881  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 5 Avalon ASIC bitcoin miners with total of 340GH/sec on: December 03, 2013, 06:48:01 AM
come back in 90days n say if you got any returned or not..thanks Smiley

As a reference for those interested, I managed to sell all 5 miners for the listed asking price and had no problems with scammers as all money has now been released by PayPal and transferred to my bank account. One guy who had issues with PayPal even paid via cash deposit with no escrow so I managed to avoid E-Bay fees on one sale Cheesy.

Dead Die update

Got an RMA'd board back and it ran fine for a few days and a die died..   Turned off the fan, let it heat up to 82c and it came back on (switched to FW 94 from 98.1 beta for this)

let it cool with fan and run stable for 5 mins then switched it back to 98.1 and running fine.

so where is that tuning app KNC??   we need it

ya amen to that...I've noticed that my saturn will run fine for about 4 days on .98 and then all of a sudden a dead die...restart machine will get it back thou...i usually have 1-2 cores off with temps around 58c....

There are problems...

blockchain.info says Eligius found block a little over hour ago, but Pool stats says it has been over 4 hours since last block.

https://blockchain.info/block-index/442283/00000000000000048ba99d543052bb28d76f90f9e327299402e932173cb4b004

stats were messed up...wizkid fixed it...db is rebuilding Smiley
887  Economy / Services / Re: DannyHamilton's Escrow Service on: November 24, 2013, 01:50:44 AM
you around for escrow? tryed the call me thing but didn't work

I'm around now.  I'm sorry I missed your call. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you, I've had other people contact me that way successfully in the past.

If you're still looking for this escrow, send me a PM with the details.

maybe he's having a party or asleep.
I'm on GMT+8.

No party. No sleep.  Just didn't receive the call for some unknown reason.

i think google hung up on me lol
888  Economy / Services / Re: DannyHamilton's Escrow Service on: November 24, 2013, 01:49:56 AM
Anyone who's used this service care to vouch for the provider? I'll be needing an escrow real soon
and I've read far too many posts on John's thread regarding him being absent and not keeping his escrow service
users updated and I don't want to have to wait too long for a transaction to complete. Thanks in advance!

i can vouch for danny and if you've read this thread and his trust you'd see...used him for about 25btc so far w/o problem Smiley

Eligius us having problems I think. That round shares number that very quickly increases is moving at a snails pace. And my hash rate averages aren't moving at all. Ongoing issue?

ongoing...off n on for a few days

I live in Michigan and was thinking of taking a drive up to Lansing this weekend to check out the listed addresses. I'd like to settle the 200 outstanding shares I own.......or plug a miner or two in at my house

Pm tbomb and join in the discussion  Undecided
^^^ THIS!

And in all seriousness, if it ever comes to it, we might actually need someone in or nr MI to run the hardware.

good luck getting CX to release those miners lol

893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 21, 2013, 12:06:46 PM

What's the general recommendation for running the "enable all cores" patch? Is it wise to run if a Jupiter is running average / just below average hash speeds? Any glitches encountered?

enable cores just turns on all cores on and then restarts the machine...and most likely the cores will just shut off n on again...I have 2 boards that will have a max of 9 cores off to as little as 2...tryed temp fix but no go Sad oh well I'm getting close to max outta it so i'm happy
894  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL SC ASIC (56 GH/s) on: November 21, 2013, 04:41:20 AM
is 3 a joke?

I'd hope so...but http://www.ebay.com/itm/121188018736?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

is a even bigger joke hehe
895  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] KNC module on: November 21, 2013, 04:11:15 AM
I will be picking up KnC modules from UPS tomorrow.
I will be selling at least one on eBay.

With bitcoin spike to $900 - everybody now is aware of the potential. 6BTC for the module might be not a bad price after all!

6btc is a bad price for it still...if you pay in btc that is...only estimated to make 6btc in its lifetime...but in usd ya have good chance at ROI

still...give me a link when ya put it up on auction
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 20, 2013, 11:20:34 PM
And please tell me, why do you mine at Eligius? Such an ugly site! That Wizkid and his pool.

I mine at eligius because with 11 Jupiters, 3% Fees would have been over 11 Coins already for me that I would have given to BTCGuild or other pools.

Why mine at any other pool when Eligius is 0% Fees? Because you like pretty Stats? Not worth all that lost money.

Also 105% PPS NMC helps out, get an extra coin or two per month. Pool basically pays you to mine there Tongue

so agree with this Smiley I love Eligius!!!

Why mine at any other pool when Eligius is 0% Fees?

Downtime.

I guess you could do elig + a backup pool.

I haven't noticed any downtime...but it is always safe to have a backup pool Tongue

899  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV, 0.4 BTC=67GH/s 14/30 shares on: November 20, 2013, 02:57:42 AM
My sincerest apologies for asking "stupid" questions but I have not done a Group Buy yet.
Am I correct in understanding that 1 Share= 1/30th of 2THs which is ~67 GHs?
How often will payouts be issued once hashing has started?
What pool will you be mining on?
Delivery for this GB is expected in Jan or Feb?

Thank you very much for your time and energy. And my deepest apologies again for "wasting" your time but I could not find the answers to these questions in plain sight.

yes 67gh/s
every 2 weeks
duno...i asked this ? too  Hopefully eligius Smiley
Feb. March now...feb just went outta stock
900  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] KNC module on: November 20, 2013, 01:24:24 AM
