881  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Night @ Sportsbet (Private game exclusively for forum members) on: January 16, 2020, 05:14:51 PM
awesome, @Steamtyme and i have been discussing getting a bitcointalk poker game going. you guys are one step ahead of us!

i would love to join. we're talking about sportsbet.io? sadly they prohibit players from the USA. does anyone know if playing through VPN and depositing/withdrawing with bitcoin (no KYC) is possible? their terms sound a bit dicey:

Quote
We have the right to carry out "KYC" (Know Your Customer) verification procedures and access to your Member Account may be blocked or closed if we determine that you have supplied false or misleading information.
Quote
We reserve the right to block / delay processing of withdrawal requests until requested copies of valid photographic identification, proof of address and/or credit/debit card are provided to our satisfaction (KYC).

how often do they exercise this "right"? Lips sealed

if i can manage to get in the game, then a non-turbo sunday NLHE $10 buy-in sounds perfect. 2pm gmt = 6am pst, so a bit later in the day would be ideal but (shrug).....

I have just asked and will let you know asap!

Man, what would be better than a 6am poker game, hahaha. Cheesy

Other than that - come on guys, we need more players! =)
Looks interesting. Count me in, I will gladly join if accepted Smiley
P.S: What about using a VPN or proxy for accessing the site?
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: January 13, 2020, 06:01:51 PM
Gambling is not for the people who has no enough money its only for fun and hobby dont ever use money allocated for your family then use it gamble to be able to easily multiply it but its too risky not most of the time is lucky day so gamble only if you have some extra funds to playwith if you go all in with the money for your family then you lose all then the blame is you.

Those who have exceeds money and will not effect them even if they lose it they can play as much as they want beacuse it is not going to effect them even if they lose some money . In gambling losing is easy than winning it. So better to play for fun and if any money won can be just kept aside for fun activity .

I think if somebody want to play in order to lose their money so why don’t they try some online games of gambling in which they would not spend any money, in which they will get some enjoyment. Here you have quoted that if somebody has excess of money then he is free to spend as much as he want and don’t care to lose it but here I will say that why not they start some business with that money instead of losing.
Using the gambling winnings for feeding the family is not acceptable by me under any conditions. The gambling is based on fun and enjoyment, other variables are out of question for me. I have made a lot of mistakes about managing the bankroll on game sessions and I never enter the casino with idea of leaving with a higher amount what I have now.

Where are the developers of Utrust? The project looks like the left desert, I don't want to add one more shitcoin to the burning address.
You had to think about this before you bought this token. In principle, the purchase of tokens not during the ISO period is speculation and not investment, so there is one simple answer - it's my fault), you had to keep the funds in $$$
I don't accept this investment as a fault. The project was promsiing way back to 2017-2018, I don't feel guilty about investing in the Utrust. I am sure no one will complain of this thread if the Utrust hit the $5 per token.

$5 per token? Nice joke. Whats reason for this? I don't see any. There is no any adoption or some revolutionary payment system. Its impossible to see even previous ATH price
Current ticker UTRUST (UTK) is prices around $0.0094 and the ATH price was around $1.19. If something big news hit the crypto market, the prices of ATH can be doubled or even tripled. In that case, I don't doubt the UTRUST will be the exclusion, $5 is not impossible for $1.18 ATH coin.

885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 11, 2020, 04:46:52 PM
~snip~
There are many entertainments that require payment nowadays, similar to gambling that involves money, so I think it's possible
^ Definitely right, just like spending bucks for buying tickets and popcorn in watching movies. How about renting a girl in a club and spend a lot of your money just for entertainment in your self and have fun. Kinda wasting money but actually you can afford it and why not.
Gambling is similar to that if you are entertained on this very well, surely you will come back and willingly to spend as long as you will have have a fun activity. Nevertheless, different people have a different reason, others have a double purpose. They gamble for fun at the same time hoping that they will earn a profit.
and this is what gamblers must learn so they dont need to chase the losses.

the only problem in gambling is if we treat this as a place where we can make money, because when you are seeking for money is more that you will lose, try this to be a fun area and you'll see how good is this.

Money is something that if you can control your greed and have self control then one can gamble and enjoy as well as you would not be chasing behind money only but more about enjoyment and have fun as well while gambling.
In theory, sounds perfect but the reality is far from the theories on paper. The situation is not the same for all types of gamblers depending on personal wealth. The rich guys can throw away my 5-year salary in the single-game session and I am sure they will have a full of enjoyment without worrying about the money. For the small amounts, the greed and the fear don't let the gamblers to keep playing after a few series of losses.
886  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: January 11, 2020, 04:26:07 PM
I prefer it if LUCKYB.IT adds another deposit method with crypto, There are several popular cryptos in gambling ETH, TRX, LTC, Doge
Transaction fees are one of the reasons, we know that fees for Bitcoin are quite high, I hope Luckybit considers it.

the withdrawal fees right now at luckyb.it are very cheap it's around 0.00005BTC which around 0.4 USD
but if they add more crypto deposit it will be attracting more people to play on LB
It will be a good idea to have the alternative option for depositing small altcoins. I prefer to play with Doge balance which I can hold it for a long time even in the big loss series. Hope the team will consider his suggestions.

Never underestimate the influence of marketing. The advertisements are win-win case for the both providers and gambling sites. Every user deposits to the gambling site is the gain of site, and generally, the lost amounts are bigger than ad costs, in my opinion.  It becomes annoying for user but without the ads developers will not be encouraged for creating the new apps.

Well it depends actually. If a site is a popular one then don't have to rely on ads to generate money for them to cover the operational cost say for example sportsbet or even primedice. But for those who have just started but don't have enough bankroll to operate then they (most of them) chose to rely on ads. Marketing is an important tool and I don't underestimate but it depends on business to business so in gambling where gamblers are often looking out for something new, I don't think there are any site which relies on advertisement. Best they do is that they advertise their own promotions or promotions of sister sites or so.
Just out of curiosity why do the Bet365 and the Bwin need to advertise their service if there is the risk of losing their reputation for a long time? I am not an expert in this field, just it doesn't sound logical to cut the marketing costs and save it for better development.  I agree with you regarding the sister site but this is a different case, the different branch of sports-gambling under the same brand.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 09, 2020, 05:01:07 PM
Many gamblers are saying that they are only gambling for stress reliever but the thing is they keep becoming more stress if they lose in the gambling. For those who have a lot of money can say that gambling is for fun and stress reliever because they have a lot of money and they do not care even if they lose big.
It depends on the gambler. If they can accept defeat if they loss in gambling then they will not be stressed on it. If they see gambling as a stress reliever then they must know how to accept defeat if they lose and they know when to stop if they are winning.

People are gambling because they see gambling as a stress reliever and it is good too but these people are the ones who don't know where to spend they money from. In short, they are the rich gamblers who don't where to spend their money so they just put it in casinos.
Gambling can give you enjoy because if a person stress when they play gambling they become happy also if the lost is very little you can accept that easily. When Im sad or stress too I play gambling because this is one of my stress reliever too and sometimes I lost but after that Im happy because my stress gone even I lose money but only little.  Depends on the person if they want to play gambling for the stress reliever but make sure you have still control your money in betting on it.
As you mentioned, it all depends on the feelings and mood of the gambler. Personally, I gamble due to make small amounts while having fun and I love to calculate odd of chance in the single-game session, especially in the live blackjack. For example, Evolution games provide the best blackjack games which have variable choices for all type of players. Blackjack party game room is the stress-free zone for me with $0.5 bet-behind chips.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 09, 2020, 03:31:25 PM
I also prefer to play with the fiat money instead of the altcoins. There are such advantages like anonymous gambling, higher bonuses but the odds are not as good as in the other bookies for the crypto sports betting. For example, William Hill and Bet365 have the best odds after Pinnacle but none of the crypto sports betting sites come close to the odds by a variety of live betting choices.

WOW! I become encouraged when I see the big win photos on the gambling forums, social media. My friends also prefer old-school gambling, they all think what I do in the gambling sites is a waste of time. Due to the scam sites, the trust level is at its worst level but the fair casinos will recover this sooner or later.
This is the problem people. Don't get encouraged by these big wins since they are basically rare to begin with. Invest only what you are willing to lose. Don't blindly pour all your money into these sites and regret it later on just because you observed others win this way.
That is the reason behind gambling: We see the success of the gamblers-punters and want to follow their journey. Luck is an important factor but the combination of luck + money management can give tremendous results.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 08, 2020, 04:28:01 PM
Well I don't suggest to trust and install the gambling apps in the google play store because most of them are really bad I mean that's right you will view advertisement more than playing and it is annoying and also I don't want to play or install a gambling app in phone because my phone gets laggy and hot, so I prefer playing online or legit gambling websites.

I think the ones having advertisement are basically the ones where you don't have to risk money on it like some faucet-modeled games like TapMonkey and so... I don't think actual gambling sites apps have any advertisement. Why would they when they are getting money conducting their business normally.

I would like to see the gambling app containing ads as you are mentioning.

Did you know XRP is currently on the rise?
It's gone up 13% in 24 HOURS 🤑

What a win! This is amazing! Congrats to whoever it is!

It's funny that most people I talk to still think that everything is rigged on the Internet, and if I'd shown them this image, they'd say, "It's just an image from the Internet. How can you be so naive to think that the house allowed someone to win that big?" Smiley I have an impression that 90% of regular people think this way. It means that online gambling is still in its early stage. When people realize that Internet gambling can be fair, that's when things will really start booming.

What is the source of money you promise to the users? In other words, how did you decide to open such a platform? I don't ask the confidential information, just curious about the general working mechanism.

how to insert video here?

lmao. nice try. would be nice world if all scammers that dumb.

lol. I doubt any BTC whale will use the online forum marketplaces for selling $880k. Skrill(strict KYC&AML) will be the last electron wallet in my mind if I ever had wanted to make such deal. As you said, OP lost his credibility by ignoring the questions from other forum members.

897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: January 06, 2020, 04:07:37 PM
Yes it is true but not only those two, there are allot of reasons behind this. There will be "angel investors", who had bought early and will sell their tokens, there may be bounties and they used to sell at certain price. People dont believe in hodling for a long time now.
If you mean early bird investors who bought a bag before the launch of token sale, these investors have the interest to dump the tokens on the listed exchanges. They also favour price in their interest, pre-sale prices are much lower than ICO price. Holders don't have this opportunity to take the same gain as the pre-sale investors.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No matter how successful a bounty project is...... on: January 05, 2020, 04:57:06 PM
indeed on average the more participants promote the project, the fewer pegs each participant will receive. but it is not a serious problem, but the token that will be given to participants after the prize program is completed can have a high value in the market, so that even though the participants receive a small number of pegs, if the related token has a high price then I am sure everyone who participates will satisfied because related tokens are very valuable
In the perfect world, yes but we are not living in the fair world. The bounty campaigns don't allocate high amounts over %5 of the total token circulation, from my experience. The small bounty allocation means the price will protect its ICO value even if the all bounty hunters dump the token together.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ The Golden ICO - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: January 05, 2020, 04:30:06 PM
Jinbi Team cheated with bounty hunters. This bounty ended more than 15 months ago. The telegram channel don't give any update information about bounty more than 7 months. It proves that this project SCAM. Sylon sitll haven't published bounty spreadsheet publicly.
Sylon is active and I remember him/her as a reputable bounty manager. This is not a problem created by the bounty manager, the team refuses to answer the user's questions on social media platforms. So many people complain about the get blocked by group admins after asking similar questions.
900  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betroar.io – Try Bit Brawlers! 💰 UPDATE 11/26: .001 BTC Airdrops Extended! 💰 on: January 05, 2020, 04:09:11 PM
^^Yeah, this place is getting to that level of "well isn't it long enough" period. I defended their bugs and problems and withdrawal issues and many more stuff like that back in the day but the more time has passed and there are still people complaining about stuff and they still haven't fixed many other stuff like airdrops on the website while not giving any or airdrop text here.

Maybe that guy actually abused the system and he really doesn't deserve money, I can understand that, there are tons of abusers in the bitcointalk community and we have seen them in many other casinos but that doesn't mean that betroar is working hard to fix things, it has been months now and we are still getting troubles and late updates which at first was okay because it was new but now not so great.
I highly doubt the Op has an intention to fix the reported bugs and solve the mentioned problems. Almost all withdrawals are verified manually by the Betroar management and they will not send it easily. Just my 2 cents.
