881  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 1.2BTC/month just by posting! on: October 07, 2013, 05:48:59 PM
will the days of downtime be added to the month? Would be very sweet Smiley

I'm also interested in this.
Indeed, would be very nice to have those lost days back.

Yes, I agree with this motion. How can I get to 2k posts when I've lost days of posting time to downtime? Wink

I don't suppose it really matters... The posts will either gointo next month, or the current month.
It does matter, it is the difference betweet .6 BTC and 1.2
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: October 07, 2013, 05:46:47 PM
If we only knew there was so much money to be made in the beginning of Litecoin we would all have been rich...
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple.com - How does consensus work? on: October 07, 2013, 05:44:57 PM
it doesnt work, nuff said.

@Under me: You just say it perfectly sir.
I had ~500 Ripples at the beginning of this coin and just deleted my account becouse I don't want to help this development which actually defeats all perposes of Bitcoin in general.
884  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin and the little guy on: October 07, 2013, 05:44:33 PM
If you started mining with ~10 HD5870's in 2011 and kept doing just that and you kept most of the BTC you are perfectly fine to spend your free money on these 60% chance scams.
But for the avarage joe like us we just can't spend 10K on something we don't even know if it wil ever come...
885  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Buying other miners used equipment? on: October 07, 2013, 05:41:51 PM
Only if you want to undervolt the cards and mine more profitable alt-coins ...
This, and: For god sakes don't buy more than 6, these cards are old and have worked theyr asses of so don't expect too much reliability of them.
886  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: All 500 GH/s Miners And Above on: October 07, 2013, 05:39:48 PM
Until I have hard evidence that normal people have such hashrates in their hands I would not call all this a scam, becouse preorder is a scam imo.
887  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Running one USB Block Erupter with no Fan? on: October 07, 2013, 05:38:28 PM
Those things don't need fans, that you can't handle 60 degrees is fan fucking tastic but those devices don't give a fuck, those fans cost a fortune and kill the ROI you would otherwise also never have.
888  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: October 07, 2013, 05:33:08 PM
And now I will finnaly show my retired mining rig:

Specs:
2 Asus Radeon HD7850 DCII V2 @1250 Core, 6000 Mem (Mem doesnt affect my temps of power usage BTW)
Each around 400Mh/s/Kh/s so 800 in total. Could be more, I had one card running at 450 Kh/s but I don't want to stress em too much.
889  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: October 07, 2013, 05:27:47 PM

e: damnit theymos, please setup the [timg] tag.

Yeah, what happen and does this only occurs on yours or everyone of that batch?
It isn't his.

And BTW, This can happen to anything, if your toaster had Caps which it probably does they could also blow, same with your Motherboard.
890  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Are GPUs still relevant and for how long on: October 07, 2013, 05:24:17 PM
GPU's are like only relevant with altcoin mining, and LTC in particular.
In the beginning of LTC I could mine 1 LTC every 10 minutes @ 400Kh/s, damn shame I only mined 25 and quit it after that...

Now I have 800Kh/s sitting here occasionally playing some games for me...
891  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: What to do with one Block Erupter on: October 07, 2013, 05:21:37 PM
Use it to stab a BFL engineer.

Oh, wait. There are no BFL engineers.
Haha, sir you are awesome...

Anyway, I would let them mine for 2 months and then put em on Ebay for 15$ each so you atleast sell them.
892  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Why do people waste money on useless things for mining? on: October 07, 2013, 05:18:00 PM
$0.10 per kWh

WHAT?  Grin

you guys can be happy... costs 0.20 here
a modern office pc takes 30W, a gaming machine can waste easily above 50W just idle, thats 60-100€ only power cost

but the rPi is not the optimum even. needs SD card, case, Wifi dongle if you dont have a LAN.
i use a TP Link MR3020 aka european WR703N - 0.5W and has everything above already on board Wink
Hehe my Gaming PC uses 160W idle, it's fucking retarded... Gaming load on the other hand is only 300W and another retarded number: 550W On full load.
So be happy with your energy efficient mashines, and power here is easily 0.25 EURO cents, so 0,30$
893  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Largest Effective USB Hub for Block Erupters? on: October 07, 2013, 05:15:48 PM
What do you guys think of this.

http://dx.com/p/10-port-usb-2-0-hub-with-external-power-source-100-240v-ac-adapter-33189

Can you run a different but simple power supply, something with 5 volts but with 4amps, That should let you comfortably run 7 ea.

They list the psu as
- Comes with 100~240V US plug AC power adapter
- Output: 400mA

1 asic need 500mA or .5 amp.

I use Roswell RUB-500 10 port hubs, they have a 4 amp psu, enough for 8 miners.  I run 7 to have a .5 amp headroom.

I've seen 6 of the rhb500's connected to a single rhb500 and the single connected to a RPi, runs 64 miners with no problems. The single hub also held 4 miners.

I have more hubs and miners on the way, good way to waste money.

Have you even made ROI with 1 of your erupters?
I mean, a hub is mad expensive, you are killing ROI by buying em.
Better stick em in a PC and let that PC mine too = double profit.
894  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Unique Bitcoin Casino script - 1 COPY LEFT!!! on: October 07, 2013, 05:11:56 PM
Also 3.28 mb or whatever is not big enough for PHP scripts or files

I think it would be sufficient for site code.
So what?
Charging 350$ for a product that you can't see is plain retarded.
895  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] PlantMan's Hot Pepper Seeds (Ghost Chili, Trinidad Scorpion, Tobasco) on: October 07, 2013, 05:00:45 PM

Hmm, how big are these in CM/INches/whatever you use?

Okay, it seems like 15MM.
I don't have a sea of bitcoins but I will think of it...
897  Economy / Collectibles / Re: New Bitcoin Specie by the makers of New Liberty Dollar on: October 07, 2013, 04:54:08 PM
You know what would be awesome, to have a little hole on the top side of the coin so you could like make a thread trough it and wear it and show people you have bitcoins Smiley

Some Silk Road users sold perfectly legal items, like art and books. I wonder if any of the legitimate users will be asking the FBI for their coins back?
How the fuck does one ask something to the FBI? WHO is the FBI? I mean, do we have a phone number dor such cases, would be very funny.
Not that I had ever heard of that site dispite being in the community for over 2 years...
