Some people had bet bitcoin would crash due to the fork, and well the most of them soo far had lost a good moment to watch instead try lucky, but its about bitcoin, the unknow is really a dark side of bitcoin as any other altcoin. Speculation will always be around bitcoin and altcoins, but stay at fiat beging bitcoin to dump looks like wont happen soo soon.

Well i expect and analyze based on what you said you are not disappointed in trading ,is it right? Maybe now you enjoy and having fun with trading but sooner you will realize the fun thing in your mind with trading is just a nonsense and it is not the right site or activity to have fun in losing .But anytime you can always come back to have a proper education in reading the charts . i think it is common to people that when they lose money they become disappointed in trading but they manage to overcome their disappointment in trading and try to change their policy so as to overcome their lost. This is different between professional trader and speculator, if some people give up trading after big loss, because they just is speculator and only want earning profit without spend their money first for receive experience. |

For sure it will crash hard once people deposit on Bittrex and dump, it might get pumped in the future who knows, think I'll just hold mine, they were free so not losing out on anything. Plus it's too sketchy trying to split the coins at the moment.
Hearing from some experienced man here. That is what others are also saying. Holding some free money is not that hard to do after all. There is virtually no risk involved here because what you are holding is given to you freely. But if you not sell this free money before it drop down to lowest price or loss value, you will waste the opportunity have some money from it. However I think sell 50% or all with highest price as 0.4 on Bittrex in past day and buy back again with the price in current better than sell all and forget it. |

Bitcoin is split, so its value will also be divided, BCC and BTC will carry different values, but I think BCC will carry a very low value. A free gift can not carry a high value. Market capitalization does not allow that.
At he end we will all sell this free gift and convert it to bitcoin. Considering this gift as free money most will change momentary to bitcoin some will hope BCC will go up but when all drop it price will go down this is some feeling about it and dont think this will be better. Dont know how much is the price that some predict but my prediction is that will be much lower then current one on coinmarketcap. Maybe its too hard to predict its price but knowingly it will be the trend for now so the attention of traders will also split in two BTC and BCC . But like you said this is a free money or gift it will dump in a certain time so its better to hold it and sell in a good price . The market always like doing the opposite our hope and it has prove that's right after reach to value $1000/BCC in past days. What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
People have many reason why they are holding bitcoins maybe they are waiting for a higher value of bitcoin before they sell it and maybe they are planning to save it for the future of their kids or for their future or maybe they want to buy something expensive so they are earning lots of btc before they sell it Personally I’m holding bitcoin not only for the chance they get more valuable in the future, but because I think in the future a great deal of the economy is going to move in bitcoins, so I’m preparing for that day, also I think that if an economic crisis comes to happen like the one in the 2007 I think bitcoin could be a way to save yourself a lot of trouble, so that is another great feature of bitcoin. Well, the issue inflationary in our economic will decreasing more when we use Bitcoin as digital cash our new currency because the total supply coin of Bitcoin have limit and can't create or release as Dollar or other currency on the world's. |

When the price goes lower it is not the time to sell, it is the time to buy, I know you are frustrated with all of this debate about scaling believe me, many are tired of it, but it seems we are finally going to get it solved, there is no point in getting out of bitcoin after waiting for so much time, hold until the price goes back to is previous levels. yes that is right that the present time is not the best time to sell bitcoin right now i think we should wait for the right time because in future it is expected that the price of bitcoin will reach too much high therefore holding bitcoin in present time will be a good decision. In fact, if you have a plan holding Bitcoin in 1-5 years, not have issue about the price of Bitcoin at now. On some coins because those coins are dumped and there are a chance those coins keep dumped till the end or over 1st August . We don't know when coins will be stable, just be prepare if your pick keep dumped and keep hold your coin after that. Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.
Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?
I think bitcoin will never die. You can't say that the bitcoin is dead. Many people know that bitcoin will stay in this world forever. I hope you also realize that bitcoin is not dead. Those problems are only part of challenges and obstacles that the bitcoin faced. yes that is right that bitcoin cannot die but it will remain as for ever. i am sure that bitcoin will continue giving us profit and hope that even the poor people will even enable to earn money and fulfill their needs. Bitcoin not dead, but if after August 1st have some news about BTC-e exchange can't re-open. I sure 100% we will see the happens repeat in 2013-2014, Mt.Gox version 2.0 by BTC-e  . So, maybe need 2-3 years as in past time for Bitcoin can recovery and increasing. This is schedule is already available. |

I agree but it appears that Bitcoin continues to influence the rest of the cryptocurrency market to a significant degree. As we've seen in the past few weeks, uncertainty for Bitcoin translates to uncertainty for cryptocurrency (and vice versa).
Because every trend on the market are follow the status from Bitcoin (represent for crypto world) and when Bitcoin have problem, altcoin will crashing too. I think not have any altcoin can replace Bitcoin if next time the price of Bitcoin comeback to range $1500-$1200, so don't believe Ethereum or other altcoin can helps you keep safe your money. Just be careful not to trade at that time, anything can happen let alone trading ETH on one of the exchange. Because storing bitcoin or other altcoin like ETH can just disappear. My advice to it in order to pull out all of it into your personal wallet not on exhchange.
With the happens in current, the user Bitcoin really need have knowledge about Desktop Wallet Bitcoin can keep private key or cold storage. I have some friends not have this knowledge and very panic when BTC-e in past day officially down. |

I am a day to day trader and there are many moments everyday where I have a habit of panicking but every time I just do a simple task. Leave the trading whenever I panic. Let it be like that, the coin will jump back after some days or weeks rarely but they do come back. So its never a problem for me.
Depending the type day trader on market. If you are a day trader margin, I ask you can still keep your calm and hold this loss in 1-2 months by your mistake and pay fees loans to exchange everyday? In past time, I very like you and not use stop loss when trading. So, in June begin bearish trend on market, I loss 80% my funds for this order only because I believe this coin can recovery. Until today this coin still lowest price and can't recovery to base in 2 months ago I bought. |

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?
Sometimes when things get really confusing. I just go back to the real world and said, I will do better next time. Emotions are not the basis of success but our main purpose is to be successful so we should control that otherwise all the things that we have been working hard will become useless. Every successful trader has experience failure when starting up but by correcting the mistakes it will help us to be more matured and we will have the success in controlling our emotions as well, no way I will stop trading, for me this is my road to financial success. Me too. I've now considered trading as one of my primary sources of earning and it seems i have a good way of handling my emotions when it comes to it. The key really is having patience to wait and avoid making rushed decisions due to excitement or anxiety because that's when you're going to lose money. I try to be relaxed as much as possible when doing trades and it worked pretty well so far trading is in fact a very good and profitable source of earning money. I think those people who have some experience in trading they can really make good profit from trading altcoin. specially those people who are also interested in trading. Well all of us was at a point when we're just starting out and for starters it's quite hard to have your emotions in check. We're expecting profits when we trade especially if we see other traders earning a lot so for newbies, it important to manage your expectations. It's highly possible that your initial trades would be flunks and that's why you have to minimize your high expectations for a high return because it will come in time Controlling our emotions is really one of the most important things to learn and master. Not to mention that it is one of the hardest things to master as well. Why, because we tend to become more emotional when gambling. Special the FOMO is a factor make we usually have mistake when trading, and hurry is no exception too. When see the crypto we following increasing fast or flash crash, we will get some fearing need sell or buy now in this time. I say yes. Have two reason make me choose it:
1. August in 2016 and 2015 are the time Bitcoin decreasing, although not know the reason make that but this is a rules in 2 years ago!
2. Use technical analysic for compare chart Bitcoin in 2017 with 2013, I can see some similarities after the price of Bitcoin breakdown to $1800 and recovery to $2900 after some days. Maybe we are stay in Elliot waves B is bullish trap and if August 1st is waves C, we will see big breakdown in that time!
No, in 2017 the crypto world have many more changes on market. It not as 2013-2014 have big crash by the news Mt.Gox exchange stealing money of user and escape. If you want invest into stellar, very good when invest with exchange, but don't try trading with margin, you will loss your money because the price of Stellar always control by whales. What abouth Ethereum, do you think it will go down more?
I don't expect for Ethereum to go down these days since maybe this coin is the second choice for the people who holds btc in their wallets, But if you think you can see some little flaws on it then load your pocket up and buy those cheap ETH when it occured so that you can earn with it when the time it will spike again on future, But seems ETH is on its green days and I expect that this one would reach 0.1 btc each on this coming days. Well, I believe Ethereum will test resistance line 0.1 BTC again soon, although have some news about Coindash ICO use platform Etherum for their blockchain had got hacked and loss 7.4 Millions Dollar of user, but the price of Ethereum still increasing today |

Does the user factor affect the value of bitcoin or altcoin as well? I'm still a newbie, so I do not know the details of bitcoin or altcoin value and that affect it.
The mentality of trader on market in present is one of factors make the price falldown like now, they always scared status SegWit2x Bitcoin and even though the price Bitcoin up or down, altcoin just down and down! But in past week have some recovery but I don't know this is really recovery or trap. |
