881  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: April 16, 2023, 05:39:51 AM
there is potential for a pump, but for now, I'd rather expect price recovery to approach ATH first. that's because, when the pump occurs, the bitcoin price may get very close to the ATH price or even cross it. many people are speculating that the halving is what will drive the next pump. This is speculated based on the history of pumps that occurred in previous years. I think people are also starting to prepare their assets to wait for the upcoming pump.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 15, 2023, 10:42:46 AM
bitcoin and ethereum are my choice. $40k is too big for such an unpopular altcoin. So, I would probably split it 50:50 for bitcoin and ethereum. or, if possible, I might also choose BNB as one of the altcoins to invest in. the split is 40:30:30 for bitcoin, ethereum and BNB. choosing too many altcoins will not optimize your profits, and it becomes difficult to control. while 3 coins are enough to optimize profits, as well as risks.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 15, 2023, 06:46:40 AM
if something like that happens to their investment, then the thing that feels is the same thing that you have felt until now. regret, fear, and other negative thoughts. it is a natural thing, especially if the investment we make uses a lot of money, and that is the hope we have.
However, what you need to do right now is learn from your mistakes and start over. it is the risk of investment. if this is an investment in the city that you own, you can try to report to the authorities, if this is an online site then there is very little hope of getting the money back. this is the same as a HYPE site that gives a high percentage to investors at the beginning of the investment and then disappears. However, you need to know what you're investing in, and try not to invest in anything new with large sums of money.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 13, 2023, 06:25:35 AM
I had the same experience, but I only held unpopular coins. until now, I have never sold the coin because the price is already very low.
However, basically doge is a very risky coin, if you invest there, then you need to be prepared in case the price drops dramatically. If you have confidence in this coin, then you just have to endure it. but if you're worried, then you just have to sell it. from the start this was just hype created by Elon Musk. So, you need to prepare for the worst.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to spend your Bitcoin on: April 12, 2023, 10:47:53 AM
however, almost everyone has their own way of using the bitcoins they have. if you see that it is not wise, but it could be that the person has a reason for doing that, or he feels that it is something wise. besides, if he spends the bitcoins he has on his needs, then it is something wise. it is like selling bitcoins when there is no other way out. so, it all depends on how the person uses Bitcoin.
886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happens If Binance Exchange Flee Away like FTX on: April 12, 2023, 09:52:50 AM
well, of course it will have a huge impact for the crypto world. binance is one of the largest and most trusted CEXs available today. If Binance has the same case as FTX, then the damage impact that will be caused by Binance will be bigger than FTX. Well, after the many events that have befallen the current large CEX, I think Binance will also get a FUD impact like that. So, I think people are starting to wonder what things could happen in the future and how they might impact.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 12, 2023, 06:03:32 AM
If we have the option to stop CEX from collapsing, I know we have to do it. But given that case, therefore, we leave no option but to use DEX. Should we think it was worrying, I guess not.
The crypto world without Centralized remains strong, it might cause a huge impact on the market but never I think it ended as people will start using decentralized exchanges as well. In fact, not all traders and investors are using CEXs. And despite this speculated scenario, still crypto remains legal unless is declared illegal in a particular place or country.
yes, but the impact will still be severe. we don't know what regulations will be in the future regarding crypto, however, until now the government also seems to be benefiting from the use of crypto, that's why there are still very many legal CEX companies, even though it's quite heavy because of the large amount of FUD. However, I also think that if that does happen, then DEX will be the only option we have. and at worst, a large price drop will occur in crypto.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 11, 2023, 12:39:48 PM
Definitely yes. If you come to spend even above your means, that is clearly a waste of money and you will eventually go broke after days and weeks of overspending. And I believe your friends are actually doing it, it’s like there’s no tomorrow the moment they start drinking. My only advice is set a limit for yourself and never imitate what your friends are doing. Most especially if you have a family to feed, you should not be spending much on drinking but focus on the needs of your family.
What's worse is, when he doesn't limit himself in those friendships, the negative effect is that he will follow their lifestyle and find it difficult to escape from that lifestyle. To be honest, I'm pretty much in the same circle, however, I'm more inclined to choose friends who discuss business or investment than just spending their money on expensive food and aimless drunkenness. it is clearly a wasteful life
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much effort should one put into Bitcoin investments on: April 11, 2023, 08:36:09 AM
actually it depends on how much my income per month. I might insert a few percent as funds to invest. although it's not a lot, it's enough if that's the value I want. However, the conditions of each person will be different. because many people dare to invest in bitcoin with all the assets they have and say that it is an asset that they can let go. however, it would be very good if we only use a few percent of the salary we have to invest especially in crypto or bitcoin.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 11, 2023, 05:44:45 AM
well, for now, it seems like a natural thing. everyone's needs always increase over time, but not with income, that's why borrowing, or credit cards are the solution and the beginning of disaster. when a person lives with needs that exceed his income, he is likely to be trapped in debt. it would make him pay debt with debt. it can only be solved by stopping debt, increasing income with a business or side job, or selling valuable items to pay off the debt and starting over.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 10, 2023, 02:16:08 PM
I recently purchased 0.0045 Bitcoins which is still present in my trust wallet I believe with me owning a fraction of the worlds Bitcoin although a very tiny fraction in practical I am now a crypto currency investor  in essence a Bitcoin investor
sometimes big things start from small things. for now, this value is not satisfactory, but if you consistently invest in bitcoin, then little by little you may have a value that is close to 1 bitcoin in the wallet you have. However, it was a very good decision, because currently there is quite a lot of FUD in altcoins, so it would be better to choose bitcoin as an investment in crypto. but remember that don't invest too much in bitcoin, and use money that you are willing to lose.
892  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 10, 2023, 08:41:29 AM
well, in one year, there are tens of thousands of scholars born from various universities. I think that the government will not create job vacancies for these people every year. although I am also a graduate, however, I chose to build my own business. besides that, the salary that the government gives to workers is not that big, but it's enough. it's just, I think people will still be looking for side jobs. On the other hand, I also continue to try to build a business based on my skills and create jobs. so many people who are successful in this way, and I want to be one of them. that way we also help the government to reduce unemployment. Additionally, there is overwhelming evidence that people can survive without government jobs, and even get better jobs. So, for people who haven't got a job yet, it's best to try opening their own business.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: April 10, 2023, 05:55:50 AM
well, the only way to minimize expenses is to wait for the gas to go down. it might happen at certain times. however, if the traffic is heavy, it is likely that the fee you pay will be higher. however, it is still one of the drawbacks of ERC-20, which is why coins like BNB are also creating their own chains to compete with ERC-20. So, if you want to make a transaction with a fee that isn't that big, then you need to check your gas in stages.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 09, 2023, 03:22:46 PM
Nothing i wasted when you decided yo invest or to save up your money, but more interestingly it's better to invest on a profitable investment as an asset, we also need to be careful on the kind of investment we made, some of them will end up taking money from us instead of adding to it, any wrong investment made is as a waste of money and nothing more, we must be careful abd observe well before taking a decision on what to do.
yes, saving is not purely in vain, because basically it is saving. There are many advantages of saving the money we have. it's just that, the money we save, its value will decrease because of many things. it might be different if you have a few percent saved, and a few percent invested, that might be better, because you can use your saved money as you need anytime, like an emergency fund, and and your investments will add to the money you have if you manage to find good investments .
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: April 09, 2023, 09:38:50 AM
I think we shouldn’t debate much about this topic. We all know and agree that Bitcoins are the best coin possible to invest. At least it’s the best for long term trading and investment. The reason is pretty simple, we have seen what Bitcoins are capable of for the past 10+ years. Bitcoins have the largest marketcap and very much popular among the masses. Moreover the limited amount of Bitcoins makes the coin more valuable and hence you will definitely expected to get returns when the demand for the coin will increase. Now the choice is yours. Use your brain and choose wisely.
Yes you're right. however, I still feel that many people doubt bitcoin as the best crypto, so many ask about it, or they sometimes want to find a better crypto than bitcoin. most people who ask this are people who are just learning about crypto. they sometimes want to invest in the best crypto, but they doubt their knowledge of crypto. however, the answer is definitely bitcoin, unless he asks the scammer, and will promote the coin they own, in fact they will say that the coin they own is better than bitcoin, or any existing crypto.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 09, 2023, 05:36:58 AM
When asking about why do people stay poor? seems sensitive question because many people have working hard from the early morning until middle night but not have enough salary received. Looking on Indonesian country the salary under $100 with working almost 12 hours and how possibilities become richest person.

They are not lazy but not lucky with how company procedure with lower salary payment, I think OP have chance for becoming richest person if working in his country but higher salary receiving then have side job for increasing income on every month. Some time government regulation not helped poor people get good facilities and service then they always on poor staying.
I Can relate to this one, I am working in a company from 10am until 10pm but still my salary didn't went higher. I started to become physically weak because I am working part time as well after shift. No matter how hard I try still inflation really it us so hard. The salary in this country is only enough for single person not to married ones or having a family. So being poor might be because of the country he or she lived in, but we should not settle down of course until we are being rich soon.
besides, it is very difficult to question one's given destiny. many of us or in our environment work hard, try, go to school, and so on, but their economic situation does not change. there are so many things that affect it such as environmental conditions, financial conditions, income, debt, many necessities of life, and others. After all, everyone wants to be rich, and we are working towards that too. It's very difficult to understand someone's condition until you try to live among them.
897  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 08, 2023, 06:48:49 AM
Yeah, I get what you're saying. There are people that takes more loan from other to pay their current loans and then they get piled up by different loans, ending up drowning. Loans and debt can be a real pain and stress in your life if you're not careful. So, when borrowing, you got to make sure you've got a plan to pay it back on time, or it can get messy. If someone's stuck in that nasty cycle of taking loans from different sources to pay their current loan, they should stop and start making a budget, figure out which debts are most important, and try to pay more than the minimum amount when they can. Talking to a financial experts might help too. It's tough to break free, but with some discipline and a solid plan, it's totally doable.
Well, if it's borrowing money to pay off other debts, it's unlikely it's an addiction, but it's probably stuck in the cycle. it happened because they borrowed more money than they could earn. finally, they will continue to borrow until they can pay off the debt.
maybe there are some people who are really addicted to borrowing because of their necessities of life, but I think this can be solved by increasing the income we have, or being really honest with the owners of the money so they replace it slowly. Cycles like this will be very difficult to stop if we have very little income.
898  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 07, 2023, 01:36:42 PM
of course, such a habit is a waste. if they get together and discuss business or business development, then that's normal, but I think you can do it at your friend's house, or somewhere cheap. However, if I were you too, then I would do the same. maybe an occasional get-together with them would be a good thing. however, if it's most days, and spending a lot of money for nothing, or even just getting drunk, I'd probably look elsewhere.
However, success sometimes starts from the association you have. if your friends are businessmen, then you will be compelled to do business that may be bigger than your friends. however, if the environment you say is like that, well you will also end up wasting money in the end.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: April 07, 2023, 08:27:58 AM
Well, the answer to that question depends on each of us. if you need money, or you feel that you have made a good profit, then selling a few percent is a good decision. it is an investment where you take enough profit, then continue the investment you have. If you feel that the coin you are targeting is cheap, and you have the money to invest, then choosing bitcoin or an altcoin would also be a good decision, but it is recommended to have popular altcoins.
however, if you don't currently need the money, and still want to invest, then hold onto the assets you have. if there is a chance, add little by little. Also, compared to bitcoin and altcoins, I tend to prefer bitcoin at the moment.
900  Economy / Economics / Re: If the dollar/fiat was worthless! on: April 07, 2023, 06:59:40 AM
bitcoin is currently often valued in dollars, and what if the dollar suddenly becomes worthless, then bitcoin will be valued based on fiat which was popular at that time. well, it doesn't matter what the dollar is worth, but bitcoin is bitcoin. it is very different to the dollar. bitcoin is only too often valued in dollars. maybe if bitcoin is no longer valued in dollars, then maybe bitcoin will be valued in euros, yuan, or fiat which at that time people were busy using. It's just that, if we think about this, I think the price of the dollar will never be 0. especially now that the dollar is still an international currency.
