Keep it, spend it, hoard it! The great thing is, its your BTC! Do what your gut tells you.  Grin
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Buttercoin on: April 08, 2015, 04:24:06 PM
I've never even heard of this coin, but yes, I have to agree. Horrible name.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PAYCOIN IS OFFICIALLY DEAD on: April 08, 2015, 04:23:33 PM
Stop spreading lies... this scam is very much alive and will likely continue with or without Homero behind bars.

Ouch, hopefully this scam is over!
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and the zombie apocalypse on: April 08, 2015, 04:22:53 PM
Know what's gonna suck when the world freaks out and zombies arrive?  With people not alive to maintain internet networks, bitcoin will die and even if the internet does maintain for a while, and some groups of people survive, you will find damn few people who will care about anything bitcoin related at that point.

Just keeping it in perspective.........

I think we have bigger issues than bitcoin if that scenario unfolds, but yes, it won't be of much use, you are correct.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: April 08, 2015, 04:22:12 PM
I'm in the camp that sees it as being in both categories.

890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African migrants using Bitcoin to send money home on: March 12, 2015, 03:06:29 PM
The fee's are much less than those of Western Union, which has ripped people off since its existence. BTC is its biggest threat.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wall Street To Bitcoin: Does It Really Matter? on: March 12, 2015, 02:57:37 PM
It was bound to happen, many of these individuals are drawn to whatever is hottest. Many of them will move along, the first chance they get, which is fine as well. Its a free market, or at least its supposed to be  Grin
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we did stop calling it an experiment, did we not? on: March 12, 2015, 02:50:47 PM
I believe its still in the experimental phase, although it isn't just guess work anymore, it has proven itself, now it's only a matter of what it will truly become.
893  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: March 10, 2015, 01:31:48 PM
It really just depends on how much you buy and sell. If you are doing massive volumes, without a license, then yes you can expect to run into some trouble. If your just selling a few BTC here and there, I don't see why this would ever cause you any grief.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yesterday I helped this Leeds cafe / cyrstal shop with a way to accept bitcoin on: March 10, 2015, 01:27:30 PM
Congrat man, that is great work. Keep spreading the word. BTC is here to stay!  Cheesy
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 50,000 BTC of acution have been sent! on: March 10, 2015, 12:17:52 PM
Nice finding. Still unconfirmed transaction, so fresh hehe.

As far as I know the name of the winner is not published? Or is it?

If the buyer was smart, they would not publish their name. Can't see any benefit in doing so, unless its a major company.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's year 2050 and Bitcoin is the world currency... on: March 06, 2015, 05:23:10 PM
Supply and demand 101, inflation would rage and the price would catapult higher.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you "scared" that Bitcoin might actually succeed? on: March 06, 2015, 05:21:30 PM
I believe it would take a lot to get to that point, although am I scared? No, not at all. The World is craving change.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNN’s Morgan Spurlock ‘Survives on Bitcoin’ for a Week on: March 06, 2015, 05:16:48 PM
