881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just how bad is the bear demand right now on: May 27, 2023, 09:51:23 AM
since playing crypto I have felt 2x bullish and 2x bearish, the first in 2017 and the second in 2021. but for me last year's bearish was much better than in 2018, why is that? bitcoin low price in bearish last year was around $17k and low bitcoin price in bearish 2018 was around $3500 (i kinda forgot).
besides that last year's market conditions also recovered slightly faster than in 2018.
I don't see how the bear or the crash of 2021 was better than the one in 2018, you can't just see the bottom price of when the crash happened and determine which one was better or more severe. You need to see from what price it started crashing and where it reached at the end, if you look at it that way, you will know that the recent crash was more severe since it crashed from $69k to $16k.

And, we can still see the effects of the recent crash, we are yet to recover from it. The initial months of this year were pretty good in terms of market recovery, but then, it stopped again in the middle, and the price is declining again.

He's just a lucky coach, he always join a strong team and the team willing to extend his contract for many years. I would say Mourinho and Ancelotti are more experienced than Guardiola, both of them have managed various teams although not all of them are successful. But at least they both have struggle experience during manage a mediocre team, Guardiola is always coached all star players.
I do agree with you. I never seen him coaching the small clubs. He has been getting good result when pep was still on the barcelona but it will be so good to see him coaching the weak clubs without good financial.
As far as i know that if pep has always been coaching some big clubs in europa like bayern, barcelona and this time manchester city. It's not the same like mourinho which was always coaching big or small clubs.
We may be able to see pep to be a coach for a small club when his age becomes even older than this time.

It will be a huge challenge for pep. Im willing to see him managing the club in bad condition. The luckiest coach this century.
Currently, Pep Guardiola is 52 years old and his contract with Manchester City is going to end after two years 2025 which mean he could be 54 and his ten years will be left for having as coach for me most chances he will never go for any lower rank club because in last 15 years he coach Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City with most chances his contact will be extended which will allow him for more trophies here and then leave for better chance who know at PSG or any higher rank club which give him same luxury which he uses for at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City which makes him one of the best coach in soccer.

Here we can't compare coaches but still things are looking interesting for him with his amazing history as coach, and he holds record of six trophies in one season with Barcelona can repeat here at Manchester City is surely going to happen even this all is too early, but things like these can happen because he is skilled and good coach of current era.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: May 26, 2023, 09:56:30 AM
The way I choose new projects to invest is by looking at partners, investors and funds raised. actually there are many other considerations but these 3 things that I often see. some of the new projects that I think have the potential for long-term investment are APT, SUI, and ARB. these three projects have a lot of well-known partners, apart from that these three projects also have big investors such as FTX ventures, binance, and multicoi capital.
Do you tend to check and verify if the partners some projects claim they have are actually real and authentic and aren't faked partnerships? Because scammers understand that most users would believe in a project if it has lucrative partnerships with big companies and projects so they simply just put logos of big companies and projects on their website just to show that they have big partnerships.

I say that because I have witnessed this, I was once checking out a new project and analyzing it, and I noticed that they have a lot of big tech companies as partners on their website but the reality was that those were just logos and they didn't have any of them as their partners.
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives to Borrowing Money to Start Trading on: May 26, 2023, 08:42:30 AM
For newbies?? Are you sure about that?
Do you think that newbies can make their 10$ into 100$? Do you think that they can make their initial capital x10 knowing that they're just newbies.

I'm not saying that newbies have the same experience, but when I was a newbie, I'm very prone to FOMO's, and pump and dumps. It's because I was a newbie at that time, and I don't know anything about technical analysis, or trade base on what are the latest news. I'm pretty sure that newbies can't do that easily, so don't daydream.

Well, trading for 10$ as a newbie is a good way to kickstart your trading journey already, but don't expect to have good results on that one. Most of the time, you will incur losses because of you lacking of experience. Is there any alternatives that I know? Maybe just work harder, earn more money, and use that money to trade. I don't recommend borrowing money just to trade as well unless that loan can be paid within a month or 2.
A newbie should never take a loan or borrow money only to start his trading career because that is a big mistake. Someone who doesn't know anything about trading has never done it, doesn't even know much about the markets and their behaviors, that person will only need to learn the things at first, I wouldn't even recommend investing $10 but training and learning should be done using demo accounts.

One of the most important aspects of trading is patience, someone who doesn't have that can never get successful in trading because when you get into trading, there will be a lot of occasions where you will need to be patient and don't take hasty decisions.
885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: May 25, 2023, 01:58:10 PM
holding Bitcoin in 2023 is very frustrating for us because it is a dump and prices always fall,
but this is a good opportunity for those who have capital because HOLD for the long term is very good.
This is the truth, 2022-2023 have not really been a favourable year for most bitcoin holders who bought at the previous all high prices, but for those who have been waiting for the price to drop so that they can buy at a discount price.

So this is the best time to buy more bitcoin at a discount price but for those short-term investors who are waiting for the price to rise above its present price to sell are finding this year and time as the most discouraging year for them.
Those who bought Bitcoin above $30k before the bear market that we were in in 2022 are probably still waiting for the price to go across that range but it is not yet time for that. The current price is pretty good for those who bought in the bear market when the price hit $16k, but most buyers from that range are surely looking for a better price.

Bitcoin did pretty well at the beginning of 2023, and then it suddenly stopped appreciating and became stable and declining, bears were probably not done yet and they wanted some more accumulation before the bull market.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 25, 2023, 10:51:43 AM
Going or moving to another country is of course a very pleasant thing, I have plans to move to a developed country like the USA or Europe, I am currently around 25 years old and I will look for detailed information, and I have friends who work in the USA and are still actively communicating there, I'm sure one day I can go and work in the USA and of course in the long term I can become a citizen of the USA or other developed countries.
Well, whether it is pleasant or not is totally dependent on your status and the nature of the work you will be doing there since that will determine the quality of life you will be spending in that country you are moving in. If you are well-educated, skilled, and you know that you can get a job with a good pay rate, you will probably be good.

But, if you are going into the labor industry and will be working as a laborer out there, you are definitely going to have a hard time settling or having any time to enjoy your life and stay there as you will be working too hard to get pennies in return.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself: 2023 vs 2019 on: May 24, 2023, 06:16:39 PM
Bitcoin can reach to 50k$ very soon but now in the year 2023 we did not have seen any rise up to 50k$ May be in coming months it happens but in my opinion it will take some times.
Increase your patience level for this year if you want to see bitcoin hit $50k even though many of us believe it will.
There are 7 months in the 2023 calendar before we enter 2024, so there's definitely a lot going to happen to bitcoin in that time frame. Currently the movement for price recovery is still unclear, that's because the price of bitcoin is sideways so far.

I think this year is all about being optimistic, meaning that even though some bitcoin analysis still seems tough to hit $50k, maybe $50k will hit before the end of the year. I'll see how the market recovers gradually, so for sure I won't be in a hurry.
Though no one can know the exact future and it is not possible to predict the correct outcomes that might occur in the future, we can see the current stats and conditions and have an idea about what the outcome might be. And from what it looks like right now, the chances of Bitcoin's price hitting $50k this year are very tiny.

The price isn't showing much positivity at the moment. We saw some growth initially this year, but as the first quarter came to an end, that was the end of the growth as well and the price started getting stable and correcting itself, and we are still within the same phase.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin What is the probability of 60 K+ again? on: May 24, 2023, 04:44:03 PM
2022 was not a good year for all the crypto traders or investors but now it is 2023 and as we have experience high price from the start still now so there will be more increase in price this year. Sometimes the price get down but it never remains low forever so always be patience in those situations which cannot gives you any profit.

Those who invest for lengthy period of time have no worries about the ups and downs situations because they have keep in their mind that whenever they will have maximum return they will sell their bitcoin but will never take any step during harsh condition.
Not really, 2022 is the year I'm content with what I have and I think not only me but many long-term investors will love 2022, because we had a great time buying bitcoin at a low price compared to current prices. But on the contrary, many people are happy and excited to see bitcoin recover this year, while I feel like I missed out on something huge because I don't have enough time to buy more bitcoins under $20k. But that won't stop me from accumulating bitcoins for myself. I will keep accumulating until bitcoin exceeds 50k or as long as bitcoin stays below old ATH and I still have money Grin Grin.
The meaning of good and bad differs for every individual based on their preferences and intentions when it comes to the cryptocurrency market. If you are someone who has already bought their desired cryptocurrencies and have nothing left to buy more, you will obviously not like it if the market starts dropping after that since your portfolio will start dropping as well.

But, if you are someone who has been saving up and hasn't yet completed their shopping and your bag is still not full, you will love it if the market suddenly starts declining because you know you are going to get another opportunity to fill your bag.

Pakistan Shaheens may make a total of close to 300. After 47 overs, they are 263/6, with the 24-year old Omair Yousuf batting unbeaten at 138. Pakistan selectors are utilizing this opportunity well, to give chances to some of the younger players. Apart from Omair, Kamran Ghulam also scored a half-century. On the other hand, there seems to be no difference between the Zimbabwe Select squad and the Zimbabwe senior team. Almost all the players are regulars from the senior side. And they have really struggled against the young Pakistani players.
What a batting display by Zimbabwean as they chase 295 without any problem in just 48 overs Craig Ervine 161 was the hero for the home side as they are now leading this series by 3 - 1 against Pakistan after securing their third win with two matches are remaining in this series.

Zimbabwe won the toss and choose field first which was not good decision by them as Pakistani batting done good job and hammered them badly with last five overs concede 50 runs which was surely good achievement for Pakistanis but sadly Zimbabwean batting was also done good job and have very organized second wicket partnership of 278 runs which give them success in this match and now having control in this series as well now on 25th May we will have 5th match of this series.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 23, 2023, 07:29:18 PM
I don't understand why a casino would aim to get customers or gamblers from a certain class and why won't they aim to get gamblers from every class. A small casino would also want to have rich gamblers use their platform and getting them would obviously be their first priority since that brings in more profits and more opportunities for them to grow.

So what casinos basically want is people that have money with them, whether they are rich or poor or from the middle class, they don't care. All they need is someone sitting on a table or in front of a pc or having a smartphone, placing bets on one of the games, because that is what keeps their business running.
One thing is to note how do casinos or sports betting companies make money from their gambling sites? As far as I know if more users will get by any casino, will earn more. It's not like a rich gambler can give that casino more profit. Because if the rich man loses a big money he may not play again the next day. However, those who conduct gambling operations regularly, even if they are small, act as the main driving force of the casino or betting platform.
No, a rich gambler does give the casino more profit since they gamble a lot of money at once so even if they don't gamble for a month or so after that, the casino had already got enough from them from that single session. A regular and low-rolling gambler cannot give the casino the equivalent of what a high roller gives them in one sitting.

So basically, even though the low and mid rollers are more in quantity, casinos earn way more profit from their high-rollers and that is the reason why they provide them with perks and stuff every now and then so that they stick with them.
891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: May 22, 2023, 08:58:03 PM
I want to add one more point.
Crypto Ban In The Country: Recently in my country Government has banned the Crypto so the people who don't know about crypto, when we deal or try to tell them about crypto they say this is ban so we don't do any illegal work. So we also face this problem in our country.  The social media make panic situation in the people so they don't buy or sell.
These bans and regulations are always a hurdle for Bitcoin and people obviously will take these seriously and think that Bitcoin is something bad if they don't already know much about it. Governments take Bitcoin as a threat to their own benefits that they get by imposing rules and regulations and following the financial activities of their citizens.

But as time goes on, these things will start getting away as more awareness will spread and people will slowly come to know that Bitcoin isn't something bad but it is a useful thing that can be beneficial for them in the long run.
892  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Effects of Binance Changing Wallet Addresses on: May 22, 2023, 08:23:10 PM
I still dont know WHY people dont use a normal wallet.
* Lack of commitment - some heard that it's not so safe to keep a wallet locally and hope that an online business may cover the loses when something bad happens; they don't want to care about security, they don't want to buy a HW either
* Lack of understanding - many don't understand the difference between a wallet and an account. They see bitcoin like the cash in banks.
* Shallow understanding and laziness - "I can access it from the internet anytime" "I can transfer for free to my friend's account (inside the same platform)".

Keep in mind that the majority of people having bitcoin (or other crypto!) don't read (or read from wrong sources), don't care, and if they visit this forum they might do it only to earn some pennies.
The biggest reason out of these three is probably the lack of understanding since most people don't understand the difference and essence of a trading platform and a wallet. They think if their money is kept in the platform and it is called a wallet, they will be okay even if something bad happens, while in reality, it doesn't work that way.

If an account in an exchange gets compromised, they would never compensate you since they will call it your mistake as it is your responsibility to safeguard your account and enable 2 Factor Authentication, etc.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: May 21, 2023, 08:51:43 PM
All four teams are strong, but it is the Gujarat Titans and the Mumbai Indians who have got the strength to chase targets in an easier way. Today's matches were more than enough to be a proof. Mumbai Indians chased the 200  runs in a much comfortable way with the century coming from Cameron Green.

Gujarat Titans chasing the target of RCB's 197 is something unexpected, but they reached it with confidence. This time Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar did it for Gujarat Titans team. In the playoff the favourites to play the finals were Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians.

If I'm not wrong in the qualifier Gujarat Titans will win and reach the finals. In the eliminator Mumbai Indians will win against LSG and reach the qualifier 2, playing against Chennai Super Kings and reaches the final against Gujarat Titans. The final result is unpredictable.
An amazing end of main round in IPL with defending champions GT takes top spot and all-time best team CSK having second spot and people's best love MI is at fourth after having impressive win against RCB now as things are going in play-offs we can't predict who is going to win and have their spot into last two with all four teams are eligible for this spot and win as well after giving their best in early round.

But as we have performance from first round for me most chances GT will successfully defend their title and CSK or MI can stand at second spot even this all is personal thinking because right now all teams are level in quality and can do anything in these last matches with mostly players are having the best time specially MI which are having good batsmen and their bowling is also good but for me GT are the best again for the title.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 21, 2023, 08:24:26 PM
Sometimes the team doesn't defines the success of a project, I have seen projects back then early 2017 that came up with cool concept and with good team who were working tirelessly to make sure everything are being put to front, also with adequate protections in terms of security aspect.
But actually the project didn't survive why?

Because they couldn't raised the required funds during their ICO's and tell me if then someone choose to venture into their project don't you think that is a waste of resources?
And then there were lots of scammer who internationally want to scammer people with their hand ear money, what I actually sense from project that would be successful is that if the team are self funded and already made at this they won't purely depends on their sales to raise funds to further develop the project rather looking on their funds after which they got listed.
A project that has a good team and a good vision and they do almost everything perfectly and on time would barely become unsuccessful unless they have low-level marketing and don't know or work on how it should spread the word about its project and the products, otherwise, if everything is on its place, the project should get the funding it deserves if marketing is done correctly.

That is why it is also important to always see how a project is represented on social media or other marketing places like this forum, if you see them being good at it, believe that it will be a success if all other things are okay with the project.
895  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 21, 2023, 07:22:30 PM
Long bottom wicks during May 12, 17 and 18 could be telling us that some whales are trying to protect the 26k - 27k range.  We can't really be sure if they could but if they do, it could bring more bullishness back to the market and force the shorts to be flushed out and close out their trades causing even more positive price action.

The question is how long could 26k - 27k be held?  Pretty sure there are whales who are also taking the other side of the trade.
Whales could keep the market moving more positively for the rest of May, but I think retail traders are reacting too much to panic selling. In my opinion, the increasingly popular scalping strategy seems to have become problem in itself against possibly stay above $27k for May. The price is moving sideways and may tend to drop to another low due to the trader panic.

Whales will take any resulting dip due to panic traders without wanting to show any major moves in price. This is an opportunity for them on the accumulation plan, but anyway I hope the $27k will stick around for the rest of May this year.
We are yet to see panic sellers start, these are just normal trading activities and aren't panic sellers reacting to the market sentiments that whales might be trying to create. I don't think that whales would in any way try and hold the price at one position, their motive should probably be to drag the price down so that they can accumulate more at a lower price.

If the price stays within the range of $26k-27k for the whole month, we will probably see some upward movement right at the beginning of the next month, but if it drops below this range, we will be seeing it going down to $23k-22k at least.
896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT OPPORTUNITIES DOES CRYPTOCURRENCY AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY OFFER? on: May 20, 2023, 08:24:55 PM
NFTs
You can make and trade unique digital assets like art, collectibles, or virtual land to potentially earn profits from their appreciation or through royalties. You probably need to join communities too, so you can have more success in NFTs.
NFTs are nothing more than a sinking ship, it is not possible for anyone to create and sell NFTs or buy and sell NFTs to get profit. There are thousands of people who try to do that but only a few succeed in doing that since marketing NFTs is not a joke and you can barely find someone interested in buying your NFTs unless they are too attractive.

Only some brands or groups have got significant success in NFT marketplaces and individuals can barely get that much success since they can't find clients or finds it difficult to promote their NFTs or collections.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: May 20, 2023, 06:58:21 PM
Messi doesn't care about Ronaldo. The time is over when they fought each other in La Liga and you also seem to confuse something here. Messi apologized to PSG, but that has nothing to do whether he can go to the Saudi Professional League earlier or not. His contracts will expire either way. The apology was his approach to calm things down in general, but not because he thought that there is any advantage to him regarding a potential transfer to another league.

It is also not about "trying competitions outside of Europe". Not at all. Do you think he would go to the SPL for the competition? Cheesy The biggest dream of Ronaldo and Messi is to win the SPL now, sure... Instead of going to sunny Miami and play in the MLS, they prefer to go to Saudi Arabia because they want to try something new. You can't be thinking that. Cheesy It is money only, and nothing else.
Even though Messi doesn't care about Cristiano, each fan of the two still really cares about the competition between these two great players. imagine how big the world's attention will be on the saudi league if they succeed in bringing in messi, that's right instead of choosing to play in MLS, playing in the arab league is far more profitable (at messi's age now, talking about money is a natural thing)
Even though we have no official statement or official comment from any party about Messi and his future with mostly things will be clear at the end of June or early July because right now mostly players are preparing for the better end of this season and after this we will have where is Messi going for his future with most chances he will not play in UEFA because he already announces not extended contract and his recent visit of Saudi Arab is also creating rumors about his possible contract.

But, this all is not clear as Inter Miami is also strong candidate for him mean now we have good competition between Saudi and Americans so where he will go it's not clear but most chances he will leave this all and settled in the USA because this is going to be good for him and his career last years instead of going into Saudi league.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 20, 2023, 06:12:53 AM
Nobody bitcoin price prediction has work this season, I told my friends early January that this year will still be difficult for bitcoin to rise since they're still blocks on digestive and ingestive policies of government, why bitcoin should not stay by government. But they argued me to a fault but I knew bitcoin will not gets to $40k this year. The price will definitely rise but not at the moment. Do you predict the price to any level year?
You’re talking about the price in January and since then the price pump and if your friend didn’t listen to you, I’m sure he makes a lot of money already. The market is unpredictable, same as Bitcoin you can’t expect an accurate prediction from anyone. I’m still bullish anyway with Bitcoin, this current correction are only temporary, I expect in the last quarter of 2023, the price of Bitcoin will pump again, doing DCA right now is a good strategy.
We are still pretty far away from the third quarter of this year and anything could happen by then. Seeing the current price range, it seems like it is more in favor of getting into a downtrend movement pretty soon since it is showing no signs of going up at this point. If it manages to hit $30k again, it might soar up from there but if it goes around $25k, we will see it going down further.

Overall, if by the end of the year, the price of Bitcoin reaches $40k, that isn't too bad since it would be about a 26-27% growth from this point which is not really bad in my opinion, but as everyone said, these are all predictions and no one knows what will happen.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: May 19, 2023, 05:56:23 PM
Setting a retirement age for workers can make sense in some ways. It helps to ensure that there are opportunities for younger workers to enter the workforce and advance in their careers. Additionally it can help ensure that the older workers are not forced to work beyond their physical and mental capabilities. There are arguments that retirement age should be more flexible, based on individual circumstances such as health, financial status, and personal preference. Indeed whether or not a retirement age makes sense for every individual. None of us wants to force ourselves to work even we reach the old age.
Like you said earlier it depends. If you are old but are still very active and you also need money to support yourself and the people that depends on you then you can continue working. So, it is better for the retirement age to be flexible or better if a company doesn't have it so that there will be no worries if our company will permit us to continue or not but I think the only advantage of retirement age is that there are certain benefits that entails with them like pension funds. I don't know if that is the same to retirement funds but having one of it is better than nothing. It ensures you a fixed income even if you are no longer working.
900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you interpret low trading volumes that we see lately? on: May 18, 2023, 07:23:52 PM
When there are large trading volumes on the market, this tells us that the price of the coin is more fair.
If the price is not confirmed by trading volume, then  then we will see either a bearish trend with an increase in trading volume, or a bullish trend with an increase in volumes.
Fees on the Bitcoin blockchain have already declined and therefore BRC-20 tokens should not have a strong impact on trading.
I think if the coin has a high volume it means that its price is also high ( not fair or affordable ) because high volume means high demand. Take bitcoin for example. The crypto coin has the most volume among others and as usual, bitcoin is not affordable anymore for an average individual although we can still be able in smaller portions. Then we can wait for the bear run to save some money.

If we keep doing this, we can stack more bitcoins in our wallets and sell them for huge profits. It's great that the fees in bitcoin are now back to normal and the transaction speed is now fast again. Maybe experts have already find a solution to the recent problem that we are facing? Thanks to them.
