881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: People are tired of talking about Binance.... on: September 17, 2019, 04:13:18 AM
I think binance exchange is not a major problem, I think that makes people like this because the ceyptocurrency conditions are not good so that the price of cryptocurrency does not have a good movement, if the condition of cryptocurrency is the same as in 2017 again then it will definitely be many more traders happy because there are no problems from several countries.
We know maybe governments really want their people to safe from something that can cause bad affect for them. But maybe in crypto, decentralize is something important because it is nature of crypto. But we can't blame Binance and other exhanges, they only follow the rules and only want to avoid problem. Maybe US citizen can use alternative way to access it.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are about to hit 8K and below...soon (see charts) on: September 16, 2019, 08:23:34 PM
If really go to $8000, people can accumulate more. I think if people really have positive sight for bitcoin in future, dumped price will be something that can help them buy in cheap price. Although some other people is panic, i still believe if out there a lot of people still think positive about bitcoin especially when halving come, with price dumped they will buy more and hold.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My gambling strategy on: September 16, 2019, 03:56:29 AM
2 things that i like is OP want to share his strategy that sometime people prefer to sell their strategies although don't know will bring win or lose. Or maybe with disclaimer so people can pick the strategy with know the risk if gambling is all about luck. Maybe if want to try OP's strategy will not be bad as long do with our own risk. if me i respect with OP but i will stay on analyze bet like sportsbetting.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a nonprofit school do an ICO? on: September 15, 2019, 07:04:03 PM
If there was a small group of customers (families and prospective families), would that shorten the time for the ICO? Looking for creative fundraising ideas for a small private school that lost its building. Thanks!
I think any kind of people can do ICO as long they can create tokens. Believe me, i see some project that created just like that. But maybe for something like school that need funds, maybe social fundraising will be good choice because if do ICO, investor will look profit too. There are a lot of legal fundraising site that you can try and people in here already mention some of them.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone here that has referrals on any exchange? on: September 14, 2019, 03:14:50 PM
I usually share my refferal code from an exchanges, but sometime maybe people like to delete refferal code and make account by themself. I think about promotion like that, i just do what i do. Only share without adding or reducing promotion content or promise something to prospective referrals. Maybe people think if it not give them advantages, they wouldn't join with refferal link.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust the market or the business owners? on: September 14, 2019, 05:41:30 AM
Crypto decentralized nature, already be favourite for a lot of people. Maybe a lot  of people will pick something they can trade freely with theiranalyze andmarket movement because supply and demands. And i will agree with it because controlled coin will make people afraid if sometime it get dumped or maybe will die anytime.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: About bounty program on: September 13, 2019, 04:50:46 PM
Hi everyone
Although i am new here but i am not new in cryptocurrency market.
I have two questions about bounty program.
Is there any Restrictions to join bounty if i am Newbie?
Is the bounty program for only bitcointalk users, i see i should add and use my user name of bitcointalk.

Yes, and yes maybe. Because newbie account is easy to create that is why some bounty campaign require at least jr member or copper member which can join campaign. But if you luck, you can get it. Or maybe look in another forum sometime they have bounty campaign that is not really strict about rules yet. And in this forum it means you need to use your forum account to join campaign.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: September 13, 2019, 08:18:27 AM
Fear has a big role of every dump but not only this Craig drama cause the Fear but also the big whales dumping manipulation will cause lot of Fear for the crypto users. The people will not be afraid of any market event as long as the market is not bleeding.
That is what they aim if they are really exist, people's fear when price pump or dumped. Maybe with that, they take advantage from people who panic and FOMO. That is what i always heard about whales. But actual whales is exist or not, i am not really know. I only know when pump come there usually like already scheduled. So almost can predicted especially when good news come.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 13, 2019, 03:12:13 AM
There are some people gamble and lose. if you ask them why do you gamble? They will answer you "just for fun"
They know they are loser in long term and no strategy works, but continue to gamble for fun.
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose? Is losing money really enjoyable? Isn't there any other entertainment you can enjoy?
I think these people are still hopeful of winning back previous losses or they are addicted. Gambling cannot be just for fun. There are many free games too.
I think out there, people still play for fun although it can counted. Because people who play for fun is when they don't know how to get fun or really like gambling. That is why win or lose sometimes not really important for them. Maybe if win, it can be bonus for them. I am not really into gambling but i know if i play game like dice, i always  lose. That is why maybe i only use small amount of money that actually make me get stressed already. But after that, nothing problem.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where are you trading? on: September 12, 2019, 04:47:10 PM
For now I using whitebit.com and absolutelly satisfited. Hope that in future it will be even more popular
It is very risky to keep your funds on an exchange that has been operating for less than one year. This is your own business, but need to be careful.
Even in old exchanges, it is risky too. I mean not want to make them look bad. But maybe for hold coins if not want to trade, it is better to withdraw it, i think there are a lot of option that we can use to get cheaper withdrawal fees. I will do that if not want to do daily trade. At least i know where i save my assets. Because no one know when an exchange get hacked.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE to BTC on: September 12, 2019, 05:22:28 AM
Hello people,

I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks

Angell
I think it depends on what price you bought it, i mean if already profit, i think sell is good. If me i will change to ETH because ETH have higher chance to increased. But this is only personal speculation,  if only me who hold the ETH. At least i know where my investment will go.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strength of Bitcoin on: September 12, 2019, 03:35:35 AM
I agree, talk for example Paypal, some claim that bitcoin transactions today is more than Paypal but if you are going to take a closer look, bitcoin transactions are the every day trading activity and not payment schemes as Paypal.
Bitcoin has more daily value throughput measured in dollars, but transaction wise, PayPal leads all the way. And yes, the difference is quite important too because most of PayPal's value throughput goes towards payments, while most of Bitcoin's value throughput goes towards speculation. People however love to present just one side of the story to strengthen their pro Bitcoin narrative.
PayPal is leading right now because it is an old payment system and has been on ground, if bitcoin and PayPal were to be created at the same time, PayPal would have long been forgotten because there are so many benefits of bitcoin payment to PayPal. With PayPal, there is still some limitations, and everything in PayPal transaction is not anonymous, coupled with the fact that the cost of transacting business through PayPal is far higher than that of bitcoin.

For every transfer you make through PayPal, there is a fee of 5 percent which is either burned by the sender or the recover depending on the agreement between them, but how much do we use in transacting through bitcoin, the fee is so cheap. The only thing with bitcoin is just the slow processing.
Don't forget Paypal's buyer protection can be abused by people who like to do dispute thing. Maybe You are right, bitcoin left by Paypal because Paypal come early than bitcoin like what people do about bitcoin and other altcoins. What famous first maybe more have support but i  believe in future more people will change into cryptocurrency and make bitcoin price can be very high.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This might be ridiculous, but let answer this question on: September 11, 2019, 03:38:34 AM
Millions of people nowadays, in here, actually looking for a job to work with and most of them are works in Bounties section, where I approximately understand that people can get easy money from it. Every day and every second thousand posts are delivered and posted. But, some of my minds want to know about your real life. Do you really enjoy your life outside this forum?
Actually yes, beside bounty i am only worker in factory. Not special but sometime i am do trading, and when get profit in weekend i can take my family to do holiday, at least with trading and bounty really help me in finance. So i can make my family happier than before.
Bounty that pay good rewards can be a good side job, with your time and effort this activities can be your additional income, back then when you can get a real high paying bounty you will enjoy each rewards that you'll going to take, but now it's already hard to find one but it's not the end of this bounty hunting.
Yes, i know. That is why i glad to have main job. I mean, i know out there, people decide to leave their job and think bounty will be good for them because sometime they get paid more than their real job. I think too confident in bounty will make us regret at the end. And it is proven that now bounty campaign not really give good reward or sometime not success and tokens no value.

895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do whales got burnt in the market. on: September 10, 2019, 03:33:55 AM
Most folks do believe that the market is been controlled by whales while some don't. some believed that nobody controlled the market.
My question is simple. just like newbies and novices got rekt and burnt in the market, DO Whales got burnt, Rekt or funds got  liquidate in this crypto market.?
i think Nobody controls this market.
I think yes sometime, but most of time i think whales will know when to take profit. If issue that whales control market is right, i think they who dump the coins and who get rekt and burn in market is people who panic and make wrong decision in trading. That is why although we are novice or newbie, we should control our emotion first in trading. The most important thing.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 09, 2019, 09:23:15 AM
Ever since I've got into cryptocurrency, I've had several experiences on the  prices on some of my holdings achieved ATH's in a matter of months alone especially on the 2017 bull market and was thankful I didn't sold out early when I got them. Having had a positive feeling about it, I became reluctant to sell some of these cryptos even at the height of its price thinking that I may gain more from them in the future and also believing that this projects have very good fundamentals and does have a room for growth!

Then at the beginning on the 1st quarter of 2018 (which started the period for bearish market), crypto prices nosedived sharply and in a matter of weeks my portfolio begun to shrunk and was reduced significantly but then again I was overpowered by my belief that crypto will have an eventual rebound in which I was wrong! Over a period of short time, I was forced to sell those cryptocurrencies at a significantly lower price and accepted my loss which led me to believe that hodling is indeed a form of gambling and thus has a risk / reward factors associated with it.

Until now, I don't have any regrets but only have lessons learned from this experiences and will remain having a positive outlook on cryptosphere because I know gambling will let us "win some and also lose some".  Smiley

I know some of you had already been on the same kind of experience just like me. Smiley
1 thing gambling though me about crypto holding is i actually not really know or actually can't analyze about bitcoin price. Maybe it will like play gambling because i hold and don't know price will up or down. If up so i take profit, if down so i get lose. Maybe that is what i do although i only use bitcoin halving as something that make me really confident to hold my bitcoin.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: September 07, 2019, 11:29:05 PM
I don't think many alts would recover against Bitcoin if this happens and so they will crash even more. Some solid alts with good liquidity like Litecoin may recover but most won't recover in my opinion. Thoughts? Undecided
If bitcoin reach $5000 i think people will panic. Although a lot of people said that we shouldn't panic, or maybe be patient is key in bitcoin investment, i think panic will always happen and make bitcoin price and altcoin dumped very hard. Altcoin can get it's impact because people will start to sell their alts because value in bitcoin will decreased too. Not want to say bad but people who get panic will make it worse.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: September 07, 2019, 02:42:13 AM
yes the fact is like that, in this crypto industry there is no full guarantee for you. Even in traditional investment, nothing guarantees you profit. There will be no certainty in future income, and if a project claims their tokens will become more and more expensive over time, it is very likely that they are lying. Of course, that does not mean that they are wrong, however, ensuring that everyone in the inevitable benefit is not responsible, to say the least. If you see a project that claims that your profits will grow tenfold in just six months, it's far more likely to be a good old Ponzi scheme than it really is, as seen in BitConnect.
So, no matter how this promise actually looks, if you see that the project offers you sky-high profits for literally no effort, it probably means that they want to make that profit out of you.
I think this things must be know by people from long time ago. There are no guarantee even in real investment. So people must be already prepared for something like this, and know what they do. I mean, in investment that have volatile like bitcoin or other altcoins, people shouldn't trust anyone. And keep believe with themself so they not blame anyone or maybe anything if they fail.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience in Arbitrage trading? on: September 06, 2019, 04:22:18 PM
I recently found out about this form of trading, but never tried it. Can anyone with experience give me some hints? I mean is this algorithm they use successful? And is it true about having big gains?
I not much do arbitrage for now. Because i think when coin have different price very far, it means there are problem with deposit or withdrawal from 1 of it. But in past, arbitrage really useful when Poloniex listed new coin. Price will pumped because a lot of people will buy from Bittrex and arbitrage it to Poloniex. It usually can happen so many times, and that is what people always wait.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought a bitcoin today for 9K and sold when it hit 10K should I Of left it? on: September 06, 2019, 05:26:54 AM
Should I buy back in or do you guys think it might drop?

I’m more of a day trader so any advice would be hugely beneficial.

New to this but happy with making a grand.
I think day trader not means trading everyday right, maybe if wait price like 9K again or maybe lower will be good to buy. If you want, maybe 5%-10% to take profit will be better. In this case, bitcoin price that move although only a little, can be very fit for trade. At least it wouldn't get dumped very fast except there are very bad news that come from bitcoin itself.
