882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell my bitcoin from 2010 on: January 20, 2021, 08:20:04 PM
It's good that you bought bitcoin the year 2010, I suggest to sell it not all because it is risky I suggest to sell it few only and the rest is sell in the other day or weeks. This is my dream that I bought bitcoin in that year because that year is the cheapest value of the bitcoin and those people who trust bitcoin on that year and have it until now are gain a lot of money or they are a millionaire now.
Well, if you really bought bitcoin at that time, that is really good news for you to know that the value of bitcoin as of now is really high, hitting a new all-time high and even doubled since 2017. Imagine buying a bitcoin at such a low price, you are already a millionaire right now.  That is really good but the fees are high, but knowing that you are holding a lot of bitcoin, that is still good. I am also wishing that I bought bitcoin at that time but I knew bitcoin in 2017, and the price is already high.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These projects will go big in 2020, I assume. on: January 20, 2021, 08:00:35 PM
only projects  have quality good can stay holding good development, positive news will make project last long and of course have prices on the market
I am not interested in the options presented, I still have the principle that trust wallets will be a good project in the long run
There are really good projects out there, you can look at the top tokens at the market and you can make your own research about how good that project is, that is to make sure that your money will grow when you invest in that. You should consider a lot of things before investing in a certain project because there are still lots of projects that are scams. There are projects that are continually innovating their own platform and that is making them famous and gaining a lot of investors.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 20, 2021, 07:40:08 PM
I thinks it is money in the current world.
You can buy a tesla with btc even yesterday i saw a football player was bought by a club using cryptocurrency.
So for btc or other currencies  its just a matter of time to take a strong position.
You can buy many other things also though it is not widely usable.
Cryptocurrency is digital money wherein you can access it through your own mobile device or on your personal computer with an internet connection. It is the future of making transaction, there are some people who think that it will be our future currency, but as of now, it is far from happening because cryptocurrency itself has disadvantages, maybe in the future if all the countries already recognized and adopting the use of cryptocurrency. There are still countries that don't accept crypto, they are thinking that it is a scam, which we all know that it is not.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 20, 2021, 07:20:14 PM
From the little experience am having in crypto when investing or trading is better to always take your profits and you can reinvest your capital or you can reinvest your profit and remove your capital, when trading or investing always make sure your capital is safe don't just leave both your capital and profit there. After taking your profit you can reinvest in another coin later and don't always fall in love with a coin.
That is a really good idea for you to be able to keep earning, that is depending on you how much you take and how much you will invest since it is your own money. For me, I want to reinvest all of that to have a bigger income in the near future. I don't need fancy things as of now, I can buy the things that I want in the future if I got to make my money bigger by investing in a particular altcoin or even in bitcoin. I don't know how to do day trading, but I might just buy some of the tokens and will hold them for a long time.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going up? on: January 18, 2021, 10:30:22 PM
Ethereum is indeed a good project and contains a good platform that enables it to become famous and that is also why it is second to bitcoin on the top list in the market. We all know that the thing that makes ethereum famous is their smart contract wherein there is no attorney or any contract needed when you are doing some transaction since it is a digital transaction. And now, we are waiting for ETH 2.0 to be successful in the future when it's being released.
887  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of your total assets would you rather invest in bitcoin? on: January 18, 2021, 10:10:04 PM
It is depending on the funds I have because I don't have any job and any skills in trading which I want to learn. I only invest by actually buying and holding it for such time that it will rise in terms of value. My asset depends on the movement of the value of bitcoin itself and also depending on the length of the timeline that I bought it. If I bought it for a long time and sold it at a price right now, it is a high profit for me. I am planning to buy again, I am just waiting for the time that the price falls a little bit.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adult companies and bitcoin? on: January 18, 2021, 09:50:04 PM
There are lots of companies that are now adopting and recognizing the use and nature of bitcoin. Paypal and Visa are one of them, PayPal is one of the biggest online payment systems, and now they are accepting bitcoin, just imagine how big the impact will affect the market because of that. For me, those things are one of the reasons why we have reached a new ATH this year, which is very unbelievable wherein bitcoin hits a new all-time high and it is being doubled in price since 2017.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any other place to sell, buy, trade cryptocurrencies without internet connnecttion on: January 18, 2021, 09:30:44 PM
The following company enables users to sell, buy or trade cryptocurrencies without the need to connect to the internet. This sounds too good to be true isn’t it?

https://allohash.com/

I want to know about this futher more 🙂

how it work mate ? i don't really understand about how to trade crypto without internet connections except buyer and seller meet face to face
but, in this digital era, thats not a good idea, because with internet its easier for us to buy or sell anything including crypto buddy
This might happen but I don't think how. We all know that cryptocurrency is digital money wherein you can only access those tokens if you have an internet connection and your own device. But if some project enables us to do such a transaction wherein there is no internet connection needed when making a transaction, that is indeed good and maybe safe since you are not connected to a worldwide network. Maybe the only thing that is needed when making a transaction is the private key.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Financial Crisis scenarios on: January 17, 2021, 10:01:06 PM
What about a pandemic ? ;-)

I think the post pandemic will be far worse than the pandemic : riots, massive hyperinflation, war, something else huge that will change humans forever
Pandemic somehow affects the market, but the effect is not that bad because the quarantine makes every people want to earn by using their own device and their own money online. Many people are now relying on that way of earning since bitcoin is a good way of investment, many people want to know about cryptocurrency. Also, big companies are adopting the use of bitcoin since it is efficient and reliable to use especially since the virus is spreading so making a digital transaction is better.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to take profit from your current bitcoin holding. on: January 17, 2021, 09:41:05 PM
This highly depends on your current/actual circumstance.

If you are aiming to take a profit, then you can withdraw your bitcoins the moment the price is higher when you initially acquired them. In this circumstance, you have already profited and reached your goal.

In the second circumstance, you can also HODL a part of your bitcoins and save the other for long-term investing. Although I do acknowledge that there are investors who have hundreds of btc, I would recommend doing the first instance that I mentioned.

That is also depending on the timeline when you bought that bitcoin. Because if you bought it when the price is at a low price, and by looking at the price of bitcoin as of now, you can actually sell it now. But if you want to make more profit, you can still hold it. But if you bought some bitcoin at the start of its rising, you can take profit but not that big enough. It depends on your decision also, since it is your own money. Long term investing is indeed good since it is less hassle and less stress. Short-term trading is really depressing because since bitcoin is really volatile in terms of price you have to make a good analysis of the movement of its price.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: January 17, 2021, 09:20:34 PM
there are still some bounties that can make money even if not in large amounts and this is enough for everyone to earn additional income. So still want to forget about the bounty? even if I have expertise in finding bugs, I will never leave the bounty, at least I will get more profit, I'm greedy Cheesy
There are still bounties that are going or running, but we cannot say that it will always go through success. There are lots of bounties that are failing right now because some of the investors are finding their new way of earning through cryptocurrency, I might say that they are going in trading right now since it is really profitable especially at a time like this when the price of every cryptocurrency is surging up. Also maybe the reason why tether is on the top list on the market because that is being used as your primary money before trading.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 17, 2021, 09:00:12 PM
Cryptocurrencies cannot replace the fiat / classic system. Let me explain now. Cryptocurrency, and specifically bitcoin, has one feature - the irreversibility of the operation. This, in my opinion, is a key property that does not allow using cryptocurrency instead of fiat funds. Let me explain - because of this property, the stolen funds cannot be returned to the rightful owner, in the absence of a password from the wallet, the funds of the deceased cannot be returned to the family, a forgotten password is equal to irreversibly lost funds, an erroneously sent transaction cannot be canceled. And there are many more situations that blockchain technology has, but fiat money does not have.
Fiat and Cryptocurrency have their own essence of existence. We cannot really easily say that cryptocurrency can replace fiat, we still need to do traditional transaction since the knowledge of cryptocurrency is not that famous and do not recognize by all countries, there are still countries that didn't recognize as a good way of payment method, and also an invesment. There are still disadvantages in cryptocurrency such as high fees when the price is at the peak, also it is irreversible when you sent it on the other wallet (mistake of sending it into another wallet).
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: January 17, 2021, 08:40:51 PM
Yes, it is right decision to sell bitcoin in higher price. I'm waiting for the lower price so that I can buy more. Hopefully price of the bitcoin will fall again within short possible of time.
Absolutely, if you really want to make some profits, you should do buy low and sell high, we all know that. The price of bitcoin is really that high and good enough to sell your holdings, and then wait for the time that the price will fall again and that is the time for you to buy some bitcoin again and sell it when the price hits new ATH. We believe that it might happen this year, we are all hoping for that to happen. As of now, it is your decision to make if you want to sell or wait until the price pumps up again.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: January 17, 2021, 08:20:57 PM
We can introduce any project to our friends as long as you explain very well the project and of course make sure that your friend will not blame you if they lose the money on this market. I'm tired of doing this honestly, because most of my friends are still not interested and I don't want them to blame me if they lose money, so I let this one go and focus on my own goals but if someone asked me about cryptocurrency then of course I'm willing to help them.
Indeed, we can introduce any project that we want as long as we are explaining everything that is important and that is good for them and what they need to know. Explaining cryptocurrency to a beginner is difficult but if you try to explain it while showing every information or showing some videos for them to easily understand. That will help them to gain knowledge and have curiosity in their mind and they will try to invest. Try to recommend some good projects that are worth investing in, so they won't blame you for losing their money.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: Tether's market cap is huge! (usdt) on: January 15, 2021, 11:28:24 PM
USDT does have a large market cap and is now in 3rd position and has succeeded in replacing XRP's position. This happens because USDT is
indeed the most popular stable coin and is widely used by investors. In fact USDT is listed on almost all exchanges, so it is only natural that
USDT trades volume over Bitcoin. I myself don't really believe in USDT, but I keep the profit from trading on USDT, because USDT is easiest
to find on any exchanges. But I also never kept large funds in USDT.
Tether is indeed on the top list on the market. The reason is that trading is now famous as a way of income for many people. And for them to trade tokens that they want, they are choosing USDT as their primary token before buying a particular token, since it is stable, it might change but not that big change. It is also the income of the trader when they are done trading, they are selling the token that they bought through USDT and they will sell it back to USDT.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin's fees overpriced? on: January 15, 2021, 11:08:36 PM
I don't think the Bitcoin fees overpriced, it still makes sense. The price of Bitcoin is growing and many people are transferring their Bitcoin around the world. So, it makes sense if there is an increase in Bitcoin fees. As long as the increase isn't too significant, I think we can understand why it can rise. The Bitcoin fees aren't regulated by any institution, just accept it if the price can increase at any time.

That is because of the pump of bitcoin value. Every time bitcoin's price rises up, the fees will follow. The knowledge of bitcoin that is spreading might be the one reason why also we are experiencing this. As many companies adopting the use of bitcoin and also recognizing cryptocurrency, that might be the reason why the value of bitcoin pumps up and even hit new ATH which doubled the value of ATH of 2017, and also why the fees are high.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: January 15, 2021, 10:48:48 PM
This is one of the disadvantages when we experienced a bull run on every token. Not only ethereum is experiencing high fees like that, but also bitcoin. When the token's value rises up, the value also of the fees is rising up, which is not good for every investor and trader because if they want to take profit, whether they want to deposit or withdraw their funds, high fees are the ones that restrict them from doing that, if they are big trader or investor that might not be the problem but what if you are just a small trader.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 15, 2021, 10:27:37 PM
Some people are pretty desperate, and would go through ‘shortcuts’ in order to get their hands on something that isn’t officially available until X amount time has passed. The million dollar question here is: if those vaccines are indeed the true concoctions, who the hell is releasing them in the public? I know that most production facilities for the approved vaccines are already functional, but their orders are already booked even before they are created. This should be investigated if there’s a sliver of truth on the dark web ads IMO because those vaccines may harm people if improperly administered.

This just further proves that some people are really over-the-top opportunists and overly-greedy, making money of the public’s necessity.
They are not thinking about the safety of what they are doing, I can say that those people tend to scam other people, they might buy a lot of supplies of vaccines underground and they will sell them at a higher price. We are not sure if those vaccines are really effective, as of now, we should be careful taking vaccines, there are people who will take advantage of the situation and take the opportunity to scam other people. I recommend that you should wait for your own government of the LGU to decide what vaccine you should use.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: January 15, 2021, 09:55:34 PM
That is how volatility of bitcoin is shown.
Bitcoin is dying we think when the price is down. But, it gets up always and proves its worth. I like bitcoin because I feel free using it as payment. No worries on taxes, really hassle free. As long as it is legally used, there is no problem.
You cannot easily say that bitcoin will die just because the price falls down, that is the nature of every cryptocurrency, the price is changing time by time, the volatility of every token is constant. Keep on believing that bitcoin will live as we continue to use it and as of now, we can see that big companies are now recognizing and adopting the use of bitcoin, which is good news for everyone especially the community because that might help the market to rise up.
