883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just dropped to under 900$ and it keeps going down on: January 06, 2017, 08:01:22 AM
Well if the past is anything to go by this has only just begun.

Of course the past isn't always a reliable indicator!
Experience is the best teacher and it seems to me the recent price drop we are currently experiencing might be a result of a huge panic selling which is pulling the price down but with time just hope we recover.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: January 06, 2017, 06:48:43 AM
All of the above had given advice to find money. So I present another view of the life.

1. Face the truth
2. Do not spend more than you have
3. If you have pay cash
4. Control the charges of your account
5. Restrict the costly way of your life
6. Every penny counts
Yes I do agree this is the natural thing to do if things go really bad for you but if given the chance to act and you  have some assets well can probably trade them for cash or take out a loan to sort out the desperate moment .
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2017, 09:52:47 AM
As things stand china is doing the most mining and the seem to be doing most of the buying as well probably the reason for the rapid price rise.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2017, 02:18:59 PM
No one bank accept bitcoin in present time because bitcoin is digital currency and it can be use use just for online transaction and i think it can be possible that bitcoin accept in bank if bitcoin become in physical shape then i hope that we will be able to use it in any local shops .
And not even in the future, I am confident with that. It will only happen if the government can control bitcoin but the fact that they can't it will always be the same bitcoin and crypto world will always exist.
If we say no bank accepts bitcoin then how do most bitcoin debit cards get issued ? Am certain it has nothing to do with a government having control over bitcoin...
887  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: January 03, 2017, 06:01:11 AM
I would go for 500-1000 BTC for me to be a millionaire, as  the price of bitcoins is likely to double or triple within the given time frame.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: What has affected the price of Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2017, 03:35:13 PM
Sorry, but i don't know why price bitcoin increase quickly, yesterday i see price bitcoin is 967$ and today price is 1034$, what's happening?
Many people talk to me Chinese control Bitcoin, some people talk me demand of bitcoin increase so price bitcoin increase. Who should i believe?
I think this happened because of a growing demand for bitcoin. we know that the current bitcoin users continues to grow significantly.
because of these factors that make the price of bitcoin increased with ease.
Is it really because of growing demand for bitcoin and rising number of bitcoin users? Because if it's really so, I don't expect it to rise that fast and significantly, although it's a good sign of bitcoin's growth. I think it maybe because of other reasons, but I don't know what they are Grin

Well you can say it is due to that, but we cannot omit the factor of manipulation.  This might be a bubble who knows, but I guess this bubble will be greater than 2013 if it is.

Regarding supply and demand, bitcoin had been steadily uptrending ever since last quarter of 2015, there are major drives and campaigns that were launched by different company especially this MLM company that make people from rural areas knowlegeable of bitcoin.  The halving, brexits, decrease of yuan value, events in India and other factor that may contribute people to flock in Bitcoin had happened, the news about Pres. Trumps some officials being Bitcoin advocates.  This maybe the result of it.  And the hype or excitement of people because of bitcoin price surge this last December.  And I think the Bullish bitcoin is just warming up this year Smiley  So I think I will expect a continuous uptrend of Bitcoin Price.
This is quite an informative response and I do agree with most of your reasoning's as to why bitcoin has had a sudden hike in price, but the Trump officials being bitcoin advocates Huh I doubt that!
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scammers claiming to be Poloniex, but are not on: January 02, 2017, 09:27:18 AM

890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 02, 2017, 08:57:27 AM
I use two wallets blockchain and mycelium. I don't have much coins but I don't like to keep them just at one place. I'm happy with this wallets features and so far had no problems. But if I had large amount of bitcoins I wouldn't keep them in online wallets I think they are the least secure.
Correct if you have a large amount of bitcoins a hard wallet would be the best option especially if you are holding coins ,but if you are usually on the go I think blockchain.info wallet is well equipped for the job. Just remember to set the extra security features to avoid losing your bitcoins.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: January 02, 2017, 07:38:23 AM
You have every right to believe in bitcoin as its value is stable and there are may ways for you to cashout to fiat through a bitcoin debit card or an exchanger and it is now recognized by many so you have nothing to worry about.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 02, 2017, 06:34:15 AM
The best way to avoid a loss on your investment is to diversify into different ventures! You have an option of investing in an altcoin or you can invest in a reputable casino like crypto-games.net or you can have a chat with reputable money lenders on the forum and recapitalize their lending service...options are endless, good luck!

894  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2017, 05:22:44 AM
The best way to teach kids about bitcoin is to use video games that reward them for completing a mission and use that as a reference point to btc. And just let them know that if they want to upgrade a character they need to use money earned from their games then from there can we jump to mobile games with btc rewards!
895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: January 01, 2017, 09:39:04 PM
When bitcoin is shoots up the best thing to do is hold your coin, doing trading with small scale of your bitcoin is fine, it will help you to gain some profit and bitcoin need to be spent so it can be grow further, when shoot up it will be a bad idea to change it with other alt coin, it will made your investment drop drastically

I think it will be better to sell Bitcoin when it shoots up and wait for the dip to buy them again.  Reading and watching trades I learn one thing.  In order for us to maximize our profit, let us ride with the whale.  Going against them will just give us losses.
I like your strategy and its practically easy to implement but are you are trader to assure us that this has worked for you because bitcoin trading seems to be a gamble.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 01, 2017, 07:42:09 PM
legendary performance to Harden tonight! 53 points 16 rebounds and 17 assists! nobody has managed to do this in the history of nba

If rockets will be top 3 in western conference, and harden achieves average 28+8+11, no doubt harden will be the MVP in this season.

I'd say Westbrook is in the lead for MVP this year. The man is averaging a triple double!
53-16-17 that's the number real MVPs post but then again this man Russell Westbrook is just on another level these guys seem to be throwing triple doubles everywhere and we should brace ourselves for more of these!
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How and where do I store my bitcoins? on: January 01, 2017, 07:13:50 PM
I have less than 10  in localbitcoins and about 5 each on BTCC and their justpay wallet.

I don't trade actively, just buying around 1 coin every week or two since a few months ago.

Should I be considering some secured wallet?

of course, you should be considering a secured wallet because you are having a huge amount of bitcoin . if you are looking for highly secured wallet then web wallets can't be recommended for you, maybe you should install a hard wallet to your pc and make sure you won't be attacked by a botnet or any malware . I guess installing a hard wallet on Linux OS especially Tails OS is the best .
Looking at the rate you are acquiring your bitcoins it would be the right time to consider a hard wallet like multibit or  a secure web wallet like blockchain.info and just remember to keep your  mnemonic safe should you ever run into problems with your wallet.
898  Economy / Services / Re: earn $0.40 for a simple download/sign up on: January 01, 2017, 07:02:48 PM
I would be interested in taking up this task but I do not see payment proof from you or the users who completed this despite you asking for more users to complete the task. Huh
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: January 01, 2017, 03:06:45 PM
Bitcoin is better than paypal in a lot of ways- with bitcoin no one will hold on to your money for receiving funds while paypal on the other hand that's a daily routine for them!!
Secondly its only a crypto that can allow you to send a cent of a dollar to someone while with paypal that's not even possible!!
Otherwise bitcoin will always stay ahead of PayPal.
