881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto fighting a losing battle against Ripple? on: May 19, 2017, 07:56:50 PM
The recent spike in Ripple's price made it surpass ETH for good

I really doubt it will be "for good". Ripple is yet to be adopted as a currency in order for it to keep its place in the top and well there's one place where it's centralization will never be welcome and that's deepweb. At the same time ETH is already being accepted as payment there.

Go educate yourself on XRP and latest news. And, yes, its already in top! And deepweb is a myth, just for government to know on how sick society is.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've Had Enough Of BTC - Converting To A New Currency on: May 19, 2017, 07:53:29 PM
Clear answer to OP: Litecoin. It is the next best alternative, it has been around almost as long as BTC. It is BTC's younger brother. There is a large hashing infrastructure and most exchanges trade it, in large volume.

It confirms fast, low fees...and will always stay like that, due to Segwit/LN plus guaranteed on-chain capacity.

NOT RIGHT ANSWER: LiteCoin is heavily manipulated shit by the same army of Chinese miners as BTC is. SegWit was buy rumours, sell news. Unclear roadmap with not commitments. Just make fucking BTC work, without any hardforks, LTC, DOGIE or whatever crap.

Or just use XRP and be happy.

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, about time, buttfinex getting in on the XRP action....
who's next?  Grin

FINCEN, IRS?

You are legally owning XRP? Sure, but a large public freeze will wake up sheeple so epic dump starts and you are all affected...

Here, Ripple has frozen someone's assets already, so they have practise...good luck when the first terrorist, Iranian bank or darknet portal uses XRP.... Grin

Once the transaction completed, however, Ripple Labs demanded that Bitstamp use its gateway power to freeze McCaleb’s account and prevent him from withdrawing the actual cash.
Ripple Labs then requested that the transaction be reversed — it wanted the $1,038,172 returned

You such dumb-ass, posting disputes that was back in 2015, where dirt was brought out of house. You are pathetic. Much better vision on history given here: http://www.coindesk.com/bitstamp-court-1-million-dispute-ripple-jed-mccaleb/

The same day, the complaint states, Ripple Labs moved to purchase 96,342,361.6 XRP at a cost of $1,038,172. Ripple Labs later told Bitstamp it bought the XRP “in order to avoid and mitigate irreparable harm and damages".

More over, XRP where frozen by BitStamp due to dispute.

Never could understand what stimulates such sick idiots to post nonsense. Though, story shows on how much this guy lost now.

There seems to be some kinds of weird, almost fetish-like desperation with these trolls... I really don't get it... why are some people so miserable with their own lives they want to try and shit in everyones' cheerios?

Probably he bought at ever first spike @ 4k and sold @ 2.5k and now looks @ 18k and understands on how his life is miserable.

I don't think the Ripple can see the same growth as bitcoin. It's just a bubble coin waiting to be burst. Its just a matter of time till bagholders will suddenly dump their coin without hesitation for profit. This is very common practice in altcoin and I don't think Ripple will be an exception to this.

I do not think that you in position to think at all. Your brain is a bubble waiting to be burst. Its just a matter of time till XRP will suddenly grow without minding trolls and your brain burst. This is very common practice in altcoin. I do not think that you exception.

The roadmap is promising, product looks working, very undervalued compared to other air-project and more important very interesting and promising that has future. Long term is perfect here.

I'm a purist.

Than crypto world is not for you!

I can buy beer with bitcoin, I cannot buy beer with derivatives.

But even if you admit derivatives and so into account, ripple would be worth an insane amount at $2000 per XRP.

Nah, BTC is not perfect as-well, the one who mines and has biggest share in it, manipulates price. XRP supply is not infinite, it just huge, and it decreases, so by the time it will be $2000, amount of available asset will be small.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC to 0.028 BTC $50 Final squeeze 6000 BTC Bull run on: May 19, 2017, 03:05:16 PM

50-100 after this correction. there is manipulation involved. did you see that HUUUGE sell wall when the price reached below 0.012 on polo? like who would continue to sell at those prices. if you think the past month bull run was insane, wait for this next one. could be up to 0.03
Yes its comes always with two good pumps, we didn't saw another one. 0.03 is quite possible and whales will try this. LTC jumped too fast and prince was out of control, this was expected to happen. Whales are controling everything and this small stagnation is consolidation of strength.
Isn't that obvious?
yes its is more than obvious, this "segwit news" are not exploited enough.

there is still Lightning Network and confidential transactions. thats why LTC will reach a new level after the price has settled at the current rate.

Correction: after development will be done and put into production

Jed would be the richest men on earth ever.  Cheesy Cheesy

What can you do with Ripple for it to worth more than all the money in the world?

There is no such thing like all money in the world!

Around $80 trillion.

https://www.quora.com/How-much-money-is-in-the-world

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-is-how-much-money-exists-in-the-entire-world-in-one-chart-2015-12-18

http://gizmodo.com/5995301/how-much-money-is-there-on-earth

Total ripple supply per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/

99,994,742,943 × $2000 = $199,989,485,900,000

That's more than twice all the money in the world. Cheesy

And if Jed keeps just 1 of his billions of ripples he would be trillionaire.

There is no such thing like all money in the world!

Could Ripple see the same growth as Bitcoins, like going from 0.05$ to almost 2000$ in less than a decade? Could Ripple one day be worth over a 1000$?

Ripple reaching $2000 is nonsense. Does this thing even have a finite supply? it looks like an inflation mess, centralized, and premined, it has no point other than emulate fiat currency. It looks like a living contradiction.

Ripple has no point long term unless the system adopts it as the centralized controlled coin, but it would never be a store of value i would hold long term.

there's a small problem for ripple speculators. banks will use it. banks will not buy your xrp off you to do business. that would be extraordinarily stupid. they'll use the code for their own ends. nothing else.

no... why would anyone use ripple? might as well use paypal

I think, you have to update your knowledge before post nonsense.

Could Ripple see the same growth as Bitcoins, like going from 0.05$ to almost 2000$ in less than a decade? Could Ripple one day be worth over a 1000$?

Its like asking, "Could BTC reach 1000" back in 2010. Or you can ask now "Could BTC reach 100000"
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 19, 2017, 02:04:11 PM
I think people are nuts.

So after reading about crypto for two months after work you conclude that people that trade since years are nuts?
Possible. I would just suggest that you don't start risking a lot right away on this idea.

Are nuts on not seeing Ripple potentials, I can consider another point of view: "testing weak hands by trolling".
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 19, 2017, 01:10:47 PM
I came to Crypto world in middle of March this year, I had a lot of information to consume apart of my daily job to make a decision where to invest. So much fud, trolls, disinformation that it just impossible to do in couple days to have rational decision. But clearly XRP draw my attention, for following things: idea that really changes the world, working product that is getting pilots with largest banks and basically get used (by banks) around the world, dedicate team that does this for years and low price (0.005 - 0.01c). So from now on, what I saw:

- raise to 2000 satoshi in ~ 2 weeks after
- spike to 7700 satoshi in ~ 2 days after rise
- correction between 3000 and 2500 satoshi after spike for about a month (during this time a lot of complained that they entered at 2800-4300)
- in 2-3 days price grown to more than 4000 satoshi
- than after the less than week price jumped to ~6700 satoshi
- couple days after 8000 satoshi
- another day after 12k satoshi
- and than almost every day after it took it peak to 24k satoshi

Some one who claims that this is inorganic grow, missed news about new exchanges, banks, lock-up, decentralization, participation in major events and up-coming demos. I think people are nuts.

Next? Next is $4 to $40, not this year but in upcoming, $1 is cheap, it just cheap for what we already saw and what is coming. I set my new high and HODL!
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 18, 2017, 05:43:23 PM
This is very, very awesome news. And one more step for XRP not to depend on XBT anymore!

What Ripple website has to do with it price?

Mean time, some one is dumping their stash..  Polo cold wallet went up 1.3 mill coins and then the dump began..  I think they are done.

There is price manipulation on polo, no-one is dumping, relax.

BTC pow is Literally like "Banging head to a rock 559,970,892,891 times" and saying somehow it is more valuable. It does not serve anyone nor does anybody good.

We shoudl be thankful XRP does not burn forests and peta-flops of processing like BTC for nothing. The purpose of mining is to establish a authentic process of creation, a poor way of doing.

XRP does it far better, eliminates fake, by using maths and simply because you "cannot" create any more XRP, and validation is by consensus ( instead of a cock fight )

Its literally evolution.

I have read lots of crap on this forum but that is the worst in a long time

So you are saying, Shit or sand is better than Gold, because Gold is so hard to mine...such waste of energy...so let's use shit or sand, it is easy to collect. It is evolution LOL  Grin

The essence of money, since the beginning of man, is this: it must be rare, it must be hard to find. Even a neanderthal knows this.  Roll Eyes

Since no human being can be that stupid or delusional, I come to believe that you own a SHITLOAD of Ripple and try to dump it at the highest possible price, by shilling fulltime  Angry Angry Angry

Gold is shit compared to Antihydrogen! But as one wise member of this thread stated Neanderthals only heard of Gold.

XRP is still better than yesterday, price is almost 0.40$, market cap is 15B and BTC is up to 1834, and no trolls.

Alts 24h turnover is barely 3B, FX is 5.6T are we in the bubble? Fuck, you can name every red candle a bubble.
