher price than similar items with more or even abundant stock.
Maybe that should not be a problem at all, maybe we should figure out a way where resources are never a problem ever again? I mean what is "economy" that keeps us from having things that we want or need?

If people in Africa are dying because of lack of water, that is not because we do not have enough resources for it, that is because we do not care about it, I can guarantee you that with enough resources put into it, all of Africa could be a place filled with drinkable waters, farms, trees, everything, all you need is spend manhours resources on it, but we fail to do that because it is not "profitable for the economy".

Or we can just build lambo for every single person in the world, we do have the resources for it, or a Tesla or whatever car we want, it is possible we can do that like in 10 years, for free, you do not have to spend money on it, just do it, why put money in between? Food, shelter, water, games, cars, clothes, EVERYTHING can be free, but people will not be richer than each other, everyone will own everything, that is why we are not doing it.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 11:28:17 AM
One major question that always borders me is "are we created with different mindset at birth and what role does environmental factors have to place on mindset of an individual".
Well, I don’t really think so. People can do evil for any reason, so it is not just about money, it is all about the kind of mindset they have. Let’s take for example, a case of rape, you wouldn’t say that is being done because of money.

But, I do understand people can also do a lot of evil because of money, same way they can be motivated by other reasons to do evil. So, I wouldn’t say that money is the root of evil, it’s just that some people have a very poor mindset and they are very stupid. So, they let themselves to be controlled and misled by just anything they see.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: June 16, 2021, 10:12:16 AM
I get to be thinking what about all the government of the world unite and decide to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?  Grin

I have wondered if this is possible to happen despite bitcoin being decentralized. Within me, I don't think that is no more possible because bitcoin is now unstoppable. Just like water is to the fish, bitcoin is the light of the earth.
I don’t think anyone will even come up with the idea of banning bitcoin, because of the top officials in politics are Bitcoin investors , so if they choose to ban it, then they lose as well. But even at that, if they decide to ban bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market, they will only be banning centralized exchanges and companies like Coinbase, Binance, and the rest of them.

But not the decentralized ones like LocalBitcoin, Paxful, etc. So people will move to the completely decentralized exchanges and continue making use of cryptocurrencies. And the government will as well be hurting themselves, because crypto exchanges like Binance and Coinbase are huge now, so they wouldn’t like to stop big platforms like this.
896  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 15, 2021, 08:45:09 PM
Consistency is the key and if you already have millions of money, you can really afford to take the risk and bet huge amount of money on the games that you'd love. Reaching that mark may take time but if that player is so serious, it can happen as long as Rollbit is still here which I know this gambling site is meant to stay. Imagine the trust that gambler put into Rollbit, a high roller will always be appreciated and congrats to Rollbit for having those kind of gamblers, such a big player.
Super rich people do not become super rich by gambling it away, believe me when I say this all the gamblers you have seen, even the ones that gamble a ton of money, are people who do not have much much much more than what they are gambling.

I have seen a guy gambling over a million dollars and dude had like 10 million dollars, which means dude just wagered 10% of it is all money (total wagered not each bet) and when I look at someone who has 1+ million dollars wagered I think about someone who must have at least 100 million dollars, probably more and there are not so many of them in the world so I always feel weird that I see someone who is in the top 10k richest person, then I realize they are not even in top 100k because they are wagering almost all they have. Long story short there is a good amount of people who just end up broke after a while as well.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 15, 2021, 08:15:42 PM
I also can't imagine Mercedes changing during the season, but I'm sure that either Hamilton or Bottas will have to leave the Mercedes team at the end of the season. With Hamilton it will depend on whether he is too greedy in the contract negotiations and wants extra sausages.
There is zero chance Hamilton leaves Mercedes until he retires, Mercedes knows this but they will not push their chances, they will offer him the biggest contract there is and that will continue down that way forever. At the end of the day Hamilton will not be able to win the title without mercedes car and mercedes have near to zero chance to win the title without hamilton, they both need each other.

It will still be a big contract, and there is love between them so I doubt there will be a problem. Bottas however is gone that is I am sure, Hamiltons first team mate was for one season, second teammate was two seasons, third teammate is three seasons, fourth teammate was four seasons, now he is with bottas, his fifth teammate, for five seasons, he is gone and that is a funny coincidence for sure. Russel+Hamilton should be fun to watch next season but there are ton of races and an off-season until we see that, nearly 10 months or so.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins questions on: June 15, 2021, 06:08:16 PM
I was looking into a very new altcoin (will not name as I do not want to shill) and the white paper talked about a liquidity date named in the future. I am guessing this is when the Devs are allowed to start selling their bags?

They did a pre-sale and earned 10x their intended 10 BNB. How does this work? How do you find out about pre-sales and what is the advantage?

They are holding a huge amount of the coin (>95%) in a main account, being very transparent about it. 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254
They are using this to make social/community contributions. Is it normal to have the Devs holding such huge bags?

There are no humans listed on the site as the project team. Should this be a major concern?
Avoid it for your own good. You have tried searching for it and you didn't get anything about it, so forget it about it unless you just want to take the risk, which I know for sure that you're 90% likely to lose in it.

There are already some trusted altcoins that you can invest in and still make profit. You should check out coins like Cardano, Polkadot, Uniswap, and lots of them, and invest. You're more like my to make profit from these and you're also safe since they are already well established coins and are on top the list, so you don't run the risk of losing your funds when you do.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2021, 07:01:48 PM
You say that because you are not a Barcelona supporter, so you want Messi to leave Barcelona. I think Messi is 33 years old and that for strikers is
too old. It would be wiser if Messi ended his career at Barcelona, at least Messi could play for Barcelona for 2 more years. After all, Messi also definitely
has a strong bond with Barcelona, especially now that there is already Aguero in Barcelona, this should be a consideration for Messi to stay.
I wish Messi could stay at Barcelona.
When a player helped your team as much as Messi helped Barcelona, you do not care how much he earns, you do not care how much he helps, all you want is for him to stay. If I was a barcelona fan, I would be willing to pay messi 70 million a year for another 3 years without him even playing, just stay at home and watch the games and I would be willing to let that happen just because what he did and not because what he could do.

However on top of all that dude is only 33 years old, Ibrahimovic was still a good factor for Milan last year at age 40, so Messi is not that old at all, the understanding that 33 years old is old age for football was 10-20 years ago, these days players can play until they are 40, they are not superstars at 40 but they can at least play, back in the day 40 was something very rare, nowadays it is common, and 33 is middle of the road. Hence I believe barcelona should pay him whatever he wants to keep him for sure.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: June 14, 2021, 05:52:29 PM
With all of the hype surrounding "De-Fi" and NFTs, it looks like old coins like Peercoin, Primecoin, and Quark have been left in the dust. This is sad, considering that the aforementioned coins have a proven track record of stability and reliability. New coins are usually less secure than old ones. Despite the low interest/demand for old coins, they're still actively traded on the market.

I'm wondering whenever it's worth buying and holding old coins for the long term. Primecoin is one of its kind with a PoW algorithm that contributes towards the discovery of prime numbers. It's a pity other crypto projects haven't copied its model. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
Who told you that nobody is interested in old coins? Aren't Bitcoin and Ethereum old coins? There are so many good altcoins in the market that a lot of people are steady buying and holding. Most of these new coins are mainly used for a pump and dump scheme. When you invest in them, they get pumped and later they are dumped.

I can remember a coin that someone was talking about here and even trying to hype it. When I decided to look at the coin's chart, I saw that the coin is clearly a pump and dump coin. After it pumped once, it then crashed and never went up again and is not even showing any reasonable movement that shows it will still go up again.
