881  Economy / Economics / Re: Im big fan of stable coins and this is what I think on: March 25, 2021, 05:24:44 PM
They cannot print money easily as the value of their currency will go low, Try to research it and you will know more answer about what you said. And also governmemt need our money thats why they ask for tax so that they have money to use for certain planned projects.

I wonder how @cryptoboss could ask government to lend his money to them 😀. World Bank is already there and other big countries who are willing to give loan to small countries.
They cannot print easily because they need a reason, last year US printed more money than how much fiat was printed for the whole two decades. But they cannot keep printing which will result into hyperinflation that is why government keeps the inflation rate under 6% for a normal year.
You might think like that, but people were worried about these printings as well and yet they did it and there is no hyperinflation. Hyperinflation would happen if the money you spend would become useless and just saved at the banks of the people, reality is that we have a lot of people spending that, as long as the money is in the circulation there is no problem, if there is a "need" for the money there is no problem at all.

This is why I think there is nothing wrong with this. There is a big deal about this, who knows what will happen with the money printed there, but I do not think that USDT or others are nearly there, they are capable of printing much more, look how much they grew from last year, BUSD wasn't even a thing people considered and now it is in billions and USDT was under 10 billion if I am not wrong whereas now it is God knows how much.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the central bankers trojan horse out of fiat. on: March 25, 2021, 02:38:16 PM
Who will own all the coins in the end?
Who can buy all the miners right now?
Who can buy all the coins right now?

The central bankers.

If and when bitcoin replaces fiat. The guys with the most miners at that time will always stay on top.

You want to make something better than fiat and bitcoin that will replace both of them?

Create a coin everyone mints at the same rate.
I hope you know very well that Bitcoin can never be used in replacement of conventional currencies right? That’s not going to be happening, nobody owns and there is no way that they can share it, so the best they are trying to do is regulate it and if they can’t regulate it they will ban it. It’s as simple as that, and there is nothing much they can do about it. Unless you’re going to say that they will create their own cryptocurrencies.

But, let’s say that they somehow manage to buy all the mines around the world and wants to be mining it themselves, people can still decide to leave the Bitcoin and go for other cryptocurrencies, there are so many of them that we have in the market, more than a thousand.

885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you trust the most? on: March 03, 2021, 03:26:16 PM
USDT is incorporated, can be frozen and not 100% supported with genuine USD fiat, so it will be more risky to hold instead of USD. Despite the fact that it's on top 3 market cap and has numerous holders, however the two of them aren't assurances to say it's protected.
It is like using dollars itself because it can be tracked and frozen if they think you are wrong or anything suspicious is found. I am not indulged in any illegal means but this control over cryptocurrencies and addresses kills the purpose for which bitcoin was made.

I just hodl a banch of usdt because i know that every exchange support it
Doesn't make any sense at all to me about holding a stable coin because the value is going to remain the same and what benefits are you going to get by holding it for years I can't really guess. Are you staking them and earning interest? If that's the case it makes proper sense but otherwise its quite perplexing.

The cost is extremely unpredictable right now, so it's smarter to purchase more modest sums throughout a more drawn out timeframe than to simply purchase at the same time. I think USDT keep stable and have potential greater cost depend how world circumstance, perhaps when get uplifting news usdt can get sway more exorbitant cost albeit few percent however more strength to keep stable on more exorbitant cost.
No matter how bullish the market gets, the value of the stable coin is going to remain the same in case you are expecting any kind of price changes in stable coins.

Yes if the dollar itself does well like your country's currency goes down in terms of USD then you will benefit because you get more fiat for the same USDT you hold. That's the only positive I can think of holding USDT.

Another big deal happened during the game last night, Lebron passed 35k scoring mark, that is incredibly how he can score so much even at his late stage career, dude is 36 years old and has been selected to all-star starters for 17th year in a row, I have never seen such a great longetivity from anyone, sure many players were good for many years but this dude is team changing, superstar that makes any team he goes to win a championship level of player at age 36 and we have rarely seen that from anyone.

By calculation there is 1911 points left, he could just average 20 for 1.5 more years and he will be getting that at age 37 or so. And for Kareems record which looks quite unbreakable even from here, he needs to play until he is 39 or even 40 depending on what he averages. This all of course depends on how he scored in the next 2-3 years and if he gets injured or not, dude could be all time scoring leader by age 38 if he keeps this pace up without ever dropping.

889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you develop stronger hands? on: February 01, 2021, 06:30:21 PM
I'm finding my calls are right, way more than 50% of the time, but I'm not as profitable a trader as I should be, because it seems more often than not, there's either a dump out, the chart starts to look like it's turning bearish and I begin to lose confidence in my calls.  Then I might set a stop loss and there's a shake-out, it eats through my order, then the trend turns around and basically does exactly what I had originally called.  Or if it starts dumping I might panic sell.
You must be trading with alts because bitcoin has seen a gigantic bull run and if someone fails to profit in this kind of run, trading is not for them. But coming back to altcoins trading I feel that you should always invest in coins with high trading volume, the reason I am saying this is because the coins that have a big market cap do not collapse easily and minor price fall won't change your mind like you said you panic when a bearish run happens so having a big market cap means you won't shake easily even as the value drops.

I'm typically more profitable if I do not even look at the chart, like at all, after making my buy.  Not sure that's good either.
Speaking from personal experience that might be the best thing one can do and just don't fall for ICO scams. I mean the crypto market is too hard to predict and with altcoins the pump and dump game always happen so better invest in the worth of the coin more than the cost.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: February 01, 2021, 08:49:53 AM
You sell something and later down the road, that goes multifold.

How do you deal with such things in positive way?
That’s why it’s good not to hurry at times, but there are also times you will decide not to hurry and you will end up losing your money, so how do you deal with a situation where you lose your money?

You know that’s worst than when you sold early but you still have profit, so a situation like this one should be more easy to handle than the one where you’re losing money. The thing is that you should take away greed and appreciate the little profit you have got and understand that it’s not a must that you are going to get every thing. Maybe next time try to not to sell everything and just sell some and leave the rest.
891  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 31, 2021, 08:20:30 PM
Most people will be playing with over $1 stake on their spins so yeah The King Roo will probably only last for few seconds / minutes. If you are playing regularly on the site, then getting King Roo while playing would be a nice cash bonus but if you are literally spinning with the purpose of hunting for King Roo then it might not be worth it

I've tried this once in the past and I think I last for less than 15 seconds after spinning for around 150 spins . Unless you hit over 100x with less than 15 spins then it might be worth it  Tongue

Yes on the first hit I last at least 2-3 minutes and you know even if 2-3 minutes I can get a bonus of $40-50  Grin Unfortunately the 2nd hit only lasted a few seconds lol
I realized that there were more and more participants and it was not the right time to hunt. I must say the right time to hunt is when this event opens at the first hour when other players weren't aware of it  Grin
Obviously as soon as it opens is definitely great since there are less people, but roobet has a lot of things you can chase and you can check them out as well. I believe gambling in roobet doesn't mean just gambling, it also means incentives, the only other place like this I know of is freebitco.in which gives a ton of free stuff, literally built as a faucet so it makes sense that they give free stuff, but at the end of the day we are talking about people actually gambling to win or lose but have a side thing that gets them back up a bit which exists only in these two places.

Definitely other places have some promotions time to time, and they even have VIP type of stuff with rakebacks I am not going to lie they do, but none of them are as much as this and as common for everyone as these two places. If you fail at one, you go and do another one because there is plenty.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 31, 2021, 07:00:35 PM
West is quite tight once again, I wonder what is going to happen, every team is quite good this year again. Spurs was 4th a game ago, now they are 9th after just one loss. It means that just like last year whoever ends up at the 8th spot could be decided with just one game.

Usually the team at the 8th spot gets swept so it is not really a big deal but going to playoffs still means a lot, even if you get swept in the first round that means you are going to play at least 2 games in your home court and means more money, even if there are no fans on stands you make more money from the tv rights, and more money means owner is more inclined to get players and go over luxury tax. Look at Warriors, they went over the tax so many years in a row and even built a new stadium but they were capable of doing it with the amount of rings they have won and earned money as well.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 31, 2021, 04:20:03 PM
You bet that’s why a lot of people wants to be famous, because when you’re famous you have a lot of people that follows you and most of them are always ready to do as you say, whatever you say as a famous person will usually trend and if you tell your fans to do something they will listen to you and do just that.

Although another thing you have to know is that it’s not all about being famous, you also need to have a good name, because that’s what’s going to make a lot of people to like and do whatever you say, than when everything about you is negative.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 30, 2021, 04:23:53 PM
Two poll questions of interest. If I will contribute to the poll selection, I will answer "yes" to both questions. The central bank's digital currency is money because we can make payments, buy, send, and receive digital currency. Likewise with cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has the same function as a central bank digital currency. However, the two currencies have many differences.

should, the questions of the poll are:
1. Are the central bank's digital currency better than cryptocurrency?
2. Are cryptocurrencies better than central bank digital currencies?
I would say the reason why one was yes and the other was no came down to peoples hatred towards central banks. Have you seen the situation with the gamestop happening right now? I mean from the far right extreme groups to far left extreme groups and everyone in between we are talking about a combined agreement that wall street was bad and people should be capable of trading the way those huge hedge funds can trade and everyone in the entire nation sided with the retail investors over hedge funds.

If people can hate few billion dollars worth hedge funds that much, think of how much they hate central banks, that is even worse I believe. So when central bank says they will give out free money to everyone it will be hated, that is how much people hate them, hence when similar things were asked it wasn't a "response" by the public, it was more about "fuck the central banks" type of thing there.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: January 30, 2021, 11:07:15 AM
What do you think after this incident bitcoin passed through ATH.....! Go up to the next or vice versa.
Speaking is not based on predictions, only seeing from existing experiences.
We tested a new ATH in the new year, so the question a lot of people have been asking now is whether the price will still go down or keep setting new peaks from this new ATH since there are lots of institutions that are investing in Bitcoin; these people are forgetting that there are also individual investors and another question should be whether individuals are selling or not, because I know for sure that most of them have been looking for ways that they will sell their coins, and even people who invested long ago are coming back now to look for ways they will sell those coins and cash it out.

From the past cycles of bitcoin markets, we can speculate the highest ATH will occur by December month and then market may start facing bear markets from 2022 onward.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can reduce our chances of loss on: January 30, 2021, 10:10:59 AM
Many newbies nowadays follow trading signals on social media, so they don't do research properly when it comes to investing in Crypto. They only believe that in the group they are promised 2x-10x profit in the near future when investing in certain coins, even though newbies are only used by group owners for personal gain. By pumping and dumping coins that have a small volume, which is easy to manipulate. Therefore I completely agree with the opening post, choose top alts which are safer to get profit.
You know if the pump and dump happens and you somehow know about it then those are the best times to make profit too. Years ago I remember there was a coin whose pump was almost certain and I cannot remember the coin name but it was like yeah the prices are going to bloom and I bought some which yielded good profits later as the pump happened and I sold my coins without any hesitation because the coin was not going to last long but pump was always a good possibility given the hype.

1. Hold if the coins are top coins or still have good liquidity or good trading volume.
As long as it still has good liquidity and volume, you may not need to panic yourself because the price is dropped. Be patent and hold for a higher price (maybe also need longer time).
Volume is a good indicator how the coin is doing in the market and a coin which has small volume but is swinging it simply means the pump-dump thing is going on and not worth getting into it unless you are part of it.
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 29, 2021, 07:08:19 PM
Depending on the original purpose of buying Bitcoin for short-term or long-term, if indeed from the beginning we bought Bitcoin for long-term investment, of course choosing HODL until the next few years according to the desired target is achieved.
You know what's the problem with it? Next year you will face the same question because no matter how high the prices went it always feel like we should wait more. So you have to make up the mind and define where you want to sell and how much profit is enough for you. Too much greed can let you down while panicking is always horrible so make up your mind for a specific price and whenever it is reached just sell it. And hey you can always buy again too so its not like its one way deal.

However, if you buy Bitcoin just to get a profit, I recommend selling your Bitcoin immediately if it has managed to go up. Even though the profit you get is small, it doesn't matter, because you will buy Bitcoin again and sell it again when the price goes up again. You can do that every day, because Bitcoin price is volatile.
I tried it but failed quite embarrassingly because the market was moving in one direction and I had to either buy and sell with $50 change which was not profitable or if I waited for big movement like 200-300 then it was not happening.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 29, 2021, 06:27:47 PM
I would say bitcoin is definitely one of the best to invest even at this price, we are talking about bitcoin here and there is a reason why it is the number one crypto currency. However if you are not sure about bitcoin I can suggest ethereum, neo, ada, bnb, uni and tron for you.

Tron is a bit centralized because justin sun has a big power over it so I would try to be careful, bnb is a bit centralized as well because binance and mainly cz has a bit power over it as well, however rest of them are quite good, I still do like tron and bnb even with those centralization issues as well so I invested in all of these. They are not really brand new projects neither aside from uni, I invested into uni only because the idea was awesome, I am not sure anymore, even though it is getting attention, the eth fee situation may make it not loved anymore in the near future.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 29, 2021, 04:10:00 PM
For me the true investment is the projects that help Polkadot achieve success.
I invested in $PCX they are providing the bridge between Etherium, BTC, KSM etc ... with Polkadot.

This is what is needed we need to combine the projects and make the good ones better using the new ones.

That is why I am a true believer of PCX.
I do agree that polkadot itself can't succeed without any help. Ethereum is not the second ranked coin because it is great itself, it is ranked second because there are thousands of other coins that is tied to ethereum chain, look at metamask and you will see a thousand different coins all tied to erc20 and that is the reason why ethereum became so big, even defi ones are tied to ethereum as well.

So long story short if polkadot wants to be huge, it needs to have a lot of other projects built on top of it, no coin can surpass ethereum all by itself without any usecase or reason to buy it, people need a reason to buy a coin and if you do not provide them enough reasons it will just become "buy it now so you can sell when it goes up" and that is not enough reason to make something become huge. New things that are being built on top of it will show how good it will be.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: $80k within 6 weeks, new ATH October 2021 on: January 28, 2021, 06:45:34 PM
I do think that we're already in the consolidation stage right now. The $30k support has been tested, but I do feel that prices can go down to even the $20k zone before another run up occurs.

The good thing is that short term speculators with weak hands will be flushed out by this. But people do need to realise that just because BTC isn't rallying on a day to day basis, doesn't mean that we're no longer in a bull market. The sentiment is still overwhelmingly optimistic, and with much more strengthened fundamentals this time, it will be hard to see the bull market not stretching out for 1-2 years (which is why traders shouldn't expect daily action in the first place).
The difference between 2017 and today doesn't stop with that only, we also do have altcoins increase in fiat amount a lot as well whereas in 2017 alts were almost dead and had a huge increase AFTER bitcoin dropped, now we see ethereum going from 200 to 400 to 700 to 1000 to 1400 dollars back to back.

Everyone is feeling the big increase but that is the hype we have, right now everyone is in bull mode and even with the fall we are not letting it go down anymore and working hard to keep buying even when it is going down. However do not forget that the feeling of hype existed in 2017 as well, what happened was price went down and some people left, it went down a bit more and more people left, and it we.. well you get the point, the more price falls the less people stands in hype and eventually it crashes. So just because that hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it will never happen.
