Indian economy is growing at a good pace (unlike the case of it's neighbors), and cricket still commands 80% to 90% share of the sports market in India. They sub-licensed TV rights to Zee later, logical step so nothing wrong with that. I used overvalued argument in the context of Eng+Aus's deal. But overall it does raise some eyebrows when looking at the complete bidding process of all regions and for subcontinent rights, second/third bids were around $2 Billion so one could argue that Disney-Star missed a trick only because ICC went for closed bidding and not E-auction. @JSRAW while on paper we all felt that Hotstar paid too much, but now I start to feel that they took a calculated risk because these days many people are cutting the cord and moving towards OTT platforms like Hotstar. It was quite difficult to play with 10 players and Southampton benefited from a red card in the 34th minute. I think Bayern Munich's odd for the championship is too low. I understand that they are still the biggest favourite anyway but they are technically sharing the points with Dortmund now.
Therefore I think this odd should be higher than this. Otherwise I would rather betting on Dortmund to win the league title. At least it would be worth trying. Their odd is really tempting in my opinion. Maybe Dortmund haven't been winning this title for many years but this doesn't mean there is no possibility again. If Bayern Munich continue to be inconsistent then Dortmund can turn this into an advantage.
@Velvet78 I’m not surprised to see lower odds on Bayern, because year after year they continue to win the league title and even when it looks that they might miss out in the end but they somehow pull off a miracle and win it. Actually, Barcelona has not convinced much at all this season. They are in the lead, but that is mainly because Real Madrid has missed a lot of points. Look at the results of Barcelona, that is really a lot of meager victory. Often 1-0 results, few goals against but also very few scored. They can, however, fully focus on the competition, since they are no longer active in Europe due to the elimination at United. I don't know if that is an advantage. Somehow Real Madrid always do much better in European tournaments, but in the competition they are not much different. Last season, Barcelona didn't even come close to Real Madrid, now it seems to be the complete opposite.
Based on their performance in this season, I think Barcelona has displayed well more than Real Madrid that made them to be ahead of Real Madrid which will be difficult for them to allow Real Madrid to take over the first position in the la Liga league table. The problem is that PSG works as if they were split in two parts. On the one hand there is the offensive part, and on the other hand there is the defensive part. But they don't seem to be working together a lot and when the offense has the ball, they rarely have any options to become create and it all comes down to Mbappe and Messi pulling off a miraculous move and score, but if that is not happening, PSG runs into a deadlock.
That is true. They are lack of good combinations and supports between parts of their system, attacking, midfield and defensive. In previous seasons, their defense was their Achilles but in this season, it seems they have problems from all areas. Attacking system does not finish a task to score goals, midfield players made mistakes like Veratti that caused a first goal for Bayern and acceptable performance from their defense system in this match is not enough. The same counts when they are defending against Bayern attacks, the whole offensive line is standing around in front waiting for the defense to do the work and then play the ball to them. This is different for Bayern where even Choupo-Moting is investing at least some effort into his defensive work.
Choupo-Moting is a normal player in PSG and did not contribute too much in Paris but in Bayern, he became their main striker and his contribution increased a lot. A good system in Bayern helps normal striker like Choupo-Moting can maximize his ability and contribute more for the club. As you discussed, his contribution is widely including defensive participation too. @hd49728 I believe that PSG will now sack their head coach at the end of the season, and hopefully their next coach can figure out how to make this team work together because yesterday they were not in sync at all. I wonder what's going on with Vettel rn... Lol. He's prolly giving his wife a hard time for giving him hints that he should retire from F1 as Aston Martin doesn't look like a team who could put him on podiums.  Just one more season and he would've reaped the profits of his labor with the team. I also thought about Vettel while watching race and that would be interesting to see him in current Aston Martin together with Alsonso.
