881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: August 31, 2023, 04:17:28 PM
If the bet had a 100% chance of winning, I'd definitely go all in. However, I'd still have that lingering feeling of a potential loss even if the bet is guaranteed.

Events in the future aren't ever truly guaranteed at 100%, IMO anything could change. OK To be honest, I'd aim to wager as much as possible but not absolutely everything. I prefer to avoid potential trouble in case that something impossible occurs. So I'd likely use the money that I could afford to lose only for that one specific bet.

There’s really no 100% guaranteed win bet but since this is a hypothetical question then you should consider is as guaranteed which in realistically speaking, I will go all-in including loans to increase my bet size since this is one time opportunity of your life.

Why the need to worried if the bet is guaranteed? We are not talking about real life bets here. I think the main point on this thread if will user follow human behavior for doing all in bet or will still doubt in the presence of opportunity like this.
882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 31, 2023, 03:05:24 PM
This won't work because once you get addicted, your families will question your stressful looks and where your money goes after you get them. Sometimes people who hide their gambling habits fall into debt because they don't want to ask for money from their parents siblings or friends and in the end, they will just know the truth because a person like this will lose every chance he has to hide it.

I knew someone in real life that falls exactly to your example. He has no job and leaving with parents and sibling while he secretly addicted on gambling. He is playing on physical casino secretly that’s why no one notice it. His family knew about his gambling addiction problem after those lenders that he failed to his debt shows up on his house.

The debt grow to 1M pesos which is amazing how he managed to get that huge loan despite of being jobless. Their family can be category to middle class but the specific person doesn’t have job. I’m speculating that he is stealing funds and luxury items from his parents stash.
883  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tell me one legit site with esports and sports markets on: August 31, 2023, 11:51:56 AM
Hello,

Can you tell me any legit site with esports and sports betting markets? like coinplay and 1xbit but trustable? Thanks

What do you mean like coinplay and 1xbit but trustable? What specif feature you are looking for because your statement might give a wrong impression that you like both scammy casino.

It's very hard to suggest sportsbook casino with that limited information but you can try Trustdice.win by clicking my signature since it offers e-sports and sports betting markets. I'm just not sure if the odds is same to 1xbit since I never visit that casino.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 31, 2023, 11:45:59 AM
I think we should not expect to gain anything from gambling. If we don't expect much from here then there will be no purpose to get regular earning from it. In gambling sometimes some can win or loss, it is a great opportunity. One thing that is never possible in gambling is to make certain income. Since luck can never bring you continuous wins, there is no possibility of getting fixed amount of money from here. So when we won't have any big expectation at that moment we get real joy in gambling.

Technically speaking, He can if he have massive bankroll to overcome the losing streak and maintain a continuos betting until he manage to get his target profit. For example here is if you have Billion dollar and try make 100$ bet per day and martingale whenever you lose. You will surely hit the win on a 50% chance game whatever will happened as long as your bankroll can sustain the losing streak but this assuming that the game is probably fair.

You will also earn from rakeback and other VIP rewards but this all just theoretical because casino will surely not allow someone with huge bankroll to play this way because this is unprofitable for the business.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Glitches still affects online casinos? Or it's the casinos that sucks on: August 30, 2023, 11:41:14 PM
Now who is to blame for this? The casino or your internet connection or something else? I've asked this on Twitter and some said it's technical glitches, that's acceptable, but if this costs you some money, all because of technical glitches who is responsible for your loss? What will you do about this?

This incident should be avoided if players didn’t continue playing at the first time this glitch occur because you will never lose significant amount of money on a single spin. The only time the casino should be blame here is when you have strong internet connection and your game still glitch that result you to lose your money that you are not betting at all.

But for a game that experiencing problem and you still continue that result to loss of your money then the blame should be directly towards the player that keep using the faulty software instead of reporting it.
886  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unethical Practices: Involvement of Bots and Fake Accounts for contest/race on: August 30, 2023, 11:09:11 PM
I don't know if you are telling the truth or not, but this casino does not have a good reputation on trustpilot, it is visible the scam accusations against them that are on trustpilot
To be honest, Trustpilot trustscore is not accurate anymore since even reputable casino score very low in there due to its score system can be influenced by a single person that will create dummy account to give negative feedback against the casino. Most of this user are those cheater that can’t get their money back after their account got bust. Duelbits has a 3.7 score in there and even Stake.com has 12% 1 star of their ratings for accusing of being scam casino.

Using trusted review site like gosu is more accurate for reference on determining the reputation of the casino.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your altcoins for bull session (Between Rank 30-200) on: August 30, 2023, 11:03:26 PM
I know bull is still away from us but as an investor, I'm excited from now. And today market condition also impressing, altcoins start pumping hard and going on. So are you excited for upcoming bull session like me? What altcoins you are holding? Are you planning to hold ONLY Layer 1 altcoins? Or some more altcoins for More profit?  Kindly share your altcoins name if those are ranked from 30 to 200, according to Cmc and coingecko.

All altcoins in general move on the same direction along with Bitcoin since the crypto market is revolving on Bitcoin in terms of price trend. Holding multiple altcoins is almost useless since they are following same trend which means diversifying is not really important. The only advantage of holding multiple altcoin is the chance that some of your altcoin will skyrocket out of normal pump range of tokens.

I’m planning to hold few altcoins but only those show a sign of mega pump in the pump and still have strong community until now and not those shitcoins that already dead.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question on Governemnt's Sales of Seized Bitcoins on: August 29, 2023, 03:02:26 PM
Between 2011 - 2023, the U.S. has auctioned of some bitcoin holdings said to be worth $366.5. million. Other countries that have seized and sold off bitcoins holding are Australia, Germany, Netherlands. I want to know, when the government of a country who have seized bitcoins decide to auction it off, do they auction the bitcoin based on the price as at the time it was seized or at the current market price which is the time it is being auctioned off?

It’s not a sales but rather an aucion. The price will be dictated by the bidders and possibly close the current price or a little bit higher since we are talking about bulk purchase here on a same price which you can do on exchange with thinner volume.

The government has no legal obligation to sell it on the price when it was seized since they need to maximize profit from it. Many institutional investors accumulate their Bitcoin holding from this kind of huge haul auction from government and miner that’s why the price is not heavily impacted despite some whale surprsingly manage to stash huge chunk of Bitcoin which in reality should pump the price hard if they purchase on the open market.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 29, 2023, 01:58:40 PM
The Philippines mounted a remarkable comeback, showing their strength in the 4th quarter. However, they couldn't overcome Italy's strong 3-point shooting, and fell slightly short. Personally, I find their effort commendable, especially since I placed a bet on them with a +12 handicap – which worked out well. With their journey now concluded, it's time for the team to relax and embrace an early vacation.

FINAL SCORE  83-90

Gilas perforfance is really commendable considering how they can rally against strong team internationally. We are just lack of tactics to beat them but we have a pure skills to rival foreign team which is already enough to be proud for our national team. We need to adjust our strategy next time because all enemy team manage to shut down us on 3rd quarter which is a clear sign that something is wrong on our coaching staff.

I like the effort of Renz Abando as being the most defensive player even with his height disadvantage. Coach Chot should utilize him well on 3rd quarter since this is the quarter that we have lousy defense and offense. All other teams that we encounter can setup screen well to create space to the point guard while we can’t do the same since Clarkson and whoever holds the ball always double team without any help which is painful to watch.  I’m not a believer that our coach is the problem before but having same result on all 3 matches without adjustments shows how enemy team know our weakness and that is the lack of adjustment.

Still good game well played.
890  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hardware wallet survey on: August 29, 2023, 12:42:21 PM
Ano ang issue with Ledger?

891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: August 29, 2023, 12:30:12 PM
In order not to over stretch this topic, I just want us to dialogue candidly on your personal experience as to the one time you were so late in making a bet, but had to do it anyways.
Did that last minute bet make you win or you lost more and regretted the decision?

How late is too late to place a bet or make a wager in both online and offline games and matches?

Crypto sportsbook typically offers live betting on all sports so a late bet is literally when the sportsbook close the market for additional bets due to the game is near to conclude.

The “late bet” description pertains on bets that you don’t have time to analyze and bet with just spur of the moment. I typically made this kind of bet when I forgot that the match that I was supposed to place bet is already started due to my loss of time tracking for the schedule. Typically, last minute bet doesn't gave me a good result because I didn't put enough analysis on it.

No one or only few can manage to become successful on this kind bets.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto Volatility..??? on: August 28, 2023, 05:49:40 PM
What do you guys think ?? Is it just me or some of you others feel the same??

And if it is like that then what do you all think when the wild ride start again like old days ??[/i][/b]
The trading volume and the amount of liquidity is the answer to your question. There’s a higher demand now comapred before while the liquidity on the order book is much thicker that makes sell and buy order doesn’t result to a much volatile market compared before.

The existence of institutional traders that holds huge amount of crypto assets in exchange to their fiat money that is now injected on exchange liquidity makes the crypto trading less volatile. You will experience same liquidity as before if this whales removes there existing open order and start to take profit.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hong Kong officially launches its first Bitcoin and crypto trading platform on: August 28, 2023, 03:47:28 PM
This is a good move to crypto adoption in that region since it’ll gain more use and popularity there. Privacy of ownership while trading with those platforms will be very limited. Overall, I think it is still a good development looking to the mass adoption of bitcoin we are anticipating for.
the real news is that hongkong is a gateway for chinese citizens, which means that chinese people can now again trade bitcoin, whereby china previously banned bitcoin trading

Will China allow this? AFAIK Hong Kong has special type of government that gives them a little bit of separation from the Mainland China. I didn't read the full scooe of this exchange but I doubt China will permit this exchange to accept people form the Mainland. Correct me if I'm wrong because it's nonsense that they still ban all form of cryptocurrency use on their mainland and allow their people to use Hong Kong to bypass their law.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: August 25, 2023, 04:47:32 PM
if there is no cheating in the gambling, you can try it, but this is indeed risky, you are in full control of your assets. it's natural to be jealous of friends with large incomes especially by just playing gambling games and we want that too, but we can't be them, not necessarily our luck is the same, if we fail try to try other opportunities.

This is irrelevant to the topic. The OP main point of discussion here if he will use tipster channel that provides bet pick for him since he can’t win on his own analysis even if he analyze it with extra effort.

I don’t read on the thread that will be related to your post, is it possible that you post to the wrong thread?  Btw how can you can determine cheating on gambling as a player?
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 12:51:03 PM
It’s really impressive how Gilas manage to keep the game even with KAT32 aggression. Clarkson already had his rhythm after his cold game on the starting of the game. I’m not sure what’s wrong with Clarkson ball handling but he seems like easy to lose the ball even with an open space before he attack.

Kiefer already redeemed himself against all his basher after performing a very good quarter to cut DR lead to tie. He is really good point guard on this game because he can optimize and dictate his teammates well to have a good shooting position. Hoping that Gilas will win tonight against this strong DR.
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take your eyes off from the fall in price on: August 25, 2023, 11:29:53 AM
If you have a huge investment amount in place you won't find it easy to take your eyes off from the chart. Frankly speaking!

If bitcoin is the only investment you have and you are investing with money you can't lose then it's true that you can't take your eyes off it.  but if you are investing with idle money and have a long-term plan, you will almost never care about that, let alone never take your eyes off the chart.  like me, I have a busy job outside and don't even have much time to open my phone to look at the hourly chart. I can only check the market at the end of the day when my work is done.  whether it is a big or small investment, it depends on your investment plan.

Even with idle money as long as the amount is considerably significant then you can’t remove the possibility of checking it too often because that’s still your money which you save through your salary or other source of profit. The only time you can rest assured to not bother checking your investments is when you put an amount of money that you can afford to lose or simply too small with regards your finance.

Having an investment plan is very hard to implement on crypto since you have full control to your investments which you will always be tempted to sell it whenever the price move significantly unlike typical investment plan that has maturity date before you can out your investment.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 09:51:04 AM
Casino wallet is not for you to save your coins. It is basically for you to receive reward from the casino after you have played with them. I realize most gamblers don't keep sufficient money or coins on their gambling app for long, either they send it out to their noncustodial wallet for more safety, remember not your key, not your coin because casino can have issue and seize to exist. It is a big risk to keep your coins in casino wallet, it is better with your fiat bank account.

Aside from being risky due to security reason, leaving your asset on a service that meant for gambling while the money you are putting on it is for savings purposes is directly contradicting to each other. Casino is more on risk of losing money while putting money that is not meant to be spent will be exposed to a possibility for spending.

I don’t recommend bank savings either because it has a limited amount to be insured. Storing money on non-custodial wallet using Bitcoin is the best way to save money long term.
898  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] PlayBita.com Crypto Down or Up? Join us ! on: August 25, 2023, 09:46:15 AM
The website has a delay on responsiveness when clicking the buttons, I like the animation and how it displays bets of each side and the price action but it seems like the movement is not smooth when using larger screen device.

This game is like the pancakeswap version of bears vs bulls but the difference is anyone can join while the games is still at play. Nice game but you should improve the UI that will fit larger screen device.
899  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: August 24, 2023, 04:45:34 PM
There was a time that they communicated a lot better and also had a roadmap that they followed in detail. Every thing they listed, got realised in the time frame they mentioned also. Nowadays, the communication is gone, they recently made a post but didn't comment on anything which is a pity. Guess only time will tell what will happen to see if the BFG token will ever be listed on a big CEX.

I think an up-to-date roadmap is one of the things that many investors pay attention to, especially those who want to invest for the long term. I don't know what the reason is, but the Betfury team has really started to neglect updating its roadmap. The third quarter will be over soon, but Betfury has a roadmap only until the second quarter, which still doesn't have a single item marked on it.

Because there's nothing be updated since they already have an established working product which is the casino as their end goal for the project. The development is more focus on the casino since which they give update on social media. They are now a casino unlike the typical shitcoin project that doesn't have a working product which is the main focus of their roadmap.

What I want for the BFG team to made is to give plans for the future of BFG token since it seems like token holders already abandoned with the current low APR on BFG staking and no utility at all aside from token being use on the casino for bets and rakebacks reward.
900  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Take on iGaming Promotion Through Social Media on: August 24, 2023, 01:51:00 PM
Anyway, social media is probably the NOW and the nearest future of iGaming/Gambling promotion. Although most operators still uses affiliate networks and partnerships as core of their marketing strategies.

I beg to disagree here. Social media is very sensitive and easily moderate gambking activities if multiple problem that related to gambling arise. Twitch is the best example here to prove that social is not the future since they ban gambling related streaming on their platform due to multiple issues on gambling related their user.

This will gonna happened too on other platform if iGaming will become a hit on social media since there will always be a case related on gambling such as addiction, scam and other form of issues which social media moderator will surely take action to protect their consumer as the law dictates.
